Rose Weasley shook in her boots with anticipation as she and her large family all congregated in one large mass on Platform 9 & 3/4. "Well, not literally." She mentally corrected herself. "I'm not wearing boots, nor am I actually shaking..." Still, if one were to examine her hands closely, they'd surely notice how she just couldn't seem to keep them still. They pattered and tapped and wiggled with her utter desire to get back to Hogwarts. It was the beacon of light at the end of her tunnel this entire Summer and after waiting so long, it was no surprise that she was just dying to hop aboard her favorite train and be on her way.

She was so excited, in fact, that the pounding in her ears did a good job at blocking out her chatty family. Was she really listening to Hugo's anecdote about his experience with an "owl gone bonkers"? No. Was she truly aware that her mum had been explaining to her the rules of Hogwarts for the 30th time that day? No. Did she actually care that her more trouble-making cousins were off instigating not very far away? Not one bit. But did she smile, nod her head, laugh at the appropriate times, and add in a few "I totally agree"s? Absolutely. This was an odd moment for Rose, considering that in normal occasions, she'd be the one gabbing her mouth off, a nonstop flow of chatter leaking from her pink lips. However, this wasn't a normal occasion.

Suddenly a thought slammed into as if she'd jumped onto the tracks and had been toppled over by the speeding train. She turned to Albus, eyes bright. "Hey, Al, do you think Scorpius has been studying for his O.W.L.s already?" she inquired, grabbing hold of his sleeve just for the sake of feeling more connected to him. Rose certainly hoped the blond hadn't. She was determined to get better scores than her rival/bestfriend at all costs, and it really wouldn't do if he'd spent all his time stuffed away and studying. Rose personally had been much too busy running around and having fun to dedicate herself to preparing herself, despite her mother's constant nagging. Her eyes glazed with their usual fiery determination she got when she thought about that infuriating boy.

Before waiting for a response, she continued, her first question having been more rhetoric than anything else. "Ooo, Al, I can hardly wait!" she squealed joyously, practically hoping up and down. Sheer excitement coated her face, pep practically oozing out of every orifice of her body. She let out a final contended sigh, noticing that her prancing had flustered Pig. Yes, that's right. The same Pigwidgeon that had accompanied Ron to Hogwarts was now passed down to Rose. She personally was ecstatic, though no one else seemed to share her enthusiasm. The matter of the fact was, Pig was an old, grumpy, fat fart now. And, though she wouldn't admit it, Hermione was terrified that the old bird was going to drop dead sooner than later.

Lily Potter was part of a huge family. Only because of her mothers side. Lily ended up with at least 10 cousins max. That she can think of. She was lucky you would say to have lots of aunts and uncles. With those aunts and uncles came the cousins. Lily being about one of the youngest of her cousins. But she was okay with that. She had Hugo with her. That was all she needed was one cousin around her age. She was rather found of Hugo. He was fun to be around. Lily was never really late for anything. She was sure not to be late to catch the ride to Hogwarts. That would never happen. Unless you had James as your brother.

It was all good today though because they had all been out the door and at the train station early for once. Which would be a shock for her brother James seeing as he was late for alot of things. Lily on the other hand was not usally late very often. She was standing there by her mother and father at this very moment waiting for the train. She didn't really notice it but she kind of did because it caught her eye finally. It was Rose she was being still and silent. Then Lily looked beside Rose and saw Hugo.

Lily figured that she would talk to Hugo once she got on the train. Lily really couldn't wait until she got to Hogwarts. She wasn't one for waiting. She hated it but she had to wait she knew it. Then she rememberd her favorite thing to do at Hogwarts. Was being the Seeker. She loved doing that so much and now she really couldn't wait until she got to Hogwarts. Lily just loved it there so much. But besides her favorite thing she got to see Lysander. This year was going to be fun. Lysander was one of her friends that she cared about. One of the many few.

Lysander was the best thing that had happened in her first year at Hogwarts besides actually going to Hogwarts. They had been friends since first year. But now that she thought about it she didn't see Lysander yet. She saw Hugo that was good they could sit together on the train but Lysander and her talked over messages and Lysander said he would sit with her this time. She sighed as she really did hate to wait.

Lily looked around and saw all her cousins having fun. Then she wondered what she could do while she waited. So she took her owl cage and started to stroak her owls feathers. She had a snowy owl like her father once had. She named her owl Jynx. She had liked Greek. Also her bird liked to trick her alot so the name had fitted pretty good. Lily smiled then when her bit her playfully she giggled. It didn't hurt it tickled. But she was use to this.

(I will post with Lysander later. Need to get some ideas on how to start off Lysander anyways :P)

Another year, thought Fred Weasley as he walked through the gate onto Platform 9.75. It wasn't as though he lacked preamble; he looked forward to going back to school as much as the next person, but it was, after all, his final year to attend Hogwarts. He had been through all of this before. As had Roxanne, a sixth year, who he hadn't seen since they'd been separated on the way to the train. She had been with their parents then, but he never knew if he would escape their sight at the last possible minute.

Anyway. The train looked the same as always. But he didn't care. Not for now. He had better things to do than express enthusiasm. Rather, it was time to break out the latest box of tricks.

The Hauntings series.

Though his father and uncle would have been ashamed at his lack of originality, it seemed fitting to Fred to have bewitched various normal-looking items - quills and parchment rolls and such - to... react... when touched. All in good fun, and mostly harmless. Well, harmless unless the quill that was supposed to beat you over the head ended up stuck in your nostril instead...

Either way, Fred never claimed responsibility for such minor pranks. Child's play. No, he had much bigger plans. This year, he would ensure that no one would ever forget the name "Fred Joseph Weasley".

