___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Chari Profiles:

~Freak Show~
Name: Amy
Age: 17
Word Description: She stands a good 5'5 when wearing shoes, which are always Converse. Her hair is long, black and flows down to mid shoulders. Within the blackness of her hair are strands of red of or brown. A nice mixture. Her green eyes stand out as her best feature (minus personality), then again, some say her lips are her perfection. Her body is petite, and small other than her torso which is a good medium size. Her clothes are simple shirts and pants, though at times she wears more Hot Topic stuff instead of her standard Walmart clothes.
Pic: Image
Personality: She is an odd girl. At times she is good and calm, but at other times, she cant be controlled. Her personality is generally pleasant, if you don't provoke her to be mean. Amy has anger issues and isnt scared of anyone.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~Prince of Thorns~
Name: Prince Kesh
Age: looks 19 to 21
Word description: He stands about the same height as Jareth. A good 6'. when one is estimating. His long hair is silver a few strands matching the blond on Jareth's head. His eyes are the abyss of darkness that one would die in. Yes, the Prince of Thorns is indeed beautiful in appearance but the odd similarities to Jareth makes some wonder. The strong jaw, the fuller lips, the long lushes hair, the wicked smile. Yes they are similar.
Pic: Image
Personality: He is eccentric but playful. His personality is light, charming, bud also deep. He hold passion dear to him and he wants nothing more than to succeed in his mission of becoming king. Now along with his charm he has a darker side, that most don't see. He was said to be one of the few Generals who could defeat one of Jareth's armies in some of the wars that occurred. It was said he was the one who torchered goblins mercilessly despite his appearance of a rose. He was the thorn. Hence the name, Prince of Thorns.
Changes to the Labyrinth: Now there are pathways of roses and other flowers in bloom. The Labyrinth seems to be more colorful now, no thanks to Jareth.

~The Spy~
Name: Pixie
Age: looks mid teens
Appearance:

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

It was the end of the school day, the buses about to leave with students packed into the seats. Amy stood by her car, glad she didnt have to be crowded up in the buses. It was odd, they way she felt, as if something was watching her as she stood there. She looked at the car she sat on and laughed, its once nice paint job now coming off. "Shitty car." she muttered before driving off for the park.

The Labyrinth. Once a simple Labyrinth was now under reconstruction and war influence by Lord Jareth and Lord Kesh. These two men now tried to see who the better man was for the Labyrinth, but the tests were becoming futile. The thought had come between them, with no queen, how can they be king. With these exact thoughts in Kesh's mind, he headed to the human realm, waiting for a girl to luer in like Jareth once did with Sarah.
Oh yes, everyone knew about Sarah. The girl who broke Jareth's heart, stole it from what some say. Poor man. Or not. Some people didnt have any pitty for him.
The Labyrinth had changed in the years of the feud. With Kesh around, the area became filled with vegetation and flowers. Especially black and red roses. These could be seen everywhere. Also, he removed the exile that some goblins had on them. Hoggle, for instance, was removed from the bog of eternal stench and somehow with Kesh's magic, freed from the offal oder. This was just a few of the changes Kesh had made since his arrival. How was Jareth taking this? No one really knew. He stayed in his room and study for the longest time, but now he seems to have a plan.

Name: Amelia

Age: 17

Word Description: Amelia stands at about 5'2" on her good days. She has dark hair that comes down just to her shoulders and has brilliant dark eyes that can pierce anyone's soul. Despite her skin being so fair and pale, she never seems to burn if she spends a long time outside. She was depressed for a while when she was younger because she'd thought that she'd never actually be able to pull off wearing dresses simply because she hadn't matured yet, but within the last year or so she has been startled to find just how lovely she has become. Her smile is brilliant, but only a very few ever have the chance of seeing it.

Pic: Image

Personality: ((I prefer having this show through the RP))

***

Name: Jareth a.k.a The Goblin King

Age: Unknown

Word Description: Jareth is very tall. He stands just above 6 feet. He has a wild mess of blond hair that he used to streak with colors. Ever since he lost Sarah, he didn't bother showing his usual glamour. He has mismatched eyes. One startling blue, and one brilliant green. He has very sharp features, and seems harsh to anyone who glances at him, but there is a wild beauty about him that attracts almost any woman. Even though it isn't very visible, he is muscular. He used to dress in extravagent clothes, but now he wears more simple attire.

