I have role played on and off again for near nine years, bouncing between chat groups, forums and the like. The past few years my role playing had become sparse as I could no longer find any place that contained people who held the same interest in great storytelling, thought out role plays and detailed events.

And then I stumble into this place which has apparently been around for years XD Why has this place alluded me for so long!? >_<

Anyways I'm definitely going to be looking around. If anyone can offer any suggestions of RPs or places or people I should check out, let me know~

I bounced around too, before I came here -- I had a brief sting at RoleplayerGuild, RPGAgora and even the Runescape forums! This place managed to keep my attention for the longest, though, and it's basically for the same reasons you cited were things you were looking for.

We've got lots of great RPs here, for any level of writing ability. I'm sure you'll find your niche. I don't know any RPs right off the bat that I could recommend for you, but definitely look around!

As for the looking around itself, you might get a little confused. Navigation on this site can be a bugger, but at least you found your way to the Welcome Desk! lawl. If you have any other questions, just shoot me a PM.

You were right Sato, this place has been quite difficult to navigate. xD I've been mostly checking the roleplayers wanted and roleplay ideas sections in hopes of finding something that catches my eye. Where would the most appropriate area be to toss around ideas? Sometimes I just love to discuss story possibilities and how far a plot can go. Ofcourse even the best Rp's have a habit of dying too quickly.

I've been roleplaying for about... five years on and off but I found this site about a year ago. I know it's hard to navigate, but once you get it, this place is pretty spectacular. ^_^

About you posting your ideas somewhere.... I'd post them in the interest check forum. :3 That's the easiest place to find people who will dig your idea and want to join a future roleplay.

I did just that, checked out the interest check forum for a while, and then finally posted my own idea. this place is so huge, I'm excited for all the possibilities.

*kills Tiko and hides the body* Don't listen to her! I'm fun, really! And if you need anything, I'm normally in the multiverse chat also, so now you have two options.

Tiko and I had a rather similar experience. Everywhere just seemed so sad, and then I found gateway and forced invited Tiko along.