Emphasis on the Fred part of the name.

Cameron Finnigan, meanwhile, was rather distracted; she had just caught sight of someone new. Is he... have I seen him before? she asked of herself, wondering where the attractive dark-haired boy had come from. Still, no need to be too worried about him; he probably wasn't interested in her. Curly brown hair and awkwardly large front teeth. Not to mention the brains. Or the study group.

I look like... Hermione Granger, she thought, slightly horrified, as she remembered the horror stories that her mother had told her about Hermione. A bit awkward, then being such good friends with Rose Weasley. Oh well. Cam hadn't ever really asked about why her friend was gorgeous and her mother wasn't. A bit of a downer, really.

Best just to keep the conversation light and the questions unintrusive.

After saying a farewell to Seamus and Lavender, the brunette boarded the train, lugging her heavy trunk down the hallway and searching for an empty compartment. She hadn't found Rose, which didn't mean anything except that she wasn't anywhere that Cam had looked. In the meantime, though, she would catch up on reading from her Charms book and maybe practice a bit of magic. Or something.

The very thought of such an arduous task made Cam's head grow heavy.

Dominique, unlike the rest of her family who had gotten here at an acceptable time, for once, had been standing waitin in front of the platform for at least an hour before them. Because of this, her mother was unable to see her off and her father was too busy with work to see her at all. It was however something she was used to, not seeing her father sometimes. Dominique stood like a statuesque figure waiting to board the train. Her hair was as it usually was, it was down and slightly wavey with a french braid acting like a hairband wrapping around the top of her head. Her eyes were dark and smokey in color. This contrasted her natural bright blue eyes. She had on a dark pink lipstick and very faint blush. Needless to say however even without the make up she would have had the same flawless beauty her mother does. Dominique was wearing the normal attire of that of a student, however with extra accessories such as layers of necklaces, and a bracelet or two.

This was her last year at Hogwarts, and she wanted to keep the same flawless and exceptional record she had from years before. She prided herself in doing well in each and every one of her classes, though she favored some over others. She particularly loved D.A.D.A., Charms, and Care of Magical Creatures. Some things she was looking forward to were things such as quidditch, which she played a chaser on. It was odd she was even on the team because she didn't enjoy watching the game in general, but being in the game was slightly the adrenaline rush and she loved it. Another thing she was looking forward to, which she was probably the only one, was testing at the end of the year. She was hoping to do exceptionally well so she could even be considered as an auror in the future.

As she thought about the school year, her cat, Annabella meow beside her. She looked down at the cage she was forced to put her in and smiled. She remembered when she had to choose which pet to get, and though she thought an owl would be more practical, she liked soft fluffy things and something to snuggle up next to her at night sounded nice and cute. And that is what Annabella or Bella for short did most of the time, however, Annabella was also like a dog Dominique said in the way that she would follow her around, play fetch, and even seem to beg for food. Annabella was grey in color, fluffy, with blue eyes.

Somewhat ignoring the family beside her, though not intentionally so, Dominique boarded the train. She had the same natural grace her mother did with great poise. When she got on the train she looked nowhere but ahead of her, looking for an empty compartment in which she could seat herself. She always had to be somewhere first. She hated being second to get somewhere and didn't like to join groups but be there already. Finally, she found somewhere to seat herself and put her luggage up and set her cat's cage up so she was high enough to look back at her as to feel more comfortable. "There you got little one. We'll be there soon and I will get you out of that nasty cage of yours." she said, sounding like her mother but with better pronounciation of words. Dominique wondered if she was going to sit with anyone new this time around. She had so many cousins that she seemed to sit with the same people if anyone at all. There were times where she seemed like an unappealing person to sit next to. Some people deemed her unapproachable. She figured these people were not worth her time. Wanting to keep herself busy, she whipped out a book and started reading.

Lysander Scamander was a Ravenclaw no doubt about it. He was packing his things into his trunk the night before and as he did he had marked everything off. Then if he had extra room he added his novels. In all last night it took him about 3 hours to pack and make sure he had everything and didn't miss anything at all. Lysander couldn't wait until he got to the platform and see Lily and her loads of cousins. No joke there was a ton of them. He didn't know well enough on how well they got along at school for the most part he guessed they left fights out of sight from every one else.

Lysander was now at the train station. He rushed out of his mothers van then raced his brother to get his trunk. After getting his trunk and he rushed ahead and he held his owls cage in his hand. His owl was a barn owl. It was the best pet he had ever had. It was a female so he had named her Lucky. Lucky has been his owl since first year.

Lysander walked down the platform until he got to the wall or what ever people wanted to call it. He loked around before he entered. After entering he found Lily and smiled. Then smiled more when he saw that almost all her cousins were there as well. He didn't let himself show yet he liked to see what everyone else was doing before he walked up to some one. Oddly enough he liked to study what others did. He watched as Rose was talking to her cousin Albus Severus Potter. He then looked over at Hugo who was standing on the other side of his sister. He thought that Hugo would be around Lily.

After looking and watching everyone he walked up to Lily and waved. Then smiled. He half expected her to tackle him in a hug. They were best friends and had hardly seen each other this summer. So he was excited to see her too. He smiled more while she hugged him. Then when she finally let go he smirked. "Happy to see me I guess" He said chuckling.

Lily was bored petting her owl waiting for Lysander. Then just when she thought he wouldn't come she was about to go get on the train she was taking one step towards the train to go get on it. But then she saw Lysander and she smiled as he waved and smiled at her. She dropped her owl cage which her mother caught and ran and hugged him.

