Rin woke up and got around for school. She went downstairs to her mother, who was still scratching her throat. "Mother, stop. You'll kill yourself." Rin looked at her mother, who was Rena. Keiichi was out of the picture, he couldn't take Rena and Rin insanity. Rena smiled at her daughter. "Go off to school. I'll be fine." "But-" "Just go." Rena said as she shoved Rin out the door.

Sunyasa was already waiting on the corner, clutching her lunch-bag tightly as the wind blew her long blue hair. She was waiting for Rin, but as usual, she came a bit too early for her friend. She attended the same school as Rin, but even though they weren't in the same grade, they were in the same class. She was young, only in grade six, a twelve year old child of Rika. She was in her regular school uniform, brown eyes looking from left to right for her friend so that she could begin their path to school. She blinked and smiled when she saw Rin, instantly lighting up at the sight of her friend. "Ri-Chan, Ohayo!" She waved at her as she walked. "Your late again." She announced, now walking along-side Rin.

Rika often shared stories of her past with her only daughter, Sunyasa. She knew everything about the 'curse' and promised to stay as far away from it as possible... So that she wouldn't end up like her mother, telling stories about the past to her children, and scaring them. She often found herself in a postition, where she felt possesed, the need to hurt or kill things. She killed her only cat, and one of her classmates, as well as one of her teachers as well. Nobody knows that though, and recently, she was able to keep her temper under control. Thinking of the sight she saw that day when she killed her classmate, she winced, remembering it all.

"You little loser, you little loser!!" The girl chanted with her friends. She chanted, and chanted, and chanted it over and over again. Sunyasa got sick of it. She didn't like bullies. She got up, slowly. Then walked up to the girl, with one swift motion of her hand, she slapped the girl to the ground. The classmate knocked over a few chairs and desks, and her friends quickly rushed to her side. They left just as quickly, however, when the sound of a chair being dragged echoed in the class. Sunyasa dragged the chair up to her, and hit her with it atleaste twenty-times. "This is what bullies deserve." She said in a dark voice, once she was finnished hitting the girl. "I endured your words because I didn't want to hurt you... But now you've crossed the line... If you ever want to get hurt again... Try me." Later on that day, she saw the girl walking with her friends, talking about her. "Thats Sunyasa girl is such a bully..." She said. "No wonder why they all hate her." Another girl said. Sunyasa hid behind a tree, listening to everything they had to say, until her friends went away. She then grabbed a rock from off the floor, a big one. Then she creept up behind that classmate, and hit her in the head with the rock. She dragged her up the path, to the mountain she always went to, and then broke both of the girl's leggs before that girl woke up. She sat down on the side of the mountain for 30 minutes, until that classmate woke up. She tried to get on her feet. "OW! It hurts! It hurts!" The girl cried. "Y-You! What did you do to me?!" she screamed at Sunyasa. Sunyasa simply turned around, a big knife in her hand. "I only did what you asked for." She said, blankly.
"I didn't ask for anything, you big creep!!!" She said. Sunyasa sighed, and stood up, walking to the girl, and stabbed her hand. The girl screamed out in pain as Sunyasa wiggled the knife in her arm. "It hurts doesn't it!" She yelled. "Its how I feel!!" She pulled the knife out of her hand, and the girl let out a sigh. She was breathing hard now, and Sunyasa smirked, enjoying every minute of the control she had over the girl. She got on top of her, and placed the knife on the side of her head. She then ran it down her skin, cutting it, from her head, until she reached her neck. "See you..." She muttered. "See you... IN HELL!!" She stabbed the girl's neck. Blood sprayed out of it, and the girl trembled with pain until her eyes rolled back in her head. Sunyasa laughed, and laughed, and laughed as she pushed the body, with the knife in it, down the mountain. It rolled until it reached the beach, and Sunyasa watched as it floated out of the horizon... That body was never found again, and Sunny's laugh could be heared throughout the town as she ran. "I did it! I did it! She won't ever bother me again~" She cheered, running into the forest...

From then on.. She promised that that wouldn't have to happen again... No not ever again.

Wait, what’s that noise? Oh. It’s my alarm clock.

