The Burkland Meyer Apartments.

A magical place that brings people to their needs. Although hard to see and understand why, the Burkland Meyer apartments are a blessing to all.

Seven apartments. And old friends brought to together by coincident, or fate?

Unresolved romances, enemies, and family matters crammed into one apartment building. Chaos is the reputation. Drama is the subject.

This is an extremely open based plot. If you've no creative juices flowing please disregard this post and move along. I require the most care a devotion to the RP, as nearly all of mine have faded away. Working off other's character sheets is a must, and interacting via PM on little surprises for the others would be gladly accepted and even appreciated. There is a limit of seven slots (really, six), not including children or spouses (which will probably powerplayed unless the spouse is part of the seven). These seven must have had at least one connection to another. I am also not reserving spots. First come first served.

Spots:
1 : Supertoastgirl
2 : Sorella
3 : Imagine That!
4 : wednesdaysun
5 : TheOneAndOnly
6 : Madmoiselle
7 : thelittlethings♥

Brielle Prairie-Dawn Milton

Image

Preferred Name: Bri, or Elle
Role: #1
Apartment Number: 202
Age: 26
Sexual Orientation: heterosexual
Occupation: Flight attendant for Alaska Airlines

Fears: Surgery, terminal illnesses, forgetting; Alzheimer's, house fires, rodents
Dreams: Moving away to some far away country and living in peace. Raising a family in a nice house away from the city.

Personality: Naturally calm and collected. She let's things go easily, never letting to many thing boggle her mind or toy with her conscience. If something bothers her, it's usually a big deal; something serious. Bri is a straight forward person that like to sit back and diagnose the scene. Before interjecting a situation she'll sit and watch to form her plan. Well drawn out, and confident in most everything she does. She's intact, and able to live on her own. Independence was something she was born with. Knows that she's pretty, but has only taken advantage of that a few shameful times.

Background: Brielle grew up with her mother, father, brother and sister. They were an average family, living in an average town-house. She was a classic daddy's girl, and she loved him with all her heart. She was the girl at school who would brag over her father, even though there wasn't much to brag about. She depended on her father, and was sure she could never love anyone more. Until Brielle turned twelve. Her dad ran off, with no explanation (or at least to Brielle's knowledge). Heartbroken and unable to put the pieces together, Brielle grew up. A bit too quickly. Things were never the same between Brielle and her mother and she stubbornly blamed her mother for her fathers leave.

She quickly became a confident, independent in the world of high school. Brielle, got herself tangled into the wrong crowd though. Her mother constantly bickered and nagged over her attire, her attitude and her boyfriends. This was that time of taking advantage of her good likes. Brielle was, more or less, a little on the skanky side of the social spectrum. She wore short skirts, high heels, lipstick just the right shade to make a boy notice. Mom obviously didn't approve. This was the time when Brielle broke her family bonds, and she didn't get the time to repair them. After a car accident that nearly killed her sophomore year, she saw things in a new light. Good grades and a good reputation are what she strived for during her final years of high school.

Then Senior year came. The year she often forgets, trying to repress her good memories and tragic endings. This was the year she met Reese.

She pretended to get over it once in college, and marched on in her own life. Has developed a good head on her shoulders, traveled a bit and was taught some life lessons. When she was the young age of nineteen she enrolled herself in flight attending school, her current job. The job that she truly and dearly loves. It was in the air is where is actually met her boyfriend, Liam, who is a pilot. As funny as that is.

Brielle has just moved in with her long term boyfriend, when she soon finds that her neighbors are the two people she's been trying to get away from. Reese, Julie and their daughter. You can only imagine how careful Brielle is when she leaves her apartment.

