Everyone has their problems. It's a fact of life. We all have them, and everyone's are different. Some are minor, everyday problems. Some are a lot more serious. And some people just can't cope. They feel trapped, don't know what to do, don't know where to turn. Some take serious action. It doesn't always end well.

That's why this place was set up. This is somewhere where anyone who needs help can get it. Or, that's the plan, anyway. It's not open to the public yet. Right now, it's still on it's test drive. Their trying to make sure their staff are up to par, and are giving them a taste of what's to come.

Teenagers. Possibly the most troubled people in the world. And that's just the normal ones. All the ones with more problems than usual are sent here for help. But the question is, can they be helped? Can people get through to them, and get them through their problems? And, the question everyone is asking, do these people really know how to save a life?

Why Are You Here?;; (Patients Only) Ethan and his girlfriend tried to commit suicide together shortly after the birth of their daughter.

Personality And Bio;; Ethan James Parks was born on the 2nd January, 1992, to a single mother, Rose Parks, who already struggled to earn enough money for her eight-year-old son, Mark. They lived in a tiny, two-roomed apartment in the middle of a rough estate, and she juggled three jobs just to scrape together the money for the rent. On top of this, she had struggled with heroin addiction since she was thirteen years old.

Rose gave birth to her firstborn son when she was fourteen, and her unsupportive family kicked her out. During her pregnancy, she had managed to kick the heroin, but living in friends' houses or in tiny squats soon sent her back to the addiction. Mark would spend the first eight years of his life in and out of care, depending on how stable his mother was.

Rose became involved with John King when she was twenty-one years old. She had met him in a bar, but when she became pregnant, he left quickly and she never saw him again. Ethan was born into one of his mother's more stable periods. She had been free of heroin for seven months, had custody of her son and could pay the rent on the apartment. Rose managed to stay clean for six years, but one night at a club she took heroin, turned up to work the next day high, and was fired. This sent her in a spiralling deterioration, which eventually led to her being sacked from her other two jobs, getting kicked out of her apartment and once more losing custody of her boys.

For the next four years, Ethan would bounce continually between foster houses, care homes and living with his mother during her sober periods. The turning point came when he was ten years old. He and his brother had been seperated for six months, but now they were back together, living in the same care home. Ethan wasn't close to Mark, who was nearly eighteen and a junkie just like his mother. The older boy hated everyone and everything and was about to be convicted for GBH and drug dealing when he was stabbed on the street. He died that night, and his mother wasn't there.

After that, Rose cleaned herself up and was ostensibly drug free, although she still smoked weed and occasionally took LSD. She remarried to a stepfather who Ethan never got along with, but who was important in keeping them together because it was his money that they were currently living off. However, Ethan was never close to his mother, even though he was in desperate need of affection. This was something he never got from his stepfather, who wanted nothing to do with him, or from his mother, who was often so distracted with work or her new husband that she had little time for him. Ethan was a constant reminder of the life she wanted to forget all about.

Desperate for some closeness, he became involved in a relationship with a girl from school, Hannah Richmond. This relationship quickly progressed and Hannah grew pregnant. The two of them were terrified of telling their parents and ended up running away together, only returning home when Ethan was arrested for possession of cocaine - he was trying to sell it in order to get some money for the two of them.

Their families realized that Hannah was pregnant at this point. She lived with a spaced-out alcoholic father who didn't care and offered no support; Ethan's mother and step-father were both too careless about him to want to help either.

With no help from their families and an increasing likelihood that their child was going to be taken off them, Ethan and Hannah got together and attempted to commit suicide. Neither of them had ever felt so low. However, they were found in time and sent here with their daughter to try and recover.

Other;; Ethan and Hannah are still together and are determined to stay that way for their child.

Appearance;; As can be seen in the picture, Ethan has unkempt hair and hasn't shaved in several days. His clothes are usually unironed and scruffy. Hannah, on the other hand, still cares about her appearance. She is smaller than Ethan, with long, straightened brown hair and a side fringe. She is also pretty, but recently she has become very pale and after the pregnancy stopped eating properly, which has made her look gaunt.

