In Yamashita High everything seems normal. It looks like a normal boarding school. The students look normal but some of them are nukekubi (demons who detach their heads to feast on humans. In an earlier life they were humans themselves.). Every night one or two student disappear. No one knows what happened to them. By day the nukekubi look, live and act like normal humans.

Personality: By day shes kind and goodhearted. By night she cant fight against the hunger for flesh.
Bio: Rin was a village girl in the late 14th century. After she tried to fight against pillaging samurai, they decapitated her and buried her. 600 years later she was resurrected through a ritual. Since then shes been a nukekubi. Now she attend Yamashita High.

Bio: After dieing from an unknown disease sometime around the 16th century, she ressurected as a nukekubi and attended school, trying to force herself away from the habits of nukekubi. Didnt work too well.

Bio: Alex grew up in a average family, her dad's a mechanic and her mom is a kindergarden teacher. There's really not much left about Alex's past, shortly after she turned 16, her mom died from leukimia, and her dad couldn't handle the pressure of taking care of a teenage girl, so he handed her over to her grandparents, and she still lives with them.

His parents are seperated, his father a computer technician, his mother a real estate agent. Marriage issues caused the two to split and they both recieved custody of Gene. He prefers his father's fun-loving nature, rubbing off on Gene usually.

Koi [Kenneth] Stands at roughly six foot. He has short brown hair and dark green eyes. He often wears scarfs or collars to hide his markings. He usually wears loose fitting denim jeans and black shoes, along with a white shirt and a plain white tee under that.

Bio:
Koi has been a Nukekubi for as long as he cares to remember. Not to say that he doesn't enjoy it. Spending his time hanging around with humans, rather than other Nukekubi, he has become fascinated by them and has spent his time in schools trying to learn as much as he can.
When he isn't floating around trying to kill people, he likes to play video games and eat candy. As his body has a strange metabolism, he never seems to put on weight, something he thinks must be related to his being non-human.

Personality:
Quircky, but sometimes cold and emotionless. He is usually the first to make jokes, and is extremely irresponsible.

Other: Koi has a strange fascination with ball-jointed dolls.

Personality:She is a very kind, but when someone makes her angry her temper flares. The words tiny, shrimp, and stump are taboo words so no one can say them around her. She is very protective of the people who she cares about and will hurt anyone who hurts them. She is also hyper.
Bio:Rei is part of a very big family. She has 4brothers and 3 sisters. She is the oldest in the family. Her parents couldn't handle them all so they left Rei in charge and abandoned the kids. Now Rei looks after the her siblings as good as any parent would.
