Hugo would have snapped back at Scorpious if it hadn't been for the look Albus gave him. Since Al was his cousin and friend he reframed from saying anything. Feeling the train stopping, Hugo patted both of the boys on their back "I'll catch the two of you later." With that he took off down the halls to his compartment. Lily and the others had already left, but that didn't bother him. Slipping into the compartment, Hugo quickly changed in to his uniform, leaving the comparment once he was decent and straightening his clothes, robes, and tie as he went to catch up with Lily. Once he reached them, he threw his arm around Lily's shoulders. "I see you didn't wait for me... Again." He said in mock hurt, but he couldn't hold the expression long before he started snickering. "It feels just great to be back," He exclaimed, throwing his arms into the air.

Dwight stood silently in the hall watching the passing students. One, a girl with long hair brown hair, stopped at stared at him for a few moments. Allura Mae, one of Gryffindors beaters. Dwight smiled at her as she continued on. "Your things are just there, hurry well be late." Dominique said, coming out of the compartment.

"I'll be fast," Dwight stated brightly, going into the compartment himself and quickly changing. Apparently she was going to wait for him. That was very nice of her and very lucky for him. He was rather enjoying being around her, and he couldn't have annoyed her to much if she was going to wait for him. It took him less than a minute to change, then he stored his books and clothes in his truck and exited the compartment. As he left the compartment, he looked around and quickly spotted Dominique. "Shall we be off then?" He asked cheerfully, walking up to Allura.

*Holli Alice Longbottom*

Holli had her arm linked in with Delilah. Now four of them were walking out of the train. Then they had just about got out when she heard some running. Who could that of been. Then they stopped because Hugo came along. Holli smiled. It must of been nice to have a bunch of cousins like that. Holli didn't have much family left. But she made the best of it. She now saw the entrance out of the train. All the first years were already out of the train. Holli remembered back when she was a first year. The first thing she had smiled at was seeing a bunch of kids.

Now as the kept getting closer Holli looked back at the four fourth years. It would be quite funny if they made a friend this year so when they got to fifth year it would be five fifth years. That would be cool if it had happened like that but she doubted it would happen. Holli stayed silent until the came across the door.

*Lysander Harry Scamander and Lily Luna Potter*

Lily was happy she was finally at Hogwarts. Soon enough quidditch would start and she would feel the rush she got when she was zooming around on her broom. She would also get her uniform again. Her yellow ones. They were cool. Her number was the number 2. She was the seeker on the team. She turned out to be like her dad. Which was a good thing but she was glad she had her mums looks.

Lily then smiled as Hugo came. She turned to Lilah. "See told you he would catch up" Lily smiled. The she turned to face Hugo as he linked his arm with hers. Right beside her on the other side was Lysander. Beside Lysander was Lilah and beside Lilah was Holli. "Well you know Hugo...you took too long laughing at your sister" She said smiling. Then they had exited the train.

Lysander pointed to a empty Carriage "We can go into that one" He pointed at it. Then he lead them over there but still kept the chain in linked arms. Once they got up to it he looked at Lily and an instant smile was on his face. "We are going to have to unlink the arms now Lils" That was the second time he had talked to Lily using a nickname.

Then as they unlinked he was smacked. "Ow, What was that for?" He asked rubbing his face making sure it was okay. Then he heard lily respond. "I don't like it when I am called by nicknames, With Hugo its okay but no one else except maybe James is allowed to call me by nicknames" She had told him. He sighed. "Well Lily I'm sorry I didn't know..I probably forgot from the last time you smacked me in second year" He said. Then he got in the carriage and then Lily followed after him.

Scorpius grumbled to himself as they quickly changed into their robes. He was mad at himself for acting like an idiot in front of Rose and Kiki. Well, he didn’t mind so much about Rose. He always acted like an idiot around Rose. It was Kiki who he felt stupid about. She was a fellow Slytherin and most of them already hated him.

“Hurry up, Scorp! I don’t want to miss the feast.” Both boys ran off the train and pushed passed everyone to make it onto a carriage. They hopped up into an empty one, matching grins on their faces. “Ah, we made it, mate. Finally home.”

Scorpius chuckled under his breath and brushed a strand of his blonde hair away from his face. “I agree. I’ve missed this place something horribly.” The two boys had bonded over many things throughout their years, but their love for Hogwarts was one of the main things. It was an escape from their homes and parents who expected so much. It was where they were truly themselves. It was, simply, home.

-----------------

Jacey stumbled a bit as Fred dragged her to a carriage. She gripped his larger hand tightly to as not loose him in the mess of people. They dodged the giggling first years that were lining up with Hagrid, their nervous giggles grating on her ears. Yeah, it was exciting to be going to Hogwarts for your first year, but did they have to be so damn shrill? She rolled her eyes.

Fred paused for a moment, his body tensing. She followed his gaze to the carriages and winced when she noticed the thestrals. Those skeleton horses had terrified her in second year when she’d first rode the carriages. Her Grandmother had died right in front of her very eyes the summer before second year and she’d practically broken down when she’d first glanced at the horses. Thankfully, a sixth year noticed and explained that they were harmless. Still, they were rather scary looking and caused her stomach to tie up in knots.

She was thankful when Fred hurried along, taking her away from those creatures. She laughed quietly when he spoke to the gaggle of first years. She turned to grin at Fred. “Actually, I’m not a Weasley.” She chuckled again. “This means you are wrong and therefore I am mightier then you.” Jacey twirled a curl around her small finger as a cocky expression spread across her face.

"Don't worry, mum explained about how you'd be able to see them, Fred. I'm glad I can't." Roxanne mumbled as she was pulled down onto a seat. "Jacey might be right..But I've sorta gotta disagree..Us girls are mightier then you, Fred." Rox giggled, ignoring the stares people gave her as they passed. "Being a Weasly..can be good or bad...but girls are just awesome.

James Sirius Potter

"I wasn't... a moment ago. But shit, that guy was creepy... conceited... and well... I bet he'd marry himself if he could. Well come on you, I don't want to be late to everything today, I'll drag you with me, kicking and screaming if need be." Allura answered him, stepping out of the compartment.