Jasmine is good at hiding things and keeping secrets to herself, its very rare she lets anyone in or shares her past.

Why Are You Here?;;
A year ago, Lauren attempted suicide. As of recently, she's becoming more and more depressed, and her parents fear she's going to try it again, and have sent her away to try and help her.

Personality;;
It's getting hard to predict what Lauren will be like. Some days, she's full of energy, never shuts up, make all her friends laugh, and then the next, she'll hardly speak, seem constantly close to tears, and try and shut herself off from the world. She has problems controlling her emotions, and cries a lot when she's alone, and a lot of the times, she doesn't even know why.

She can fly off the handle at anyone for anything, and although she isn't strong, she seems to get into a lot of fights, most of which she comes out of worse for wear, but she can't seem to stop. She likes everything to be in order, and gets upset when it isn't. She has low self-esteem, and often feels she isn't good enough for people, and this is starting to show.

Bio;;
Lauren Catherine Anne Meredith was unleashed on the world at around 8.00 P.M. on November 12th, 1994. She was born the youngest of four children in a stable family. She spent a lot of time with her older siblings when she was younger, and was babied a lot. When she started primary school, she was very open and honest, yet she had trouble finding a group of friends who could stick with her. Eventually, in primary 3, she made two friends who stuck with her through the rest of her time there, Rebecca and Alicia. In the final few months of primary 7, a few people started ganging up on her, but it never properly developed into bullying.

She started secondary school, and for the first month or so, spent a lot of time by herself. She sat alone at the back of every class, but the schoolwork didn't intrest her, and she had problems keeping up with homework. She eventually fell in with a group of six girls, who became seven, then eight, before the last girl moved away.

Come second year, Lauren had some problems. She couldn't stop thinking bad things about herself, but she never spoke of it, never told anyone, figuring the thoughts would go away soon. It didn't work like that, and after a few months, they became worse and worse. None of her friends could contact her over the Easter Break, and Lauren thought that they had all abandoned her, and the night before she was to back to school, she tried to strangle herself with a belt in the middle of the night.

She survived, and was found the next morning by her mum, and she was kept off school for three weeks while they tried to sort things out. Lauren eventually spoke up about how she felt about herself, and was brought to therapy, although most of her sessions always seemed to end up with her crying. Pressure started getting piled on by the school once Third Year started, and when her parents noticed that she was losing a lot of weight, and seemed to be depressed a lot, they packed her things and sent her to the help facility, thinking she was becoming anorexic, and having suicidal thoughts again. She wasn't, but the self-doubt was coming back, and she still feels like she's not good enough sometimes.

Other;;
Lauren is deathly afraid of needles. She hates going for injections like the flu jab, because her fear always makes it seem worse than it will be, and she has a strange obsession with the thought of death, and what happens after we die. She's a bit of a history freak, and if you ask her anything about the Tudors, she could probably immediately tell you the answer. She has trouble letting go of things, and always seems to dwell on her mistakes, and what she's done wrong. If she likes a band, she can turn into the ultimate fangirl for them, although she tries not to, and sometimes wonders if she would have more friends if she wasn't so 'alternative', compared to other girls her age, although she's happy with how she is.

(This is the closest thing to me I can find, minus the make-up, and my hair is shorter, and more dirty-fair than brown. Also, my eyes aren't a goldish colour, they're a grey/blue)

Why Are You Here?;;
After developing a split personality and attacking a kid in her class, she was sent to a psychiatric unit close to her home, and then when this didn't help, she was brought here.

Personality;;
Cold and uncaring most of the time, Cyanide tries to distance herself as much as possible from any situation that will cause her to show her emotions in any way. She has a habit of constructing something of a wall between herself and other people, something she has done for so long that she has no idea where to begin de-constructing it. She has a lot of trouble talking to and understanding others, and constantly fears being judged by people around her.

By shutting herself off from everyone and everything, Cyanide hopes to keep herself from getting hurt both emotionally and physically. But, even after almost 5 years of practise, she still struggles to keep up her charade, and often snaps at those who are trying to help her.

