Hayley followed Liam towards his front door and waited when he motioned to her that she should wait. She heard his mother talking to him and saw her head from behind Liams. She nodded her head politely at Liam’s mother as he introduced her but didn't lift her head after that. She didn't know what to say or where to look. Hayley wished that they hadn't suddenly sprung it upon Liam’s mothe... Emily. She followed Liams and his mother into the front room letting Liam pull her onto his lap. She looked gratefully into his mothers eyes but looked away again as she felt tears tickle her eyes as she thought about her own mother. She flickered a smile at Emily as she made to leave the room but it soon disappeared.
"I hope you know what you're doing," Emilys word brought it all back to her. She was pregnant and she had no idea what she was going to do, how she... they would cope. She heard Liam ask how she was. She didn't know what to say, how to answer, she just pulled his arms away and muttered an excuse to leave the room. She felt sick.
"I'm going to get my bag before someone steals my stuff... Shall I leave it... Where can I leave it?"♠♣♠
Hayleys mum jumped when the doorbell rang. She quickly composed her self before walking down the stairs to open the door. She had been sitting on hayleys bed, looking at the stuff she had left, in particular a picture she had found laying on her desk. It was of the four of them, before everything had gone wrong. Before Neil had run away. She cracked the door open and peered outside. It was luke, she open the door fully and sighed softly
"Why couldn't it have been you" she muttered silently before signalling to him to enter her domain.
"How can i help you love?" She asked, leading him into the living room, her smile reaching her eyes, thinking how it'd be if he was with hayley instead, but it soon fell when he asked where Hayley was.

Luke rapped his knuckles lightly against the door and waited. He knew someone was in, he had looked through the window and saw the computer screens light intruding the serenity of the natural light seeping through the net curtains. He rang the bell deciding that knocking wasn't going to favor him today. He saw Hayleys mothers figure behind the textured window and greeted her with a smile when she opened the door to him. He allowed her to lead him to the livingroom before asking after hayley. He could see her face fall, clearly she wasn't there. He wasn't in the mood for heartfelt sorrow and so cut her off when he saw her lips crack apart.
"Mrs Fisher, Can i speak to you instead then? I think you'll agree with what i have to say."
