It is a cruel city. Few can find any satisfaction that isnt illegal. Its the city of Sin, the ultimate Sin. A city were vampires dwell and are not only the law enforcement, but the government officials as well. Though they live with the human, a vampire can only feed off of the humans. Humans have hardly any power to do anything. they are slaves to the city and the masters of it.
It all happened when a few witches were assigned the task to make a potion for vampires to be able to walk in the sun. It was done over a hundred years ago. Now it is a comment thing as the vampires have evolved with the help of more powerful magic from the witches and potions. Very few vampires go out at night anymore, since they had to dwell in darkness for so long.
'Too late, won't stop
Tonight I want to go deeper
Tomorrow takes it all away
Time's running out
The night is only a shell
Soon morning comes and breaks the spell
To the yesterday, to a dream
Just for tonight, we'll keep on dancing
And the city won't tell a soul
Just for tonight, the lights are shining
And our secret stays untold
These streets are mine
Tonight I'll keep on walking
Won't stop as long as the city sleeps
Don't look back once
Or you might turn around
Tonight I'll give myself to you
And our secret stays untold
Just for tonight, we'll keep on dancing
And the city won't tell a soul
Just for tonight, the lights are shining
And our secret stays untold
Just for tonight, we'll keep on dancing
And the city won't tell a soul
Just for tonight, the lights are shining
And our secret stays untold
(They can't see us now)
They can't see us now
(They won't catch us now)
They can't see us now
(They can't see us now)
They can't see us now
(They won't catch us now)
They can't see us now'
There is a harsh punishment for a vampire to love a human, or visa versa. But, what if two people me. A vampire and a human. What if they fell in love? Meeting only when it was dark and in a place so the officials, WATCHERS, couldnt find them.
But, it would be dangerous and they may have to fight with everyone in the world, just for it. Could they make it? Could they stay together through it all? Will the dangerous WATCHERS, hunters that enforce the governments laws, catch them? Would a WATCHER help the vampire?

Lunna stood behind the counter of the cafe, 'Cafe Blood'. It was designed for vampires. A place for them to get something to drink, eat, or just hang around. It was simple, something the humans used to have. Not anymore though. Not since the witches had helped the vampires over a hundred years ago. Since then the vampires have been in control, humans becoming nothing but slaves or pets. Only the strong became enough of something to live among the vampires.
'Just for tonight, the lights are shining
And our secret stays untold
Just for tonight, we'll keep on dancing
And the city won't tell a soul
Just for tonight, the lights are shining
And our secret stays untold'Lunna gazed at the door, listening to an old IPod she had found. The song was soft and she admired both the voices. The duet was extremely old but it still fascinated her, the lowness of it. Ville Valo, the male singer had a perfect voice for his band. HIM. An odd name, but regardless, it was a good band. The female singer, from the band Mana, didnt play that much of a part in the song, but enough to make it good.
"Listening to it again?" He boss, Vladimir asked, leaning against the counter with her. She nodded, "Ya." He looked at her for a minute, his old vampire black eyes staring at her green human ones. "You know, you really shouldn't work here." He stated again, for only the millionth time. "I know. Its because I am beautiful and not afraid. I am a delicacy." she recited, as he told her this all the time.
Vladimir was an odd vampire who had helped Lunna long ago. One of the few vampires that went against most others and felt sorry for the humans. He was not only her boss but secretly a friend.
"What is the name of it again?" He asked, moving away from the counter and over to the register.
"Just for tonight." she answered, pressing the play button so it would play again.
"Thats right." he nodded, looking at the clock on the wall. "7:34 pm." He sighed as it was almost time for him to go home.
"Ya. Hey, can i get some coffee?" she asked, moving so her hip leaned against the bar.
"Sure, you have been working hard." He replied walking to the back to get this things.
"Thanks!" she called getting herself a mocha, and placing some money in the jar that the employees payed in.
Taking a sit she looked back at the door. "Sure is quite." she thought, as no one was in the cafe at the time.