Pic: Image

Personality: Jareth comes off as cocky and arrogant. He always seems to be out doing what he does to show off to others around him. He had actually been doing it to show off to others, but when Sarah defeated him and said those unwanted words, he was crushed. He retreated so deeply into himself that he barely speaks to anyone unless he has to. He is often cold and harsh to those around him, especially since he discovered that his beloved Sarah had died. For a while the Labyrinth was gloomy and falling into ruin, until the Prince of Thorns decided to meddle in his affairs. Despite Jareth's anger and moodiness, he couldn't stand against Lord Kesh. Now the only reason he won't give up the thrown for the Labyrinth is because it's his only tie to his beloved Sarah.

Amelia sighed to herself as she sat on the grass near a pond in the park. School had been out for a while and her head was full of so many questions and thoughts. She had spaced out in her classes again and had gotten into some trouble for it since she couldn't answer it. She didn't know why, but lately her grades were starting to fall. Something inside of her was stirring, warning her to be careful. But why? What was there out there that she had to be careful of? She hadn't really run into any problems other then her lack of paying attention in class. She wished she could place these feelings to someone or to something. It bothered her greatly and she wished that things would just go back to being normal.

Some days she felt like someone was watching her, and that unnerved her. She wondered why she felt as though something was stirring in the pits of her stomach. The air seemed to be full of electricity, but she couldn't see it. Something, or someone out of this world was coming.

***

Jareth sighed forlornly as he stared out of the window to his study. As usual his mind was on Sarah, his Sarah. The love of his life, and the one who had not only shattered his heart, but had taken the pieces with her. It upset him and it pained him so much to be without her. He was no longer playful, and he no longer wanted company. All he did was read, draw out plans to keep his kingdom, and mope about Sarah. Several of the more bolder, though not exactly bright, Goblins had approached him and asked him why he was always so sad, but they only were yelled at before they accidently "fell" into the Bog of Eternal Stench.

Oh if only he could have her back! The empty place in his chest where his heart should be yearned for her, so much. He felt that he would be empty for the rest of forever, no one to stand by him, just him and him alone. It was a horrible pain for him to carry, and he wished that it would disappear and leave him alone.

He was so blind by his pain and suffering that he hadn't at all paid attention to Kesh. He hadn't even realized that the prince had disappeared to the Aboveground.

Amy pulled up to the park and got out of her car. Slamming the door shut, she sighed and shook her head. It was true, she hated the car, but it was a ride. Her feet shuffled as she moved to the side of the hood. Jumping carefully, she got up there and sat, crossing her legs.
Her black hair blew forward over her face as she sat there, Ipod playing at her side. Her green eyes darted all around as a eery feeling filled her. What was going on? She always felt safe at the park. Something was really off. After a few moments, she pushed the feeling away and continued reading her book.

Kesh smirked while looking upon the two girls in the park. Did they not even realize that no one else was around? No, they were oblivious to the presence of each other and no one else. "Jareth will be furious at me." Kesh thought with a smile. It was nice to the the other, now prince, mad. Its not like he could really do anything. Both girls looked similar to Sarah in one way or another, but would he even take interest in them? Either way, Kesh had plans to take them to the Labyrinth. Which one could he get first?
"Excuse me." Kesh cleared his throat then smiled to the girl by the pond. "My name is Kesh. Could I get your help?" He asked, his expression slightly sad. "There seems to be no one around her to help. Would you please help?" He asked , gesturing for her to fallow him to the parking lot.
His hair was pulled back, and was glamored to look blond. His clothes were changed to were he wore blue jeans and a simple Aeropostal t-shirt. Hansom, harmless guy; or so he looked. He stood a lot taller than the girl, making him have to looked down at her. This added to his harmless effect somehow. His face was still chiseled with sharp features, but his eyes were a soft brown, of coarse part of the glamor.
As they got closer to the parking lot, Kesh pointed to Amy. "She needs help. Will you help her?" He asked, voice smooth and deep, even more than a few moments ago. "Please." He added, black eyes staring down at the girl he towered over.

Amelia growled to herself as she tossed a small pebble into the pond. She watched the ripples and sighed. They were endless. Even though they stopped at the end of the pond, she knew that they'd go on for eternity if they had the room. It was a strange thought, but it kept her entertained by it for a while as she watched the endless ripples. She stared at the small tadpoles, wishing that her life could be that easy. She felt the warmth of the sun cut off from her back as someone towered over her. She got to her feet and brushed herself off. She was surprised to see the man as he seemed sad.

