I grabbed this idea from another forum I frequent!

Let's say you have the choice to become a Wizard or Witch from Harry Potter, a Jedi, or a Pokemon trainer.

If you become a Wizard, you would be put at your start of you first year at Hogwarts.
If you become a Jedi, you would be put in to their order at your current age with all the knowledge and tenants of their order with the ability and willingness to follow them.
If you become a Pokemon trained, you'd be put at the very start of your adventure just before you go to your local Professor for your first Pokemon.

Which do you choose to be?

No polls. I want to actually hear some discussion on this!

I'd say Jedi, ultimately. It'd be way cooler to have force abilities and wield a lightsaber than any of the alternatives, and despite the whole having to follow the Jedi code thing that can often be a bit emotionless and weird, it's not like there isn't a massive precedent for eventually becoming a rogue or Sith. :)

Hmmm... Jedi, mostly because of the fact that long distance fighting was never really my style, and yes while I have the force, I would probably be using the lightsaber a lot more than I would the force, unless it's to close the distance between my enemy and me (Running jumping, pulling the enemy closer). Being a wizard in a school, eh I never really was much a mage, so being a wizard is out. Keeping my distance isn't really fun, I love to be in the combat, in the face of my enemy swords (or lightsabers in this case :D) caught in a deadlock.

Pokemon, they're more the role of tactical fighting, and I'm more and impulse fighter than anything. Whatever my gut tells me to do, I trust it in a fight

I would have to say a witch from Harry Potter. I like the idea of magic and potions and spells. Plus I want to be in the fight, but I'd prefer to do so from a safe distance.

Pokemon...I could never do. I don't want to instruct someone to fight for me, *I* want to fight for me.

Jedi...I'm waaaaay to emotional for that. I'd probably never even be accepted for training.

Hrnng. I'd say witch or wizard, too. xD I don't know enough about Star Wars or Pokemon.

Kinda a hard choice between jedi and wizard...never got into the pokemon other then the gameboy games..

I like harry potter for the most part but I prefur the D&D style of wizard and being the huge star was fan I am I'd have to go with jedi beside they are basicly wizards with one of the most powerful weapons ever made

But I'd have to say Pokemon Trainer. The whole adventure aspect seems more appealing to me. As someone stated above, as a witch I would have to be in school and I really can't stand school. I'm not too into Star Wars so Pokemon Trainer seems the obvious choice for me. Plus, some Pokemon are SO cute. ^-^

I've been a huge Star Wars fan forever, but as those of you who know me have probably noticed, not very big into fiction-based roleplay, so I may have only ever volunteered to participate in a Star Wars inspired roleplay maybe once or twice over the last few years. The obvious answer for me is to be a Jedi. I have always admired the Jedi's guiding philosophies. I've also been thrilled by the number of books that have been written about Star Wars and larger sociological and philosophical issues from the real world, as well as the rise of an apparent Jedi religion. (I've also always wanted to wear Jedi robes, but can't afford to have them made for me, and hate wearing cheap knockoffs.)

Bleugh, that's a really hard decision. I like all three fandoms.
The first one I'm gonna knock off though is Pokemon trainer. Although it would be awesome forming a bond with the pokemon, and catching them, but I couldn't spread the love evenly enough and would be very sad to have them fight for me and get hurt.
Next one, Jedi. Oh my gosh, you have no idea how awesome it would be to become a Jedi! The force, lightsabers, spaceships! Wow. I love the Star Wars world, but not really the characters. I have a purple lightsaber. It makes lightsaber noises. Yes, I know the crystals are only green, red, and blue, but purple is my favorite color! And it makes lightsaber noises! Space, need I say more?
My choice would most definitely be a witch in the Harry Potter "world". Magic. Can you believe it? My own personal wand, spells, magical creatures, moving pictures, riding on broomsticks, people not thinking you're weird...oh wait..... I have longed to be in that world. I read the entire series. I saw all of the movies. I got in Pottermore before it opened to the public. You would have thought that I had gotten my Acceptance Letter to Hogwarts. Oh yes, see the geek I am? I would love to go to the Wizarding World. I've figured that I'm a Slytherin. I made my own Slytherin scarf. I was nerdy enough to dress up to go to the midnight premiere of Deathly Hallows part 2 and show up two hours before to watch the first part for a few dollars before hand. I even carefully drew a dark mark on my arm. Oh man am I nerdy. Geez, I guess my true colors really show when I write about it.

Pokemon trainer alwaaayyys.
Get to leave school, make friends with fire breathing dragons, giant metal snakes, floating electric eels, etc., and adventure everywhere? Yes please!

Magical/intergalactic wars aren't really my thing xD
And I love travelling, so that's a plus.

I would be a Jedi but i think the darkside would be to strong for me to turn down so more than likely i would become a sith lord

I'd definitely have to say Jedi, because I don't mind discipline if I learn how to move things with my mind and help maintain balance in the universe.

Oh gosh, this one is really tough....hmmm....wizard or Pokemon Trainer. Both would be....really....wow. I'd say probably wizard, That would be a lot more useful than a Pokemon trainer, and I think going to Hogwarts would be amazing :D

a wizard would probably be the best. while a jedi gets force powers, a wizard can do similar things with magic in theory... and pokemon are prone to confusion which sucks