Beep! Beep! Be-

The constant on and off alarm was cut short as a hand came slamming down on the snooze button. Two groggy eyes creaked open and immediately shrunk into slits as unwelcome light came bursting in. Slowly the same hand that silenced the alarm clock moved in front of the girl’s face, creating a small shadow that shielded her eyes from the brightness. Sooner than later the realization struck that it was time to get up. That realization become more real as her gaze met the neon numbers sitting in front of the black background of her clock.

“FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU-“ Matsu cursed loudly as she sprang out of bed and dashed out the door with her bag in hand. Thankfully she didn’t exactly feel like wearing her pajamas last night, and she could easily worry about brushing her hair at school. That saved some time. Although from what the clock told her she only had minutes to get to the school from her house. Shit! Why didn’t I hear the alarm ealier!? Did it even go off ealier!?

With the teen’s attention directed away from where she was running, the rock that caused her to fall remained invisible. A cloud of dirt swam into the air as Matsu’s whole body spilled onto the ground. “Just what I needed.” She mumbled as she got up and brushed off a few splashes of dirt off her. This time she started walking as opposed to running.

Ever since the death of her parents two years ago, she found herself becoming more and more disorganized by the day. This was the third time in a row she woke up late and her tiny house was becoming a mess. And the fact that she didn’t really have any friends on her side didn’t help at all.

“Maybe I should move in with Yuudai.” Matsu talked to herself, referring to her cousin that lived in the city a little ways away. “Nah, no way could I stand all that noise.” Something else that happened in those two years is that Matsu began speaking to herself. “Maybe if I’m lucky she’ll come and move into the village…”

Rin smiled at her friend, knowing that she was late. "Sorry, Sunny. Had to take care of my mother before she killed herself...." Rin and Sunny (with the exception of some others...) were the only ones who still knew of the Hinamizawa Syndrome. Rin knew all about the girl who had bullied Sunny......the girl WAS a bully. But Rin frowned when she saw the grimacing of Sunny. "Hey, that was a while ago. She deserved everything that you did to her. I would have loved to do that to her myself, I just never found out she was doing those things to you until after she died...."

Rika and Rena were still friends, and Rika was help Rin control her Syndrome. Rin hasn't killed anyone since she was five.....but Rin remembered it all. All the blood, all the bodies, all the gore.....she had almost killed Keiichi, if he hadn't told Rena to stop her.

Sunny smiled at Rin. "I know." She said, softly. "But its pretty scary... Thinking somebody like me could do such a thing." She smiled. She heared rapid footstepps comming noticably closer. She gasped and took a big step away from Rin. The girl then ran right in between them, and then fell down. Sunny was worried for the girl, but she just got up. Sunny let out a sigh of relief, atleast she was okay. Giving Rin a look, she ran up to the girl. "Hello, I'm Sunyasa Iku... I'm in your class?" She said to the girl. "I saw you fall back there... Are you okay?"

Hearing a voice speak from behind made Matsu jump, but she turned around and faced the girl with a flustered smile. "O-oh, hi, um... Sunyasa! Y-yeah... I'm okay..." Most of the time she was this edgy when talking to someone she didn't know very well. Especialy when that person caught her on the act of something embarrassing. Like, tripping as an example. Her red eye that wasn't shielded by hair shifted over and caught the sight of what seemed to be the girl's friend.

"Um... I-I'm Matsu by the way. I-i-it's nice to meet you!" Matsu introduced herself while bowing down a bit. The thing with this teen was that she was shy, but not the cutesy girl kind of shy. More like, she tries to be assertive but fails at it.

Sunny pouted. "So formal?" She smiled. "You can call me Sunny, thats what all my friends call me." She said, politly, bowing when Matsu bowed. "Matsu.. Such a pretty name!" She said. "Kawaii~~" She chanted. "Thats my friend, Rin." She pointed at Rin. "Its nice to meet you too by the way. Want to walk with us to school?" She asked her. She concitered Matsu to be a new friend, and she should be treated as such. She tugged on Matsu's arm.

Nezo Bawashi's plan was simple, well his mission was. To find the infected, and remove them from the Population. The Organization's plan to deal with the mental disease, inflicting the children of Higruashi was simple. They would collect the infected, and get the normal one's to safety. Is this really right though? Kidnapping.. His partner was driving his car, both were armed with tasers. "Look Nezo..man chill, we doing this to help people." Nezo nodded, he wanted to help people but he felt like tasering children infected or not wasn't right. Nezo was headed to school, he taught Biology there. There he could teach, and figure out which students were..infected.