At first her initial reaction was to jump at the opportunity, but a warning went off in her mind. Don't talk to strangers. It was silly, that was for kids. Amelia was certainly no longer a kid and she could handle herself, after all, this beautiful man was trying to enlist her help and she eagerly wanted to give it. She quickly pushed away her instincts to turn and run and nodded her head. She was surprised as he helped her notice another girl, one reading a book. Amelia hadn't seen her before, and wondered who she was. "Why would she need my help?" she asked as she turned to look at the stranger. Her breath caught in her throat as she looked up at him. He was nearly a foot taller than her, but his eyes conveyed an emotion that stirred sympathy within her. "Okay," she breathed out, not realizing she had agreed before it was too late.

***

Jareth slammed his book shut and threw it violently at the wall as he growled. The poor goblin near his feet was instantly airborne after informing the depressive king that Kesh had disappeared to the Aboveground. He hadn't wanted the task, but he was the only goblin brave enough, or foolish enough, to approach the king and tell him. Obviously he regretted the task as he had to run out from the king's feet.

"That loathesome snitch!" he roared as he pounded the wall with his fist. The pain was hardly anything for him as it didn't bother him so much. There wasn't any real pain that he could feel, at least not physical. The emotional and mental pain far outshined it. "How dare he go behind my back, what could he possibly be doing up there!" he was full of rage as he materialized a crystal. He peered into it and saw him talking to a young girl. At first Jareth's breath hitched in his throat as the girl looked like Sarah, but as he continued to look, he say it wasn't her and it caused the pain in his chest to grow bigger. He gasped, what was Kesh up to?

Kesh looked to Amy for a second then smiled. "Excuse me miss, your help." As soon as those words left his mouth, he disappeared from their sight, leaving the cousins to themselves. He stood back, away from the two, just watching. When he felt Jareth was watching as well, he looked at him and smiled. "Dont worry." A voice in the room Jareth was in whispered, laughing a good bit afterwords.

Amy looked up after hearing a mans voice but only saw Amelia. "What?" she asked, her voice a bit sassy. She moved her hair so Amelia could see who it was. "Did you scare the guy away?" She asked, sliding off the car. She looked to Kesh, as he stood off to the side. "Guess not." she sighed then looked back to Amelia for a moment. "Whatever I dont have time for this. I have to get some help." she muttered before grabbing her Ipod and walking past the two. "Bye." she sighed as she passed. Walking a good bit away she saw a pond. She smirked a little before walking over to it, her Ipod blasting a Within Temptation song. At first, Amy didnt know which one it was but soon a whisper told her. Memory
For a second, she felt a pain in her heart, though she didnt understand why. There was no one for her to feel this way about, why would she feel so bad for someone who wasn't even there.
[i]"There was a man. A sweet but powerful man. He was a King and wanted me to be his queen. Because of my little brother, i couldnt stay with him, even if I wanted to. I wanted to be there for him, but in the end I had no choice but to leave him. It was a long time ago."[/] Amy recalled her mother saying. She couldnt remember if it was a story she was reading to her or if she was just losing her mind, but recalling it made Amy's heart hurt.
"All the memories I hold dear. Darling you know I will love you til the end of time." she whispered along with the music before her eyes began to water. She knelt down and looked into the water. "Sorry." she uttered, though it was to no one in particular. After a few more moments of being sad, she began yelling at herself for being so stupid and childish.

Kesh sighed as Amy walked away. "I take it you two know each other. I am sorry. She asked if I could find some help, so I did." he stated, his voice wavering slightly as he spoke to Amelia. His eyes glazed over in worry as he looked down at the ground. He did look truly sorry. He stepped forward and moved in front of her. "I didnt know she would be so rude..... I do apologize." He said again, still looking as if he honestly felt bad.

Amelia was taken aback as Amy looked at her. She narrowed her eyes as she saw that it was her dear cousin. She rolled her eyes for a moment and shook her head. The two girl's had never gotten along. They were polar opposites. Sometimes it was hard, especially since they used to live next to one another, but Amelia thought she was freed from her cousin when they moved away from each other, after her Aunt Sarah had died. She rolled her eyes as Amy got up and walked away to the pond where Amelia had originally been. She sighed and looked at the man with an annoyed look.

"Yeah, we do know each other." She sighed. "She's always rude to me, it's okay, but I'll talk to her any way." She wasn't sure why she was going to talk to Amy, normally she'd just walk away, but she felt compelled to do so on behalf of Kesh.

