Still Day Two
Jason was excited about this fight. If Darren was right, this would be a decent challenge, and he liked any chance to up his skills. As soon as class was done, he ran home to prepare. He slipped into the clothes he would wear to the fight, then went down to the basement, which held his punching bag and weights. He lifted and punched for over an hour, then drank some water. At 4:50, he left his house and ran to Willow Park. Willow Park was a little larger than your average city park, and certainly had more trees. He went to the baseball park where he suspected the fight was to take place. Darren and some of his other friends were there. They were connected into the fighting scene, and knew when a fight had been arranged. Jason looked around for his opponent, who was chatting to a couple colleagues. The kid he had beat up, Tony, was also there. He was wearing bandages and looked pretty bad. His opponent saw him and stepped into the park along with him. He was wearing blue jeans with a black tank top. "All right, Jason. Make your move." He assumed a fighting stance. "Mess 'em up, Jason!" Shouted Darren. Jason nodded and assumed his own stance. Jason ran at his opponent, Roy, and did a leg sweep, intending to use his right foot for the sweep. Roy turned his foot to the side to block the sweep, then threw a downward aimed punch at Jason's face with his right hand. Jason moved his head to the side and dodged it, then came up with an uppercut with his right hand. Roy turned from it, but came back with a right handed backhand punch that hit Jason across the face. He intended to follow it up with a left punch, but Jason raised his left arm to block it, then graabed his opponent's waist with his right hand and tossed him to the ground. He gave him two punches to the gut with his right hand, but Roy kicked him in the face with his right foot. Jason stepped back as his opponent got back up. Roy rushed Jason and intended to spin kick him across the face, using his right leg for the kick. Jason ducked under it and moved in, delivering four punches to his gut using both hands. Roy came up with a right knee to his face, and Jason butted him under the chin. Jason backed up and spit out the blood in his mouth. His opponent did likewise. Jason rushed his opponent again, veering to the right at the last second and drilling the guy in the kidney with his right hand, then followed it with a punch to the gut with his left hand, and a right side elbow to his face. Roy threw a straight punch with his right hand, which Jason grabbed and hit him in the nose with his left hand. He let go and loaded several punches into his face. When his opponent attempted to shove him backwards, Jason grabbed his hand between the fingers and began kneeing him in the gut repeatedly with his right knee. Roy came back with a headbutt, but Jason moved his head down so the hardest part of his skull took it. When he saw blood ooze from his opponet's mouth, Jason stopped and delivered a hard punch to his nose with his right hand, breaking the nose. He shoved his opponent back, then gave him a right straight kick to the gut. Jason knew that this fight was almost over. He turned and spin kicked him across the face with his right leg. He then balanced the right leg on his shoulder and came back with a second spin kick across the face with his left foot. It was his signature Double Spin Kick, first used in the sixth grade. His opponent was out, and Tony hung his head. Darren and his other friends were cheering, and Jason wiped the blood from his mouth. He saw Lola leaning against a tree, and walked up to her. "Didn't I tell you?" He flexed a muscle. "Nothing to worry about." Lola just sighed and walked away. Jason just stared as she walked away.
