Sophie sat crosslegged on a nearby roof; watching the strange group. She'd been watching them for a while now, having nothing better to do, plus they seemed a quite a suspicious set of companions. Maybe they were conspiring or something. Maybe that had to do with why the sheriff's place was in ruins when she ran past earlier; and why there had been so many strange suspicious-looking men around recently. But either way; she had already ruled out that this was just some strange set of randomly unlinked occurances. Something must be going on. Plus; everyone knows that jesters couldn't be trusted. At least she thought that funny looking one was a jester. She'd seen him around town doing jester-like things. Well; she assumed they were jester-like things. She'd never really met any jesters.

Sophie leaned forward as she saw the nearby tavern's barmaid. She appeared to be asking them to come in. Nah, that nice lady in on it? No way! Now her interest was definitely peaked. Sophie turned around, slipping down the other side of the roof so as not to be spotted. She hid around the corner. Were they going inside? Naturally Sophie would have to follow them; wherever they decided to go. It was much better then doing something productive with her life.

Sophie was slightly tall for her age; with dirty blonde hair tied back tightly in a pony tail. She wore a brown cap on her head; that was slightly too big for her, so it concealed her bright blue eyes in shadow. Sophie wore two big, tan worse-for-wear boots which looked ancient; long baggy trousers tucked into them, also tan-coloured, and a baggy long sleeved top. There were too long, thin slits from the wrist to the elbow, which could barely be seen. Had you seen her from a distance or square on; she would of appeared to be a boy. Sophie never corrected anyone if they got her gender wrong. It was too much effort and she didn't care about what they thought anyway.

Eaon moved through the town slower this time. Limping noticably on his leg. His face was blank as normal though, not letting the pain show on his face. Once he was in the forest, he picked a large branch from a tree, and quickly broke it off, using it as support. He moved slightly faster this way, and with less pain.

He didn't move nearly as quietly as before, if an attacker was laying in wait, he would have been easily ambushed. He pushed through the bushes hiding his camp soon after, and began to pack his things, first retreiveing his coins from beneath the burnt rock. He rolled his bedroll up, and strapped it onto his pack, he gathered the rest of his belongings into the pack, before placeing it on his back, and begining to head back to the town.

As Eaon neared the edge of the forest, he left his stick behind, walking into the town on his limp, unaided.

Noon has just departed the clear blue skies. A breeze whisked through the streets and ruffled Mark's robes. Though the doctor had intended to leave in search for a job, it would be truly rude - in his opinion - to decline this lady's friendly offer. After all, she did cure him of his hunger. And plus, it was not as though he was in any hurry. Looking into the pub Crimson nodded in acceptance to the offer. Then he spoke to Road who stood just beside.

"Shall we? Sorry I never caught your name. Mister...?"

"Oh, ah, Road. It's Road," he greeted awkwardly, finding himself saying that much too often lately. "I'm pleased to meet you, Mr. Crimson."

He started to follow Melody, when just behind him were footsteps. Expecting Eaon's arrival, Road turned to see a lone stranger, with an odd choice of clothing. Feeling a little light-hearted recently, the trickster couldn't help but be a little courteous. "Hey there," he greeted. "We were just going to be served some drinks. You're free to join us."

Sophie stood frozen still for a moment; wondering if the man who called himself "Road" had turn to talk to her. She then turned slowly and looked up and down the road. Nobody else appeared to be there. He must of spotted her. She took a step onto the street; regarding Road suspiciously. Sophie then looked his companions up and down. Yes; very suspicous. Maybe they had realized she had been spying. Maybe they were going to spike her drink if she went in. She'd have to be careful.

Sophie very cautiously strode over to the group; standing to one side slightly so as to see everyone at once. "Hello." she greeted bluntly; neiher offering a handshake or her name. Best not to take any chances at this point.