"Amy, will you just knock it off?" Amelia was irritated as she stared down at her cousin and put her hands on her hips in annoyance. "Can you just not be so self-centered for a moment?" she tapped her foot impatiently. Amelia wasn't sure why she felt sudden anger towards her cousin, but she couldn't really help it as it continued to boil and rise within her.

***

Jareth glared at Kesh's form in the crystal. He was surprised how well the prince blended in with the Aboveground. It seemed easier for him to accomplish than it was for Jareth. Jareth had tried it once, but he was so outlandish for them and so different that he had resorted to being a barn owl. That was when he had met Sarah. Oh his dear and sweet Sarah. She was always full of life, and she loved the theatrics. He thought that she'd be grateful when he stole her brother, that she'd have her adventure, and be able to live her fairy-tales instead of reading about them. Somehow his generousity didn't go over so well and she took it the wrong way.

He growled as a voice whispered through the air. He was irritated and anger boiled within him. He only felt two emotions, anger, and depression. Nothing had brought him joy. He stared at the two girls as he could tell that a fight was about to break loose between them. They looked related, and they looked like Sarah. It was strange, and he could only continue watching because of his curiosity.

Amy turned towards Amelia and smeared. "Leave me alone." These were the only words she spoke. She knelt down beside the pond and looked into it, the song changing on her Ipod. Her mood was natural, yet depressed for some unknown reason. Her eyes dilated as she gazed down into the water. She knew someone other than Amelia was looking at her. She could feel it. Her green eyes watered as she felt like something bad was going to happen. "Go away." she uttered lowly, still looking at the water that started to ripple.

Kesh smirked then stepped behind Amelia. His hand raised to it was just behind her head. "How could she be so rude? Wish her away. Wish the goblins come and take her away to the Labyrinth. That would straighten her up." These words would go into Amelia's thoughts, which was all part of the plan. As soon as she spoke the words, he would take Amy to the castle. Jareth would get a toy.
As Kesh stood there, he grew impatient. "Wish it! Wish it now.....say it out loud..." he sent the message again, more forceful this time.

Amelia felt herself growing impatient and she felt rather childish as she wanted to stomp her foot. "Knock it off Amy!" she growled angrily. She had no idea why she was so angry. Suddenly thoughts entered her head and her anger melted away for a moment out of sheer surprise. She blinked her eyes as her thoughts whispered at her to wish her cousin away to the Labyrinth, where ever that was. I don't want to wish her away, I'm not that mad at her. She countered her thoughts, but suddenly the urge was over powering as her thoughts screamed uncomfortably in her head. Amelia couldn't stop it, and she felt horror building inside of her as her mouth opened. "I wish the goblins would come and take you away right now!" she screamed loudly, covering her ears. Her eyes widened as she watched Amy disappear. Amelia turned around, glaring at Kesh. "WHAT DID YOU DO?" she demanded, her fists balled up angrily.

***

Jareth couldn't believe what Kesh was doing. What in the world was going through his head as he was getting the one girl to say those awful words. Jareth hated it when people were wished away, that meant he had to interact with the human mortals, and he hated doing that ever since Sarah. He watched in anger as the girl screamed the words and the other one disappeared. He smashed the crystal in anger and flew out of his study towards the throne room where the poor girl was. He wasn't quite sure what he was doing, or what he was going to say. He finally saw the girl, and his heart clutched tightly again.

There were no words coming to the Goblin King as he stared at her. He just had no idea what to say to her. She looked terrified, and he felt compelled to comfort her, but he did nothing other then standing and staring.

Amy stared at Amelia for a brief moment before a water goblin appeared from the water, yanking on her arm. She fell into the water but somehow not. She fell through the pond and appeared in a throne room of some kind. Her body crashed hard against the floor, making her side hurt. Quickly she moved so she was on her butt and could look around. Goblins were everywhere, staring with their small black eyes at her. Smitten expressions on their evil faces. Amy wanted to scream but in truth her throat constricted so tight, she couldnt utter a word.

Kesh laughed as Amy was taken away. What had he done? Oh this was indeed an excellent question. "What I wanted." He answered simply, as if she should already know. "I thought thats what you want her to go away." He sighed then laughed slightly. "Oh well. You can always go get her." He stated, waving his hand to the side, making the glamor of the park disappear.
It was once barren and nearly a wasteland outside the gates of the Labyrinth. Now there was lush shrubs and roses all around. Dark red roses where everyone the eye looked, curiosity of Kesh. He had an obsession with roses, and they now appeared all around the Labyrinth.
"There is a direct root to the castle, Amelia. Ask the worm." he whispered, leaning close to he spoke close to her ear while standing behind her. "Who knows how mad the old King will be. Amy might not make it out alive." He added, his hand going to her face, fingers lingering as he touched her cheek softly. "Good luck, my princess." He whispered, vanishing from sight.
Kesh smiled, looking out from a room in the castle. His smile was villainous but happy, proud of himself for all he had done. "I wonder how the old King is doing."

