Hello everyone. The reason i am here is because i have always daydreamed up random ficional characters (likely due to how many fiction novels i read) and think that i could form a hobby with them. I find RPing to be very exciting and allows people to express themselves/learn and that is in part why im here. I aim to have fun and learn how to RP effectively. I have RPed only a little (I loosely run Naruto RP that took a nosedive really early from lack of good rpers, and tried a more structured RP that you couldnt sneeze without an officer noticing). I have also started the all popular tabletop war game Warhammer 40K. I have read many authors in science fiction/fantasy and they have most certainly inspired me to be creative.

My goal here is to learn how to better connect with your own character and how to tell what your character is doing/feeling in great detail. I hope that these goals can be met and i look forward to learning!

Anyways, about me. I am 14 years old and am currently an 8th grader, soon to be a ninth grader once school i over. My hobbies are reading (a lot, when i get into it i can read over 4000 pages in 6 days), playing Warhammer (beginning at it, hard to fund at my age), hanging out with my friends (Bigdreamer recently joined this site and he led me here), and playing videogames(I prefer combat ones, FPS are decent but i prefer RPGs). I am a good student. More A's then B's. My favorite authors for reading include Terry Brooks, Robert Jordan (to bad he passed away, he had originality), J.R.R Tolkien, Joseph Paulini, and the Black Library Writers Dan Abnett and Graham McNeil. My favorite genre is Sci-fi/fantasy and that is all that i read. Another one of my hobbies is painting Warhammer miniatures and i take great pride in that. In addition to these, im a borderline naruto fanatic and read the manga about that.

Hello there. I am Ryand-Smith. I am an avid fan of the Mobile Suit Gundam, and I like the idea of classic die based roleplay as a way to express oneself. As a fan of this, as well as other series staring giant mecha. I am pleased to read your well thought out introduction post. It is quite well done, and I feel that you will be a good player on this part of the net. I personally am more open to genres of literature, from sci-fi, to historical period dramas, to modern books on political commentary. (I am America, and So can you is a great read.) With most of your reading being of the fantasy kind, I hope that you've already had a chance to visit the Fantasy Forum part of the site. New RPs are popping up every day, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding one you can dive right on into. Just make sure you read the rules set by the creator of the thread, because they all have different preferences on character sheets, post order, etc.
