So its offcially started

So in the beggining you all have to be taken to pallet town somehow or another to retrieve your first pokemon. :)

So let me start

Myru and her father sped on the back of his giant Arcanine, her little growlithe tucked behind her arm. Her father was finding it difficult to concentrate, since Myru's long blond hair was blowing into his face.

They had just been through Viridian forest, on thier way to Pallet town, so Myru could start her journey as a Pokemon trainer. 'Are we nearly there yet?' She asked trying to raise her voice over the Arcanine's pounding footsteps.
'Soon' was all her father replied as they passed a small town, with a gym in. It was Viridian, so they were nearly at Pallet. She never really understood why she had to go to Pallet for her starter Pokemon, she had Growlithe.... but her father insisted she start her journey properly and get a pokemon from the professuer too. He always said little Tobi was more of a pet than a Pokemon.

The arrived into Pallet town, Myru seemed to be the first to arrive outside the old building.

"Katie, we're lost," Zelle pointed out for the millionth time, her legs swinging from the side of her bicycle as the other woman dismounted, consulting a map with a furrowed brow and an impatient tap of her foot.

"Well darn, Zelle, I coulda sworn this was the right way," she said, her bright dress swirling around her calves as she paced along the grass, apparently trying to match the surrondings to something on the map, "Yanno, ain't you from Kanto anyway? Would thought you'd know the area better."

Zelle sighed and adjusted her sunglasses, trying to hide how her face was reddening. She began to walk along, dragging the bike beside her.

"Told you, I've never been this far from Fuschia before. I just presumed you'd know because you're the one who was so determined to get help from that professor dude," she continued dully. Katie shrugged and toyed with the pokeball in her hand - there were odd metal pieces clamped to it in places, and a red seal across the button. Katie had had Astra, her Clefairy, for years now, but had sealed the pokeball after she decided she didn't want to train. In retrospect, it was a stupid and needlessly cruel thing to do, but at the time she had just wanted a way to make it clear to anybody who would or wouldn't listen that she had no intention of becoming a trainer, no intention of doing anything at all. It was, to be blunt, an incredibly depressing sort of symbolism.

Katie smiled at the other woman brightly as a small, sleepy village appeared before them as they moved steadily forward. The only things moving were the flocks of Pidgey flapping lazily overhead, dark against the warm summer sun. It was an entirely unremarkable village, with a gym or even a pokemon center, but even from her Katie could see Professor Oak's lab standing high on a hill away from them.

"Haha, see Zelle, I told ya this was the right way," she said triumphantly. Zelle shook her head and rolled her eyes.

"Okay, yeah, yeah, shut up."

“Are we there yet?”

The infamous question rang out for about the fifth time in the last 10 minutes of the 30 minute journey. A daughter had to raise her voice and shout down her father’s ear just for to to hear. The wind was ripping through their hair as they travelled at a few miles per hour, alofted high in the sky on the back of a beautiful bird type Pokemon, a Pigeot. The father, whose name was Johnnathan Fray, turned to look at the mess of long black hair which was his daughter’s head, pressed against his back as she held on to him tightly. His eyes rolled underneath his flying goggles, which protected his eyes and stopped them streaming with tears as his precious Pokemon could reach up to 100 m/h in the air.

“Hush, Frankie. Keep your knickers on darlin’ and hold on tight. We’ll be decending soon.”
Frankie, the 16 year old daughter, attempted to remove her face from her dad’s back to look below them, but all she got was the wind messing up her hair into an even more wild style and a full view of Pigeot’s feathers. She too was wearing goggles, though they were only the weak kind, seeing as Pigeot was only flying at around 5 m/h, probably less. Her belly tickled as she felt the bird Pokemon drop a good ten metres or so and she shoved her head against her father’s back again, who smiled at her adoringly over his shoulder. His poor daughter was clearly better off getting a water type. Flying wasn’t really her forté. They decended quickly, dropping further and further towards the ground until people could be made out.

