Well I think we need a comic book style rp, with out ripping out a story for Marvel or DC, using charaters that have premade emotions and lives. Anyway, there are several things that will shape your charaters life.

>The first and most thought of is whether your a hero or villian. You don't need to be a goody twoshoe, or evil monster with no emotions, you can have one of either with any personallities or traits you want, such as a villian like magneto, he fights because of how mutants are treated. I use this as an example, he will not be in the rp, so I ask with this thought that you don't be a existing hero/villian, but simular to one if you decide to.
>Next is class, class decides what hero you are. Your choices are >Mutant - Has powers naturally. >Altered being - Gained powers from altercations >Fighter - knows how to really fight
>Alien - From another world >Robot - Mechanical being, non organinc
>Tech Specialist/Scientist/Genuis - Someone who is very smart, usually makes their equipment.

>From here you move onto powers/ abilities. There is no ruling here other than make something believable, and not godly such as full control of gravity. Not sure about what you have, pm me.

The year is 2008, and life goes on as normal. People in history have been known for stange things, weird abilities, inventions, pure intelegence. Now in this world of opportunities, many have emerged from the shadows to make a quick buck, to hunt people down, to kill, some for the hell of it. They threaten the lives of all, and because of that, others have risen to the cause of protecting us all. The path of the rightous isn't an easy one, and the path of the wicked isn't without it's price. The real question is that when the chips are down, are you the robber, or are you the cop? Will you bring doom upon humanity, or will you save it from destruction?

Name: Sarah Mc'Kellen

abilities: Persuasion ( mind control, only it's smoother, like it makes you want to do something, only temporary though and she can only control one person at a time, at the moment ... Also prone to OCD, which makes her an effecient killer to a fault, it's both her greatest strength, and her greatest weakness )
Background: Shortly after turning 14 Sarah's power developed, it was weak, only lasting a few minutes, she found it easy to excel in shcool when she could make the teacher's do just about anything she wanted them too. By the end of highschool, the young woman's power extended to last a few hours, The apparently charming, beautiful woman, however harbored desires. In an attempt to find the limits of her power she took a teacher, and wrapped him in her power, she comanded the man to jump from the roof. He Immeadetly broke from her hold, she was stunned, her face writ in horror, she turned and fled. At age 24 Sarah is a new graduate from college with a degree in law.

Appearance: 6 foot, skinny cacaussion, green eyes, brown hair, down to eyebrows. Wearing MC Chris ninja merch t-shirt or a shirt with something like star wars or anime. Camo pants, and wearing a raged cloak.
Abilities: Steal energy (With a simple touch, william is able to steal energy from someone, taking fragments of their abilities. Even able to take all of their energy, killing the victum, with prolonged exposure to Williams touch.) Partial Telekenetics.
Weaknesses: Willaim has a fear of death, himeself, and people getting close to him. Inferity complex. Pretty much an emotional reck.
Background: Willaim Bray lived in Germany for his life, until he he hit puberty. This terrible thing happend to him. He was playing with his friends, something to the degree of King of the Hill. He grabbed onto a friend, draining him of energy, leaving the boys body limp. Out of love, his parents sent him to America to prevent his death back in Germany. His wealthy parents gave him enough to get him over there, and live for several years. His dangerous power was increased more when he was attacked a year before by another mutant. Willaim killed him on accident, leaving him with a small telekenesis power. He was hated by all, and felt worthless. He didn't want to hurt anyone, but always did....

William laid down, curled up, crying in some lawyers office. The police handcuffed him, and took him to his appointed lawyer, some woman he didn't know, his thearapist talking to her.
"He's a good boy, but he has some weird power. Appearently he's killed a few times accidently. His latested problem is a fight at school, for whatever reason the other boy has a history of starting fights. He grabbed William by the neck, then fell unconsious. They say he caused all of it, and tried to kill the bully. The parents are sueing him, and want to send him to jail. We were hoping you could help out Miss Mc'Kellen. The state will be paying you for your sevices in a metal insane case" The woman tried to calm William down in a way that you would a child, patting him on the back, making sure not to touch skin in any way. He stoppd and stood up, looking at the woman in frount off him. He wiped away the tears " I'm sorry...to trouble you."

