Postby VanMavus on Thu Jul 03, 2008 9:31 am

Is it only myself who seems to have the er, well maybe not a problem but all my sent private messages appear in the 'outbox' and not the 'sentbox'...

What's happenin'? Is this okay? Do my private messages still send?

They don't appear in the sentbox until they've been read by the person you sent them to. Until then, they remain in the outbox.

Ah, thankyou very much Kouketsu.

(Also: What's flood control on this board, I made my last post like a minute ago and this still won't... post 'so soon after' my last.)

(2ndAlso: No need for a double post, just edit. I seem to have only a singly post count. Yet this is my fourth? Do certain areas not count towards posts? Thanks again. (The only reason I ask is because I was going to +Rate your post)).

Mhmmm, there are also particular parts of the site that don't count towards your post count, the most prominent (And really the only one that comes to mind) would be the Welcome Desk forum, where no posts count towards your overall number.

And I'm not sure of the limit between posts, but I want to say that it's three minutes or something like that because of some spamming issues in the past.

Argh, I tend to have multiple windows open and write about 3 posts at once.

Thanks a heap, and if you ever feel that spam is not going to come back lower flood protection time :P.

Ugh Guys can I get a little help please, any advice is great. I am having trouble staying on long enough to post. When I try to post it jumps the screen to another post and last time I hit submit it transferred me to the RPGateway Academy Site.

Any suggestions? Please?

Skallagrim, clear your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete in Firefox, otherwise search for how to do this using Google) and then give it another shot. Let me know what what happens.
