Personality:
Like most witches, Aeron is sharp and quick-witted, but isn't perhaps as perceptive as he could be. Despite having been born into Tractus, which is supposedly neutral, he does have some dark tendencies that he keeps hidden from the rest of his coven. He has a dark sense of humour, and is often on the receiving end of some rather disapproving looks from his elders when he can't stop himself laughing at the way someone or something has been killed.

Bio:
Although the war that has been raging between the covens for the past 150 years and the devastation it has caused doesn't really bother Aeron, he is uncomfortable with the fact that his own coven has split down the middle as a result of it. When he was fourteen, his best friend's parents decided to cross over to join with the half of the coven that had sided with Terra all those years ago; the first Aeron heard of it was the high-pitched whistle as several small balls of lightening flew at him from behind a tree. He barely escaped with his life and his parents waged their own private war on his best friend's family. Even though Aeron has always had a violent side and doesn't mind fighting against witches from different covens, trying to kill his former best friend doesn't exactly sit right with him.
On a brighter side, Aeron has recently befriended a member of the neighbouring coven Unda, Diarmuid Erus. Intrigued and fascinated by Diarmuid's strange obsession with killing animals, Aeron often joins him in the forest to help him torture some poor, unsuspecting creature. This is yet another secret he keeps from his coven.

Personality:
In all truth, Alida is dark and cunning, and will go to almost any length to get what she wants, but she doesn’t let anyone in her coven see this. To the outside world, she projects the image of shyness and vulnerability, as she worked out long ago that someone who appears innocent is hardly ever suspected. To be perfectly honest, there is probably no one in the Unda coven more worthy of suspicion; Alida watches everything, knows everyone’s worst secrets, and isn’t afraid to use them to her advantage. She is extremely untrusting as a result of her dark past, and refuses to open up to anyone, but she does have her eye on someone that she might be willing to get close to.

Bio:
When she was ten years old, Alida witnessed her mother being brutally murdered by her father. Instead of running into the middle of the village and informing all five covens of his crimes, the very young, very disturbed child vowed to bide her time and avenge her mother‘s death herself. She pretended not to have seen the murder, and appeared to believe her father when he told her that an unknown member of an unknown coven killed her mother, all the while planning revenge.

Over the years, Alida has purposefully isolated herself from her father; she tried getting closer to him in an attempt to find out how he killed her mother, but when that didn’t work, she allowed her hatred of him to take over and stopped bothering to spend any time with him. Although, at first, he noticed his daughter pulling away from him, after a while he put it down to ‘teenage stuff’ and let her be.

A few months ago, Alida stumbled upon Diarmuid Erus and Aeron Erebus in a clearing in the forest, torturing a small vole. Intrigued, she watched as Diarmuid quickly ended the creature’s life, and instantly recognised his method; he’d used the same spell her father had used on her mother. As they are in the same coven, Alida speaks to Aeron more than she does Diarmuid, and she knows he has an interest in her. However, as weeks of watching the pair revealed that Diarmuid is the only one who can work the spell she needs, she would rather befriend him. Unfortunately, Alida feels extremely self-conscious around Diarmuid, and hasn’t worked up the courage to talk to him. Of course, she tells herself that her caution is necessary as the situation is extremely delicate, but deep down she knows otherwise.