"Happy to see me I guess" He said and she smiled. "Well yeah your my best friend of course I am, Now lets get Hugo and go sit on the train and wait." She said smiling more. "I just can't wait until we get at hogwarts its going to be so much fun!" She said with excitment in her voice. Then she ran over to Hugo. "Hugo,C'mon lets go get on the train, We need a good area to sit!" She said still excited waiting for him to say something or do something. She always did love how her cousin Hugo had the orange hair it made her smile. She knew well she had it as well.

Albus Severus Potter stood amongst his large family feeling thoroughly suffocated. He always did when his gigantic family was around. His mother worried constantly about whether he’d get enough to eat (the house elves made enough to feed an army!). His father nagged about the upcoming Quidditch match that he was going to come watch. Albus just wanted some freedom. If it wasn’t his parents, it was his uncles and aunts. If it wasn’t his uncles and aunts, it was his cousins. Finding time to be alone was like finding gold without a niffler.

A tug on his sleeve alerted him that someone demanded his attention. He turned with a sigh but immediately perked up at the sight of his favorite cousin, Rose. She was a ray of sunshine, a breath of fresh air. He couldn’t imagine life without his best friend.

At mention of Scorpius, he grinned. “I don’t know, Rosie. He might have mentioned once or twice…” He had barely gotten the words out before she plowed onto her next words. He chuckled. “I know. I’m excited to be home.”

Rose was the only person in his family to know that Albus considered Hogwarts his real home. Had his mother known, she surely would have broken down into tears. It wasn’t that he didn’t love his parents, but he felt… Well, home. All his fondest memories were at Hogwarts.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scorpius Blaise Malfoy stood awkwardly next to his parents. They were telling him something about keeping out of trouble, but their warning fell upon deaf ears. The Slytherin was currently searching hastily for his best friends, Rose and Albus. His summer had been mainly studying and writing to the pair since his parents didn’t feel comfortable sending him away.

He finally found the shocking red hair of the Weasley and Potter families. He did a victory dance in his mind as he turned to his mother and father. “I’m going to board the train and catch up with his friends. I’ll write you once I’m settled.” He kissed his mother’s cheek and hugged his father before hurrying to his friends with his trolley.

He tugged playfully on a lock of Rose’s fiery hair. “Hello there.” He nodded at Albus who gave him a grin back. Both boys knew that Scorpius had been crushing upon Rose since… Well, about first year.

The Slytherin stayed well away from the older Weasley boys, knowing they weren’t very fond of him. It bothered Scorpius a tad because he’d never really done anything, but he wasn’t going to complain. They allowed him to be with his friends and that’s all that mattered.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jacey Kay Wood watched her parents bicker. They weren’t even together anymore, yet they fought like an old married couple. She rolled her eyes and focused her attention on a very interesting spec of dirt. I mean, look at it. It was lumpy and –

Jace stopped herself. Was she really analyzing a piece of dust? What had her life been reduced to? She shook her head. The loud noise of the Weasley/Potter Clan caught her attention. She spun around to watch them interact and socialize. It was an almost hilarious to see the difference in her family and theirs… They were so warm and happy while hers was bitter and full of resentment. She noticed Fred Weasley looking handsomely mischievous, as always. Her heart flip-flopped as a grin spread across his face. She’d always been fond of him...

Katie Bell called Jacey’s attention over to her. “Yes Mum?” Her voice was quiet and bored. She really was sick of listening to them fight.

“I’m leaving. I’ll write you every week. Goodbye, love.” She pressed a kiss to her only daughter’s cheek before scowling at Oliver Wood. “Goodbye Oliver.” She spun on her heels and marched away from the platform. It was like this every year. Her father would say something and she’d storm away… At least this year would be her last of this painful tradition.

She was left with her father in an awkward silence. “Erm, well, goodbye, dearest. I’ll see you over the Winter Holidays.” Jacey fought a snort of laughter from escaping her. Like she’d really waste her last Christmas at Hogwarts with them? Not likely. She just nodded and hugged him. He left shortly after, leaving the seventeen year old alone.

She made her way over to the gaggle of red heads, her luggage trolley rolling behind her. She stopped every-so-often to converse with her friends, but finally made it to her destination. Jacey stood to the left of Fred Weasley, her lips quirking up into a grin.

“Hullo, Captain. I’m hoping you have a few tricks up your sleeve to make this last year count?”

It wasn't long before the train had arrived and students shuffled inside like cattle being herded. It wasn't nearly as bad as the muggle train system (Grandma Granger had once taken her to the subway, and it was safe to say she was traumatized after the experience.) Rosie automatically clamped onto Albus' wrist with her own slender, delicate fingers, practically dragging him through the corridor isles. She had forgotten to do so much as wave goodbye to her parents at first, having already hauled her and Albus inside the train before she finally remembered. At once, she sprinted back and tackled her frowning parents in enthusiastic bear hugs. "Love you mum. Love you dad. See you soon! Be sure to send me lots of chocolates!" she said, placing the final kisses on either of their cheeks. Rose Weasley had never been one to filter her affections for her loved ones. She couldn't possibly see how loving your parents could ever be considered embarrassing.

She gave one more enthusiastic wave before flying back to where she'd left Albus, and being pleased to find him still equally as there as he had been a few seconds ago. She beamed perkily, her freckled cheeks bulging while she smiled. A nickname she'd been taunted with as a child, much to her dismay, was chipmunk. This was due to the fact that before she'd gotten her teeth fixed by her grandparents, she'd had the very unfortunate combination of a gap between her teeth and horribly large cheeks. That was when Scoprius came gliding in, somehow seeming to float rather than walk. Rose offered him a smile too before he yanked on a strand of her red hair.