“Hey, looks like we aren’t the only one here. Look.” John encouraged his daughter, who looked and even got confident enough to loosen her arms around his waist. She could indeed see people; two of them had appeared with a large, beautiful Arcanine and the other pair were riding on a bicycle. Pigeot managed to beat them by a few seconds, swooping down and landing gracefully near the Arcanine, but left some respective distance between them. John nodded to the other older man, who seemed to be the other young girl’s father and then jumped from his bird-type without a hint of hesitation. Frankie was much more careful, denying her father’s help but slipping slowly from Pigeot as it remained unbothered and oblivious to the humans on it’s back.

“Hey there.” John said as he stepped forward, ripping off his goggles and running a hand through his short black hair, spiked from the window. He looked at the other pair of father and daughter through pure emerald orbs, rubbing the stubbles on his chin. His skin was nicely tanned. “Nice Arcanine you got there. Looks in good condition.” He commented as his daughter stepped up beside him, almost the spitting image of him. She also had black hair, which was long and straight and had some white dyed chunks in her diagonal fringe. Her skin was tanned and even her face was a little bit masculine. Thick Bollywood eyebrows, a high jawline and cheekbones. She was also quite tall, her figure was curvy; nicely rounded hips, long legs and a buxom chest already. Her eyes were a deep sapphire. She said nothing as she watched the other daughter, who already held a Pokeball.

Myru held Tobi close to her, people were gradually coming and when the Pigeot landed next to her and her father she closedher eyes in fright.

Greg, her father was already shaking the mans hand who had landed. He had bright blonde hair and his eyes were golden like his daughter. 'Nice to meet ya John, Your Pigeotto doesn't look half bad either'. He grinned widely, trying to push Myru to talk to the other girl.

Myru took a couple of steps forward, with Tobi barking happily. She smiled at the girl, looking at her long black hair in jealousy. Myru had blond hair, had pail skin, quite pretty and a skinny frame, but she had always wished to be different. 'Hey...My name is Myru' She said to the girl.

Her father looked on happy that Myru had plucked up the courage to talk to someone, he patted the large female Arcanine on the head.

Clyde was in the mist of traveling through a town known as Pallet town. It was his first few steps into Kanto Region. He had fully explored Hoenn already, and he
was beginning to see a few similarities already. His Ekans who had been trustingly at his side for a long time now, slithered along the path. Ekans looked up with a look of mystery in his face. A giant bird pokemon had just swept down from the skies near some sort of a lab. There was another pokemon that Clyde recognized as an Arcanine there.

"Why are people gathering there?" Clyde silently thought to himself.

He paced his way up the hill to the lab to find out what was going on at this location. He had been a traveler for years so he was used to people and their strange customs, but this event seemed to be ordinary for here. Then again, what did Clyde know, he was the new guy as always. He neared the people with his Ekans next to his side.

"So, why's everyone gathering here?" he asked calmly.

Meguni sat up in a pool of blood.
"What.. what happened..." she said to herself. A frosty wind blew through the trees to reveal several pokeball. Meguni quickly noticed them and crawled closer.
"What the..." She proded one of them with her index finger and it began to shake. Suddenly seeral pokemon revealed themselves.

Jean ran out of her house hoping that her mother and father wouldn't notice that she had run away. She made it to the Pokemon ranch out behind the professor's lab and stopped for a few seconds to catch her breath. It was the middle of the day and the sun was beating down on her face but as she turned to look for the Munchlax that was always outside at this time of day she forgot all about her issues with being hot. She squealed with joy as the Munchlax walked over to her and sniffed her hand for food which today wasn't there. "Just wait Munchy you'll be mine soon."

Jean moved towards the entrance to the profeors lab and noticed a few people waiting outside. She went over to them and said, "Hi I'm Jean are you guys new Pokemon trainers too?"

Drake grinned as he headed south, his dark uniform stuffed inside of his bag. He was going to receive his first pokemon, something that Team Rocket had told him how to accomplish. During training, he had used borrowed pokemon to show the cheapest ways to battle and the perfect pokemon to use for that job. Now, after training, he had to go to Pallet Town and pretend to be a normal rookie trainer to get his first pokemon.