Amelia shook with anger as she stared up into the eyes of Kesh. She was so angry with him. "I did not want her to go away! I don't know how you did it, but that is not what I wanted!" she glared at him. She yelped in surprise as everything around her melted away and she was left standing on top of a small hill, looking around at a huge stone labyrinth that had bushes overgrowing. The roses were beautiful, so much more than how they were in her world. It was confusing, but she glared at Kesh. She shivered and held perfectly still as he spoke in her ear. Pain moved through Amelia as he said that Amy might not live. She froze in place as he touched her cheek. It was an odd sensation, as though his fingers left a trail of fire behind.

She grumbled and growled as she finally had control over herself again. "What a loathesome arrogant pig!" she said angrily as she stomped towards the entrace of the maze.

***

Jareth waved his hands. The goblins scurried away in fear. He approached the poor girl and extended his hand to her. He helped her up. "I hope you are well? I apologize if you have been startled. I assure that it is not by my intentions you are here." He felt compassion for her, something he hadn't felt in a very long time. It was strange to be feeling empathetic emotions, but that didn't stop him from being chilverous. "You are going to be a guest here, unfortunately your cousin has wished you away and now must run in order to free you. No harm will come to you." His tone was smooth and even as he spoke.

((Oh I am making it were Sarah is Amy's mother. If you don't like it, I will edit and I'm sorry. But if its cool, sweet and thanks ^_^ Also, I will be playing a goblin girl that will serve sorta as a friend and guide for Amelia.))

Amy stared at Jareth for a second, got help up, and still stared at him. He was unlike anyone else she had ever seen...other than Kesh. A picture of the guy popped in her head and she stepped back from Jareth as he spoke. "You look like the other guy....Kesh." she uttered looking around. "Where am I?" she asked but somehow she already knew. As he spoke of her being his guest her head jerked to him. And no harm? Why would there be any harm? What was going on?
She took a deep breath, held it, then exhaled it. There was no need in panicking, but then again it was hard not to. "Why would I be in danger?" she asked, her green eyes icy as she looked at him. Her stare. It was the same as her mothers...Sarah's. "Who are you? And who is the other guy?" she demanded, walking closer to him. Her eyes were still narrowed in nearly a glare. She was fearless of the man, though her heart beat was so fast it was about to fly out of her chest.

Kesh stood looking down on Amelia as she got to the gates. She wouldn't see him, his glamor was on so she couldn't. He smiled at the goblin at his side. There stood a short pink haired fairy looking creature. "Help our little friend." Kesh sighed, still smiling down upon the girl. "I have stuff to do." he muttered to himself before disappearing.

The goblin girl jumped down in front of Amelia. Her large pink eyes focused on the girl as she looked at her. "I'm Pixie." she uttered, voice mono-tone. She didn't know how to act to this human girl, which on a side note, she didn't personally care for. It was nothing against the girl in general, but instead humans.
"I am to guide you to the Castle." She added, her voice sounding now troubled. "Shall we go." she said, turning her back. Pixie was indeed an odd girl. If one looked, they could see scars all along the girls back, which was exposed completely. She had a shirt on but it was a dress. The top had straps around her neck but from there it only covered her from and then from her hips down to mid thigh.

Kesh appeared in the throne room, sitting on the throne chair. "Here is your present, Jareth." Kesh purred, black eyes staring at the man. "She can be your pet." he added, musing the thought in his head. Kesh really enjoyed everything that was unfolding. "Do you like her? She looks just like her. Don't you think?" This was sure to get some sort of reaction from Jareth.

((No, no, it's fine. I actually like the twist and am happy with it!))

Amelia gritted her teeth as a small creature stood next to her. She didn't want to be rude, she really didn't, but her emotions were completely on edge and she was just ready to throw her fists against the wall. She was upset with everything that was going on. She knew nothing of where she was, just that she knew they were somewhere that probably wasn't even Earth. She wondered what this Kesh wanted, and she wanted to give him a piece of her mind. She looked down at the girl, Pixie, and shook her head. "I do not want to offend you, but I do not need any help from anyone. I'll get there alone." She spoke stubbornly as she folded her arms across her chest. She bit her lip though as she looked down the two different paths and sighed before she looked at Pixie. "Uh, help would me nice," she blushed in embarrassment and followed the girl.