He rubbed the back of his neck and clenched his jaw. He did this when he was flustered, but didn't realize it. James knew exactly who she was talking about, Micah Elias. He just saw that conceited bastard too. It put him off a bit knowing him and Allura were in the same compartment together. Who knows what he said to her. James took comfort in the thought that she had similar thoughts of Micah, though. He shrugged it off and followed her to the door so they could finally exit the train.

"See? No kicking or screaming or dragging needed." He chuckled a bit and noticed that she looked a bit frozen, insecure maybe? She would have no reason to feel that way. She's beautiful, no make-up needed. He felt the urge to touch her face and comfort her, but knew that would be crossing the line. Once again, he shook away his thoughts.

"Allura, will I have to drag you out of here kicking and screaming?" He chuckled playfully and patted her shoulder. Keeping his hand on her shoulder he added, "Have I ever told you how pretty you are? Even without the make up?"

He smiled sincerely at her, but was interupted by a voice calling to Allura from behind. It was Dominique, one of his cousins. He turned to her and waved, "Hello there, cousin!"

James didn't bother to move his hand from Allura's shoulder. He felt comfortable, and she hadn't protested yet.

Delilah May Gerdes

She smiled at Hugo brightly when he re-appeared, and chuckled at Lily, Hugo, and Lysanders' friendly banter.

"Yeah, we certainly weren't going to sit on our bums while you laughed away at your sister. Oh! And by the way, Hugo, when are we having that race?" Lilah chuckled playfully and smirked mischeviously at him. The very mention of it sent her adrenaline pumping. She couldn't wait for not only the quidditch season, but to kick Hugo's butt at the race. She had been brushing up on her skills over the summer and had no doubt that she would win and show everybody that she has improved since last year. They would be quite surprised because last year she barely made the team. She wasn't very memorable. This year, she would leave her mark. There was no question about that. A wide smile spread across her face as the excitement surged through her.

Lysander pointed at an empty carriage and Lilah followed the group inside, waiting for Hugo to answer.

Allura Anne Mae

Allura mentally cursed herself for the statue in which she let herself become. She was going to be late, again, she sighed to herself. She didn't particularly like being last to anything because people saw you and were more prone to focusing their attention on you when you got there. "See? No kicking or screaming or dragging needed." Allura heard from behined. It was James, who was the last person she really wanted to see at the moment. Of course no kicking and screaming needed to get him near her, he was James Potter, and she was a female. Figures. "Allura, will I have to drag you out of here kicking and screaming?" he said, putting his hand on her shoulder. She turned to him abruptly narrowing her eyes a bit but then peeling them away. She didn't realize she was that obvious, this got under her skin a bit. "Have I ever told you how pretty you are? Even without the make up?" Allura was shocked, she wasn't sure what at. The fact that he said she was pretty without makeup, the fact he had said it to her, or the fact her bothered to say anything at all and seemed to read her mind some. She smiled a bit, more nervously than anything else, she really never had someone say something like that to her. She also wasn't sure how genuine it was. This made her think of Micah and his comment about her makeup and grinded her teeth for a moment.

She heard the name Dominique as she started to walk off the train and turned around. Dominique and the guy from earlier were heading off the train. "Hey." she said, not sounding particularly happy. "How's the boyfriend?" she said trying purposely to force a smile and sound sarcastic now. She winked at Dominique. Truely, she knew he wasn't her boyfriend, and that it was rude, but that made her smile inside. She walked towards the crowed of people, occasionally turning to see who was following her if anyone. "Slow pokes." she said under her breath. As she walked she saw who she swore was Micah, and narrowed her eyes. "Must be bored." she said out loud to herself. Right then, she immediately felt ugly, and on top of that, she felt incredibly bored. She played a song in her head and started humming to it, not really knowing she was doing so. She then started tapping her fingers on her hip to the beat in her head.

Dominique Ramona Weasley

Dominique nodded and followed Dwight to the front of the train. It was there, they came upon Allura and James. She was concerned about Allura, she was a shy one but didn't usually get so perplexed. She also wondered why James was anywhere near her. She glared at him. She had caught the makeup bit and rolled her eyes. After he said hello to her, she glare at him for a moment. "Hello, cousin of mine. Not enough women on your checklist?" she stare at him as if she were threatening him with her eyes. It was when Allura said something that she became flustered. "Hows the boyfriend?" she had asked. Not wanting to show she was embarresed she snapped back. "Amaazing, yours?" She grinned. "He's a fixer upper, but maybe he can be helped. She lay heavy emphasis on maybe. She headed out of the train and walked past James.

She looked around at the mobs of people, the lines, and the carriages. "Lets catch that one, right there." she pointed ahead of her.

----

Allura heard Dominique, and she wanted to pretend she hadn't however, her body immediately turned at the reply, she turned bright red.

Hugo smiled confidently at Delilah when Delilah asked him about their race. "We could have it tonight if your so eager for me to beat. What kind of broom do you fly anyways?" He didn't doubt he would beat Delilah. He was a very good seeker, very fast, and he had a very good broom. Lysander pointed at an empty carriage that they all went to. Hugo went up to the door to of the carriage and held out his arm in very gentlmanly yet playful manner to help the girls into the carriage. He couldn't wait to get up to the castle and the feast.

--------------------------------------------

"Sounds good," Dwight followed Dominique out to the carriage, letting her climb in first. If they had been closer he might have helped her get in, but he didn't feel that would be appropriate. Dwight couldn't resist looking up at the night sky. It was a beautiful night, perfectly clear with no moon. He could see thousands of stars twinkling in the sky. He instinctively started picking up out constellations and prominent stars, listing there names in his head. As he looked he spotted the dim light of a satellite drifting through Usra Major. He couldn't help but smile and wonder when, or even if he would ever be able to go up there himself. "So, I'm your boyfriend now?" He asked in a very joking manner.

*Holli Alice Longbottom*

Holli kept silent for the Carriage ride. She let the fourth years talk. It was not like she could talk with the boys that much really because what she wanted to talk about had to do with Quidditch and well she didn't want the little Gryffindor or Ravenclaw to know her plans. So she kept silent about it.

