Hello roleplayers!

Ok so, as you may or may not have already guessed, this is based on the tv show/books, Gossip Girl. But just while I've got your attention, this roleplay needs guys too!

The RP is set in New York, the Upper East Side-but you can come from anywhere in New York, just remember the school (St. Margarets) is in the Upper East Side. It's about the rich, poor and famous, how they mix together and how gossip makes them thrive.
So for those of you who don't know what Gossip Girl is I'll try and explain best I can. So there is going to be a group of teens (sophmores, juniors and seniors needed) and as well as all the personal stuff they have going on with rich, absent parents, boyfriends, girlfriends and school work they have an online blogger called Gossip Girl who takes their personal lives and tells it to the world. And she does this by "anonymous" tips. And as soon as it's posted on the Gossip Girl site, it gets e-mailed to everyones phones, so your character could get slammed anywhere, anyplace.

I will be posting the gossip girl posts, not my character but me myself. And once we start the roleplay you can PM me with an anonymous tip, with a juicy bit of gossip. It could be about your character, or someone elses character. Nothing too viscious! I won't post it if it's horrible. Just remember that gossip doesn't have to be true. And by the end of the RP I might reveal someone to be the real gossip girl, so be careful of your frenemies!

Appearence (No anime or cartoons please): Very petite, she has dark ebony hair which curls loosely and finishes below her waist. She has bright emerald green eyes, a beauty mark on her right cheek, and she has a black tattoo of a heart on her hand, on the upper fleshy bit of her palm. She also has more than a few piercings. She has her ear lobes done twice, her tragus (lone inner part of the ear), helix (top outer bit), her aurecule (middle outer bit) and her navel pierced.
SHORT History: Although her mother loves George, she is always busy with her chain of shops and never as time for her daughter. Her father is the cold one, he is also incredibly busy and never has time to spend at home as he is always off on business trips. Which translates to screwing his secretary. Because of her problems at home, George acts out by partying and doing whatever she wants when she wants. Whether it's maxing out her credit card or passing out in Blomingdales after a morning drinking spree- she does it all.
Personality: Can seem cold on occasion, but to those who know her well she is kind and caring and always protects her friends fiercely.

SHORT History: Growing up, Syonna has always gotten what she wanted, whether it was new clothes, accessories, or even pets. Life was perfect for Syonna, the only child of Paul and Adonya. Father was a big music producer, so Syonna got to go to a lot of free concerts, and she also got to spend a lot of time at home with her mother while her father worked away from home. That is until Adonya’s fashion industry expanded and became world known, pulling Adonya all over the world, and away from her family. Now, Adonya is barely at home, along with Paul, and Syonna has free reign over the entire three story town house.

Personality: Syonna can be a very nice person, that is, if you are a friend. If you get on her bad side, however, be prepared to pay the consequences. Nobody wants Syonna Duprèz as an enemy. That is, unless you have a death wish for your public life. She WILL ruin your reputation.

Choice Subjects (Important to your character): Fashion, English, History, Music. She would love to learn how to decorate cakes from her best friend's mother.

SHORT History: Her mother had met her father back in India, and immediately fell in love. They had Sarasa in India, and didn't move to America until she was around three years old. She adapted to America quickly, becoming quite the well-known person, thanks to her father's talk show, and the new fashion line her mother had set up. They're still involved with Indian culture, but she only dresses like that for special occasions, or when she's in the mood. She's been at the Upper East Side since Freshman year. Since her mother never seems to be home, she spends most of her time with her father, who's talk show is located right in New York.
Personality: Bubbly, and optimistic. She's rude toward people she doesn't know, unless she knows that she can give them a chance. Or unless her family's around. She has a soft side, and she's incredibly nice, but only when she's not with her (rich) friends.
Choice Subjects (Important to your character): Music, Art, Drama, photography, and English. (She wants to write a book, but is settling for plain old writing and typing online.)

Her mother on the other hand was born and raised in Brooklyn. Her parents met at the restaurant her mother was working at to help pay for college. It was love at first sight and they married after dating for a few months. No one was happy but soon Evelyn was born. She was raised on the Upper East Side but her mother made sure she wasn't spoiled. She is extremely smart but doesn't always show it.

SHORT History: CK grew up on the upper east side. This is his domain, his territory, although he's spent a fair amount of his time in Miami and Los Angeles, even some time in Europe. He's basically gotten everything he's wanted since he was born. He's been pampered since birth.
Personality: CK's habits of getting what he wants when he wants it isn't limited to mere things. As far as he's concerned he can have any girl he wants as well. He doesn't cheat normally, it just makes things messy and dramatic. He's certainly no saint and doesn't mind being a sinner.

Between working on location, attending premiers and events and networking he is barely home. Zara does not work, however she is highly involved in charities and other social events, and is always at her husband's side, no matter where he is.
Appearence (No anime or cartoons please): Long blond wavy hair, grey eyes.

SHORT History: Elle was born in London, England. Her parents were both born and raised on the Upper East Side and they both moved to England where they attended university. When Elle's father's career took off her family moved back to the Upper East Side since he would be spending a lot of his time between NYC and LA. However, Elle was just 10 years old and she didn't want to move away so her parents enrolled her in boarding school which she attended up until this year. Elle is a little nervous to start school on the Upper East Side and she isn't quite sure what to expect. On the outside she seems like a perfect little British girl, but she is far from that, she loves to go out and have fun. Elle's boyfriend of two years, Luke remains in England and they wanted to try out the "long distance relationship".

Personality: Elle is a very outgoing girl, she is full of confidence and it shows, she is super bubbly, yet she can be quite snobby. She is a genuinely sweet person, but if someone treats her or her friends badly she will not hold back. She is also very trusting, at times too much so.

SHORT History: RC was born into the wealth and luxuries of the Upper East Side. As a young child, he got everything he ever wanted. Even as he grew into a teenage boy, he attracted many girls, earning himself a reputation as a womanizer. But now that he’s nearing the ripe age of eighteen, he is quickly learning that he needs to be act more mature and face the responsibilities of adulthood. He feels that he is ready to step away from his childish antics and pursue a serious relationship. The only question is: with whom?
Personality: RC is very flirtatious and quite perverted. His sarcastic sense of humor attracts many girls, and he uses that to his advantage. He’s never really had any serious relationships, but he is now open to them. He is easily bored and is always trying to find something to entertain him. He is also extremely confused, not really knowing what he wants in his life. His future has practically been planned out for him, but perhaps there’s something more to life than becoming the CEO of Wellington Industries.

RC is more of a player, and he isn't quick to enter in relationships. He's definitely open to taking Syonna out to dinner though.
I can't wait for this thing to start. It looks like it's going to be fun.