Rin smiled at Matsu, and waved to her. "Would you like to walk with us to school? It's not that far from here." Rin looked at a car as it passed by, recognizing the man in the passenger seat. "Isn't that Mr. Bawashi the Biology teacher?" The school has expanded the teachers, but they were still all in one class. "Come on! We're going to be late!!" Rin said as she shot forward, ready to face the school year.

Matsu found it difficult to talk as the pockets of silence between the words both girls spoke where small. She caught site of a teacher driving by and soon the girl known as Rin sped off in the same direction, not wanting to be late. The white haired girl wasn't too sure how to react as Sunny pulled on her arm, so she allowed herself to be dragged on. Everything seemed to be happening so fast. One second she has no friends, the next she does. Truth be told, Matsu wasn't sure if she should be glad or not. The last time she ever had a friend was a long, long time ago. For now she decided to pretend it was a good thing. Even if in reality it isn't.

Sunny ran after Rin with Matsu. "Rin! Your going to pull something if you run like that!" She said. She supposed Rin was trying to catch up to the car, or reach to school early. Having being stoped by Matsu, they became off topic and were running a tad late. "Ri-Chan!" She whined, trying to run faster, but she was never really a fast runner. She sighed, relising she couldn't catch up with her but still kept running anyway.

Rin heard Sunny behind her. She slowed, they were almost to the school. "COME ON!!!" Rin said right before she entered the school. One classroom, but more teachers. "HEY PEOPLE!!!" Rin was always the loud one of their school. She looked at the car that had pulled in, guessing it was the teacher she had seen earlier. 'Hope they don't find out about Mom, Sunny, and me.' Rin thought to herself. She turned around and waited for her friend to come into the building as well.

Seeing the other two jet off towards the school made Matsu pick up speed as well. Although she trailed way behind all thanks to her lack of exercise. Funny, but as her gaze locked on the girls in front of her, she couldn't help but wonder if they were really willing to be her friend. They sure acted like it, but then again they seemed invisible to each other to this day despite the fact they go to school together. How would one random fall create a friendship? That was something for Matsu to add onto her mental list of "Things I wish I Knew but Don't." If Rin and Sunny did decide on befriending her than that brings up another question: will they be friends that can be trusted?

As if the thought was some kind of secret code, images were released in the albino's head. A round face with almond eyes and platinum blonde hair spilling out like a waterfall popped into mind. The size her head was compared to the rest of her body suggested that the girl was a little older than eleven. Her pink lips curved into an innocent smile as her dark eyes happily greeted Matsu. “Ma-chan!” She chimed.

Without a moment’s hesitation the image was kicked out of Matsu’s head. Despite the joyfulness that was held there, she knew very well that things could change in a heartbeat. That girl… Matsu thought she was a friend… but then…

“Gah!” The white haired girl was pulled out of her thoughts as yet another rock secretly made its way underfoot. This time though she was able to catch herself before hitting the ground. For a minute or two, she just stood there. A bead or two or sweat slid down her face. The girl she remembered was someone she forgot even existed until now. Even know she walked out of her life just two years ago. The same year Matsu lost her parents and her existense became known.

Looking up, Matsu realized that Rin and Sunny had disappeared. Which either meant they already ended the friendship or school had already started. With a heavy sigh, she decided not to find out the answer to that question and hauled herself inside.

Smiling, Sunny followed Rin inside. "Ohayo~" She chimed, cutely. She looked out of the door and pouted. "Do you not want to go to school, Matsu-Chan?" She asked, taking the girl's hand and dragging her inside. She pulled her on a chair, there was an extra one at they're table which held four people. She motioned for her to take a seat in the extra seat. There was an extra boy who sat there, but he was late for school most of the time.

Rin smiled as Matsu and Sunny came in. "Ohayo!!!" She said back. She sat at the table with Sunny and Matsu. "So, Matsu was it? I'm Rin Ryugyuu." Rin sat back in her seat so only the back legs touched the ground. She put her feet on the table and waited for class to start....before she leaned back too far and landed on her back on the tile floor. "Ow." Rin said as she got up. Luckily, only the four people at her table were in the classroom.

