As Jason stepped into the high school, everything looked shockingly normal. None of the strange, dark creatures were running around, and he could hear no sound. There was nothing but an ominous silence. Jason attached his weapon to his back, strange how he did that considering that it seemed to attach by defying gravity. He moved through the halls, and jumped at the sound of a clanging locker. Chastising himself a bit, he continued on. When he rounded a corner, he saw Lola and other school kids trapped under a collapsed roof. He saw the pool of blood and feared the worst. Letting his emotion reign over logic, he sprinted toward the site and attempted to lift the wreckage with brute strength. Even though he was strong for his age, he could not lift it. He dropped it after seeing it was no use. He then remembered a lesson from his junior high school Science class. He took his Keyblade off his back and placed the notched end under the wreckage so that it could act as a fulcrum. He began to lever up the collapsed roof, pulling kids from underneath it. When they were all out, he checked the pulses of the kids. Lola, thank God, was still alive, but her breathing was shallow. Two kids were dead, and he placed them in a dignified spot. He attached his weapon to his back and tossed Lola upon his shoulder. As he began to carry her through the halls, Heartless appeared. His eyes narrowed, and he pulled the Keyblade from his back. "You are not welcome here." They seemed to understand, and swarmed him. Jason cut through the horde, and carried Lola out the door. Darren and his posse were outside. Darren told him to get Lola to a hospital, while he and his boys trashed these creatures. Jason nodded and began to head in the direction of the nearest hospital.