Hero/Villain: Chaotic Villan
Appearance: large bulky hair, dark green with large brown streaks in it, that looks like a body on it's own, constantly squirming, even without movement. Three eyes, middle: green, left and right: black. With a large extended jaw, filled with 3 rows of teeth. Latin-skin, with purple/green veins highly accented. Nails are sharper than most blades, stronger than steel (bullet proof bones)
Abilities: can harden his skin to bone, calling it his " Bone Fortress" he still needs to breathe though. Bio can change his internal organs to an extent, meaning: he can extend his lung capacity by making them bigger, he can't: grow something new, only replicate old things.(his extra eye being an exception) has hightined senses, but can alter that as well, meaning: smell better than a dog, one second, then nothing at the next. Can't manipulate other bodies through this power (but he can shred em wit his claws). Can expell foul substances/certain bacteria from his body ie: posions, certain chemicals, narcotics, etc.
Background: operation HAZARD was declared code phantom, along with everyone working under it. HAZARD's purpose was to design/create a new being/super soldier, one that the american army (HOO-RAH!) could control and unleash upon the enemies of freedom. This was before test subject B. 10 decided to react to the chemicals in a different sort of way. After destroying the lab, Bio escaped the base injured and vulnerable. Spending 20+ years training his powers to their limits, and practicly killing himself daily, Bio reached the point of molding his body and its parts into different shapes/uses for different abilities/aspects. One such makes Bio lose upper brain thought, becoming an animal once more. (this form grants him greater strength, and agility, but lessens intellect) Another form increases his cranium capacity, and speeds up the brains functions (greater intellect, lessened strength) Bio typically just roams, untill it finds something it wants, at which point, it will do most anything to take it.
Weaknesses: Fire (bone fortress can still be burnt((wierd, but he is more flammable with the chemicals and what-not))) loss of brain (body can't move, threat neutralized) acids of ph 13+, bases of 3-

Note: Granted this is a strong character, if I cannot use these powers/nerf the powers, just say so. Ill try my best not to god-mod.

Appearence: Semi long hair of a dark brownish, always slicked backwards. Peircing dark blue eyes. Always wears a type of cloak without a hood. The cloak was about 6 feet long to match is rather towering height to most others. it was perfectly long enough to just be above the ground but not touch it. Under he wore a simple black tank top and semi dark blue jeans. The cloak was of black of course. His eyes were covered with shades of semi darkness covering his eyes from the sun rays.
Abilities: His power would be considered unquie to most. He is able to move objects around, or rip them from buildings. However he could never bring down a building bigger then 3 stories without causing himself to blackout. Taking small cunks from buildings though would not harm him as much. he had the powers of basic telekineses. Levitation and object moving. he can create objects for use in combat. Not from thin air. He would have to first take something like concreate from the ground to make a round ball to throw, or a chunk of metal(if not too thick) and fashion it into a blade.
Weakness: though he worked his mind, he was plauqed with massive headaches that would dissorent him to were he was almost useless, and much of his past is clouded from him, he would occasionaly get a small amount of his memory back. This would cause a type of sezure(sorry if i spelt it wrong lol). Eyes rolled in the back of the head, bloody dripping from his nose and mouth, jerky movements and violent behavior after it was over.

background: Corvan's past to him is mostly in the blanks but over time his memory slowly comes back to him. but what he does remember. He grew up in a forest area. As far as he could remember the town he lived in which was small denied and did not allow any known mutants to live in the town. His family has had powers from fire making to telekineses in there 6 generation history. But from his few memorys he can remember growing up and using his powers to hunt and defend against people who came into the forest lookin for him and his family. Eventually they forbid anyone from comming into the forest or fear of death would come, for no one ever returned from the forest once they entered.

