StandardFiend, the only reason Tanya was talking to you from across the room is because Elros is the only person she actually knows the name of. She's overheard the other names, but does not have faces to assign them to, you know? ^_^

Anyway, since she isn't disguising herself, she's clearly a female human.
Beware the darkly cute ones ^_^

Oh, right... but that still leaves the problem of Elros being outside and unable to hear anything outside a few feet radius :D.

He's about to come in, though, and I was actually going to have him inspect the doors himself a little later on.

O heart, lament not, for this world is only metaphorical.
O soul, grieve not, for this abode is only transient.

You can describe half-elves like humans. They are just a bit fairer, and with slightly pointed ears compared to humans, so I don't think describing them as humans is a bad thing. If someone gets confused, we can always clarify it.

Thank you to Necrolegion for being the only one not completely ignoring the little half-elf stuck out in the rain trying pitifully to drag in the bandit. :D

Potats: Loche's a half elf, don't know if you knew that or not.

Yes I did, I just thought the DM said the appearance of one looked very human. Sorry, was that the other half-elf who was hiding the race?

Quick edit, but I think this pic is appropriate for my character: http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm1/ ... eRules.jpg

Hah, that's funny.

And if you're referring to Elros, he is making no effort to hide his race. There's a page in the PH that compares the facial structures of humans, half-elves, and elves. In my opinion, halfies aren't closer to either side; they're just about as in the middle as possible.

Actually, I have an idea how to play off this misconception. I will go with her lands being very human majority. She knows what an elf is, but the silly girl probably does not put two and two together with half breeds.

Think of her like a country bumpkin in that respect. :D

hahaha, no problem man. i am trying to piece things together as i go, and it is a little confusing with the time discrepancies between all of the characters. i thought that since there were four of us in the caravan, i might want to help one of em lol.

For reference, I'm not trying to metagame, but it seems as though Ponats and I share a brain wavelength, because I don't think this is the first time my post has referred to things his character was thinking about. I'm definitely not using them as prompts; it's entirely coincidence. Just thought I'd mention that, in case somebody cares.

I think it is an RP style. I like to use it as subtle marks for other players and for my own minds sake. ^^

And it also gives you a lot more to write about. xD

I bring with me, a Bottle of Inspiration, in case you all need music to tap into that creative caramel goodness; here's a few songs.

I reccomend Dungeon for those near the Dungeon, for Tanya especially if she is to descend into the madness that is behind that door somehow. Relief for the rest of the group, as most things are quite calm at the moment especially with the glow of the campfire.

I know this is out of the blue, but I've been reading the IC and can't help but smile.

A smilie costs nothing, but in the internet, it is EVERYTHING.

Hear ye, hear ye! These are some Roleplays I think are worth looking at, read all about it!

Smile, as in you like it, or smile, as in it's funny? :D

Both, especially the part about rolling a 20 and tossing a man INTO THE TOR! The way the DM beats around the bush to tell Tanya all doors are locked, made me crack up and choke on food.

Posting wise, I like it because it conveys an ambience without sacrisficing progressiveness. Unlike some RPs I've been in, where everyone over eleborates something and ends up snailing through the story. This one has a clear direction, with some characters being especially realistic making the read all the more enjoyable.

Yes, thank you!
Also, I'll hold off on posts for a bit, unless checks are needed or something like that. I will post when I think that there has been enough Roleplaying between the characters, or its getting too long. Anyways, no one has attempted to stabilize one of the bandits; everyone is just getting food. That part is funny to me, he's laying there dying :P But, by all means, let him die. I don't need another NPC ^.^
You can just assume that the caravan will continue eating, and yes the storm remains the same, and grows slightly more powerful. You'll be stuck in the Tor for a while.

Happy Roleplaying!
I will be reading them, so I'll know when to post. I won't let us get stuck in this roleplay thing for too long. Just long enough so that most of the PCs get to know each other a little bit.

Well, it is a role play, so I really don't mind these straight-writing bits. It's actually a really refreshing way of doing things; in normal campaigns, where everyone is sitting around a table, there usually is no room for this sort of thing. Sure, you'll "act" your character every once in a while when in a conversation with a notable NPC, but other than that, it's just all "OOC," so to speak.

And I do hope that Elros is realistic enough for you all... aside from being of a nonexistent species and all. So far I've tried to play into his alignment, but I was thinking that perhaps I tried too hard.

Anyway, you're doing a fantastic job so far, Krogren, so do whatever the heck you like :D.

Thanks, Standard *blushes* lol. Anyways, I do need to finish readjusting the adventure. I had to read over everything in the adventure section trying to figure out what the party's Estimated Level was. Then I just felt like an idiot. Anyways, I'm glad you're enjoying it!

You're doing good Standard! I like how varied the personality types are in this RP, usually we have like three brooding anti-heros or something like that.

Ponats, was Garreth asking for Roy's name or Loches' name, and is she going to react to Loche offering her money for food or was that her reaction? I'm confused...

Krogen, you're not reajusting it all for me are you? 8)