***

"I may look like Prince Kesh, but I assure you I do not intend you harm." Jareth was trying to emphasize this. When Sarah was here, she had the wrong impression, but for some odd reason he didn't want this girl to get the wrong one. He sighed. She looked so much like Sarah, it was really starting to freak him out a little. It caused his heart terrible pain, but he couldn't help but feel a little comfort in gazing upon the girl who held similar qualities to his lost love.

"You wouldn't be in harm, but I'm afraid that you'd get that impression. Some people have feared for themselves, but they do not need to. I am Jareth, the Goblin King. Unfortunately you had to meet Prince Kesh, more or less a friendly enemy." He sighed aggravated as Kesh appeared, sitting in his throne. It angered Jareth, like everything else the man did, but he controlled it better this time around.

Jareth didn't want this girl to witness his outburst of anger, but it wasn't directed towards her in any way, so she was safe for now. "What is your problem Kesh? You trick these girl's into coming here, why?" he demanded. As Kesh said his last words, Jareth's eyes changed solid black as he was beyond angry. He moved quickly to where Kesh was and lifted him from the throne before pushing him and pinning him hard against the wall. "Do not speak of such things," his tone was calm, but his breathing was slightly erratic as he glared at Kesh.

Pixie looked around as Amelia stoke to her. Was he gone? Really gone? She sighed with relief before smiling lightly at the girl when she asked for help. Pixie slunched a little as she walked, though it felt a lot better than standing up perfectly straight. "Left." the girl uttered, pointing her long finger left. If Amelia looked, she would see an extra join on her finger. Fairies have an extra joint in each finger and oddly enough, toes.
"We have to stop somewhere along the way though...." she thought out loud, thinking of the worm she had to see. The worm would also be helping them out. A spy if you will. Being a small blue worm, you could get information and gossip from the goblins. Pixie was not working for Kesh, but also Jareth. She was a spy so to speak, or an undercover agent.....fairy style?

Kesh laughed as he was pushed against the wall. It amused him to see Jareth flustered. "Alright, Jareth. I wont. But she is related to the woman." Kesh whispered before disappearing to get rooms ready. He appeared in a hall of goblins, standing next to doors. He walked to the first goblin. "Is it clean?" he asked, his voice holding doubt. Goblins hated cleanliness.
"Um...Yes, Milord." uttered the nervous goblin. Kesh opened the door but quietly closed it. "This isnt fit for a princess." He scowled before kicking the small goblin. His feet moved him on to the next door going to see if that goblin could do the job....probably not..

Amy had moved so she was against the other wall. She didnt understand what was going on, but she knew one thing. Jareth wasn't the bad guy. When Kesh had gone, Amy walked over to Jareth and placed her small soft hand on his shoulder. "Jareth, sir...um...King...." she paused, trying to figure out what she was to call him. "Amelia wont be harmed either right?" She asked, hoping she would be alright too.
It was true, Amy and Amelia weren't the best of friends but she didnt want any harm coming to her. Amy had been rude the last few times they had seen each other, this also helped the feeling of dread that filled her.

Amelia nodded her head. She was glad the fairy was still willing to help. She was just so concerned about Amy and she felt terrible for what she had done. She took the left and walked carefully. She had a feeling that the place was filled with traps of all sorts and it made her a bit nervous. "Where are we stopping?" she asked curiously. She had no idea what was going on, and wished that she had. Things seemed different here, as though things weren't just as they seemed.

***

Jareth growled angrily and pounded his fists against the stone wall in anger as Kesh had disappeared. He shook his head. Why was Kesh determined to cause him so much pain? Wasn't it enough to know that he was slowly making his way up to the throne despite Jareth's attempts at stopping him? Did he feel some sick sort of satisfaction out of causing Jareth pain? Suddenly a small and gentle hand was on his shoulder, and for the first time, all the anger that was welled up inside of him, melted away. He turned around as Amy spoke. "It's fine for you to call me Jareth," his tone was surprisingly soft compared to the recent venom. "I can't promise you that, but I can assure you that I'll have every attempt made to prevent her from coming to harm. Now tell me, are you afraid?" his tone was soft, caring almost.