Corvan stood on top of a hill over looking a city he was soon going to enter.He wondered what lurked in this city and if anyone could help him with his memory.Walking down the hill slowly he looked around at the few people relaxing on the hill. Slowly he entered the city and looked around for a local bar or a place to wait till night came. He found a bar several minutes later called. "The BoomStick" (couldn't resist) Walking into the bar he noticed several people looking at him, but ignored them. Taking a seat at the bar he looked around before pulling out a small book and looking it over slowly.

Age: 3 weeks. Looks about 24.
Hero/Villain: Scavenger ((Does what needs to be done to survive.))
Appearance: Winged human, created in a laboratory by splicing a human's dna with a falcon's. Long, sharp fingernails due to falcons having talons. With long, pale, almost silver-brown bangs and piercing yellow eyes, he appears at first angry, due to his hawkish nautre, but is indeed a friendly person.
Abilities/Weaknesses: Flight, Claws, Incredible dexterity and speed, and stamina. Can send emotion into other's thoughts to be able to communicate, albeit barely.
No knowledge of how to speak, and small chances to ever learn. Can't read, yet. Not incredibly hardy, and he is naive as an animal, seeing how he is only 3 weeks old. Incredibly afraid of Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, Scientists, basically anyone with a Doctorates and runs a clinic. Also very afraid of guns.

Background:
"Get back here you fucking bird!" The angry scientist yelled, plasma gun firing towards the disoriented and weak Gryphon who was attempting to fly down the hallways of DNInc, the company who had been experimenting with the splicing of DNA. They had finally done it- created a bird man. But somehow, with his "talons" he was able to break free from a temporary holding cell and attempted to flee. The experiments were horrible, needles and potions and lotions that burned you from the inside out, that made you feel as if your brain were melting. He had to escape.

Flapping down the hallway, he crashed through two doors and into another lab room. Gryphon looked up, only to see a dimensional warp prototype. Dragging himself across the floor, Gryphon, in just a patient gown, went trough the portal.

Little did he know but he had gone through dimensions to a whole different one, the one where Mutants and Heroes were as common as mice. He was also followed by several DNInc mercenaries, all armed with plasma guns that would stick to your nerves and render you unmoveable.

((my character is a lesbian .. in case your wondering =] )) "It's really not a big deal, I'm sure I can get him off with insanity, but I need to know, what is it he does exactly?" The woman babbled, telling her exactly what she needed to know, he was a minor telepath, gigantic emotional wreck, and an energy leech. Just what she needed. "It's really no trouble at all! really, I think I can get him off with as little time as possible, which is none to 4 months, for insanity, with time in the phsych ward. But really I think I can help you." She smiled. It was hollow though, she really just wanted to pull out her handgun, and shoot the woman in the head, but it wasn't worth it.

Appearance: 6 foot, brown messy hair, orange eyes. Skinny cacaussion. Wears shirts with Evangelion, or characters from his comic on them, black pants, and a black top hat.
Abilities: Animation/Living art (Has the ability to create all he can draw, making them real, and living if nessissary. He can draw on anthing, even air. He requires a drawing tool to do so, such as a brush, or pencil. His drawings disappear when he isn't awake, unless it is the only drawing animated at the time.
Weakness : Walter has Narcolapsy( I think it's spelled like that). He falls asleep uncontrollably, at random times. He doesn't last long without his drawings, so loosing his pencil or brush would cripple him.
Background: Walter was born in Japan, never meating his military father. He lived with his mother, drawing and painting until he was famous. He began being able to bring his art to life, finding it a useful ability, but never used it to make a buck, as an old comic writter taught him. He draws comics and cartoons now, almost as famous as Stan Lee in the comic bussiness. He donates most of his money, believing it's the right thing to do. He continues to enjoy helping people, until he goes to sleep, which happens too much.

Walter walked out of the office, tired, and ready to go home. He go on his Vespa, drinking enough caffine to prevent any "accidents". This wouldn't matter, but he thought it helped. As he got on, a portal opened above him, an angel falling out. Walter didn't know what was happening, but the angel landed on him. "Naduh? Who are you?"