Holli watched mostly of what was going on while the carriage started to move after Hugo had gotten in. Holli knew for a fact that Lily and Hugo were cousins. She didn't know as much about them as Lysander though. But Lysander probably knew her parents and her past life. He knew what happened with a lot of the families. Or it was the fact he just guessed at it or something.

*Lysander Harry Scamander*

Lysander was sitting there smiling at his friends. But really he wasn't one to talk much at this moment. Lysander just opened the book he took with him and started to read it. But thoughts of what he would do when he got inside the castle had flowed into his mind. Should he do this? should he do that? It was all a big question to him

Then he watched as their Carriage was getting closer and closer to the school. Then the words popped out of his mouth. "I really can't wait it seems like were going in slow motion but we aren't" He said smiling then he just sat back in seat which was beside Lily. Across from him was Hugo then beside hugo was Lilah. Then Holli was sitting beside Lily. So they all had just fit in the carriage.

*Lily Luna Potter*

Lily was now excited she was trying so hard to sit still. She kept looking out the window seeing if she was there yet. "Why is it taking forever!, I want to watch your broom race" She added in as she turned to face Lilah and hugo. It was fun to see them try and bet on whos going to win. Really Lily had no clue.

Then about a few minutes later their carriage had stopped outside the gate where you went through to go up to the castle. The door opened and Lily was to excited to wait for Lysander to move so she climbed over him and rushed out. She had to go past the guard or what ever it was to make sure she was a student. So she got in through the gate then she walked a few steps then stepped off to the side waiting for all her friends. Well it depended on who came first. her friends or her brother.

Delilah May Gerdes

"We could have it tonight if your so eager for me to beat. What kind of broom do you fly anyways?" Hugo answered her before they got into the carriage, and it was in quite the cocky tone. He seemed sure he was going to win. Which, in turn, made Lilah even more excited to make him eat her dust.

She waited to reply until they all sat comfortably in the carriage. She blushed and giggled a bit at Hugo's silly politeness, then blushed even more when she realized they would be sitting together. Lilah looked across from her at Holli, Lily, and Lysander. Lysander was reading a book, Lily looked happy, and Holli just sat quietly.

She then turned to Hugo and said, "Don't be so sure of yourself, mister. I've been brushing up on my skills, and you'd be surprised how much I've improved. I ride a Silver Arrow, by the way. It may be old, but it was one of the fastest brooms of its time. And let me tell you, I've gotten it to go up to pretty unbelievably fast speeds. If there's a will, there's a way. So, if I were you, I'd be shakin' in my boots right now."

Lilah heard Lily chuckle in the background at them. This all was pretty amusing. Then Lysander closed his book and started to say how excited he was. This got Lily talking as well. The excitement rose as they got closer to Hogwarts.

James Sirius Potter

James noticed Allura smile a bit nervously and he started to blush. Well, that was a first. What has gotten into him? He turned around then to see his cousin, Dominique walk up to him with heat in her eyes. She was glaring right at him when she said, "Hello, cousin of mine. Not enough women on your checklist?"

He then took his hand off Allura's shoulder and put it in his pocket, defeated. This definitely was not helping the mood he was already in from people accusing him today. All he did was give her a genuine compliment. Was that so bad? However, he didn't want to be mean to Dominique so he looked her straight in the eyes somberly and mumbled, "Nice to see you too, cousin."

He noticed Dwight and waved at him slightly, trying to muster a smile. It probably came off half-heartedly because he didn't have much of his good mood left anymore. They joked about Dominique and Dwight being a couple, which made him chuckle a bit. Then Dominique asked Allura how her boyfriend was doing. Which made his heart stop for a moment before he realized she was talking about him, jokingly of course.

"He's a fixer upper, but maybe he can be helped." Dominique said.

James answered, "I'd say we're doing pretty great!, " He paused to laugh a bit, "She really is an amazing girl, and I'm not just saying that."

He watched as Allura turned red and chuckled slightly. This lifted his mood a bit, but not all that much. He still had no idea what Allura thought of him, and his cousin was still convinced he only had the worst intentions. Then, Dominique brushed right passed him and went along to talk with Allura. As they were walking towards a free carriage, James saw Micah in the distance and felt Allura go a bit tense. James put a protective hand on her shoulder, even though he was quite aware she could take care of herself. He stared daggers into Micah's back then kept following the two girls. Once Micah was out of sight, James retreated his hand from Allura's shoulder. They finally reached the carriage. Dwight and Dominique were already inside. James debated on whether to help Allura up or not, seeing as the last time he tried to help her up he was completely rejected. He decided to give it a go anyways because he has known her for quite awhile. It wouldn't be weird at all if he did.

He stepped into the carriage and put his hand out to her, " I know you're perfectly capable of getting up yourself, but I thought I'd give it another try." He smiled because he knew Allura would know what he was referring to: His utter failure at his attempt to help her when she tripped outside of his compartment earlier.

Kiki's smirk was reinforced with a daring look in her eyes when her name reached her ears. The mood she had been put in whilst on the train was brushed aside, and she returned to the girl she showed the public world. "Hello Kiki, did you enjoy the train ride?" Micah wasn't someone Kiki spoke to much, despite his reputation of telling outrageous lies -just like her. When she thought about it, the two of them seemed to have a lot in common, so she wasn't sure why they hadn't spent much time together. Mentally shrugging it off, she barely turned her head to look at him, without changing her pace.

"Well," she started, eyeing a few empty carriages. The skeleton horses had never been invisible to her, but they still sent shivers up her spine, even though she knew they were completely harmless. "I sat with two Weasley decendants and a Malfoy." How much she really enjoyed the train ride was pushed to the back of her mind, hidden far behind her mask. "Needless to say, it was..." with her pause, she tilted her head, as if she wasn't able to think of a word to describe it. In reality, there were quite a few adjectives flowing through her mind- she just wasn't sure which one to say. "interesting."

Hopping into an empty carriage, she sent an inviting look his way, though it was gone in a mere moment, the smirk still in place. The pure excitement buzzing through her veins didn't show on her face, but she would be only half surprised if she suddely squealed and ran faster than any of the carriages up to the castle. She could hardly wait to walk in the Great Hall, full of familiar faces and first years, with an artificial ceiling and floating candles. Thinking of the feast made her stomach feel abnormally empty, but she knew she couldn't let herself eat as much as she wanted to- it wouldn't do well for her to lose her figure, and she didn't have enough time to work it off.