"You twat, why don't I get a hullo?" she demanded, giving him an exasperated look. "You stroll on up, give your best regards to Albus, and then rip my hair out? What kind of-" she ranted, and would have continued if not for the polite "Excuse me" issued from a younger student behind them. It occurred to her at that moment that they were clogging up the isle. She gave him one more half-hearted, semi-playful scowl before bouncing off to find a decent room to sit in. She had sincerely missed the company of Scorpius Malfoy over the summer. She could easily see Albus because they lived so close and their parents didn't happen to despise each other. Scorpius had always provided quite the challenge for Rose, and though they had a very... complex friendship, it was a close friendship nonetheless. He'd provide snarky comments, she'd erupt like a volcano, Albus would tell them both they were being idiots, and then they'd all laugh about it. It worked perfectly.

In just a few short seconds, she was already leaps and bounds ahead of them, scurrying off before leaping inside a doorway. Not too long after, her head poked out from the compartment like a gofer out of its burrow, her long tendrils of hair swishing on the ground. She gestured exaggeratedly for them to come over, as impatient as she was smart. "Over here, I found one!" she said in her typical whisper/yell, a voice she used when she was trying to be "polite" by making her voice sound airy, but still retaining just as much volume as before. She looked at them both expectantly before swooping back inside where she waited for him to arrive.

James leaned against a wall and talked with his mom and dad before leaving for his sixth year at Hogwarts. He wouldn't show it, but he would miss them both dearly. They chuckled at Lily and Albus who were jittering with excitement, and reminisced about past memories. He was so caught up in conversation that he almost forgot that the train would have to leave eventually. So he quickly hugged his parents, gathered his things, and got in line to board the train. Her siblings and their friend Scorpius Malfoy had already boarded the train awhile ago. James already made it a point in his mind to bother them on his way to finding a room.

He was quite excited for this year, because he was determined to make it his absolute best so far. He didn't want to disappoint everyone, or ruin his reputation. Another thing he couldn't wait for was to start another season of Quidditch. He loved being a Beater on the Gryffindor team. It suits him nicely, seeing as he can be very protective. James chuckled to himself as he thought 'It also makes the ladies swoon.'

Finally, he was on the train. He scouted for his little siblings, and after ten minutes of carrying around his luggage he found them. He poked his head in and yelled, "Hey little buggers!" Then reached in to playfully flick Lily in the ear. He laughed because he knew that would bother her, then ran away. All the rooms he passed were full, or had people in them he didn't feel like talking to. He needed to find someone new, or alone. He wanted to meet another person, and it would be an added bonus if they were of the female gender. James kept scanning the rooms as he ran passed and found nothing. Right when he was about to give up and go bug his sibblings again, he stumbled upon a girl sitting alone reading a book. She looked almost like Hermoine, which made him do a double take. This was his chance to meet someone new though. So he went right for it.
James coughed and asked, "Hello mam', may I ask why you are sitting alone in this empty compartment?" He leaned against the doorway and flashed a charming smile at her in attempt to peruade her into letting him sit with her.
'She's pretty, another bonus' He added in his mind.

Hunter slipped onto the train at the last minute mentally cursing his parents as he smiled and waved goodbye to them, he loved them both but they were more than a little annoying at times. He stretched his arms over his head before tossing his stuff over his shoulder and looked around the over crowded compartment, he let out a small sigh as a group of caffeine overloaded first years ran past him making him press into the door to get out of there way.

He started walking towards the back of the train, zig-zagging through the people as he made his way to one of the last compartments. If he could find an empty room he would get a chance to really relax and get some reading done before they arrived.

Hugo was happy as that figuartive clam. He had his large, loud, noisy, bustling family all around him. He was always happy to be around them. To make it even better, he was about to be going back to Hogwarts, one of his all time favorite places. His rat, Petey, sat calmly on his shoulder, watching all of the activity. Petey was a good rat, and very well trained. After his cousin Lily, Petey was one of his best friends. He had just finished telling one of his stories, when he heard Lily calling for him. "Hugo,C'mon lets go get on the train, We need a good area to sit!"

"Bye Mum. Bye Dad." Hugo gave them both big hugs. "Bye everyone!" He waved to his family and then grabbed his cousin's hand. "Alright Lils, lead the way!" Lils was his nickname for Lily. He wasn't certain if she liked it, but he didn't care to much. She hadn't hit him over it yet, so obviously she didn't think it was to bad. "Hi Lyse!" he said brightly to Lysander, giving him a big smile. Lysander was one of Lily's best friends, and as such had become one of Hugo's friends. There was no such thing as too many friends after all.

Dwight walked onto Platform 9 and 3/4 with his parents following behind him. All of the other students were getting on the train, so it must be getting close to time to leave. Dwight liked it that way, that meant there wasn't time for long goodbyes. That also meant less time listening to his mother cry. He loved his mom dearly, but she did tend to be pretty emotional. His first time going to Hogwarts, just last year, she had cried like he was going away forever. Though part of that could have just been from him going to her old school. Turning around he looked at his parents.

Dad was standing there in his flight suit. He techincally shouldn't be here, he had a flight in less than an hour, but he wasn't willing to miss his boy going off to school. That and moms ability to apparate them back to base and made him coming a given. While other muggle parents would have been taken a back by the platform and what it meant, dad had taken it all in stride. He had fully embraced the wizarding world. Qudditch was now one of his favorite sports, and mom had even bought him a broom so they could all play as a family. Dwight wasn't certain what his dad loved flying more, his fighter plane or his broomstick.

