Since roleplays of mine seem to be dead or are going on and off, I have a couple new ideas.

#1 Hell Broken Loose
After the devil has been absent for 1000 years, the demons of hell/the underworld, who are tired of their eternal prison, want to conquer the mortal world and enslave humanity. Now as the end of the living world comes to nigh, the devil has reappear and will choose souls who have left the living world early to battle the demons and restore order. As a reward the souls will be given a second chance in the living world.

#2 Plaything
The country of Lutetia is under rule of a semi-benevolent dictator whose identity isnt really known. People are given free choice most of the time, the internet isnt censored but you will detained if you plan anti-governmental plots, although TV is state-owned it isnt full of propaganda and worth watching, there are many freedoms except for the freedom of press and freedom of speech is slightly limited. The more negative aspects are: The punishment for crimes is a bit harsh, rumors of secret labor camps can be heard, the police is nearly omnipresent in the cities, there are security cameras everywhere and participation in the national holiday parade (either in the parade or as a spectator) is compulsory.
But as a group of young adults look for a job, they find an advertisement for a job as an assistant in the residence of the dictator. They expect the dictator to be a harsh and strict man in his late 40s or early 50s but what they find is what they hadnt expected. The job: The dictator doesnt have any friend nor this person has very good people skills. But the dictator is lonely and is in need of someone close who isnt a state official. The dictators identity isnt known for a reason: So that the dictator could wander the capital without anyone being able to identify him/her and to avoid the risk of being assassinated.
There are two groups who want to get rid of the dictator: 1. The organisation for pure democracy. The OPD is a radical group that will try to turn the nation into a democracy by means of violence and they want to assassinate a dictator whose face isnt known. 2. Corporations. Due to the dictator remaining unbribeable to influence politics in favor for corporations such as subsidization and getting rid of powerful labor unions, the corporations have decided to hire hitmen and paid terrorists to commit acts of violence against government buildings and officials.
Will the dictator find friends who will show him/her humanity and influence the dictator towards friendlier politics or will they be subdued by anti-government groups to kill the dictator?

#3 A new world (Dieselpunk)
As a group of people flee a war torn nation in search of a new land, they find a large island with remnant of an ancient civilization with advanced technology. But the more they find new technologies, the more they deepen into the history of the former civilization. The beautiful island is lush and green with mountains that poke into the sky like needles. Everywhere there are ruins and ancient libraries. Will the settlers use the technology they find for good purposes or will they end in war like the old civilization?

I like the first one.
