Hey Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl here,
So, it's a brand new semester at St. Margarets, that means a whole lot of new gossip. Aren't you excited? I know I am.
I already have a few things to share, but I'm saving them for just the right time. So enjoy a fresh start while you can, it won't last long.

George sighed as she looked at the latest Gossip Girl post on her iPhone, rolling her eyes slightly, as she put her phone back in her Marc Jacobs purse. She blew into the Starbucks cup she was currently holding to try and cool down the black tea. She was on The Met steps waiting for her friends to turn up, so they could enjoy breakfast and a few minutes away from school. It was already cold and George pulled her red light weight coat around her tighter.

"Geez can no one be on time, it's frickin cold! It's meant to be my job to be late." She muttered to herself and pouted huffily, taking a gulp of tea.

A black car with tinted windows pulled up in front of The Met. It was stopped for a good minute before anyone got out. When the door opened, out stepped Syonna, spiced chai tea and purple Blackberry in hand. She had just finished reading the latest Gossip Girl post, and couldn't wait to hear what juicy gossip GG already had...She just hoped it wasn't about her. Syonna spotted George and headed towards the girl.

'Sorry I'm late. Daddy was in town and wanted to take me to coffee...Needless to say, he got a call ten minutes in and had to rush to the airport to fly out to Mulan." Syonna rolled her eyes as she took a sip of her chai. It wasn't as if she weren't used to her father jetting off like this, she just wished that he would show a tad bit of interest in his only child.

"About frickin time!" George half yelled, jumping up from her seat on the steps and hugging her best friend before sitting back down.

"I was so bored. I'm guessing you read the latest post. What do you reckon she has? Pregnancy? Cheating? Sex scandal? Oh, crap, what if it's about me? I can't remember half the stuff I did in the summer, I was so drunk. Damn." George trailed off looking to the stone steps and frowning slightly, she slowly turned her face to see Syonna, her green eyes getting an evil tint,

"Wait, you haven't done anything naughty have you? Please tell me it's nothing to do with RC, I see the way you look at him missus!"

Elle had been walking around the Upper East Side since 5am, she was still on British time therefore it would've 10am in London and she was wide awake. Maybe it also had to do with the first day of school jitters, but she could easily shake them walking around and listening to her ipod. New York lived up to it's name, the city that never sleeps, it was true the city was as lively as ever at 5am. She had been texting her boyfriend Luke when she got another text, something that she wasn't expecting. It was the new Gossip Girl post! Right when Elle had arrived to NYC she had found out about GG, and had immediately checked her website, she found out that GG mainly talked about her new school; St. Margaret's. The post seemed kinda ominous... Elle wondered what was to come.

She was just passing by The Met, and she looked up to see two girls sitting on the steps, they looked her age, and the identical uniforms were a bit of a give away, she decided to go up and introduce herself.

"Hello!" She said cheerily, "I'm Elle, er j-judging by your uniforms I assume you go to St. Margaret's? I'm new here, I'm going to be going into, um... I think you call it sophmore year?" she said with a big smile. She hoped that she wasn't interrupting anything.

"Hi. I'm Georgiana. This is Syonna. And yeah, we go to St. M's, and yes we're sophmores. So you're new eh?" George said in a cold tone to the nervous girl looking her over and cocking her head slightly, before looking to her friend,

"What'd you think Si? Shall we show her the ropes? Can't hurt right?"

Syonna shot a dark look at the new girl who had interrupted her and George's conversation. She was just about to tell George that she, too, didn't remember most of her summer, but she wasn't about to go into detail with this girl here.

"Yah, I guess we can show her around. Make sure she doesn't become the star of GG...at least not at first." Syonna gave George a smirk, knowing that everyone was featured on the gossip site atleast once in their high school career, and it wasn't usually a good thing.

Evelyn sighed as she shrugged on her navy blue cardigan. She was standing in front of her full length mirror, getting ready for the first day of school. She was so glad it was her junior year. That meant that she only had this year and the next to worry about Gossip Girl posting about her. Something that annoyed her to no end. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail as she walked towards her walk in closet that was over flowing with designer clothes. Some that she had never even worn yet. She grabbed a pair of white prada peek toe pumps and slid them on. She knew that they weren't supposed to wear those kind of shoes but everyone did anyways.

She suddenly heard her phone go off from it's spot on her nightstand. She raised an eye brow, having the feeling she knew what it was. She walked across her bedroom and picked up her phone. She slipped it open to show the full key board as her eyes scanned the first Gossip Girl blast for the year. She was so glad that nothing had been told yet. She hated when something about her was written about. She looked at the time and figured she mine as well leave now. She would probably stop at the Met and talk to a few friends. Before she would actually head to school.