In the tall grass, he was saved by some repel spray, though he constantly could catch the wild pokemon watching him as he imposed on their territory. "Am I going to be there soon?"

Cero breathed a heavy sigh, full of both excitement and worry. He would begin his long overdue pokemon journey today. Opening his eyes he could see the mid-morning sun through the blinds of the window turning his attention to the sole poke ball on his nightstand.

“No turning back,” he thought to himself.

After getting changed and double checking he had all the necessary items, Cero carefully walked into Jess’ room.

“Hey, I‘m going,’ he said carefully patting his back.

She turned to face him and gave him a hug, “Be careful”

“I will,” he reassured her.

Walking down the stairs he saw his mother sitting on the couch, she stood up and faced him holding his old red lunchbox by the handle in both hands.

“You have everything?” she asked handing him his lunchbox.

“Thanks, now I do,” he replied, “Call you when I get out of the forest. . .”

“Don‘t worry I can‘t expect you stay here forever, just stay out of trouble.” she responded, “Get to the lab early so you can have your 1st pick.”

“I already have a pokemon,” he thought. He didn‘t want to leave on bad terms, “Ok, bye mom”

Cero have her a hug and walked out the door. It was a clear day, around noon, which made the walk peasant. Trying to take for everything in this moment, he didn’t know how long the trip would be or when he would return. Taking the trial to the lab, Cero tried to imagine which pokemon would be available to choose from.

“A legendary pokemon would be nice,” he laughed to himself.

The lab was now in sight and he could already see a group forming, “Must not be opened yet. . .it figures.”

Frankie nodded as the other girl spoke to her, getting a stabbing in the back from her dad's elbow, pushing her forward. She regained her balance to glare at him. Her father chuckled and she flushed up when she realized she was still wearing her goggles. She pulled them off, running her fingers through her hair to comb i out of it's crazy, wind swept style. She shoved her goggles into her shoulder back, looking at Myru and giving her a small smirk. "Hey..." She replied back finally, her voice not exactly friendly, but not cold either. "I'm Frankie."

Her father smiled; he knew his daughter wasn't the most approachable girl for her age. He decided to distract the other father by signalling his Pigeot to hop forward, which it did obidiently, but proudly at the same time, not ashamed to be called shallow and or vain as it showed off it's impressive mane of feathers atop it's large head. It knew modesty was a nice quality, but it also knew it would be silly if it said it wasn't very attractive when it knew the way both humans and Pokemon stared at it when he flew up, awed by it's grace, speed, strength and it's fine looks. John then moved on to compare and compliment the Pokemon, pointing out Arcanine's fine fur and it's healthy looking mane. Frankie turned back to Myru.

"It's true what they say... Boys do like to show off their Pokemon." She let a small smile, attempting to crack a joke. Frankie was wearing black bootleg jeans, a long, whitw t-shirt saying 'I <3' and then showing a Pokeball, in typical 'I <3 NY' insignia. She had red high-top Converses, black, chunky bangles on her wrists, a silver chain round her neck with a fake Curelean Gym badge as a pendant. A grey, zipless hoodie and beanie hat were in her shoulder bag, which was black. Frankie turned to see the approach of a young man with a purple snake Pokemon slithering at his side - an Ekans. She didn't smile or greet him warmly, just answered his question.

"Why do you think? We're here to get our first Pokemon." Before the boy with the Ekans could answer, a bubbly girl hopped up the steps to the lab and introduced herself as Jean. Frankie couldn't help but wrinkle her nose. She hated too happy people - they got on her nerveswith their stereotypical high pitched voices and their ability never to feel anything other then happy, happy happy! etc. "No, we're all the electricians Prof. Oak called out to fix his lighting... Of course we're new Pokemon trainers..." She mumbled under her breath, just loud enough for only her to hear. Then she noticed the unusual Pokemon at her side, which looked like a little bit like a minature Snorlax. It was a Pokemon Frankie had never seen before.

Myru smiled at everyone who came, she didn't speak a word, her nerves were getting the better of her. She stroked Tobi's head, and he licked her arm in attempts to calm her.

