Kiki giggled at the reactions of the people around her. Albus looked like he was about to spit out a mouthful of food, and Carly was gawking at her with eyes so wide it looked like they were about to pop out and roll across the table. Scorpius managed to keep his face on, just slightly smirking at her- an expression she returned. Her eyes were laughing, but all she let escape her was a small giggle as she raised a brow at Carly. "Careful," she said calmly, "I think you're jaw is about to fall off." Finally gaining her composure, the girl glared, the confusion in her eyes obvious, despite her efforts.
It was obvious to Kiki that although Scorpius kept his cool, he, too, was confused by her actions, and he didn't seem to know what to say. When he did, though, her eyes shot to Albus, and she smirked. The daring look in her eye shone through, but her emerald orbs still laughed. Her eyebrows jumped teasingly and she brought a hand up to her jaw, her fingers fanned seductively around her mouth. "Don't worry," she said slowly, half joking, "there were no puckering Slytherins involved; just a bleeding Gryffindor." At the end of her sentence, one brow raised, and her gaze became a bit distant. For a moment, she wondered what had happened to James and his sister. Soon, though, she caught herself and returned to reality. You really need to get your mind off him. Her gaze landed on Albus and she smirk, a small plan forming in her head. He blushed and she supressed a giggle, finding it funny how easy it seemed to make him squirm.
“I-I was no such thing! You were the o-one who wondered if she was okay.” Before she had a chance to say anything, a tiny Gryffindor boy came running over to their table. In all truth, it spiked her curiosity, but she hid that fact well, looking at the kid with slitted eyes and a somewhat terrifying smirk. It made her look like she knew something he didn't, and was going to use it in the worst way possible; either that or she was plotting some sort of torture for him. Either way, it was pretty much a stereotypical scary Slytherin expression, and for a moment she was proud of it.
"Delilah and Hugo are having a race after the feast outside of Hogwarts. I was told to tell any Weasley. Pass this on to anyone trust worthy." His words just amped up the curiosity factor, and for a moment she allowed herself to get a little excited, even if it didn't show on her face. Then he ran away, how terrified he was plain on his face and in how quickly he got on out of there. At first she felt triumphant -after all, she was a Slytherin- but then she felt bad. Her excitement shot down, and she bit her lip. She just barely regained her guarded mask in time to look at the boys; Albus pulling Scorpius by the back of his shirt as they escaped the feast. A laugh almost escaped her, and she found herself wishing she could follow them. She couldn't, though, and she knew it; there was no doubt in her mind that she would be severely out of place. Besides, she had done enough damage to her social status today.
Sighing, she turned back to the food in front of her. Desert had popped up, and her mouth was watering. No, no, no. You do not need that. Kiki screamed at herself mentally, but physically she was reaching for a huge slice of strawberry cheesecake. She forced herself to take on small bite instead of shoveling handfuls into her mouth as her stomach seemed to be begging her to do, and closed her eyes, basking in the deliciousness that covered her taste buds. When it was gone, she stabbed the cheesecake, contemplating taking another bite. On the outside, she seemed to be completely calm and collected, if not slightly amused by Carly's bitter ranting. The girl seemed to be pretty ticked off about quite a few things, and Kiki figured she probably just lost at least one of her 'friends', but she didn't seem to mind. On the inside, she was full of panic; her mind was raging war on itself. Looking around the Great Hall, she took a deep breath. Maybe she was imagining it, but it looked like quite a crowd was missing; and in her mind, they were all outside breaking a million school rules and having the time of their lives. She was jealous.
That's when she gave up on herself. "Not that I wouldn't love to listen to you drone on for the rest of the night," she said in a smooth, almost monotone voice, "but, I've got better things to do." Just so no one suspected anything, she looked suggestively at an attractive sixth year sitting across from her and made sure to lean and twist just right as she got up, swaying her hips in a rather tempting manor. A smirk lit her face when she heard the hurried footsteps behind her, and she made her way outside. In a matter of seconds, she was pressed up against the wall outside, looking into the almost hungry looking eyes of yet another boy caught in her tricks with a smirk on her face, her whole body only inches from his. They both leaned in, but right before their lips touched, Kiki ducked away with a twinkling laugh. When she was a few feet away, she turned to see the poor boy standing their stunned, and left him with nothing more than a wink. There was no doubt in her mind that he would tell everyone he knew that a lot more happened, and she was happy with it. At least it meant no one would suspect what she was really doing.
Out of the corner of her eye, the Slytherin girl caught a glimpse of two familiar faces. That Allura was still dancing about to music no one else could hear, and she had been joined by none other than James Potter. He was applauding her, and the look in his eyes was no less than adoring from what Kiki could see. A small twinge of jealousy stabbed at her insides, and it felt like her internal organs just dropped down to a heavy lump in the bottom of her abdomen, but she hid it all very well. Nothing more than an amused smirk, a brief raise of one brow, and a small twinkle in her eye before she disappeared around the corner and out of sight.
Following the noise, she eventually arrived at the lake, and couldn't help but smile at the beauty of it. There was excitement buzzing through the air, people crowded around in one small area, the stars were shining brightly, and the whole scene was reflecting off the smooth surface of the lake. Looking around slightly nervous, she felt a bit out of place, like she was intruding and was about to be found out. Still, she wanted to be there, and didn't think anyone would notice her, let alone have the guts to point out her trespassing. So, she simply hung off, in the outskirts of the crowd, mostly hidden in shadow.
Louis pouted at Cam. He was both worried about her because she was still not feeling well, and disappointed with her because -despite the short amount of time that had elapsed- he had already been looking forward to going with her. He didn't know why, but he seemed to have latched himself onto her, and didn't much like how little time they'd been spending together since they met on the train.
"Well.." he finally sighed, turning to Rose. Though he wasn't happy about leaving Cam, he hadn't seen much of his family since he boarded the train, and he missed them. So, he was going; and by the looks of things, that meant he was going, as in now. Everyone seemed to be in quite a hurry to get out of the Great Hall, and since they hadn't been told where the race was happening, he figured it best that he follow. "We should probably get going, eh?" he said quietly to his cousin, sending an apologetic smile to Cameron as he stood, ditching the food he had been scarfing down hardly minutes priar.
Assuming Rose was right with him, the boy made his way outside, following the flashes of people that seemed to be going in the same general direction. He stopped when he saw James and some girl dancing around the grass, and almost laughed. "Hey," he called out to them, just barely loud enough to get their attention. "You guys comin'?" he asked, waiting a few seconds for an answer before continuing on towards the lake. The race would no doubt be starting soon, and he didn't want to miss it. Plus, he couldn't wait to see some more of his family.