Louis smiled brightly at Cam, and nodded when she mentioned getting a carriage. His stomach growled louder than he spoke- the boy could hardly wait for the feast to start. Curiousity poked at him as he wondered how many first years would be joining him in Ravenclaw; momentarily, he wondered what house the first years on the train would be sorted into. When he remembered their reactions towards his presence, though, he shook the thought from his mind.

Crawling into a carriage after his cousin and -hopefully- new friend, he noticed Rose leaning out and staring behind them. At first he raised a half confused, half curious brow, but them he fingured she must be looking for Albus and Scorpius. They were, after all, the people she spent the most time with, and everyone knew she had a huge crush on Scorpius, even if she wouldn't willingly admit it. An amused smile crossed the boy's face as he pictured his cousin waltzing right up to the Slytherin table and planting herself right between the two boys.

The faces on his imaginary Slytherins' faces, along with the Ravenclaws', were absolutely comical. Letting out a soft chuckle at the images in his mind, he returned to reality just soon enough to hear his cousin say something about missing the ceiling. He smiled, "I can't wait for the feast-" His stomach rumbled yet again. "-and neither can my stomach." He laughed with his cousin, trying to remember the last time he really looked at the ceiling at Hogwarts.

Then Rose said something that really made him think. "This is going to be the best year yet. I can tell!" Louis looked at Cam and gave a sweet half smile. After a moment, he nodded in agreement- it very well might be the best year yet. Though his eyes were still on Cam, it was obvious that the boy was no longer in the carriage with them- mentally, that is. His mind wandered off towards the castle and the future, as he imagined all the exciting, strange, amusing, sad, terrifying, happy things that would happen throughout the year. He highly doubted any of it would happen quite like he imagined -if at all- but that didn't stop him from imagining, wondering.

Rose Weasley

Rose nodded at the feast comment. She actually hadn't thought about food until that moment and right then her stomach swiftly kicked her in the gut, screaming out for patronage. Rose must've been too busy to notice that she was horribly hungry right then. She imagined herself scarfing down the whole table, as if to make up for not having swallowed anything more than spit the whole day. 'Man, this always happens when I return to Hogwarts.' she thought. With so much to do and look forward to, it had slipped her mind every year. She hadn't even paid visit to the candy on the train. 'Why hadn't I noticed?!' she scolded herself. Candy was her favorite. 'Maybe it was during the smoke bomb...?' She clicked her teeth with dissatisfaction, wishing she would have noticed. She sighed as her tummy hollered internally in protest, fluttering a graceful hand onto her abdomen to feel the grumbling.

"That's too true. I am rather excited for the feast." she agreed distantly, as if she were speaking to the invisible horses. She was much too riddled in her thoughts to pay attention to Louis making eyes at Cameron like that, or to see the little spark t hat had flashed between them. Had she have, she probably would have said something like "Why're you guys staring at each other?" in innocent curiosity, making things as awkward as humanly possible without even trying. She had a knack with saying ignorant observations aloud, flustering everyone in the room. While Rose was very smart, she didn't have much common sense or an ability to read other's. She could make someone happily very easily, but it was hardly on purpose. Usually what made them happy was that she was so oblivious to their distraught that she didn't comment on it, which must have been relieving to the other person because we all know that when we're upset, we hardly want to share it to the world. She served as a good distraction, or so to speak. All of that might explain why she'd gone through five years of friendship with Scorpius and never having noticed his affection for her.

Micah Elias

Micah eyed the beautiful girl skeptically, trying to see if she was fibbing or not. He continued staring for a moment before finally joining her in the compartment lead by the ghastly thestrals. Micah could see them, but he would never admit to anyone that he could, let alone why. However, he still couldn't help but reach a gaze out to them as he sat. They were such misunderstood creatures. They were so disliked by wizards simply because of their unfortunate situation. They were seen as an omen due to the fact that only those who've seen death could see them, but Micah couldn't wrap his head around that notion. They were so gentle that he couldn't envision them as signs of misfortune or aggression (as it is told in books and school). They were just different, and rather ugly, he reckoned. Out of all the animals, he didn't like many... but thestrals had always hit somewhat of a soft spot with him.

He turned back to Kiki rather abruptly, remembering that he'd forgotten to put his barricade up and had let the girl get a glimpse at what he was truly thinking. Though he kept his face as hard as ever, if one paid enough attention, they'd notice a very dull blush crept across his cheeks. That was similar to being caught naked to Micah, only slightly more embarrassing. He changed to subject to make up for the moment. "That sounds very... interesting. I'm assuming you mean that gangly trio of fifth years that always run a mock together? I never understood why that Malfoy character hung out with people so different from him. Here he could be associating with classy Slytherins like himself- who all no doubtably share more in common with him than what a Weasley and a Potter do. It all just seems very peculiar to me." he noted absent mindedly, really just talking to hear himself talk.

Fred Weasley

Fred laughed as Jacey told him, "Actually, I’m not a Weasley. This means you are wrong and therefore I am mightier then you." and then held his hands up in mock-despair as Roxanne added, "Jacey might be right..But I've sorta gotta disagree..Us girls are mightier then you, Fred. Being a Weasley..can be good or bad...but girls are just awesome."

"Woah, woah, woah! Don't you think that's a bit harsh? Yeah, sure, everyone gang up on poor little Fred." He grinned teasingly, showing the girls that he was only joking. "In the meanwhile, yes, I'll admit that both of you are more awesome than me." He had found that it was generally a good idea to simply agree with whatever these two girls claimed to be true.

In the meanwhile, the carriage that they were sitting in drew up to the Hogwarts entrance. It had, after all, been near the front of the procession, and there were more students than seats. Therefore, the thestral-drawn wagons left to take students to Hogwarts as soon as they reached capacity. Getting ouot, Fred held out his arm for the girls and the first-years to lean upon. Once everyone was out, they all headed to the Great Hall.