Appearance: Average height; 5'6 : Long dark brown hair : lovely complexion : thin, not very curvy : striking blue eyes

Relationships:
Liam ; her boyfriend of five years
Bonnie ; Brielle's little sister
Reese ; her lost cause
Marie ; Brielle's sick mother

Bonnie-Lizzie Marie Cole

Image

Preferred Name: Bonnie
Role: #2
Apartment Number: 28
Age: Nineteen
Sexual Orientation: As straight as can be.
Occupation: Song writer and she has a side job working as a cook at a restaurant part time.
Fears: Walking across bridges, walking on frozen ponds, and dark streets.
Dreams: To have a family of her own one day, to have her songs be famous, to preform her own songs, for her mother to get better.

Personality: Bonnie tends to be a calm nature and is always thinking of others before her self. Although she tends to be a bit slow on somethings, which just usually brings funny moments into the scene and she can't help but laugh. Bonnie was taught her rights from wrongs and never lived under a strict roof hence why she isn't as snobby as some are and she's well mannered. Bonnie is care free and likes to go with the flow of things and even though she was taught to go after what she wants she can often times be too scared to do it her self and tends to become a follower sometimes not knowing if she's doing something correctly or if she should go about this another way. She also tends to say the wrong things and offends people and after that happens she feels so bad and instantly tries to stop it and make the person feel better because if she doesn't then she feels upset until she does.

Bonnie dreams big and is in most cases a big dreamer. She will always set big dreams for herself even if she can't reach them and half the time she doesn't realize how impossible they are until she thinks about all the possibilities more and more and then reality sets in and just tends to be a big dream popper. Sometimes she even considers changing her dreams then but nothing like her good old optimism can't fix. Her optimism tends to pull her through everything negative that happens and helps her see the light and helps her be every single trait she is today. This is the lovely Bonnie.
Background: Bonnie did live on her own and was making things great but since her mother grew ill she moved back in with her mother in apartment 28. As far as her father goes she doesn't really have one..Not one she remembers seeing as he ran away after Bonnie was six. Bonnie does have an older brother who is about twenty seven now and he seems to be making out in life just fine and as of the moment is too busy to come take care of their mother so now Bonnie is left to do and put her dreams of going to Juilard on hold and now has to take care of her mother but it's not that much of a hustle because Bonnie is always willing to help her mother... She did bring her into this world after all. Now she comes to the realization after looking at doctors notes that her mother is battling cancer and now her only wish is for her mother to over come it and that is just what she plans on doing.

Bonnie does have a happy side to all of this though! Bonnie gets to be back in the neighborhood and see all the old faces she remembers and some of the new ones that have moved in since she left about a year and a half ago. Bonnie has had her fair share of relationships and not all were good and not all were bad either. There was one man that Bonnie loved more than any other but things ended terrible and that was her relationship with Ryan Deane. He was a handsome man and he had movie star looks but she never liked him for that he was just over all sweet and loyal and also caring. The one thing though that got them in a major fight was when he brought up her family calling most of them terrible people and hobos and her getting so bloody offended she just got angry and left his sorry ass. One relationship that was the worst in her life was one where she was being verbally abused and finally her brother for her out of that mess and now she just remains single and ready to mingle if you know what she means.
Appearance: Bonnie stands at the small height of five foot four and has a slim body but she is not that curvy but she does have a bit of a chest it's just a nice butt she lacks on. Her skin is a nice color it's not too dark and it's not too light which is just perfect for her. Bonnie has small hands but her fingers seem to be long and are easily used for playing piano and playing it well. She has dark intense brown eyes that are indeed natural and are not contacts. She has petite lips that are very pale and if she ever wanted them to stand out then she would have to wear lipstick of some sort. As for her hair it is dirty blonde but she has more blonde than anything.. Over all Bonnie is quite petite and average.

Relationships:
Marie: Her sick mother
Blake: Her older brother
Brielle: Her older sister
Rogersons: He looked out for her when she was younger and he was her brother's best friend.

Eleanor Louise Carson

Image

Preferred Name: Ellie.
Role: Three.
Apartment Number: 196.
Age: Twenty-Three.
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual.
Occupation: Intern at Folkmore General Hospital

Fears: Arachnophobia, Coulrophobia, and Thalassophobia.
Dreams: To get out of the hospital and enrol in art school; she doesn't like working there, and is only there to pay the bills, and ensure that her father is proud of her. Also, she really wants a stable relationship for once, someone that will actually stay with her, despite her personality.

