Plot: Helena and Gerard are Seniors in high school. Graduation is coming up and everyone is excited. The two(Gerard and Helena) have been best friends since they were younger and as they got older Gerard began having feelings for Helena but never expressed his feelings. When sitting out in the courtyard talking and signing each other's yearbooks a jock who is playing ball with his friends misses and the ball rolls over by Helena and Gerard. When Helena sees the jock[Jack]she immediately falls for him and vice versa. Gerard is crushed. A few years later Helena and Jack get married and Helena sends Gerard a card but he never responds. After the wedding they move into Jack's new house and everything seems to be going fine until Jack sees Helena and Gerard hugging outside of the house and Jack being the drunk bastard he is gets pissed and starts abusing Helena. Gerard finds out and kills Jack and when Helena finds out she's shocked and threatens Gerard. Gerard ends up killing himself after explaining his feelings for Helena and since she feels bad she does the same.

[This starts the morning of the day when Helena and Jack meet. They meet at lunch while Helena and Gerard are sitting down signing each other's yearbooks.]
Helena's alarm clock went off at 6:30. She got up, stretched, hit the snooze button and then made her way to the bathroom where she closed the door and hopped into the shower. After her shower she got out and made her way back to her room to get dressed. She threw a pair of jeans on some old converse and a tshirt. She went back to the bathroom and brushed her teeth, dried her hair, brushed it, put her makeup on and then went back to her room grabbing her black hoodie and her messanger bag. She tossed it on and then went downstairs and out the front door. She walked down the sidewalk towards her best friend Gerard's house and knocked on his front door.

Gerard, already up and ready, opened the door. "Hey Helena, what's up? Think you're ready for the graduation soon?" He motioned for her to wait for a second, and ran to get his shoes and bag. He put his shoes on, and grabbed his backpack. He closed the door behind him, and playfully punched her shoulder. "C'mon! Let's go." He couldn't believe how great she looked, but he would never tell her.

"Ow! I'm fragile you dork!" Helena said laughing and pushing him playfully then sighed. "I guess I mean..I'm excited to be getting out of high school you know but then again it's too soon..I don't know what college I'm going to go too. I have like 4 to choose from and probably more. It's too much stress. How about you?" she asked looking over at him and tucking a piece of black hair behind her ear and smiled at him.

Gerard laughed. "I'm not sure either... I mean, there's a good chance I could go to a community college, at least that's what my home ec teacher says. She's the only class I'm failing. So what, I can't cook!" He laughed, and asked her, "So how are we gonna get to school today?"

Gerard laughed. "That's true. That's all too true." He began to walk towards the school, every 20 steps he took, he acted like he was going to turn around, instead just simply spinning and then walking backwards. "So, If you had to pick which college, which one would you go to?"

"Actually yeah." Helena said looking down at the scar on her hand. It was a small light scar on her right hand. Gerard had the same scar on his left hand in the same place. She remembered they got in trouble and were expelled for three days. "Remember we got expelled for it." she said laughing.

"Yeah... We broke a glass coke bottle... I did the cuts, you said the oath, and then, well, we touched the cuts together. A blood oath." He laughed, remembering how they were suspended for 3 days, and during those 3, Helena's mom had found out and gotten mad at him. He then remember being grounded for a week after that, but it was worth it.
