So It Begins...

I can't tell her. I can't tell anybody. They are watching me. He is watching me. I know he'll come for me. He came for my mother, he probably was the one who killed my father. I'm the only one left. Just me...

The fourth dream
The monstrous lizard was nothing but a shadow above the trees. Ikki could run and run, but the lizard like demon was always above him. Always getting closer. Always coming down. He could run and run, but he would always come to the sidewalk where his father had been killed. Always to the place where his father had fallen. Always to the place he had taken up his father's gun. Just when he would turn around and aim the gun at the demon, smoke would surround him. He could feel intense heat. The demon's eyes come down and stare into his own. It's eyes were made of fire and it was peeling Ikki apart with them.


Tongoki's request
"Ikki, I think I've found the source of the dreams. The reason your waking every night in cold sweats. I know why your afraid Ikki, but LINT needs to come together. This isn't a time to hide out in Gambit's bar any longer. We need to come together. Nor and Li are in the south. Will you meet us?" Tongoki Morvint was being serious with Ikki and this time he was concerned about Ikki's health.

"Tongo... I can't do this. I'm not hiding out here because I want to just hide out and not face the facts. What if he knows about her? I can't risk it. I can't risk her being in danger. I.. I just can't do it." Ikki's voice was nervous and paranoid.

I can't leave her here by herself. They know how long I've wait.. don't they? Isn't nine years torture enough? Now I'm here and I'm hers and she's mine.. I.. can't do it. Not while I'm so close.


Nortic's demand
"Damn it boy there isn't time for your whining. Just get here! I've found it! I've found him! Hes close and LINT needs to get together now. Liero and Tongoki have been tracking him and he did! He is the one who killed your father. Won't you just listen to reason?" Nortic's voice was harsh, but fatherly as he spoke.

"If I come.. just this one time, will you allow me to stay here and protect her? She is all I care about and you know it better then the rest Nortic. You were there when my father died. your the closest of them." Ikki voice was calm and steady.

"Then come now. Don't waste any time. She is away so you won't have to worry about anything happening to her. LINT needs it's leader Ikki." Harsh and demanding.


The eighth dream
Ikki couldn't escape this time. No no no no... his screams churned around the wind. He was in a wasteland and the demon was coming. Slithering along. Dripping it's trail of of sizzling black blood. It didn't smell like blood. It smelled like sulfur. It smelled like fire. Ikki's eyes open to be surrounded by fire. Smoke.. he was breathing in smoke. The demon, it was standing behind him. It was peeling his face off. It peeled everything off until he was bones. Bones that became dust. Only dust in the wind. Just like his father... just like his mother. What about her? What about Lori?

I won't fall prey to this demon that hunts me. I won't let it take away everything I have worked so hard to create. I will protect my future with Lori. I will protect what we have created. I will protect our child from this monster. I will kill it and get my father's revenge. I will.. I must.. do this for, not only my father, but for myself