"You take care of yourself, alright Ike. Get good grades and don't get in trouble. And most of all, make me proud."

"I will dad," Dwight gave his dad a big hug before turning to his mother. Cho stood there with small tears building in her eyes.

"Oh, I wish I could go back with you. Hogwarts is such a wonderful place," His mother said, trying to keep her emotions in check.

"It's funny that I never actually believed you until I came last year. It really is the best wizarding school." Dwight gave his mom a big hug too. Pulling back, he gave his father a salute and turned towards the train. After a fair amount of time searching, he found a mostly empty compartment. The only person in it was a very pretty girl with blue hair and blonde hair. Dominique Weasley. She was one of the most beautiful girls in the whole school. Everyone knew who she was. Dwight was suprised that she was in a compartment alone. He softly cleared his throat to get her attention. "Do you mind if I sit here?"

Delilah arrived a tad bit late to platform 9 3/4. This peeved her becasue she disliked being late, and all of her friends were already on the train. She and her mother had to stop at Diagon Alley to pick up a few last minute things, then rushed over to the platform. Hopefully she didn't lose anything on her way here. She went over everything with her mom one last time. She would miss her mom so much, and worries about her being home alone. She is extremely capable of taking care of herself, but out of all the people she knows she is closest to her mom. The train let out a loud "Choo-choo!" and that made Delilah get a move on.
"I love you mother, "She gave a her a tight hug and contuinued, "I'll miss you so much and write to you every week, I promise. Be safe please, and don't forget to take care of my plants while I'm gone."
Lilliana, her mother, squeezed her back and kissed her on the cheeck, "Don't worry Delly, you plants and I will be fine. I love you too. Don't worry about me and have fun! I'll try to make it to some of your quidditch matches. I'll be anticipating your letters, and be safe. Don't get into any trouble."
Her mother was the only person that could call her Delly. She chuckled, "You know me mom, trouble is not even on my list of thigns to do."
"I know, I know, "She smiled at her and kissed her on the forhead, "I just have to say it becasue I'm your mother."
Delilah almost started crying, she really loved her mother dearly and didn't like leaving her for so long. But Hogwarts is an exception. Hopefully she won't get too homesick this year. She never really does becasue of all the thigns that go on there and her friends, but on ocassion she would.

The train sounded again, "Okay mom, I really have to go. I love you so, so, so much, and I'll miss you. Wish me luck!" She told her one last time while gathering her things, then gave her another hug.
"I love you too, Delly. Now go! Before you're late!" She smiled.
"We already are late mother, " She replied playfully, "Goodbye, I'll write!"

She dragged her luggage as fast as she could and boarded the train. Maybe she could find Lily and sit with her. They talked a bit seeing as they were on the same quidditch team. It would be quite pleasant to catch up with her. She strolled down the halls of compartments and finally stopped at Lily's. It was kind of crowded. Hugo, and Lysander were already sitting down. She watched James run down the hall and chuckled, knowing he probably just got done bugging his younger siblings.
"Hello Lily!, " She waved happily and smiled at everyone, "And Hugo, and Lysander."
She always thought Hugo was kind of cute, but didn't think he saw her the same way because he didn't like teacher's pets and she could be one at times... or so she heard.
"May I squeeze in here?" She continued, waiting by the door.

Fred, of course, didn't even see Jacey at first, being distracted with his plotting. He did notice, however, when she started talking. “Hullo, Captain. I’m hoping you have a few tricks up your sleeve to make this last year count?” Turning, he grinned with equal vigor. "Hey there, Keeper."

Fred regarded Jacey as a close friend. She too had the same trouble-making spirit at times, which made her a lot of fun to hang out with. And to flirt a bit with. He enjoyed flirting, though not quite as much as his younger cousin, James Potter. Fred just was naturally a bit flirtaceous, a trait which came out in how he talked to people. James, meanwhile, specifically tried to make girls like him.

Just then, he realized that most of the people in the surrounding crowd were headed to board the train, which was, no doubt, leaving soon. He waved a brief goodbye to his parents, then turned back to Jacey, saying, "Let's go find a compartment. We can talk then." Fred's face turned a bit serious as he made his way through the crowd, followed by his overstuffed trunk and, he assumed, Jacey. It was a hassle, but they finally made it onto the train.

Opening the door to an empty compartment, Fred heaved their stuff into the overhead bins. Then he sat down. "The answer is..." he said, grinning cheekily and patting down his hair, "yes, I definitely have stuff planned for our last year at Hogwarts." He didn't share. Mostly because his ideas would (hopefully) help his team win the Quiddich Cup, the House Cup, and eternal glory for Gryffindor. That is, if he didn't get caught and expelled.

"So." Fred turned to Jacey, leaning on his elbows, which he had planted on his knees. "How insane did you drive YOUR parents this summer?" He briefly reminisced about all the times he'd pranked them... At least his father knew what to expect from his teenage son.

"Hello ma'am, may I ask why you are sitting alone in this empty compartment?"

Cam looked up in surprise at the sound of the boy's voice. She realized instantly that he was the attractive boy from the platform, and that she did after all recognize his face. After all, it was the (in)famous James Potter. She felt a bit stupid for not realizing that the boy was someone that everyone knew.

Still, he certainly was cute. That almost made up for the flirtaceousness.

So Cam smiled. "Because I'm bored." It wasn't exactly an answer, but it was better than admitting the truth in this case: that a Ravenclaw struggled with wandwork and practicality. "You're James Potter, right? I know your cousin." A dumb comment. James Potter had about ten thousand cousins. But it was true.