That was when Fred realized that the younger students must not have been first-years, since they had taken the carriages to school. He almost slapped his forehead, feeling dumb. But at least he and his two friends got the choice seats at the Gryffindor table as they waited for the first-years to be sorted.

Cameron Finnigan

Cam mostly tuned out the other two as the cart made its way to the Great Hall. After looking at the rapidly passing shrubbery and trying to understand once more why exactly the steeds that pulled the cart weren't visible, she glanced at Louis, then at Rose, then at Louis again.

He was awfully cute.

By the time they made it to the castle, Cam was also extremely hungry. She wanted, more than anything, to have a nice warm meal and a cozy bed to sleep in. Getting out of the carriage, she led her friends (who were hopefully right behind her) into the grand room, where floating candles lit the tables, covered in gleaming plates that would soon be filled with food.

*Lysander Harry Scamander*

Lysander was waiting for the carriage to stop. To his surprise Lily was excited so she went ahead and she climbed over his lap. He was about to grab her and pull her back in but she was pretty fast. He guessed it was from running away from James the odd few times. So Lysander just chuckled then got out of the carriage not sure if Lily was inside the gates of hogwarts yet. So he waited outside of the carriage for the others to get out.

Lysander maybe waited about two minutes then got the feeling that he should leave. So he walked through the gates and they made sure he was a student. Then he was caught in the current of all the students. He was trying to spot where Lily was but it was no use to where she was. The crowd of students moved too fast and some of them were tall so it was hard to see over their heads then he saw her over on the side area probably waiting for all of them to get there.

He was going to give up and just go inside the castle but then someone pulled him out of the crowd. To his surprise it was Lily. He smiled. "Uh..thanks, Those crowds of kids can really get you moving" He said smiling a little. Then they stood at the side for a few moments until the others came. "Why don't we just go to the great hall together?" He asked. He knew Hugo and Lilah could just walk together so it wouldn't be a bad idea.

*Holli Alice Longbottom*

Holli was just sitting there. She watched all of everything pass by. Everyone was pretty much saying that this year was going to be the best year. It might be it might not be she didn't really know. She hoped so. Nothing went right for her. She had a good life in many ways yes but in others like going to hogwarts ..no. Holli was not popular people only knew her because she was the captain of the quidditch team. Even her father was more popular then her. He at least proved him self and now she was just well she was just Holli and child that made things blow up from time to time and had plenty mistakes.

But of course she was use to it. Just as her train of thoughts stopped she had noticed the carriage had stopped. Then Lily had climbed over Lysanders lap and ran out the carriage. Shortly after Lysander had followed. Holli sighed and then she walked out of the carriage and did the same thing she always did when she got here since second year. Now she was in the flow of the crowd and she was heading to the great hall. After inside the castle she walked in and went over to her table in the great hall.

She sat at her table of all the hufflepuffs. She saved Lilah and Lily seats beside her. Well two on her right side so they could sit. Now she just waited for the others to file in and for this to start. Soon the first years would be sorted into their house. Holli remembered when she was sorted into Hufflepuff back five years ago.

*Lily Luna Potter*

Lily had been waiting outside. She was waiting by the little side area so she wouldn't be caught in the group of the crowd. Lily then was looking to find any of her friends. It was very easy to get caught in the crowd. As soon as Lily had the chance she would bug her brother about being rejected by the same girl twice. Of course there would be no harm done because James was use to being rejected so many times.

Then Lily had spotted Lysander and pulled him out of the crowd. They had smiled at each other for awhile then Lysander had said thanks and explained his little thing of getting stuck with all the moving students. lily just nodded. "It's alright Lysander..I understand" Then they stood there for a few minytes in silence. Until Lysadner suggested they just go to the great hall together. Lily smiled at him. "Sure we can do that" Then they linked arms and walked up to the school with the crowd of people.

After about a few minutes they had finished climbing the stairs and Lily stopped in her tracks. Lysander had looked at her with a questioning expression. Lily smiled. "I want to talk to James..you go ahead, I will talk to you later" She said smiling. Then watched as Lysander left then she waited at the top of the stairs for James like she did almost every year.

Allura Anne Mae

Allura had heard James come from behined her, but when he put his hand on her shoulder she felt a bit puzzled. What's his deal anyways? She thought, stopping her finger tapping and losing the song in her head. Her attention from mister jackass then shifted its way to James. She wondered what went through his head. Maybe he just constantly had females going through his head, new females he could be with, old ones. She mentally sighed. She looked at him for a moment, she never really thought him a bad person however, just not one she particularly trusted. Not much at least, she was forced to during quidditch, he was good so she didn't mind it.

She watched as Dominique and Dwight got into the carriage, followed by James. After he got in he then offered a hand to her. She raised an eyebrow at him. He had mentioned he knew she could handle herself, which was why she didn't understand why he did it at all. "I'm fine, really." she said, playfully sticking her tongue out at him. She refused his hand and got into the carriage. It seemed a little cramped, or maybe it was just awkward. She was going to make it a point to bug Dominique, at some time or another. She turned towards James, that goofy bored look on her face. "So...what's with all the generosity all of a sudden?" she then slumped down into her seat slightly tired. Normally, she would have fallen asleep against the wall of the carriage, but that was never comfortable. She shook her leg for a while, until she hadn't anymore energy to do so, eventually she closed her eyes, her hair falling into her face, she drifted off. Slowly as she difted off, she slid to the side landing inevitably on Jame's shoulder.

Dominique Romona Weasley

Dominique had notice Dwight looking at the stars. She had never truely appreciated them, but as she looked out as well she saw they truely were beautiful. The night sky itself was beautiful. But she was interrupted but him himself. "So I'm your boyfriend now?" he asked jokingly. However, this made her tense. She sat up straight as a post, pale as could be. "Don't be silly, we were just kidding." Because he had mentioned however, as soon as she looked at him she turned bright red.

Her attention however then fell on Allura, she was slumped over, asleep, on none other than James. She almost wanted to grab her wand and force the two of them apart. But Allura's angelic sleeping stopped her from doing so. She glared at James for a moment then started a forced conversation with Dwight. "What intrigues you most about the stars?"