She turned back to the only girl she knew 'Uhm so what pokemon do you want?' It came out in a splutter as usual, her voice was light and soft but she usually ruined it when her nerves took charge. Her father just sighed and turned to John 'Always been a little bag of nerved' the large Arcanine lay down and acted that she was ignoring the somewhat boastful Piggeoto. Greg just laughed.

Myru was still standing akwardly, trying not to squeel at the Ekans, she was petrified.

((becca-chu, Pigeot, not Pigeoto. Pigeoto is the smaller one and wouldn't be capable of carrying two almsot full grown people. :) Just so you're aware))

John smiled at his bird Pokemon attempted to impress the Arcanine, or at least the other, much smaller and much younger Pokemon. They weren't even the same species, so it was impossible for them to mate with one another, but even so, Pigeot was always aiming to impress. He noted what Greg had said, but said nothing, just looked at the blonde girl. She was exactly the opposite of Frankie, both physically and characteristically... Maybe they were rub off and improve each other if they travelled together.

Frankie also noted Myru was shy, her nerves were getting the better of her and she was squeamish of snake Pokemon. Frankie wondered if she was the same with Bug Pokemon and maybe Pokemon which were a bit ugly in appearence in general... It was a shame, really, but Frankie wasn't about to critisize her on it.

"Me? Well, you may not believe it, but I do have some 'girly' qualities, so I wouldn't mind beautiful Pokemon which are strong. But even if the Pokemon isn't the prettiest thing in the world, if it's loyal, reliable and has a sense of humour, happy days. What about you? You kinda strike me as the type to go for cute Pokemon, no offense." Frankie looked at her, folding her arms over her chest. She gazed at some of the other trainers. If they even thought they were getting a Squirtle, they were dead wrong.

Approaching the group, Cero was uneasy being the only adult starting his journey with people barely over half his age. The teenagers showed a variety of personalities from happy to antisocial.

“Oak better not get the idea of me being a babysitter to these kids,” he thought to himself.

Noticing the pokemon some of them already had he played a game to see who would pick their starter. The happy girl probably a Pikachu, but she could be a fierce fighter like a Marowak. The nervous one, probably favored a loyal pokemon. . .Charmander. The boy with the Ekans, it was hard to decided for him, he looked like a seasoned trainer. The somewhat distant girl probably a flying type or maybe even a psychic pokemon. Cero then pondered what pokemon he would like.

“A water type would be nice, but not a cliché starter pokemon,” he thought, “Shellder or Staryu, they evolve into strong pokemon, but so does a Ponyta. Jigglypuff despite its cute appearance can be a great foe with the right training or a Magneton. . . .”

Cero shook his head from his daydream which made him a little impatience; he wanted to get out of the forest before night fall and rest in Pewter City for some training with his new pokemon before heading to the gym.

Flannery was cycling through Viridian Forest, her Umbreon, Spooks, dashing ahead, chasing the Caterpie who ventured too close for her liking. Flannery had her full team with her, and the egg which was responsible for her journey to the Professor in Pallet Town. Her sister, an Eevee Breeder, had found the egg abandoned, and surely there was no better person to raise an egg than a Gym Leader? She had then handed her the egg before climbing onto her Pigeot and flying off.
A Gym was certainly not the place to raise an egg, and Flannery had been racking her brains trying to think of a way that she could give the egg away to someone who would train it and love it as much as she did Spooks and Beon. But wasn't today when the new trainers came to the Professor? Maybe nobody would want the hassle of raising an egg, and then having to look after a newly hatched pokémon. But then the Professor might have it for the next trainer, save it for someone else. Flannery couldn't look after it.
Spooks burst into the small town with a joyful cry, apparently delighted she had beaten her trainer. Flannery shortly followed Spooks, who had waited for her trainer, and who stuck close at the sight of the new pokémon. Flannery propped her bike against a fence, looking amused at Spooks suddenly shy personality.

I'm screaming I love you so

But my thoughts you can't decode.