Hastily Matsu entered the room and walked over to Sunny and Rin. The chair she pulled back make a sound as it was dragged along the floor, and the white haired girl plopped down onto it. Instantly she darted off into her own thoughts. They weren't about the girl this time though, instead it was simply random stuff. Like how she spilled soda all over her favorite shirt the other day, for example. It wasn't untill her attention returned to the two girls surrounding her when Rin suddenly fell onto the floor. "Are you okay?" Matsu asked, looking over the desks a bit to catch sight of the girl lying on the ground. The blonde stood up okay save for a bruise or two. Could've been worse. The fifteen year old supposed, soon asking "Hey, is there someone else who sits here?"

Sunny sat down silently, as she always did. She looked over at Rin when she fell down, and quickly, as if she was payed to do so, she helped her up. She then sighed. "Rin-chan is always falling down." She said, pouting. She looked over at Matsu when she spoke, and smiled. "Yes, actually." She said. She was about to tell her when the door burst open.

"Ohayo." He said, putting his hand behind his head. "I have arrived."

"Ah, Suzuki-kun." Sunny said. "Ohayo Gozaimasu." She said.

Suzuki smiled. He had brown eyes, blond hair, and was wearing casual clothes. His eyes caught Matsu. "Oh, we have a new girl today, don't we?"

"I suppose." Sunny said, grinning. Even though Matsu was there as long as ever, none of them had noticed her before. "Shes sitting with us now, her name is Matsu. Isn't it pretty?"

"Oh, well nice to meet you." He said, shaking Matsu's hand. "I'm Suzuki, and apperantly, I'm your new best friend."

Alexander was staring out of the window of the train, He would soon arrive in the town that would be his new home. It was a small town where no other Americans lived "I wonder what it will be like there? Mom says its beautiful." Alex thought "I wonder if everything is already unpacked or if I will have to start unpacking today? Knowing mom its all still in boxes" Alex sighed "I'm glad mom sent for me when she did I couldn't take another second of living with my Aunt she's just so boring."

The train was coming to a slow stop so Alex grabbed his Shoulder bag and stood up "I wonder if there are any other kids my age here? Mom says the school is one of those old one class kind so will every one be younger?" Alex stepped off of the train and took a deep breath "Hey there's Mom now." He thought. "Hey!" Hey yelled running up to his mother "How have you been mom?" He said hugging her "I've been great wait till you see this place! Let's Hurry home so we can eat and unpack also don't forget you have a big day ahead of you tomorrow." Alex's mom said "Tomorrow? Tomorrow? Oh yeah my first day at a new school! That should be fun I guess." Alex said Getting into his mothers car.

Manami smiled as she sat in her mother cars on the ride to school "Manami Please behave today I understand that with your 'condition' it could be difficult" her father said smiling over at his daughter "Daddy it is not a condition its a curse " Little Minami responded to her father as she got uout of the car closing the door behind her and skipping off into the building.

Sliding the class room door open she walked over to her desk "Morning everyone!" she said cheerfully.

Makoto looks around as everyone starts getting ready for class. He sits alone in a group of two desks that are set just behind Matsu, Rin, Sunny, and Suzuki. Makoto didn't know them to well but they haven't ticked him of yet so he let them be most of the time. In fact to only time he remembers them even talking to him was when there a group project that spit the class in half and even then he only stayed for about five minuets before he just up and walked out.

As Makoto waited for everyone to get in, so he could decide whether or not he was going to stay in class today, he started to think about his sister. She visited last week and would not be back for at least the next three months but they had fun and it is days like toughs that made him wish that he still lived with her. Makoto quickly shook his head knowing that it was impossible. Ever sense the accident two years ago she was never very comfortable near him and he could never trust himself to be around her as he never knew when he would lose control again and hurt her. it also didn't help that she had a very keen sense that something had happened to there father and that Makoto was probably the cause of it. she never said so but you could tell in the way she talked and in her body language. The few visits every year were nice though and even if he tried to convince himself different Makoto still longed for them.

Makoto woke from memory lane each time someone came in marking the time till class was about to start. "Another five and it should be time" he said to himself as another class mate walked in. Makoto was really starting to hate today. Almost everyone was here today and it was starting to get crowded and slightly loud, two of the things he disliked.
