I'm AmphiSoap, or just Amp for short. I have a bit of experience roleplaying here and there, but I have to say that I've never seen the complex system they seem to have here! I'm really excited (and a little intimidated to tell you the truth) to get to know everyone and start writing. :D

So... Jumping right in after my short introduction, here is my first question:

How exactly does this all work really? Er, well, I did read the general rules and guidelines but what I was more confused about was how you submit a character in for roleplaying.
I see a section where you can submit a character in, but I also see that all the roleplays I've looked at have their own character skeletons. So how exactly do you submit a character in? Do you copy the skeleton and fill it out, then paste it all into just the description section?

Thanks for stopping by and making an account with us. :D Don't worry about the size of the site, there are plenty of people available to help and answer questions as you learn how to maneuver your way around. Myself included :) In regards to your questions, lemme give you a little bit of information.

If you're interested in joining a roleplay in the chat-based system, there's a tab at the top labeled 'characters' that allows you to fill out a profile for character submission. If there are other private tab roleplays (different in that they are separate from the universal chat, or Multiverse chat) then you merely fill out the character skeletons according to the preferences of the Game Masters. As far as the length and detail of your profiles? That's all up to you. It isn't required that you break up your information into each section. You're more than welcome to fill it out the way you want to.

Like Kris said, don't be weirded out by how many us there are. We only extract a small token of your soul upon registering.

But don't worry, we make judicious use of that soul. It goes into the "soul counter" which, at the end of time, will release the essence of your being (and that of those sampled before) onto the world in a hellish display of power and glorious dominance. We are so glad that you could be a part of this movement.

A syringe will be mailed to your place of residence within the next 3-5 business days. Please inject this into your Heart of Hearts, place it back on the envelope, and tuck it under your pillow for that evening. Our people will come collect it. If you feel a slight discomfort between your shoulders, that just means you woke up, saw us, and we had to remove your short-term memory.

For Kris: Well the thing I'm really unsure about is actually WHERE we submit that character skeleton. Do we PM it to the GMs? Paste it under the "Description" section of after clicking the button to submit a character for roleplaying?

For VV: Awesome, being "release[d] [...] onto the world in a hellish display of power and gorious dominance" sounds perfect! Oh, remind those collectors to leave a crisp two dollar bill under the pillow for the postage and potential band-aid fee for my troubles.