Albus followed Scorpius’ long, purposeful strides into the great hall. Scorpius had his head raised high and his stride was confidant like he owned the world. Albus was completely opposite with his slouched posture and green eyes focused on his feet. Scorp told him time and time again that the only way to fight the bullies of the Slytherin house was to be confidant and bold. Course, Albus didn’t want to risk confrontation and simply kept himself out of view.

They took their seats on the farthest end of the table, trying to steer clear of the others. A pretty Slytherin fifth year girl came flouncing up to the pair, a disgustingly sweet smile on her face. She bit her lip as she smiled over at Scorpius, ignoring Albus completely. He was used to it, though. The Slytherins either mocked or ignored him.

“Hey there, Scorpius. So I was thinking, the first Hogsmeade day you and I should go together.” She fluttered her eyelashes at him as he shifted in his seat. Albus had to hold in his laughter as she continued to look at him like he was something to eat. “What do you say?”

The blonde Slytherin blinked as he ran a hand through his hair. “Oh, erm, I would, Kira, but I, erm-” He hurried for an excuse. His mind had gone blank the moment the girl had come up. Not because he was into her, but because he felt nauseous at the idea of dating a girl like her.

Al piped in, “He has plans with Rose Weasley.” Scorpius blushed a bright red as Kira took a step back from the pair. It wasn’t exactly a lie; Scorpius did have plans with Rose, but those plans included Albus. Al had made it sound as though Rose and him were… He blushed further.

Kira scowled over at Albus before turning back to Scorpius. Her sweet act was immediately back on as she gave him a sly look. “Well, alright then. But remember my door is always open.” She winked and turned on her heel.

Albus pretended to gag as Scorpius punched him in the shoulder. “What do I do if word gets around to Rosie?” His eyes were slightly worried but he still managed to look perfectly calm.

“Then you ask her out like you’ve been wanting to do since first year.” He muttered under his breath. Sure, it’d be weird to be the third wheel but he wanted his cousin and best friend happy. They were all he really had in the world for friends and he loved them more than possible.

**********************

Jacey clutched Fred’s hand, dragging him to a seat at the Gryffindor table, close enough so she could watch the itty-bitty first years get sorted. She remembered her sorting and how terrified she had been. Her father had told her that they made you fight a snake because they were disgusting and evil (Which she realized was an attempt to scare her away from the Slytherins, the biased fool. She had a few Slytherin friends that weren’t half bad).

She brushed a curly strand of hair away from her eyes as they sat down. “So. What do you have in your bag of tricks, Freddie? Or are you going to be a good boy and respect a time honoured tradition?” Jacey challenged with a smirk. She leaned closer to him, eyes shinning. “Come on, start the year off with a bang.” She giggled lightly as she remembered the train and firecracker. “Well, another bang.”

"A Shooting Star," Hugo laughed loudly, "Come one, surely you can find a better broom than that." Hugo honestly didn't know much about those brooms other that they were old and had been pretty decent way back when. "I just hope it isn't reduced to splinters trying to keep up with my Nimbus." While no longer top of the line, the Nimbus 2005 was an incredibly excellent broom. Hugo personally thought they were on par with the Firebolt.

Before the carriage even stopped Lily was crawling out. She had always loved Hogwarts more than him, and he loved it quite a bit himself. Lysander waited until the carriage stopped before getting out. "Come on," Hugo said excitedly, grabbing Delilah's arm and practically dragging her out of the carriage as if they were old friends. Hugo befriended people really easily, and it didn't take long for him to consider you a good friend. "I don't know what it's like at the Hufflepuff table, but I want to get a good seat at the Gryffindor." He continued to drag her up the stairs into the great hall. "I figure we can meet back here shortly after the deast for our race. We've got to be careful though, and make sure no one catches us." All students were supposed to be in bed after the feast, so doing the race after it just made it all the more exciting.

-------------------------------------------------------

Dwight couldn't help but laugh at Dominique's reaction to him teasing her about being her boyfriend. "I was only joking." Spotting the Andromeda Galaxy, Dwight smiled broadly and got in the carriage. He always loved being able to see it, the farthest thing visible to the human eye. Dwight sat there next tto Dominique, still watching the sky as the carriage started to move.

"What intrigues you most about the stars?" Dominique's question caught him by complete suprise. Dwight frowned, thinking for a few seconds, before turning to face her.

"Everything I guess. They're just so beautiful, so seemingly eternal and unchanging, yet always in motion. I especially love looking at the deep space stuff, like Galaxies and Nebulae. I guess most of all it's just so peaceful and serene. It kind of puts things into perspective." Dwight turned and looked back at the stars. A shooting star flashed across the sky, bringing a smile back to his face. "I wasn't completely honest with you back on the train Dominque. About what I wanted to do after Hogwarts. The thing I want to be most is an astronaut."

Delilah May Gerdes

"A Silver Arrow," Hugo laughed loudly, "Come one, surely you can find a better broom than that. I just hope it isn't reduced to splinters trying to keep up with my Nimbus."

Delilah shook her head, "Tsk-tsk-tsk, never doubt the skill of the Silver Arrow, " She paused and poked him on the nose, "You will regret it." She laughed a bit as she knew that her broom wasn't bad at all. She could get it up to speeds just as fast as the Nimbus, maybe even faster.

Lilah chuckled at Lily's rapid escape from the carriage. It made excitement surge through her veins even more. Lysander followed shortly after, leaving her and Hugo alone. This made her a bit nervous, but she brushed the feeling away.

Suddenly Hugo grabbed her arm and they were running towards the castle, "Come on." He said with excitement. "I don't know what it's like at the Hufflepuff table, but I want to get a good seat at the Gryffindor." He continued, "I figure we can meet back here shortly after the deast for our race. We've got to be careful though, and make sure no one catches us."

Lilah laughed as he dragged her along the path to the Great Hall, passing everyone up. She couldn't stop smiling. She was happy to know that Hugo, or Lily and Lysander for that matter, already considered her their friend.

She answered him, half laughing, "Yes, I would like to get a good seat too. I'm sure either Holli or Lily is saving a seat or two." She paused and smirked confidently, "Alright, tonight after the feast sounds wonderful. Be prepared to eat my dust, sir."