Personality: Ellie isn't the easiest person to get along with to say the least. She's that bitchy girl that doesn't let anyone get close to her, and is always making a scene about the littlest of things. Most things annoy her, such as something laying on the floor, the bed not being made properly, or someone making too much noise outside throughout the day time. To be honest, she's not the nicest person to be around. She tends to bring the mood down a lot, because of her pessimistic outlook on life, and for that, friends and stable relationships have always been a scarcity for her. The thing is, there seems to be no reason for her stubborn attitude, her bitchy ways, and her obsession with order, but that's just the way that she is. Maybe it's because she's been held down by the neck for her entire life and she's rebelling? Who knows, 'cause Ellie sure doesn't. The only way that she can release all of that anger in his body is by painting. Her art is her life, and it always has been. It's her release, her sanctuary, and her passion. If only her parents saw that though....
Background: Eleanor Carson was born into a rich family, and her life was never truly hers. She was moulded into the person that her parents wanted her to be from a young age, being forced to take ballet lessons, when she wanted to play football, playing the violin and the piano, when she wanted to be leaning the drums, and taking Latin and Chinese, when she wanted to learn Spanish. Her rebellious streak just grew and grew as she moved through the grades at school, and by the time that she finished high school, she knew that she didn't want the life that her parents had chosen for her. She had already been enrolled into medical school by her parents, her father being the Chief of Medicine at Folkmore General, but she wanted to be an artist. Of course, her own thoughts were never put into account, and she was forced into the profession of medicine, despite having a hatred of copious amounts of blood. She's slowly trying to make her parents, especially Daddy, that she isn't happy being a doctor, and that she would rather spend her time doing something that she loves, but he won't listen. He never listens. Daddy issues much? Maybe that's why she doesn't see him any more. Whenever he requires her attendance at something, she begrudgingly goes, such as the medical conferences in Anaheim and Nashville, but she always shows that she doesn't like being there. Her rebellious streak isn't working on her father, but there seems to be nothing else that she can do, except go along with his plans.
Appearance: Ellie stands at a feminine height of 5"5, which however is usually pushed up with some heels mounting her feet. Her curly brunette locks, inherited from her mother, flow to just half way down her back, and is usually left in a messy array on top of her hear. However, sometimes she does throw it up in a ponytail of a messy bun, but only when she is working at the hospital, or on her newest piece of artwork. Her eyes are a stunning shade of blue, and she has been told by her mother that it's "like looking into the deepest part of the ocean." They're framed by long lashes, ones that are usually coated in some form of mascara, just to make them pop a little more. Her eyes are also usually lined with some sort of thick eyeliner, and her pink lips with a glossy coat of glitter. On her curvaceous body usually sits clothes, sizes 8 - 10; whatever she feels comfortable in, to be truthful. Her favourite colours to wear are black and red, so with every outfit, she has to have something of those colours. Heels are her choice of shoes, however, her converses also fit nicely with any outfit; the heels are only worn because she likes the noise they make on her hardwood floor. Finally, around her neck always lays alocket given to her by her Grandmother Eleanor before her passing. She never leaves her home without it on - it's her good luck charm.

Relationships: Reese: "My best friend. I can talk to him about anything if I needed to. But I want more. I know I can't, he's married, and has such a complicated past, but .... *sigh*..."
Bandit: "I think I've seen her around before in some art galleries. Striking hair that girl has. She's got good taste in art; maybe she's an artist too like me?"

A little extra: Ellie's been suffering from Bulimia since she was thirteen years old, and has male ferret called Benji that she keeps hidden from the landlord.

Seth E. Jones

Image
Preferred Name: E, because he likes it that only a few know what the E stands for. Perhaps Ears.
Role: Nº 4.
Apartment Number: Nº 151.
Age: Thirty-one, if he remembers correctly.
Sexual Orientation: As unbendable as uncooked spaghetti noodles.
Occupation: A would've-been economist in his little daydreams but in reality, an actuary.