As they approached the lab, Katie noticed a small throng of people standing outside the lab and chattering amongst themselves. She and Zelle exchanged an odd look.

"Must be starting trainers," Zelle commented, shrugging her shoulders. Katie appeared thoughtful, then placed Astra's ball in her bag to avoid embarressment. Sealing the poor Clefairy's ball was not something she was proud of, and she didn't want to give bad ideas to new trainers - it would certainly appear pathetic, a past trainer coming back to grovel for a second chance at being a trainer.

Katie turned and grinned at the other woman, who immediately sighed and knew what was coming. Katie was pretty much eager to talk to anybody ever, regardless of whether or not they wanted to actually talk to her and after a while, despite her anti-social personality, she had become accustomed to it. The shorter girl zipped ahead of her, standing amongst the people. There were a pair of young girls about the same age, one seeming more confident and the other seeming shy and nervous. She tried to smile encouragingly at her, feeling a brief pang of pity for the awkward girl. She didn't look that pleased about being there, as though she was only there out of obligation, and Katie could definitely empathise with that.

"Hey y'all, you waiting to get a first pokemon?" she greeted the group, as Zelle caught up with her, looking slightly indignant about being left behind in the more enthusiastic girl's dust.

"Can you at least wait for them to finish their conversation, Katie?" she said, not without a trace of amusement in her dry voice. She glanced apologetically at the others, leaning against her bike and toying with Asthma's pokeball.

Drake moved silently into the open, putting a dark blue cap over his eyes as he walked right past the trainers for the moment, heading for the small cafe where he could meet his pupil. They were both to pose as trainers here to see what kinds of Pokemon Oak had and to get a pokemon to call their very own. Then it would be off to do the business of Team Rocket.

((Sorry Rei, I knew which i was talking about but i had a mind spaz ))
Myru held her breath when the two girl on the bike came close to her. She just noddded when the nicer of the two asked if they were waiting for thier starters. She was standing behind Frankie, as if protecting herself. She wanted to be more confident but couldn't find the right words or a way she could stand so her body didn't look so... pathetic and akwards. Tobi ran energeticaly around her feet, hyper as alwas and very loving and protective of Myru. She giigled quite loudly, and then covered her mouth.

____

Jean walked alonf the edge of Cinnabar island, waiting for her transport to Pallet, Proffesuer Oak had asked her to accompany him on handing out the new pokemon to some trainers. She always loved a good trip to Pallet, like her father loved his Magma. She had been living alone know for five years, since her father deciede to search for new rare fire pokemon, which made her the gym leader.

A large brown fearow dropped beside her, it had a tag on its foot saying Oak. He always sent her a wonderful Pokemon to transport her to him, and they always amazed her. She brushed her hand along the bird types long feather and it squaked loudly at her. 'Calm down you stupid bird, I am only touching' and with that hoisted herself onto the bird who shot off immdeiantly.

It took about 30 minutes to reach Pallet, since Cinnabar was only across the water from it. She landed in front of all the rookie trainers, she half pushed past them adn entered Oak's lab. He greeted her warmly, and she let out all three of her Pokemon. Rapidash, with its long firey red mane, Charmeleon who was lying down immediantly on the floor. A Ninetails, that began howling and finally just like her fatehr a Magma. He inspected them all thouroughly and then asked her to invite all the trainers in and all the late ones could join later.

She exited the lab and opened the heavy front door. 'Come on in guys, fresh batch of Pokies for ya' she smiled at them.

Paying close attention to trainers he noticed the nervous hide behind her father when 2 girls introduced themelves to her. She left out a soft giggle, but quickly fell silent.

“She must do that when she‘s nervous,” he thought folding his arms.

A Fearow landed in front of group whipping air and sand in their direction with its wings. Cero held up his left arm to shield the partials from getting in his eyes. He wanted to bring forth Xatu and teach the girl and her pokemon lesson in courtesy but she quickly rushed into the lab. After a few minutes had passed she appeared again informing the group they could come in and get their new pokemon. Not wanting to get caught in the chaos of trying to be the first person in, Cero calmly walked behind group.