Since the young girl was feeling a bit outgoing (the alternative was reading the Charms textbook) she added, "I'm Cameron Finnigan. But I go by Cam."

James looked back to see Lily wasn't chasing after him yet. He shook his head and laughed softly. Then he turned his attention back to the girl. She said her name was Cameron, but to call her Cam. He saw a flash of recognization on her face and went ahead and sat down. He got comfortable and rested his arms on his knees.
"Yep that's me, James Sirius Potter. Very nice to meet you Cam." He replied and smiled crookedly at her.
He checked her out quickly, he had this skill mastered so much that it was rarely noticable. It all depended on the person and how good there eyes were. She did in fact look like Hermoine Granger, which was a bit weird seeing that she was his aunt. Cam, however, had some traits of her own. It's not like they looked exactly alike.
He stretched, non-challantly showing off his muscles, and then rested his arms back onto his knees.
"What book are you reading there, Cam?" He asked curiously.

Dominique Weasley

Dominique was getting rather into the book she cranked open, when she was interrupted by someone clearing their throat. She turned her head slowly almost. "Do you mind if I sit there?" he asked. She was a bit surprised, being no one really came up to her and just asked to sit with her before. She may have forced the person out had they not asked her so nicely. She was trying to remember him from one place or another, and when she thought about it she swore she recalled him from quidditch at one time or another. A quidditch player how nice. It wasn't really noticeable but she was rather tense at the moment. She wasn't ever at her best when it came to talking to males. "You can if you'd like." she said. She didn't sound particularly friendly but she hadn't said it to be mean either. She had a tendency to sound not so friendly around so called strangers. Perhaps that was why she was alone most of the time.

She put down the book which was in hand, and set it down next to her. It was a book which explored that of the job of an auror. After setting her book down she instinctively fixed her clothes due to her being in the presence of someone else she had to look even better in her mind. She wondered why she had never casually seen this person before, he looked to be around the same age as her and he did play quidditch after all. "I am sorry, I don't recall your name. I am Dominique." she said, not sure if he knew her name or not. Maybe he did, but she was trying to be polite. Any further conversation starting from her end however escaped her now. She was never good at that sort of thing and she mentally cursed herself all the time for it because she could probably do better in life if she was more talkative.

She eyed the boy again. He wasn't bad looking, no quite the contrary. And he had deep brown eyes that she found particularly pretty. Dominique moved her cat's cage so that it was more against the wall and not so much in the middle of the compartment. "Sorry little one. Don't mean to move you so much." she said to Annabella, her cat. Her voice was sweet, again having a bit of an accent like her mother. It was strange how she picked it up as everyone in her family talked normally. Perhaps it was because when she was little that's who was around more. She motioned for him to come in, feeling slightly uneasy though the look on her face was her normal serious self. It seemed she had a hard time displaying emotions of sorts. Since no one ever really sat with her she briefly questioned why this individual wanted to, she did a double take questioning his intentions, for the time being however she pushed it out of her mind.

Allura Anne Mae

She was quite exhausted. Her footsteps could be heard from far away, haven gotten heavy due to the amount of time she was running. Allura, had a tendency to be late for things, not so much while on her own but when around her mother. Her father was gone, and her mother was the one who had to bring her to the platform. She had spent way too much time worrying about trivial things like whether she forgot something, if she felt ill, if she ate in the morning. The question and answer series made them slightly late for leaving. Allura had both a backpack on, one with skulls she found particularly cute, and a large suitcase like bag in her left hand. In her right, she had her owl who she so randomly named Waffles. She must have been hungry or eating them when she named him. But then she did tend to have a randomness about her sometimes. Allura didn't even have time to put on her robes and Hogwarts attire. She had on a spaghetti strapped white tank top, low rise skinny jeans, and pink converse. It was not something she would have normally went out in. She had actually slept in the top and the jeans were just the first thing she could grab. She actually looked quite cute however. She was quite skinny but had a nice curvey figure about her. She was also one of those girls with a sway back so she looked attractive from her profile as well. One thing about her though was she was a bit on the shorter side. She was five foot four. Sometimes this annoyed her.

Allura turned to see her mother chasing after her. She began to feel excrutiatingly embarressed inside. "I'm fine mom really just go!" she shouted, though looking ahead of her. She heard nothing from her mother and she knew she was going to have to do it. The way her mother embaressed her was so overwhelming sometimes. She had to say it. "Bye mom love you." Right after that she heard an I love you too and heard the second pair of footsteps stop. She sighed, she wondered sometimes if her mother knew she embarressed her and did it anyways. Her mother was a muggle as well and some people just seemed to treat her coldly. Allura didn't like it but she never knew what to do about those situations.

She was finally closer to the train, as she got so she thought about the year ahead. It was the year before her last and she wanted to enjoy herself. She didn't know the probability of that however as she really didn't have friends. There was Dominique but she really did keep to herself. She was happy she was going to play quidditch. She was the beater of the Gryffindor team. It was a good position for her as well. She got her frustrations out and carrying a bat like item around amused her. She easily got into fights so it was a good substitute for her. Allura was a socially awkward person and didn't really converse much unless someone talked to her first, she also tended to get into trouble - a lot. Her mother sometimes said she was a 'troubled child', or something of the sort. Other muggles called her a problem child. She didn't know why she reffered to some people as muggles, she was half one herself. She remembered however that some people said she often got into trouble for attention, she rolled her eyes thinking of this.