Fears: Random noises in the middle of the night like the leaking faucet in the kitchen, Cujo ("Yes, it's fictional, but it's a dog gone mental."), rabies, going way over his budget, cockroaches, the sensation of falling.
Dreams: Of being an economist on Wall Street or some big stock exchange, be able to sort things out in his life, have a few crazy kids with some woman. Find a woman he can fall in love with.

Personality:
Background:
Seth had gone through some rough patches before he moved to Burkland Meyer. Conflicts of interest, sparks flying, boom. Everything seemed to have been lost the day that he'd broken up with his girlfriend Sue. Not that he was too affected by it; he actually found the break a surprisingly refreshing end to something that'd been constraining him for four years. She had been the reason he stayed an actuary, after all. Packing his bags, and very sadistically burning in a steel drum whatever things she'd accidentally left behind after she took her things and moved back to her flat (including that precious ring that her bastard of a lover gave her while they were dating), he sold the flat they'd managed to bear with each other in and moved to a whole different place, one where he knew he wouldn't know anyone. Well, that's what he thought. Before this entire 'adulthood and the problems it brought every single day after 21' thing started, he was born and raised by two married people.

The entire couple thing had taken off at Brighton Pier. Both were artists with youth flowing in their veins. His mother's name was Renee McComb. She'd come in from a different country, in Ohio. Her parents weren't quite so aware that she was idly wandering about, not getting any work done. Desperate, she walked all the way to the beach, wanting to get a slice, or a crumb, of some reminder of home sweet home, of those vacations in California. Somewhere in another part of the pier was Thomas Jones, some young lad from Bangor, Gwynedd, who was frustrated by his lack of resolve about how his life was going to turn out. He was tormented by that mantra he'd been repeating in his head over and over again. I lack any real talent, so why the hell am I here? I suppose he already knew the answer to that. Nobody would've stayed that long enough through that kind of phase. The two's chance meeting, well, sparked things. Before long, the two had done what they were sure they'd never do in their lifetimes — they got married, and they had children. They were united by a mutual fear — becoming normal, becoming boring.

Culture clash and a dab of artistic conflict was what made up the Jones home. Both his parents were quite unserious about their relationship as a husband and wife. They needed to act like they were still dating on-and-off, but in all honesty, it was quite confusing for their three children. One half of the living room was painted yellow, the other half looked as if Jackson Pollock had ransacked it. There was seasonal arguments about trivial things, and making up was another usual thing. The flare that both his parents shared would die out soon enough, much like his father did. He was diagnosed with leukemia too late. He thought it was his natural tendency to get sick. And well, after he'd gotten the diagnosis, that soft shell had hardened somewhat. He tried to make up by helping his kids through it, exposing them to the unhappy truth despite the risks it would entail. Slowly, and surely, he withered away until he was finally six feet under. His mother had intended to continue the same charade, so normalcy was a consistent thing, but found that she couldn't raise children after his death. Finding out that she'd been that in love with Thomas was more than enough for her to bear. With her mother-in-law's blessing, she sold the house that the five of them had been living in, packed their things and moved to her side of the pond.

Renee moved next to her sister's place after some pestering on both their parts. While not wanting to leave her three children all alone, she was forced to take a job somewhere so she wouldn't be so much of a burden to her sister's family. In return, Seth took care of his aunt's youngest daughter Bandit. His home life was, on another scale, as equally unstable as his previous life, but eventually settled down enough for him to maintain his sanity. Pretty soon, he grew to like the place and began calling it home, understanding his mother's want to forget the life they had back in Brighton. Remembering and comparing it to what he had now gave him one too many pains — pains he wouldn't bother to keep with him.