Right then, they had arrived at the Great Hall. She chuckled a bit and ruffled Hugo's soft hair, then ran off to the Hufflepuff table, smiling the whole way. She spotted Holli with two saved seats and plopped down beside her.

Lilah smiled at her and said, "Thanks for saving us seats, I tihnk I saw Lily waiting by the stairs for James. Hopefully she'll be here shortly."

Lilah's stomache was growling loudly now, and she couldn't wait for the feast to start. She turned to Holli and said, "I can't wait for this year's quidditch season! I'm going to show everyone how much I've improved, and I'm going to make a mark!" She had a determined gleam in her eye as she awaited Holli's answer.

James Sirius Potter

He awaited Allura to answer with his hand still in mid-air. Finally she said, "I'm fine, really.", and playfully suck her tongue out at him.

James laughed a bit to himself as he sat down across from Dwight, and watched Allura get in by herself. Dwight and Dominique were star gazing and chatting amongst themselves. The stars put him at peace, he liked to look at them when he was upset.

Allura turned towards James, that goofy bored look on her face. "So... what's with all the generosity all of a sudden?"

He smiled sincerely and answered, "No reason really..." He paused and thought for a moment, "Just feeling generous. People often critisize me for my reputation, including my cousin over here, and I'm trying to turn over a new leaf. Lets just say it's for a girl."

James finished and realized Allura had dozed off, and her head had gently fell upon his shoulder. He smiled to himself. She looked so peaceful. He was just about to move the hair out of her face when his cousin glared at him intensely. No doubt she was protective of her friend. He smirked at Dominique and moved the hair from Allura's face to behind her ear softly. He then looked down and fidgeted with his fingers the rest of the way.

He just got here and everybody was on his case. Had he really been so much a jerk this whole time? It couldn't of been that bad, could it? Whatever the case, he was ready for a change. He was sick of the glares, sick of the insults, sick of the jokes, and most of all sick of people assuming he is a bad person. He really isn't. It's like he lost everybodys' trust as his reputation spread.

The carriage had slowed to a stop and James looked to Allura, "Time to get up sleepyhead." He shook her a little bit and waited for her to awake. James then thought about Lily, she would no doubt be waiting for him by the stairs like every other year. He should hurry up and get to her.

He looked to Dominique and said, "I have to catch up with Lily, can you tell Allura that I'll see her in the Great Hall? Please cousin, please?"

He gently leaned Allura against the carraige wall, and whispered in her ear so Dominique couldn't hear, "I'll see you at the Gryffindor table."

James got up quietly and waved goodbye as he hopped out of the carriage and strolled inside. He walked right passed all the other people and went straight to the stairs. He spotted Lily in the distance and shouted to her.

He walked up to her and said, "Hello Lils, how was your ride? You look quite happy." He flicked her ear and chuckled, giving her a half smile. His dearest sister would no doubt cheer him up a bit.

*Lily Luna Potter*

Lily had been at the top of the stairs. She could see out to where the carriages were. She watched as some of the last carriages came. She knew James had to be in at least one of them. She had watched Hugo and Lilah go into the school talking about brooms. Lily honestly had no clue who would win. She knew how well both of them flew and well she just didn't know who would turn out to be faster then the other.

Lily then stood thinking of the first thing she would do at this school. Like every year she had no clue what she wanted to do first. She loved to watch the first years be sorted it was so much fun. Some had looked scared of the hat a few times.

Lily remembered when James was teasing her about the hat on her first year. Her brother James said that if that hat didn't like you it killed you. Of course Lily had believed that. So she was scared the hat wouldn't like her. Just as she had James on the mind he came up the stairs towards her.

"Hello Lils, how was your ride? You look quite happy." James had said to her then flicked her ear. Then that half smile. Lily trusted James and she went to him for help. Unlike most people she didn't give him glares she just teased him.

Her hand went to ear. "Ow..that hurt" She said smiling lightly. "My carriage ride was just fine, I am very happy" She said. Then she looked up at him. "So I hear you were rejected hm twice? or was it three times? by the same girl" Lily asked smiling. "Did she happen to actually talk to you or did she give you glares like the others? ooh! or did she slap you?" Lily asked only teasing her older brother.

*Holli Alice Longbottom*

Holli had been gazing up at the stars she was so found of them. Then she had almost fallen back in her chair. Her eyes grew wide. Well she almost fell off the bench. It wasn't really a chair. The tables were like picnic tables. Then she had noticed her father was waving at her. She smiled at her father and waved at him.

Then her attention was brought to Lilah. As she sat down.

Thanks for saving us seats, I tihnk I saw Lily waiting by the stairs for James. Hopefully she'll be hear shortly." Lilah had said. Holli knew that Lily always waited for James. They would talk to each other and then they would walk in together almost every year was like that. "Yes I know..I do imagine they will enter in about two minutes tops" Holli said smiling.

Then she watched all the first years shift in their seats at the front as a few kids would eye them and whisper if that could would be in their house or not. Then Lilah had said. "I can't wait for this year's quidditch season! I'm going to show everyone how much I've improved, and I'm going to make a mark!" Holli smiled. "This year will be our best year. I want to win that cup before my years here at Hogwarts are over..which we have this year and next year to do, No matter how good are team is we are still good as an single person..oh and if we don't win the cup before I leave I want you and Lily to try and get it for me..I can trust you guys" Holli had said.

*Lysander Harry Scamander*

Lysander had been sitting at his table he sat near the front so he could watch all the little first years. He was looking at each one thinking of which one would be in which house. He had predicted at least five Hufflepuffs, six Gryffindors, three Slytherins and four Ravenclaws. That was what he predicted. Now all that was left to do was sit and watch as it played out.

Lysander hadn't seen Lily come in. Just as he thought that he saw Lilah and Hugo come in. That was good that they had finally been able to get out of the carriage. He knew in a matter of minutes Lily would be in the great hall with her oldest brother James. Lysander started thinking about quidditch. He was thinking of playing in his fifth year but for this year he would just stay with his studies.