Bio;;
Fifteen years ago, on the second of may in the early hours of the morning, a small, blue-eyed baby girl was thrust into the open arms of a world filled with near-suffocating love and adoration.

As the first of her maternal grandparent's grandchildren, the little girl had their undivided love and praise for her first few years, and was doted on profusely by not only them, but all of her mother's side of the family, and of course her kind, sweet mum. Her father was present, at least for a while, and whenever she would look at photos in later years, he seemed to care for his daughter immensely. However, the man himself draws a blank in her memories, something which probably isn't surprising, when the fact he managed to vanish without a trace from her life before she was even two years old is taken into account.

The little girl, who was christened Lauren Patricia, was given the best upbringing her mother could afford. They lived in Lancaster for a short time while Karen (the mother) studied in the university there, and then moved to Manchester, accompanied by the family's latest addition. Michael was kind, ever present, and utterly memorable. The perfect father for Lauren, and later, when Lauren was 3 and a half, for her half sister too. This sister, Ciara, gave Lauren the chance to feel needed, the chance to be important to someone.

When Michael and Karen split, Lauren was about 9 years old. He continued to be a good father to both of the girls though, and they saw him almost every day of the week. Later, Karen met Mike, who seemed perfect for her, and who was just as lovely to the girls as their dad.

The next few years passed by without too much drama. Lauren went to high school, and went through the motions of all the usual romances, friendships and backstabbing, leaving her vulnerable and hurt. Each time felt worse and more painful than the last, and it wasn't long before she began to detach herself from everything, trying to develop a shield to protect herself. Lauren was shut away inside her mind, keeping herself out of any relationships and conflict as best she could, trying to block out the air of social awkwardness that had always surrounded her.

After four years of this mental solitude, the girl found herself turning to writing as an outlet for her frustration,not even knowing where all of this anger had arisen from. Lauren adopted a pen name; Cyanide Saruwatari, and over the next year this new persona mutated into a whole other self.

Cyanide wanted boys, friends, beauty, perfection. She wanted to loose weight and to be the ideal young woman. Lauren tried desperately to disguise this take-over, hiding her rapidly shrinking body underneath baggy clothes and making sure to spend as little time as she could on her appearance. During school, she strived to remain a blank, emotionless canvas, and forced herself not to let Cyanide take over where people could see.

When other kids started to purposely annoy her to see her mad, Lauren had to bite down hard on the insides of her cheeks to restrain herself, and at the end of each day her mouth would be bloody and sore. It got harder and harder to continue to feign indifference, and it was only really a matter of time before she cracked.

Finally, one of the boys took it just that tiny bit too far, and Lauren exploded. Cyanide gushed out of every pore, and the girl let rip, attacking the boy and scratching his face and neck with her fingernails, before picking up her compass from the desk and stabbing it into his leg until it drew blood, screaming the whole time. While the whole class, teacher included, stared at her in shock, she stormed out of the room and ran all the way home, where she collapsed in a crumpled heap, crying and shaking.

When her family got home later that evening, she hadn't moved at all, and when they tried to calm her, she refused flatly to do anything.

Cyanide spent the next 3 weeks in a psychiatric unit, but it quickly became clear that she was not benefiting at all from the extra attention, which actually seemed to worsen her state, so she was sent instead to this place, in the hope that a different approach would provide better results

-After the breakdown, Lauren has only ever answered to her pseudonym, however she still yo-yo's between both personas occasional, and there are some times she is more herself than Cyanide.
-Lauren's mother actually works as an ASW at the unit that she went to, and it was at her request that Lauren was moved, because she couldn't stand seeing her daughter in that way. Lauren does not know this. (ASW= Approved social worker- a qualified social worker who has undertaken a further course of full time specialist training in mental health, and is then able to section people under the mental health act.)

Personality;; Tracey is usually quite and well-mannered. She keeps talking about stuff that isn't related to her, so they think she might have temporarily lost her memory.
Bio;; Tracey's mother died when Tracey was only 7 years old, so she doesn't remember her much. Tracey and her boyfriend were in the car wreak, he died. she barely made it. she doesn't remember the rest of her life.