School life had gone by pretty quickly. He had a particular gift with numbers, and all throughout his school days he took mostly advanced classes. He made fairly easy work out of it, much to his mother's horror. With this particular talent, however, his mother couldn't find solace in. And when Seth declared his intentions of becoming an economist or something of the sort in the business world, his mother was horrified. Though her youth was long gone, she still held on to the belief that she and her husband used to share. Seeing her son become "one of them" set her completely off the edge, and she didn't talk to her son for over a month until she finally recovered, seeing sense in that it was what Seth wanted. It was also Seth's reassurance that the free life that his mother and father had was still the life he loved and yearned for, but to support himself, he'd have to have a job; his dream of working on Wall Street or the LSE was a passionate one. His mother relented, and left her son to his own devices.

And so a bachelor's degree rolled in, found a job as an actuary and worked for an MBA simultaneously, got his graduate degree, and here he is. Bored with life.

Appearance: 5'9", fit enough, blue eyes, brown, constantly cropped hair.

Relationships:
He has immediate family, but they live so far away. Or rather, he lives far away from them. His mother, Renee, still lives next to his aunt. He has two younger siblings: Janey, who has a teaching job at an art school, and Pete, a pianist.
There's Sue, who was his girlfriend of three years, but she's definitely obsolete.
Bandit is his cousin. Having near same interests, it would strike him as odd if he didn't make fast friends with her. He took care of her while she was still a girl, hand in hand with his mum and his aunt. He'd help cultivate her interest in the arts and keep it alive for as long as possible, trying to keep her from giving in to his uncle's and other cousin's interest. This idea of him would make him sound like a total ass for making her listen to him, but he wouldn't want her giving up her happiness for some crummy old job she wasn't satisfied with at all. Now that they're neighbors, well, they visit each other more often than not. Over at his for Chinese, some old kung-fu or vintage horror flicks, maybe some Battlefield, or try and get inspiration from that daisy he has in a pot he grows on the windowsill. Or hers, for jumping on the bed, telling stories, eating what's left of the leftovers, among other things.

I have no idea whether the picture is temporary.

Bandit Lilah Hart

Image

Preferred Name: Bandit is just fine... But she'll let people call her Bee too.
Role: Five
Apartment Number: 14
Age: Twenty-two
Sexual Orientation: Homosexual
Occupation: She's an artist. Maybe not professionally, but she makes enough money from it to survive. And that's good enough for her.

Fears: Bandit has severe Trypanophobia, major Claustrophobia, and minor Acrophobia. Other than that, she's just scared of things that most people are afraid of.
Dreams: She really wants to learn how to speak and understand French fluently, and maybe even visit the country itself one day. Next to those things on her list is to have at least one of her paintings put up in a museum one day. Not necessarily to gain recognition, but just to have something to be really proud of.