James Sirius Potter

He loved his little sister dearly, and was looking forward to meeting up with her. That's why he left the carriage so hastily. She always had a glow around her that would cheer anyone up. She's just so contagious. Sure, they had their fun and games. Like on the train for example. Things like that have been happening since they were little kids... His little reverie was then interupted by Lily's answer.

"My carriage ride was just fine, I am very happy." She answered James, then looked up at him, "So I hear you were rejected hmm twice, or was it three times? By the same girl?" Lily asked smiling, "Did she happen to actually talk to you, or did she give you glares like the others? Ooh! Or did she slap you?"

Surely, Lily meant no harm, but James was disappointed that she made no effort to help him cheer up a bit. Instead, she critisized him like everyone else. His brain was reeling and in that moment he got really upset.

James frowned at Lily, his eyes looked dead serious, "Wow, Lily, I thought maybe would help me out. However, you are just like the rest of them: Critisizing me, insulting me. I can't believe you! Why in the bloody hell... " His fists were balled up now, "Would you say such a thing?! I've never ever hurt you like you've just hurt me. You don't understand how horrible it makes me feel that my sister, of all people, would tease me about this. I thought you would understand." James' voice was rising, "I thought we were closer than that. I sincerely thought that, maybe just maybe, my dearest little sister would be by my side. Oh! But look at that! You're really not! You know, I was just thinking about our brother-sister relationship as a whole and how wonderful it was, but you ruined it. It's your fault." He pointed at her accusingly with that last sentence.

James put his arm back down by his side and took low-angry breaths. His fists were still balled up in furry and he was shaking. He was on the verge of tears, but he would never let that happen. Not here. James looked down at his sister still, glaring and waiting for an answer.

Delilah May Gerdes

"This year will be our best year. I want to win that cup before my years here at Hogwarts are over... which we have this year and next year to do. No matter how good are team is, we are still good as an single person... oh and if we don't win the cup before I leave, I want you and Lily to try and get it for me. I can trust you guys." Holli smiled at her.

Lilah's insides filled up with joy and she couldn't help but giggle in excitement. This would no doubt be an amazing year. She was determined to win the cup as well, just as determined as Holli. It also made her proud that Holli trusted her. Her very own team captain trusted her. Lilah would not let her down.

"I'm very happy that you trust us to win the cup after you leave, but don't worry about it because we will win the cup before you leave. We'll take down Ravenclaw in an instant, then beat Gryffindor and Slytherin to a pulp. They won't know what hit them. This year will be the year, Holli, I just know it." She smiled at her brightly.

Then, out of the corner of her eye, Lilah saw a comotion outside by the stairs. People were gathered around and whispering. If she remembered correctly, Lily had been standing in that spot. Lilah wondered what in the world could've happened. She glanced around at everybody. Some people seemed to notice as well, and got up to check it out. Uh-oh.

"Holli, I think something's wrong with Lily. Look over there, " She pointed at the doorway, "People are gathering where she was standing. We should go check it out. Leave our stuff here so our seats aren't taken."

Delilah looked back over her shoulder nervously. She was truely worried about Lily, and really wanted to see if she was okay.

*Holli Alice Longbottom*

Holli smiled at Lilah and waited to see what she would have to say. Holli trusted all the players on her team actually. None of them had been older then her. She was the oldest. Hence why she's team captain. So they had no seventh years on their team.

"I'm very happy that you trust us to win the cup after you leave, but don't worry about it because we will win the cup before you leave. We'll take down Ravenclaw in an instant, then beat Gryffindor and Slytherin to a pulp. They won't know what hit them. This year will be the year, Holli, I just know it." Lilah had said smiling brightly.

Holli looked at Lilah and smiled. "Well this year really will be amazing!, That cup should be ours we have never actually gotten the cup but hopefully we get it soon" Holli said smiling. She knew this must be her best. Then she stared to go off in a train of thought and was only pulled back by Lilah saying something.

"Holli, I think something's wrong with Lily. Look over there, " Lilah pointed at the doorway, "People are gathering where she was standing. We should go check it out. Leave our stuff here so our seats aren't taken."

Holli got up and left her things there. "You sure that's where Lily was standing?" Then Holli walked out of the great hall. She saw it was Lily. But what surprised her most it was something between James and Lily. But they never ever had a fight. Was this a fight or did someone upset Lily? Holli couldn't see James well enough to know.

*Lily Luna Potter*

Lily looked up at her brother. She was about to ask him if he was going to speak but then she quickly shut her mouth seeing as she knew he was going to speak. So she stood there waiting to see what he was going to say.

"Wow, Lily, I thought maybe you would help me out. However, you are just like the rest of them: Critisizing me, insulting me. I can't believe you! Why in the bloody hell... " What James had said right there had hurt Lily, She could tell if more was said she would start to cry. "J-J-James...I-" She was cut off because he started to talk more.

"Would you say such a thing?! I've never ever hurt you like you've just hurt me. You don't understand how horrible it makes me feel that my sister, of all people, would tease me about this. I thought you would understand." James was getting more mad and that just made Lily more sad. "B-b-but James" She had no room to talk he kept speaking and ignoring her words.

Then came the last of what he had to say. "I thought we were closer than that. I sincerely thought that, maybe just maybe, my dearest little sister would be by my side. Oh! But look at that! You're really not! You know, I was just thinking about our brother-sister relationship as a whole and how wonderful it was, but you ruined it. It's your fault." After this being said and the last of it being accusingly. The "Your" Part was made to stand out. This last part being said hurt Lily.

"I was only joking!" Lily was sad but to hide her hurt and sadness she yelled. But then she had calmed down. "I never insulted you..you know I was only joking" She saw his glaring. "I never said you were horrible or anything only ever said nice things about you others said different..I never did. I thought you were the best brother out there..but your just a jerk" After saying the last bit in almost a whisper the tears had finally started coming out.

Lily then ran into the school pushing past people. She didn't run to the great hall though. She ran into the bathroom where her brother wasn't aloud to go in. So her brother couldn't hurt her anymore then she was. Lily sat on the floor all the way down near the last stall. She pulled her knees up to her chest she wrapped her arms around her knees then she put her head down on her knees and started to cry.
