In the net-world I am known as Shadofire.
I'm a veteran DnD player, as well as a consumer of other pen-and-papers such as the new and old WoD, DnD settings like 5 Rings, Ebberon, Dragonlance, and Forgotten Realms; and other obscurities including EQ, Hack Master, Battle Lords, and AFMBE... Though more than any of those, I like to just wing it and use decription to do what dice are for.

In the world that is unfortunately the real one, I am a tied-down mom of 3, a lover of all things dragon-related, an anime freak, a bookworm, and a gamer of all sorts. Most people call me Cat there.

Hopefully this place can be another pleasant little window to that lovely place called imagination!

Oh my gosh, I bow at your feet, Shadofire. I admire you so much for all that you do and you still have a great imagination and/or time to participate in things like RPing! My jaw literally dropped when I read your post, because I can't imagine being as busy as you are!

I welcome you! We welcome everyone with open arms! I'm sure you've already looked around, but there are so many different RPGs to get involved in, there is almost always something to get someone involved.

I encourage you to also take a look at the other more casual forums to get the know the community. The chat is also a great tool. Many new members have said they really started to get involved with the site when they met a lot of the members in the chat. It's really fun when there are people in there! I think the chat was just altered recently, so people are still getting used to it. We should be getting more participation in it soon.

Again, we welcome you, and I truly hope we can be another window of imagination for you. I like that simile. =D

Welcome to you, Shadofire, keeper of children and a life. I must extend my kudos, many, may kudos, to you for being able to balance such a life style. My two cats are handful enough that I feel as though I have no time for anything, let alone having multiple human children. Just for that you already rock my socks off.

Anywho, moving on. Welcome to RPGateway. We are a pretty laid back RPing community. Nothing too high stress, or overbearing as we like to see our people happy. We want you to feel like you're writing because you love and it's what makes you passionate and inspired.