Personality: Friends and family have have always considered Bandit to be, for the lack of a better word, different. She never really fit into the cookie-cutter lifestyle the community she grew up in had, even though the rest of her family seemed to. She's not one of those preppy, constantly happy girls (though she does smile quite a bit), but she's not one of those quiet lonerish ones either. She has her moments though. She's generally a pretty friendly girl, and doesn't mind engaging in conversations with random strangers, and she really does enjoy the company of other people...she even craves it sometimes. It does get kind of lonely living alone, believe it or not, so it's very like her to invite people over often, even if she literally just met them. But there's sometimes where she really prefers to be alone. Bandit is usually pretty calm, but there's some topics that just really get her really excited and almost overly happy, such as when she's taking to someone about her art. That really gets the party going. She's a pretty optimistic person, and can usually come up with one or two good alternatives to a bad situation. It takes a little bit to get her upset, but if she does get mad at someone or something, she'll only go as far as yelling at them/it. She might throw something at them/it, but not with the intention or hurting whoever/whatever it was. Then, in the case of another human, she may stay mad at the person for a while. At least until they give a proper apology, and she feels better about the whole situation. Bandit loves, loves, loves, art, but absolutely hates cleaning up the messes she makes. So her house it cluttered with art supplies, from tubes of paint ranging from brand new to completely empty all over the house, to colored pencils and drawing markers left on her bed. But she can find everything perfectly fine when she needs it, so she doesn't consider it to be too messy. It may be much cleaner though if she was living with someone, but since she lives by herself for now, the mess stays.
Background: Bandit grew up living in the 'ideal American family', consisting of her, her mother, father, and older brother. They lived in a light yellow house in a nice suburb with a snow white picket fence, grass, and the cutest most lovable dog anyone could ask for. Her dad worked in a cubicle all day while her mother stayed home and took care of Bandit and her brother. When he was old enough to be interested in doing so, her brother was out playing soccer with the neighborhood boys, or on the team at school. But when it came to Bandit, she wasn't exactly the perfect little girl. First off, she had no interest whatsoever in playing jump rope, or hopscotch, or handball like all the normal little girls. She's much rather be out underneath the big tree in her yard with her coloring books and crayons. Then, when she got to middle school and all the girls were concerned with how to do make up, or how much to have on, or who to 'go out' with, she could care less about any of that. Her concerns were more with how her latest drawing or paining looked, or what new art supplies she needed to ask daddy for, or how well colors went with one another (even her outfits had to flow correctly for her to even put them on). She did become a little interested in make-up in seventh grade though. But it was less for looking good for the boys and more for expression. She actually tended to stay away from the normal blacks and brown most girls wore, instead liking to have every other color there was to offer. From mascara to eye shadow, it all had to be some 'unusual' color. And it always had to go with what she was wearing of course.

Only a little really changed when she entered high school. She was still very artsy (and quite a bit improved, if she didn't say so herself), and colorful (since she'd started dying her hair too), and...just Bandit. Art class was her favorite part of the day of course, and honestly, the rest of her classes were just there. She was a C average student, which her father wasn't exactly happy about. Especially when her brother, Eric, got straight A's, and managed to play football, soccer, and baseball when they were in season. Bandit was quite satisfied with her grades though, and that was all that mattered to her, which she told her dad every time a grade report came out. "These grades aren't going to get you into college Bandit!" her father would often yell at her, to which she would reply "Maybe I don't want to go to college dad! That may be what Eric wants, but it isn't what I want!" before slamming her bedroom door and locking herself away for the night. In all honesty, she did want to go to college. But for art. Which she was sure her dad would tell her she couldn't do. So she just told him that she wasn't interested in it at all to try and save herself from any more conflict. It was in her sophomore year that Bandit figured out that she was really much more attracted to girls than boys. Her mother was the most accepting of her three family members (she'd always been very accepting and supportive of her anyway), while her brother and dad never really acted the same towards her again. Bandit had two 'girlfriends', if they could really be called that, during her four short years in high school. Neither of them ever wanted to go on an actual date with her, or sit with her at lunch, or walk her to her classes, or really socialize with her too much...and they especially didn't want to bring her home for dinner. She believed it to be because they wanted to preserve what reputation they had, and she figured that if reputation was more important than her, then they didn't deserve her as a girlfriend. So she ended up leaving both of them. By the end of those experiences, it wasn't a secret to anyone in the school, or the community even, that she was a lesbian.

Bandit ended up graduating high school just fine, and never once stopped (or even thought about stopping) doing her art. And as soon as she'd gathered enough money from various sources to buy a home and support herself, she left. She never did make any attempts to get into an art college though, deciding she'd much rather dive right in and see what became of herself. She lived in a different set of apartments for a few years, but when rent became too much to manage, she had to move to the apartment she lives in now. And she's perfectly happy here. Because she gets to do the thing she loves most every day, and doesn't have to feel judged by her father or brother any more. An actual real girlfriend to love would only complete her image of a perfect life.