He has sharp wolf-like teeth and his fingernails are sharp like a wolf's claws.

Abilities: He has the abilities of a wolf ; Sharp eye sight, strong sence of smell, and sharp hearing, He can run up to 100 miles an hour and can lift over 200 lbs.
Weeknesses High pitched noises, strong and unpleasent smells, his light weight makes him easy to knock around.
Background: He doesn't remember his parents or how he came into being.

Sitting on top of a large skyscraper, Jake was enjoying the breeze and the soft humming sound of the cars, which looked like ants from where he was.
He looked over the edge of the building and spat into the air, watching the wad of spit tumble down, followed be a a man yelling loudly "What the hell?! Gross!" Jake laughed.
Jake had never gone to school and had learned everything he knows from TV or the radio.
With his hawk-like vision, Jake saw a man being mugged no too far from were he was. Jake leaned over the edge of the building and walked off. As he was falling down, he pushed his feet up against the side of the building, which made him jump pretty far.
Jake landed in front of the mugger and picked him up by the neck "Is that yours?" Jake said, looking at the wallet in the mugger's hand. The mugger shook his head, Jake made a tuneless, short laugh and said "Heh, didn't think so." He brought the man up even higher and slammed him on the ground, only enough to knock him out.
Jake walked over to the man who got mugged and reached out a hand to help him up. When the man stood up, Jake gave the man's wallet back, the jumped high into the air before the man could get a good look at him.

Sitting back atop the building he was previously on, Jake was counting the money he got from the mugging. "63 dollars." He said out loud "I gave the guy his wallet back, but not before taking the money out if it!" He laughed to himself.

Willam stoud by as the hard ass of a judge started. He was racial towards power users. "Look, I think this kid is guilty, and so does the court. This crary bit is bullcrap in my opinion. What can you possibley say to change our minds? He tried to kill this kid over here because he could. Even if he is crazy, I would still lock him away. Unless you have some idea of what to do to him, or that can truely change our minds, he's gone."

Not knowing how to act without his thearapist near him in a scary time, he instictively grabbed onto the shirt of the women defening him, not touching her skin. He looked at her with a terrorfied look on his face.

Sarah Stood, Her Eye's widening, HE could kill her right now. "William, listen to me, I know your scared, but you have to let go, right ... now." She was afraid, he was afraid, she couldn't let him touch her skin, and she was going to need to 'persuade' the judge to let him off. If she had to make him let her go she would, but it would seal his fate. "Your honor, look at this boy, there is, no one on earth more scared of his ability than he is. Trust me, In the right hands He's incapable of being a menace to society."

Being smarter than most, he was less affected by this power of hers." Well miss McKellen, your words seem to be true, so I'll tell you what, your a strong believer in him being a good kid, I give you legal guardianship of him, you will be responsible for all he does, case closed, I'm very busy with cases because of his kind."

William let go, he understood what just happened, but didn't believe, he was free. He jumped away a bit when he almost touched her stomach. "Danke, miss McKellen, danke, danke." His child like mind didn't care about the other part, he didn't know what it meant.

"WHAT!" Sarah Almost yelled. "You ... Can't be serious ... I ... he .... it! NO!" her composure was completely gone, didn't really matter now though, case was closed. the judge's eye's widened in mock surprise. "Oh, but Miss Mc'Kellen you where so keen to see him walk away, I thought it would make you happy?"

Gryphon's mind screamed in confusion, a bird-like screech erupted from his mouth. Scrambling to his feet, he ignored his instinct to flee immediately. Walter didn't have a labcoat on, luckily. Nor did he carry a gun. He chirped, attempting to be friendly for a strange, bird-like man.

Walter looked at the angel, thinking of his god, and how he had angels working for him. "Well, you can't speak, but you seem nice." He drew a helmet in the air with his pencil. "Do you want something to eat?" All he could think was that human or angel, this thing was worth being nice to.
