SAI is a lovely program. I don't even understand how some people use solely photoshop for their digital art... SAI has the blending aspect that feels like actual painting. (and then there's the actual program Painter which, although stunning in the brushes aspect, drives me crazy in every other possible way)

Gorgeous work, lauth! You are very skilled. Usually when I respond to threads on here I try to find a couple of things that I like about the artwork and a couple of things that could use improvement. Quite honestly, though, all I can give you is the good end of the spectrum. The composition, the drawing talent, the use of color is all beautiful.

So I'll settle for a question here instead: How long does it take you to complete one of these pieces?

Typically not very long! The way I colour is actually fairly simple, usually only one brush on whichever program, and all on one layer. It's difficult to give a proper estimate because I don't really time myself, but I think usually around 2 hours of total work, maybe 3 or 4 depending on the complexity of the picture.
