OOC: This post obviously shows that Jack is still on the side of the Americans, but like i said...Antigonus still believes that if you turn someone a wolf it means that they're loyal to him forever. Just roll with it.

IC:
Jack sat alone in the guest bedroom at the large desk, his feet kicked up on the wood. An owl had just swooped in with a letter in its beak, and now the thing was clenched in his grip. Jake Grose hadn't received a reply from Jessica at school, a sure sign that something was amiss. Jack looked down at the younger man's frantic scrawling--Jessica had been instructed specifically to return all letters and keep the information feed going inside the school.
Jack heaved a heavy sigh--now that Jessica was here at the manor far earlier than anticipated, they were blind to the goings on at Hogwarts. The polyjuice potion plan had been clever, but Jack knew Jessica was smart enough to make at least one good friend in the short week she had been at school, one good friend who would have learned her habits already and was already questioning her motives...
His mail had not been questioned--Antigonus trusted him completely, and believed that if he was contacting the Coven, he was feeding false information back to them. At times Jack lost track of what he really was--double, triple, or even quadruple agent? Both sides had such to offer him...
Jake Grose was worried about his daughter.
Jack pulled a pen (he had not yet adopted the tradition of scribing with quills and inkwells) from his pocket and hurridly began to write a reply. Jessica was safe with them, for now. Do not trust any information feed coming from Hogwarts because at this time it will be tainted. I will try to get Jessica back to the school at once. Do not reply until the second moon.
The American pulled his wand from his pocket and summoned a burst of power--tangled webs, arcing tendrils of energy that twisted together in the shape of a Phoenix. Or was it a Raven?
"Bring this where it needs to go." Jack commanded the cobalt being. It looked at him with ferice eyes and gripped the letter in its beak before lighting off into the night, a sapphire beacon in the darkness.
"Clever trick."
Jack turned and Yates was standing in the doorway, suspicion etched all over his face, "What was in that letter?"
"I don't see why it concerns you, Yates." Jack said, looking at the short squat man with a lot of venom dripping from his voice, "You are meddling."
"I am concerned with the safety of the Wolfram." Yates answered, his teeth clenched together so hard that it was a wonder the words were slipping out.
"As am I, he and i are close friends after all." With this comment, Jack reminded Yates of his slipping position among the wolves, "You are not in a good place to be questioning MY motives."
Yates did not respond.
"Fetch the children. Bring them to me at once. I must have words with them about their conduct."