She grabbed her brand new Marc Jacob's purse and her phone before walking out of her room. She stopped to say good morning to both parents. Her father was already on the phone, talking to a client. She shrugged as she headed down to the street where her town car was waiting. Soon the car was pulling to a stop in front of the Met. She thanked her driver before climbing out. She hoisted the strap of her purse further up her shoulder, noticing both Georgiana and Syonna. They were talking to a rather nervous looking girl. She rolled her eyes as she walked towards them," Georgina, Syonna, scaring the new girl already?"

"Awesome. That's my new favourite word by the way." George told Syonna quickly and sending her a look which said 'You're not getting out of this we'll talk later.'

She looked up suddenly at a new voice "Evelyn!" She cried, and shot her a massive smile, "I'm not scaring anyone! You're not either are you Si?" She stuck her tongue out at Evelyn and turned back to the new girl,

"So what's your name?" She asked the new girl quickly, still looking her over to see if her fashion sense was up to scratch. She pursed her lips, 'Not bad for the new girl.' She thought to herself before lifting her gaze to the girls pretty face, and tucking a stray curly lock behind her ear.

Elle was relieved that the girls had decided to somewhat take her under their wing... well for now at least. To be completely honest, Elle was definitely intimidated by the two beautiful girls. Elle normally didn't care what people thought of her, but she felt herself feeling a little more nervous that usual... Did they like her? She seemed a little skeptical. Although, of course they hadn't gotten to know her yet.

She turned around when she heard someone else, she was a beautiful girl in the same blue cardigan as the three of them wore, she smiled at her as she approached. Elle then went on to continue her conversation with Georgiana.

"Right, well nice to meet you Georgiana and Sy-syonna. I'm Elle Smithson, I'm from London." She stumbled over their names, her friends back home all had simple names like Jane and Lily. She took a seat next to Syonna, "Cute purse, Marc Jacobs?" She pointed at Georgiana's purse, "I used to have that one! Anyways, so tell me about this ominous Gossip Girl thing? We didn't have anything like this back at Charter House - that was the boarding school I went to in England." She quickly added in.

"Us, scaring people? Wouldn't dream of it, Evelyn.We're just showing Elle here the ropes." Syonna glanced at the new girl, who had decided to take a seat next to her.

"Gossip Girl...Oh, it's nothing you should worry about...Unless you have some dark secrets that you don't want anyone to read about. Gossip Girl WILL find out and she WILL post it, no matter how bad it is. She sends out a post to everyone, so that the most treasured details of your life are told to the entire school. Well, there are those few who chose not to receive the posts, but I advise you to. Here, give me your phone." Syonna held her manicured hand out to Elle.

"Am I leaving anything out, George?" She added.

Evelyn tried not to roll her eyes at Georgina. She knew that the younger girl was up to something. She just hoped that it wasn't going to end badly. She looked over at the new girl who looked scared out of her mind. Clearly, she had no idea what she was getting herself to. But she was sure to find out soon. She figured that she mine as well introduce herself before leaving. She hadn't planned on sticking around for long. She would rather not have to deal with anyone else that showed up at the steps. One of them being RC Wellington, the legendary womanizer.

She turned towards the new girl and cleared her throat," I'm Evelyn, Evelyn GoldSmith." She heard someone shouting her name and looked over her shoulder. She saw that it was one of her friends from her actual grade level. She shrugged as she looked back at the new girl, remembering that her name was Elle," Good luck here at St.Margarets,Elle, trust me, your going to need it." She smiled at all three of them before hurrying down the steps and over to her friend. She knew that this year was going to be interesting. Considering that there was a new girl in the picture.

Georgiana scowled at the term 'Use'. 'Does this girl think this purse is out of season! Where the hell has she been?! It's from the new autumn line! Just out, I'll show this prissy English girl "use" needs her frickin' eyes tested' She fumed internally, but externally she smiled stiffly to the new girl,

"You're not missing anything S." Georgiana told her friend happily

"Bye Evelyn" She muttered under her breath,

"Yeah, so basicly new girl, you don't want to piss anyone off. It could get you black listed socially."

Syonna smiled at George's statement, knowing that she was already pissed off at the girl's comment about her purse.

"Yah, one small thing could separate a good school year from a completely hellish one. And believe me, whatever GG posts, no matter how truthful it is or isn't, we usually believe her. She is our one common source for the latest deets, and she never fails to lay down juicy gossip." Syonna finished her tea and began scanning the crowded sidewalks, hoping to catch a glimpse of...someone...

