Helena got up and walked over to Jack. "Hi." she said. It was as if someone was controlling her. Normally she didn't talk to jocky guys but there was something about Jack that attracted her to him.

Gerard sat there, and quietly closed the yearbook, placing it down. He began to walk off, hands in his pockets. "She sure must like him..." He quietly sat down near a bush, thinking.

Helena looked over at Gerard when he left. She let it go and looked back at Jack with a smile.

Gerard looked back one last time, feeling as if Helena was dead. In fact, for a spilt second, he wished her to be, but the thought quickly perished. Instead, he began to have a small tune going through his head. He wished he could walk up to her and say "I'm not Ok, I promise." Instead, he decided to watch from a distance.

Helena stood there talking to Jack until the bell rang. She grabbed her yearbook and turned to Jack. "I guess I'll see you later Jack." she said with a smile and then walked towards the school.

Gerard followed her, slowly, and then after that avoided her for the day as much as he could.

After school Helena waited outside for Gerard. She wanted to appologize for not talking to him during lunch.

Gerard walked out, finally happy to be done with that day, and had forgotten the whole incident, smiling, until he saw Helena, and remembered it all. He tried to hide his face so she couldn't see him.

Helena smiled when she saw Gerard. She ran to catch up with him. "Hey!..you okay?" she asked him as she grabbed his arm stopping him on the sidewalk. She looked at him and her smile faded. Something was wrong.

[to make him even more mad when Helena and Gerard are talking and she's trying to tell him sorry and what not have Jack pull up and offer her a ride or something along those lines you don't have too if you don't want too]

((*devilish laugh* Sounds fun.))

Gerard looked at her. "It.. it's nothing, ok?" He tried to look away again.

"Are you mad at me? Gerard..please..somethings wrong. I know you and I know when something's up. You can tell me." Helena said still holding him in place. "Did I do something?" she asked still trying to think of way he was acting so depressed suddenly.

Gerard just kept looking away. Sooner or later, she'd remember, and try to plea for forgiveness.

Helena thought for a moment. She remembered. "Is it because I started talking to Jack? Gerard..I'm sorry I didn't mean to forget about you." Helena said looking at him. She turned his face to her. "Please don't mad at me." she said.

G: "You ditched me basically. What the hell does he have that I don't have?" He asked, and looked behind Helena, seeing a car pull up.

J: Jack drove out of the parking lot, and saw Helena. He drove up to her, stopping near her. "Hey, need a ride, Helena?"

G: Gerard's jaw almost dropped seeing Jack pull up as he was trying to talk to Helena. He could have and should have punched him that second, but didn't.

Helena looked behind her and then back at Gerard. "It's not that...look can we talk about this some other time." she said letting go of his arm. She began backing away. "I'll see you tomorrow Gerard okay?" she said before getting into Jack's car. She looked over at Gerard with a sad look in her eyes. Maybe she shouldn't be doing this. No. Gerard would get over it it's not like he was in love with her. Or was he? She stopped looking at him and looked down at the floor waiting for Jack to leave.

G: Gerard kept a betrayed look on his face as this whole scene of events unfolded. He looked to his side, picking up a stray brick.

J: Jack revved the car. "Ok, Nice choice Helena! Now, get ready to g-" He was cut off as the sound of shattering glass filled the car, as well as glass itself filling the back seat. "What the hell?!?!" Jack screamed, seeing his back window being shattered.

G: Gerard, seeing what he just did, began to run. He ran as fast as he could, making a turn to the right, entering his neighborhood. Then, he looked back.

J: Jack nearly had slammed the gas pedal in taking pursuit of Gerard, grabbing a metal baseball bat from the back, and readying it out the window, towards Gerard's advancing head.

G: Gerard saw the car, and a metal bat. The bat was aimed for his head. He tried to run faster, but found himself unable to.

Helena got out of the car. She followed Jack and grabbed his arm. "Jack knock it off!" she yelled as she tried to hold him back. "He didn't do it on purpose!" she said looking over at Gerard who looked scared. She kept a good grip on Jack hoping he would listen to her.

G: Gerard tripped, landing on his ankle. "Damnit!" He yelped, as it began to ache. "Better.. not.. be.. sprained.."

J: Jack shook her off. "Do you see what he did to my car?" He ran over to Gerard, and brought the back over his head, swinging it downwards at Gerard.

G: Gerard finally mustered strength, rolling out of the way as the metal hit the concrete with a Klang. He tried to run, but felt a pain as his knee buckled.

J: Jack had chased him, and finally swung at the inside of Gerard's left knee, crippling him to the ground. He raised the bat above his head, ready to strike again.

G: Gerard fell over, and quickly began to try to get up, feeling the bat swish past his ear. "A fatal hit missed.." He mumbled to himself, getting full control, running.

"Jack! You can buy a new window for your car! Just leave him alone!" Helena yelled as she walked after him. She grabbed his arm and took the bat from him throwing it on the ground. She looked up at him and behind him to see that Gerard had gotten away. She let out a small sigh of relief. Then turned back to Jack. "He only did that because he's mad at me okay..but really it's just a car that doesn't mean you have to try and bludgen my best friend to death with a bat." she explained.

G: Gerard slid, finally getting into his house. He ended up falling asleep minutes later.

J: "JUST a car? How else could I get anywhere? Huh? It's important! I can't afford a 500 $ window!"