When she got on the train she was still running a bit, her long brown hair, with its red almost tint flow behined her. She looked to see many, many of the Weasleys on the front of the train socializing with eachother. She hadn't really realized it but she wasn't looking where she was going and sort of tripped over her own feet. Her bag went flying in front of her, her owl's cage rolled in front of her as well with white feathers going all over, meanwhile her heavy backpack half pinned her down. Her brown hair was sprawled out everywhere. When she looked up she saw she had inconveniently landed next to a compartment with people in it. There was a boy and a girl, a redhead and someone she knew to be James Potter. Mentally she rolled her eyes but nothing else. She looked quite dazed and dumbfounded - normal for her. Her eyes had dark black eye shadow on the corners, which made them look larger and quite cute. She quickly tried to push herself up, embarressed and flushing some. "Next time I'm packing light." she said softly to herself.

Scorpius gave an amused laugh as she began to rant. Rose was a fiery girl who wouldn’t be stepped on. He liked that about her. The way she wouldn’t take no for an answer and was constantly trying to show him up. The challenge was refreshing and he loved it.

Once they’d found an open compartment, he sat back in a seat and smirked. “I didn’t give you a proper hello because you don’t need one. You talk enough for the both of us.” Albus chuckled from his place across from Scorpius.

“Don’t bait her, mate. Nothing good can come from it.” The green-eyed boy crossed his arms.

“Yeah, but it isn’t like Rose could do anything. She’s too… good.” They both snickered, waiting for her to explode in anger. She hated when they talked about her like she wasn’t there… which is exactly why they did it.

------------------------------

Jacey followed him through the throng of people, tugging her large trolley behind her. After several minutes of being pushed and shoved, they had successfully found an empty compartment. She lugged her trunk through the tiny doors of the room and prepared herself to make the effort of lifting her huge trunk. She was taken by surprise when Fred took it from her hands, lifting it easily up into the overhead bins. She muttered a quiet thanks.

Plopping down into a seat across from him, she folded her legs to rest underneath her. She chuckled when he replied vaguely, but knew he’d tell her eventually. “Oh really? Well, I expect to be in a few of these dastardly acts.” She smiled. Jace had participated in a few brilliant (and some not so brilliant) acts throughout the years. They’d been caught a few times, but every good trickster had to be caught once in a while.

The smile slipped off her face at mention of her parents. She didn’t even want to think about what they had done to annoy her over the summer. Jacey rolled her eyes and played with a strand of her curly hair. “You know my mum and dad. They fought over what days I’d be at there houses and argued about stupid stuff. I didn’t have a chance to annoy them with all the bickering.”

She leaned towards him, eyes narrowing. “Knowing you, you did quite a few things. Care to share?” Jacey quirked an eyebrow up at the boy in front of her as a smirk formed on her face.

In the meantime of all the mess after she got Hugo and Lysander to come in the train they found a compartment. She was sitting near the door. She was smiling as she put her bags above her then sat on her seat. She had Jynx with her.

Then when Jynx started pecking at her she smiled. Then James had came by and him being annoying flicked her in the ear. "Hey! What was that for, I'm telling mum when I write to her" Lily protested. Then she was going to go run after him but knew it was not worth it to do so. So she sat down for a second.

She jumped up when she heard someone. She smiled and waved. As well as Lysander did. "Yaeah sure you can take the seat next to me by the window" She said smiling then she made room for Delly to get in and sit down. She stood there waiting until they all got settled into the compartment. She set her bird bird down then said. "Be right back" then she ran out of the compartment and kept running until she found James in a compartment.

"James if you didn't hear me you are so dead!" Then she frowned at him. She took a book out of a kids hand and chucked it at him. "Never do that again!" She protested. Then after the book hit him she took it and gave it back to the kid. She walked out then knew too well that James might follow her so she ran back to her compartment. "Sorry had to give pay back to a brother of mine" She said smirking. Then she sat down.

Lysander smiled and waved at Hugo. "Hey Hugo, I see you like to use nicknames" he said smiling still. Then he had been sitting down by the window so Hugo could sit beside him. Then there was Delly and Lily on the other side. Lysander was bored after no one was talking and Lily left. "So..what is everyone been up to this summer?" He asked. Feeling weird.

Lysander was waiting for every one to say what they did and while he did he looked out the window then Lily came back. He smiled then said "Welcome back, Don't kill your brother now that would be a bad thing to do" He said and chuckled.

Rose felt her eyes narrow in what her father liked to call "the glare of the Weasley-Granger harpy". He claimed that when she was upset, her face combined the two unique glowers from the women of both sides of the family, resulting in a terrifying look able to make even Voldemort swallow in fear. This was the very same looked she'd used her entire life when things weren't quite kickin' for her. It was adorable as a toddler but soon became a lethal weapon as she grew older. However, Scorpius and Albus had grown somewhat of an immunity towards her scathing expressions, which just made her more frustrated. She was ready to whip out a variety of angry words, but she bit her lip at the comment that she talked too much, realizing that it would only prove his point.