Why Are You Here?;; (Patients Only) Zack's depression built-up, leading to attempts of many forms of suicide. But he always seemed to fail, 'Causing him to try harder each time. This left his girlfriend no choice but to send him off to get professional help. Leaving him to feel that he wasn't loved, This keeps him awake at nights. Sometimes 'causing him to cry himself to sleep.

Personality;; He is a very quiet living being with a lot of built-up depression,Though,When he is with his girlfriend he is a very loving person. When Zack is around others he reacts to how he is feeling that specific time, He will react to his emotions a lot of the time whether he is around somebody or not.

Born February 21,1990 on 5:00am in Becon Falls, Connecticut.
Raised by two deadbeat parents, The mom was a lawyer and The father was a corrections officer. Zack didn't really love his parents and always kept to himself. Only being the age of eight, He had to put up with the brutal beatings of his father. Until Uncle Jack the brother of his mother had been shipped back home from four years in the United States Marine Corps. Running to his Uncle, Zack told him everything that had happened to him while he was away in Iraq. Uncle Jack offered his nephew to sleep over that night so he didn't have to deal with his father.

The day after Zack slept over his Uncle's house was the day he had finally gotten payback, His Uncle went to his home and gave the father the beatings he deserved while he his mother wasn't home. Having the father promise he would never do it again led to major problems in Zack's household. After his Uncle left the father cornered him and beat him with a leather belt 'til he was red and bleeding.

A year passes by still catching the brutal beatings that his father gave him every day of his life, Not seeing his Uncle for a good few months after the day he beat his father. Zack started to worry about his Uncle very much until he looked in the newspaper, The headline of the newspaper said in big bold letters, "LT.Jack Benson, Was a victim in a corner store shootout. Unfortunately he did not survive."

Breaking down in tears Zack tried to hold on for his own good,succeeding, Allowing the pressure to built-up inside of him.;

The first day of grade school, He is still trying to cope with the loss of his Uncle and the fact that he is a lone with no one to talk to,but The teacher. This is the way he lived all the way through grade school, Not knowing what to do with himself when he reached middle school. Zack finally found three friends a few days into his new school, He could finally hold himself by Skateboarding and Smoking pot. Just getting over the death of his Uncle, He walked into his friends house to find him hanging from the ceiling fan. Zack tried not to cry, He allowed more pressure to build. Only shedding one tear for the loss of his best-friend. Him allowing so much pressure to build-up, Lead him to many forms of self-mutilation..The self-mutilation soon turning into many suicide attempts.

Zack lost his other two friends to drug abuse and suicide. This leaving him alone, For the past year Zack skateboarded and smoked I a lot of pot by himself trying to sell to support himself. When he reached the eighth grade he met this girl named Misa. They hung out and skateboarded,but She did not agree with what he was doing so she let him live with her and her parents. Solving his problems as far as money, shelter, and clothing goes. A few months pass, and Zack starts to fail the ninth grade.; He tells his girlfriend that he feels really depressed, and he wants to die. She tries to get him to cope,but It won't work. Zack tried suicide many times, and Won't stop even if Misa asks him to. He said it is his only way to escape the thoughts of losing his close friends and family. His girlfriend and her parents agreed together to send him away for some professional help.

Why Are You Here?;;(b] Jade was born with a problem-she's too nice. I know, stupid right? But Jade has an extremely rare case of pintogorusnitus (or as nicknamed 'friendlyitus') which makes her hormones work over time to the extremes, Jade can love easily or hate easily and because she is stubborn it takes alot to change her mind, her parents couldn't cope much longer after the incident of Jade trying to murder the dog because it ate her teddy bear and sent her here.
[b]Personality;; Jade's personality is alot like that nursery rhyme, "And when she was nice she was nice, but when she was bad she was horrid!"
Bio;; Jade has pretty much a normal family except for the fact her sister died in a plane crash on her way to her honeymoon when Jade was just turned 13, the family haven't really been the same since as Clary (The sister) was kind of the favourite daughter.