Elle was shocked at finding out exactly what Gossip Girl did. She was silent for a minute "Oh, that seems rather... scary." Said Elle. She thought to herself, she didn't really have any secrets she wanted to keep from GG... well there was the one time back home, but nah she wouldn't be interested in that, and anyways how exactly would she find out!

"Nice to meet you Evelyn!" She said cheerily, but she was too late as Evelyn had already run off somewhere else.

"I think I've already got it on my phone, although I'm not positive it's the right thing." She said as she handed her Blackberry Bold to the perfectly manicured outstretched hand of Syonna. She looked at her own hand, she was quite pleased with herself, she had gotten her nails done during the time she was gala banding around the city. "Oh, be sure to add your number in." She quickly added.

She got a strange feeling when Georgiana added in that she shouldn't piss anyone off, there was something about the way she said it... had Elle already succeeded in doing the wrong thing?

"Right, don't piss anyone off. Seems simple enough right?" She laughed, knowing that she was completely wrong. It was far from simple.

She noticed Syonna scanning the crowd, she wondered who she was looking for? She secretly hoped there wasn't another one of them to make her morning even more pleasant.

George rolled her eyes at Syonna's wandering eyes, she knew exactly who she was looking for, but decided not to say anything with Elle around, and once Syonna had finished with Elle's phone she tapped her own number in,

"C'mon we'd better head to school. Wouldn't dream of being late, Headmaster Keller would have a fit." George drawled out sarcastically, heaving herself from the steps tiredly and almost had to drag Syonna with her.

"This way new girl." She hearded Elle,

Evelyn glanced over her shoulder, she could tell that Elle had already done something wrong. She wanted to tell her about what she should and shouldn't do. But she knew that Georgina probably wanted the poor girl to learn it on her own. She would try to catch up with her later and talk to her. She didn't want to see yet another girl turn into one of Georgina's victims. It never would end well for the girl. She shrugged as she began to talk to her friend. She was debating on heading to school already.

She glanced around to see who else had arrived. Everyone usually hung out at the Met or at least on the steps before school started. Her eyes landed on a few guys that were staring at Georgina already. She rolled her eyes as she looked back at her friend. She wondered when Gossip Girl was going to send out another blast. She guessed that it would be soon. After all, she loved to create drama for everyone.

Syonna eyed Elle's hand, which were also manicured. You can learn a lot about a person by the way they take care of their fingernails. She checked that the phone was equipped with the correct site, and it was. Syonna decided against being rude, and put her number in the phone under 'S' and handed the Blackberry back to Elle.

"I don't hand my number out to just anyone...so don't make me regret my decision." She told Elle, giving her a completely serious look. She watched as George also put her number in.

Syonna met George's gaze, glad that her friend had kept quite in front of the new girl. She got up and flattened her shorter-than-allowed skirt and followed George down the steps.

"So, as I was saying before...I don't think that I'll be the first hit on GG...Afterall, I was in Germany for most of the summer, but I can't be completely sure that my friends with me didn't relay anything."

"You, know it wasn't me, anywho. God, this is making me so nervous, I wish she'd get on with it already! Or maybe not depending on what she has." George uttered to herself,

"Hey! Fuckwit! My eyes are up here!" George yelled at a guy grumpily snapping her fingers in front of him to get his attention away from her chest,

"You'd think they'd be use to the idea of boobs already." She grumbled.

Elle took her phone back from Syonna, what did she mean by regretting giving her her phone number? "You definitely won't regret it." She said with a smile, although unsure of what she was talking about, she still said it with an air of confidence.

The girls quickly got up and starting walking down the steps, Elle didn't want to follow but since Georgiana had basically told her to come, she decided that she might as well go along. Elle eyed Evelyn in the crowd smiling and laughing, she seemed like a nice girl, Elle thought.

"Oh fun Germany, I spent a term there with my school last year. Where abouts were you? And why would your friends relay stuff? That doesn't seem like something friends would do," She added in.

All this talk about the next GG blast was making Elle nervous, surely it wouldn't be about her... right?

Evelyn glanced at her watch, realizing she needed to get to school at that point. She bit her lip as she began to walk towards the school. She was extremely nervous about the first Gossip Girl blast. She wished that she knew who it was about. She knew that there was a chance it could be her. Then again, it could be about anybody. She just hoped that it wasn't her.

She looked around when she spotted Georgina and Syonna walking. Elle was following them just like Evelyn knew she would be. She decided that she was going to do something she wouldn't normally do. She excused herself and walked towards the three girls once again," Excuse me girls but do you think I could borrow Elle for a second?" She didn't want to wait for an answer but she figured she would be nice.