Appearance: Bandit stands at 5'4", "The perfect height for a girl" she's been told. She forgets to eat sometimes, causing her to be thin, but not to the point of looking unhealthy. Her hair is naturally black, but it's never that color, it's always dyed something different. And currently it's blue. Only once in her life has it ever been long, and in that once she decided that she didn't really like it. Shoulder length is really her limit, but she doesn't really want it above her ears either. So she has it cut just above her shoulders, with two pieces just a bit below them. She has dark brown eyes, which are hardly ever intensified by colorful make-up anymore...but she didn't stop wearing it completely. She only wears it once in a while. The majority of the clothes she wears are like that of a teenagers still. Because Hot Topic is her absolute favorite store, and she is not ready to stop shopping there.

Relationships: Seth, her cousin. He used to watch her when she was little, which she remembers quite fondly, actually. Then when she got into her teens, they started just hanging out, despite the age difference. And before too long, she started to consider him as more of a brother than her real one.. Now, they're neighbors of all things! But Bandit isn't about to complain, since she's always thought of him as a pretty cool guy...and in all honestly he's probably the only family member that she'd really want to live this close to. And since they visit each other quite often, she doesn't have to worry about getting too lonely or anything, which is a plus.

Rogerson Lee Mayers

Image

Preferred Name: Stick with Rogerson.
Role: Six
Apartment Number:29
Age: 26
Sexual Orientation: Straight as can be.
Occupation:While he dreams of rising to the top of the Journalism world, for now he's just another low paid Journalist for the Northern Times.

Fears: Snakes and babies would are his main concern and fears in the world. Snakes- he just thinks it's too disgusting how they just seem to..slither everywhere. Babies- more or less he's more afraid of how fragile they can be. With his luck he'd end up dropping one and never forgiving himself.
Dreams:Becoming a top journalist; one where his stories can be read all over the world, printed in diffrent languages, and loved or hated by many. He's hoping to make this lifelong dream come into fruition at some point during the next five years, otherwise he'll probably end up having some sort of break down.
Personality: A regular quirk of Rogerson's is to be very straightforward and honest about everything he does. Sometimes his words and action can come off as a bit harsh, but he generally only says the truth about things, which quite a few people rarely want to hear. He finds himself close friends with quite a few girls, usually finding him to be a good person to talk to about pretty much anything a girl could think of. He considers himself to be knowledgeable enough that he can answer any question, which could come off as cocky but he manages to pull it off with a sheepish grin that's become his trademark since childhood.A fun loving and charming guy who surprisingly, hasn't had many girlfriends in his lifetime. Girls tend to place him in the friend zone before he can even get a chance to ask any of them out on a date. Most days it rarely bothers him, except when friends of his start blabbing about their girlfriend when he's playing on Xbox with them. Then it gets to be a bit annoying, and his jealous side will come out.
Background:Rogerson was born and raised with the high morals and values of a religious and strict Christian family. No sex, no drugs, rock'n roll, or T.V. after six pm. They were wealthy enough, but that didn't mean he was waited on hand and foot. Forced to wake up at five A.M to go to soup kitchens, bake sales, and charity events galore, he grew up being told that if you didn't do or give anything to people you were a bad person. His father, Evan Mayers was a pastor at the local church while his mother Claire, worked and owned Mayer's Bakery. The family wasn't too affectionate, and while neither parent beat him, spankings were a frequent thing. He didn't grow up to be bitter or resentful of his family, but rather indifferent. After high school he quickly moved out of the house , moving into his own apartment from his savings and working a couple jobs around town. He was the happiest he had ever been during his time living apart from his family. It was as if the weight of the world had been lifted off his shoulders, and he could enjoy life and all it's gifts without his parents constantly nagging or judging.
After a couple years of minimum wage jobs and savings, he moved again and enrolled himself in a few writing classes at the community college. Writing had always been a passion of Rogerson's as it was a way for him to get his feelings out, without him saying a single word. Since he was a kid he had college rule notebooks filled with updates about what was happening around school, church, and even the latest gossip around town. His older brother Jeremy, used to tease him calling them diaries, but what they actually were, was tiny newspapers. It would have all the information one would find in the Times or Gazette, just without the format of a newspaper. You could say that's where the start of his Journalism dream came from.

