The story is in the year 1400, in the fictional realm of Harrowfall. The land is divided into three factions. The Noble yet savage Gandians. The Royal yet honorable Mershians, and the selfish yet wise Tamigons. Wars between Gandia and Mershim are becoming more and more fierce as time goes on. Diplomatic relationships are becoming strained. Tamigar acts as neutral area but it has problems of its own.
FactionsThe Kingdom of Gandia (Gandians) is an older style kingdom where the poor and lower ranks live in caves while the rich and higher ranks live in fancy tents.
They don't stay in one place for long, and they are honor warriors that hunt for their food.
They consider fighting hunting and stealing to be the greatest honors in life.
They are known for making up in skill what they lack in equipment, their magic is very powerful.
Their main classes are warrior, shaman, and scout.
The Kingdom of Mershim (Mershimans) live in stone castle style forts in the lands to the north.
There are three castles in this kingdom, one in the mountains, one in the forest, and one on the edge of the desert
The lower ranked people live in the outskirts of the castles while the higher ranked live in the towers
They produce livestock and domesticate animals and are very protective of their land and crops.
They fight with a few well armed warriors and have good equipment. and fairly powerful magic
Their main classes are Knight, Wizard, and Spy
The Kingdom of Tamigar (Tamigons)
The trades men of the land, they live in a huge city to the south by the ocean.
The city is run by the Magisters while the low level citizens work in the mills and in the different businesses.
They produce goods and services and when they need to fight they have assassins and hitmen for hire.
Their hitmen are known for their impressive weaponry, and deceptive magic.
Their main classes are Tradesmen, Magister, and Assassin
RULESNo Player Humans, be something interesting please.
Attacking a member of another faction is perfectly acceptable, but it is considered bad RP etiquette to attack an offline person. Friendly fire is also bad etiquette. Please try to remember the politics of your current situation, whatever it may happen to be at the time.
Remember you can declare an attack but you can't decide whether or not it lands. Only a DM of this thread or the person being attacked can decide if the hit lands. but don't make yourself invincible. You are not a god. This is a game, make it fun.
If you die, too bad, just make a new character. (some characters may beg survival for the good of the plot.)
And remember The DMs have the last word
if you have any questions send them to me in a Private Message with the title Harrowfall thread.