Pixie turned to the human girl and smiled, her vast amount of razor sharp teeth exposed and shining. "To see my information carrier." she replied the continued walking. As they got closer, Pixie smiled and took out a small pouch. It was the size of her finger and hard to hold but she did so. Going up to the wall she knelt down and placed the bag on a brick. "Offering. Now, give me my information." she demanded. A small blue worm crawled out of a hole and looked at the two. "Well, news is there is another human girl in the throne room. She looks just like the one that was here before. You know the one." the worm stated, with a heavy British accent. Pixie sighed. "I know that!" Pixie growled, glaring at the blue creature."Well, Jareth supposedly attacked Prince Kesh for bringing them here." The worm added, grabbing the bag with its mouth and pulling it with him as he went back into the hole. "Thanks" Pixie looked to Amelia with a look of amusement and horror.

Amy looked down. Why should she be afraid? "No. I'm not, Jareth." she replied with a soft voice. "She is strong. I know she will be alright." she added, more telling herself than him. "So, if you are The Goblin King and he is prince....You two look the same age. I don't get it..." she stated, wondering how it all worked out.

Amelia wasn't quite sure what Pixie meant by her information carrier. It was a strange term, and she was even taken aback by the little blue worm that appeared from within the rocks. She couldn't help but think it was the cutest little thing she ever did see. She watched Pixie talk to him. She was so bewhildered and shocked that the little creature could talk. This was certainly a strange place and she knew it was only going to be stranger. All these people that he was talking about confused Amelia slightly. She recognized Kesh's name, and her cousin Amy, but the name Jareth was too vague for her that she didn't know who he was. "What's going on?" she asked worriedly.

***

Jareth couldn't help but smile. It was strange. The corners of his mouth weren't used to smiling and it looked like a grimace for a moment. "Good. I do not want harm for you both, but I can not prevent the dangers in the Labyrinth." He wished he could. "I'm a Fae, we both are much older than you. We may look the same age, and look related, but I assure you that is as far as it goes. He is trying to steal my throne, and I'm trying to defend it. I believe this is some sort of sick game to him in bringing you and the other girl here. I do apologize. The only way you can go is if the girl succeeds in getting here on time." He sighed before he looked at her. "You must be tired, I can have a goblin show you to your room if you'd like."

Pixie looked to Amelia for a moment before sighing, not really feeling like telling the girl. "You and the other girl were brought here to become Queens. Either you or her will become a queen. That is the master plan. The only problem is there are two of you. Jareth has to pick one, but Kesh can always counter and pick the other. If Kesh gets the thrown, the Labyrinth will be ruined and everything will come crashing down. Everything will be ruined." Pixie sighed then shook her head. "I have to hurry and get to the Castle, and so do you. Who knows what Kesh is planning."

Amy shook her head and began looking around. "I don't want to be alone." she uttered, hoping she wouldn't be imposing on anything. She started to apologize but stopped, seeing no need for it. She took in all the information he had given her, then came up with more questions. "If she doesnt succeed, what happens to her? Does she just get sent back? And how can you stop Kesh from getting your throne?" she asked, looking around for a moment. "And who was she?" she asked, her eyes moving to him. Somehow she felt she didnt want to know but then again, she had to know.

Kesh sighed while standing in the kitchen. Goblins were hopelessly dumb, at least to him. First he couldn't get them to clean and fix a room fit for a human and now, he couldn't get them to fix something for the girls to eat. "Disgusting stupid creatures." Kesh growled before shifting into a human form.
A good twenty minutes later, he appeared in the kitchen and started yelling. "Just heat this stuff up!" He slammed the McDonalds bag on the counter then stomped off, going to see if a room was done yet.

Amelia stumbled in her step and stared at the fairy like girl. She shook her head. "You can't be serious." She was completely flabbergasted. "Queens? Amy and I? You must have things wrong. What in the world did we ever do to get stuck down here?" she groaned. She liked her life back home, she didn't want to be stuck here as a queen, there didn't seem to be much here anyway. She also didn't want to automatically forfeit Amy by refusing to be the queen. She shook her head. This was so messed up. As Pixie mentioned Kesh, anger boiled through Amelia. "Yes, we have to get there soon, oh is he going to get a piece of my mind," she growled.

***

Jareth was surprised by Amy's words, but he understood where she was coming from. He nodded his head, if she wanted company, then he'd stay with her. "Normally we'd just send her back and keep you here since she failed, but I have a feeling Kesh is manipulating everything and somehow will keep her here as well." He sighed, a tired look on his face as her questions swam in his head. "The only way I can truly keep him away, is by taking myself a queen and proving to the Labyrinth that I am her true king." He said. As her next question came into existance, he didn't want to respond, but he owed it to her.