So she sat there, placing one leg on top of the other in a move that meant business. She was a time bomb waiting to blow. Tick, tick, tick. Albus came in at that point to kind of defend her. It was kind of because the way he had said it 1) implied she had no self-control and 2) was said in third-person, as if she wasn't sitting two feet away from them in that same compartment. Tick, tick, tick. They both smiled smugly, as if it was the most amusing thing in the world. Albus even went so far as to cross his arms sassily. It was then that she knew Albus was no friend in this situation, he was foe. Tick, tick, tick. Scorpius went on to say that Rose apparently wouldn't "do anything" and that she was "too good"- a topic much too touchy for Rose. They knew she was self-conscious over how she just didn't have the heart to break the rules like the rest of her cousins... but they also knew Rose was far from the person who wouldn't do anything, which meant that they were, indeed, just trying to get under her skin at this point. Tick, tick, tick. Finally, they both began to chuckle to themselves, obviously very pleased with how they were managing to annoy her. Tick, tick, ti-

"OH, COME ON!" she burst in frustration, arms waving around in the air in her exaggerated hand body language. "I'm not... I'm not good! I'm adventurous and wild! I-I do things." she justified, though she couldn't fully commit, knowing very well that she took after her mother in the cautious department. "And, and how dare you speak of me in the third person when I'm right here! I didn't run off to the loo or something, and I'm not a silly pet. I'm a person, a person who requires you to speak me me in second person or not speak at all." she continued, her face getting red with the signature Weasley flush. "You two are absolutely infuriating! I'd think you of all people, Albus, would understand that I am not to be tempered with! I don't understand why you would possibly want to join in." she said, knowing full well the reason was because it was funny to see her get so heated. It was then that she realized she was speaking much too loud, and for much too long. She had simply confirmed Scorpius' original statement about how she blabbed uncontrollably, and had given into what they wanted. She huffed and put her head into her hands, now blushing out of embarrassment instead of anger. "I really need to learn to put a cork in it..." she thought to herself, now on the verge of laughing herself.

Holli had made it to the station a little late but she got inside the wall right on time. She spent most of her time saying goodbye to her mother. Her father was at the school. He was the new Herbology teacher there. So she would see him later. "Bye Mum, I will write when I get a chance" Then she finished hhuggin her motehr and got on the train.

Then she walked down the halls there bein no empty compartments she entered one with a male who had black hair and a female with blonde. She looked at them both then asked. "Can I sit here? I really don't know if there is anymore compartments I can go in" She said standing in the door way waiting for an answer.

Holli loved it. She was going back to Hogwarts. She would get to be on the quidditch soon with all of her team there. With Lily and Delilah. They were good at the game and that was why they were on her team. She had been closer to them then anyother person on the team.

Holli was thinking about who would win this year for the overall points. It was normally Gryffindor or Slytherin. So she was use to not winning. She was a hufflepuff and well they never really won very often for that. But she was hoping she would at least get to before she had to leave Hogwarts.

(And heres Holli!!!)

James Sirius Potter

Just as he asked Cam about her book, his sister, Lily, came in and yelled "James if you didn't hear me you are so dead! Never do that again!" Then threw a book at him, hard. After her target was successfully hit, she retrieved the book and ran away.

"Bloody hell, Lily!" James shouted half laughing and half frusterated. It was an odd combination, but that described their relationship. He was the only one allowed to tease any of his siblings, he found it quite fun. This kind of bickering was common.

He briefly got up, tapping Cam on the shoulder, and told her calmly, "Excuse me a second." He grabbed his wand from his bag, then sprinted out the door as fast as he could, arriving at Lily's compartment again. He popped his head in the door and noticed another girl inside. She looked up at him and he winked at her.

"Hey, uhhmm, Lily?" James said, turning his attention back to her.

He took his wand out from behind his back and pointed it at a spare coin he saw on the floor and said, "Avifors."
The coin transformed into a small bird and started flying furiously around the room. James laughed hysterically as he closed their door and sprinted back to his compartment with Cam.
He peacefully sat back down as if nothing had just happened.

"Anyways, I'm sorry about that. That was LiIly, my sister. I had to go have a talk with her." He told her apologetically, "Like I was saying what book is th-..." Before he could finish a flurry of objects collapsed outside their door. He recognized the tint of brown/red hair. It was Allura, the other beater on the Gryffindor team. She had looked up and saw him, she looked a bit disoriented as usual. He chuckled and got up. He helped Allura pick up her things and gently placed her owl, Waffles, upright. He then extended his hand to her to help her up, "Nice trip, see ya' next fall." He chuckled again at Allura, waiting for her to take his hand.

Delilah May Gerdes

Before she could say another word to Lily, she rushed out the door after her brother. She laughed to herlself as the usual pattern of Potter bickering started again. Not that it ever stopped at all. They sat in silence for a minute before Lysander asked about everyone's summer.

"Well, " Delilah started, "I didn't do much except tend to my little plants and hang around my neighborhood. What about you?" She smiled brightly at Lysander and Hugo. When she looked at Hugo, she blushed a little from the eye contact. Why does he have to be so cute? Just then, Lily came back into the room. Lysander welcomed her, and Delilah laughed.

"Well that was quite interesting, and so the Potter bickering begins!" She said between chuckles.

She sat there for a moment and thought about her mother. She hoped she got home safely, and worried that she forgot about the plants. That would be impossible though, her mother shared Delilah's love for plants. In fact, that's where she got her plant love from. She shook her head at herself then looked up at Hugo again, his rat Petey was still sitting on his shoulder. She let her mind wander. She found herself wonfering if Hugo would ever like her at all. She's talked to him only a few times, so she couldn't be sure.

"Hey Hugo -" She was once again interupted by James.

He popped his head in the door. Delilah looked straight up at him and he winked. Tingles went down her spine. Of course, tingles go down every girl's spine when James Sirius Potter so much as looks at them. He said a spell that turned some spare coin on the ground into a small bird. He immediatlely left and closed the door behind him. She could hear James still hysterically laughing down the hall. Then, reality set in. There was a wild bird in the compartment, and the door was closed.
Delilah screamed and put her head between her knees, not knowing what to do. Transfiguration was not her specialty, and she didn't have any plants with her that could possibly help. So, the best she could do was wait for the bird to go away.