Appearance: Rogerson is an average sort of guy. Around 5'11, with an athletic build though without any Hulk like muscles that all his brothers seemed to have inherited. Blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, matched with his t-shirt and jeans sort of look tends to make him look like the average boy next door. His hair is usually messy as he never styles it unless a friend [preferably female] does it for him. He can sometimes have horrible posture, usually bending down to write with his nose inches away from any piece of paper, or leaning forward towards a computer screen. From a distance, he can give out a somewhat cool vibe, with his messy hair and general good looks. He's positive that if he managed to find a girl that he really liked, he's be able to woo her within a couple days.

Relationships:Rogersons's known Bonnie since she was little, having been friends with her brother Blake for several years. He's looked out for her as much as her brother did and actually considered himself friends with her. After he moved away, he hadn't kept in contact much with the nineteen year old.

Connor Reese Daniels

Image

Preferred Name: Reese
Role: Seven
Apartment Number:204
Age: Twenty-Seven
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Occupation: Criminal Justice Professor at the local university.

Fears: Claustrophobia, Spheksophobia,
Dreams: To raise his daughter well, provide for his family, and be happy.

Personality: Reese Daniels can be summed up in three words, funny, charming, and unhappy. He has an amazing sense of humor and prides himself in making people laugh. He's a charmer, saying exactly what he needs to get what he wants. And he's unhappy. He puts on a good front, but those closest to him know that he's not all smiles all the time. Reese is well educated and had one day planned to study law, but he never made it that far. So, he just settled for a position as a professor. Reese is a pretty laid back guy. He tries not to get too worked up over things he has no control over. The only thing that really get him worked up is his daughter. He's a worrier when it comes to little Amalia. Overall, you could say that Reese is stable and content. He may not be happy, but he's a determined person. He'll do whatever he can to make his daughter happy.
Background: Reese isn't the person her was when he was just a high school student. Back then, Reese was outgoing and loud. He partied, he flirted, and he had fun. Maybe a little too much fun. But, we'll start from the beginning. Reese had just got out a relatively serious relationship with a girl named Julie. He'd been the one to end things and thought nothing about the girl. That's when he met Brielle. That'd gone to school together for years, but Reese hadn't paid her much mind. Soon, they began hanging out and Reese caught himself falling for the girl. Then, as it usually does, all hell broke loose. Three months later, Julie showed up on Reese's doorstep with a little extra weight and a positive pregnancy test. He, being the man that he is, knew that he had no choice, but to end things with Bri and work things out with Julie for the sake of their child. Even today, Brielle is remembered as the one who got away. Both Reese and Julie finished high school and just six short months later, Julie was giving birth. After a twenty-three hour labor, Amalia May Daniels entered the world. At the hospital, Reese made a new friend who helped with the delivery of their baby. Now today, they are bestfriends. Her name is Ellie. Julie became a stay at home mom, while Reese went to college and studied Criminal Justice. Not much has happened in the nine years since Amalia was born. Reese has realized that his marriage is loveless, but stayed with Julie for the sake of Amalia. He doesn't know that his wife is cheating.
Appearance:

Relationships:Julie: Wife
Amalia: Daughter
Brielle: The one who got away.
Ellie: Close friend.

Dangggg. He sure has a lot of women in his life. :)

Well, Bandit's done as promised =) I kind of wrote a lot. I didn't mean to write that much...I just got carried away I guess. But I'm leaving the relationship thingy open for now until I really understand what to do with it...I'm kind of slow sometimes =p

And yes, Ellie probably is going to be jealous of her! But I'm sure Bandit would just love to have her over to do artsy stuff with whenever she wanted, regardless ;p

The relationships don't have to be extremely significant, someone could be another's little sibling or something. Even a cousin would do, just as long as they have some sort of past. Perhaps an old enemy from high school or college or something. I don't really care, just as long as you're connected to one of the seven. The idea is that everyone is connected to one another.

Anyway! I'll finish my character sheet probably tomorrow or the next day. Let's try and finish them up so that we can get started over the weekend!