"Her name was Sarah, and from what I can tell, I believe she was closely related to you, a sister or mother perhaps." He sat down on his throne miserably and covered his face with one hand. "The first time I saw her was when I was up in the Aboveground. She was in the park, and she was the most beautiful creature I had laid eyes on. I had to have her. I gave her certain powers, and when she wished her brother away, I thought I was doing her a favor. I let her run, and even when she ran out of time, I froze it just for her so she could still win. I did everything she wanted, and I could give her everything, but she turned me down and shattered my heart before she stole the pieces." His tone was dead and flat. "I've missed her so much, especially when I heard she had died." His voice cracked.

Pixie laughed slightly at Amelia then nodded. "Yes, I would love to see that. The only person who stands up to him is Jareth." Pixie turned down a passage then came to the entrance of the Goblin City. "Ah, here we are." she uttered smiling to Amelia, her razor sharp teeth exposed again. "We are almost there. Now all we have to do is get to the palace." she stated then looked around. There wasnt that much around other than useless junk. Then the thought came to her. "Stand here one moment." With that, Pixie turned away and started running as fast as she could.

Kesh watched as Pixie lead Amelia towards the castle. As Pixie ran off he jumped from his perch in front of her. "Ello, Amelia, my dear." Kesh greeted, his voice nearly a purr. "I see you are getting to the castle without any problems." He observed then laughed. "Get the creature to buy you a nice dress for your arrival at the castle. The owner of the store can deliver it. There will be a masquerade ball and I would like you to attend." He leaned his lips close to hers before placing them onto her cheek. His hand lightly grazed her other cheek and he lingered her fingers up and behind her ear. Suddenly he vanished. A rose was left behind her ear, no thorns on it whats-so-ever.

Pixie ran back to Amelia, holding a old yet elegant fay mask. It was decorated with a mixture of purple and pink decorations upon a white base. "Where did the rose come from?" she asked, her head tilting to the side a little bit. Shaking her head, she stepped behind the girl. Setting the mask on her face, she traced the red ribbon back and then tied it tight enough so it wouldn't fall off. Next she through a black cloak around her and pulled to hood up on it. "Now, we can go. We cant have them see you."

Amy looked at the ground. Sarah? Her mothers name was Sarah. "She was my mother...." She paused, and her eyes started to water. "I miss her too." she uttered while her throat constricted. It was hard not having her mother around. After all, they got along like best friends. "I'm sorry to hear of how she left. I don't understand why she would....But she talked about you...about this place...." she paused, unable to talk about her any more. "You should go to bed." She stated, wiping under her eyes a little. "You look tired." She moved against a wall then slid down it, keeping her knees up until they came against her chest. "I don't mind if you leave, if you want. I will stay here though....." she added, hoping he didnt feel obligated to stay for her.

Amelia merely shook her head. "Well I've got news for him, I'm in town now and I won't be manipulated like he had done. How rude!" she exclaimed still angry. She was glad to hear they'd be at the castle soon, it was time her and Amy went home. She nodded her head and waited patiently for Pixie's return, but was startled when Kesh appeared. Anger bubbled through her, but before it could break loose at his words, his lips were on her cheek and he traced her opposite cheek with his fingers for a moment before he held them close to her ear for a moment. The anger had melted away and something else had happened. She just couldn't find it in herself to derive anger. She was surprised when he suddenly disappeared, but there was a weight by her ear. She blushed lightly, but had a soft smile as she stared at the thornless rose. It was exquisite, and she was flattered.

"No where in particular, it was just there." She said, slightly dreamy. She snapped out of it quickly as the fairy tied the mask. She was confused now. "Why can't anyone see me?"

***

Jareth was immensely sad as Amy said that Sarah had been her mother. It confirmed his fear that another man had stolen her heart away and she would've never been his. It was a horrible feeling, and it only made him want to wallow for the rest of forever. "She talked about me?" Jareth was confused. Why would Sarah mention such a place to her child? Why would she mention the man who stole her baby brother from her?

All Jareth could do was shake his head. "I haven't slept in so long, it doesn't bother me. I can't tell you how tired I truly am." He managed a sad smile. "You seem like you need the company more than I need sleep." Jareth moved to the wall and slid down next to her. He wiped a stray tear or two. "Are you all right?" he asked gently.
