Odyn's question seemed to be answered as the demons appeared around them, the guns taking out a few of them, though there was two on the deck. Loki seemed to have one covered, but the other couldn't be dealt with as the others were busy. He patted his person down, remembering that he didn't have any weapons on him. He'd have to point that one out later, for now he'd have to use his fists.
He ran forward at the second demon on deck, weaving left and right to confuse the demon before he leapt forward, slipping through the demon's arms and able to thrust his fist into it's torso, adding as much strength to the hit as possible. He grimaced as the creature screeched in agony, attempting to lash at him, though he seemed to be too fast for the demon, able to block or dodge the hits before getting the chance to attack back. A high kick to the upper torso, making the demon stumble back, a quick hit to the leg to bring the demon down to Odyn's height before he would be able to successfully shatter the demon's skull with another hard kick.
He stepped back as he heard the demon scream in agony after each of his hits, but he didn't move away, sticking around while still on his guard, fist's tightened in preparation incase the beast got up again. He glanced around, wondering if others were around for him to help with.

((Whoa, totally thought this rp was dead. Happy to see I was wrong.))

Suddenly, there was a loud, carefree laugh from above and Ion dropped down to the deck, sliding down from the rigging. There was a flowered straw hat on her head which she tipped playfully in Odyn's direction. She inhaled deeply and watched as two more skeletal beasts clambered toward them. Ion's grin got, if possible, wider with the slightest hint of cruelty in her eyes.

"Here," she laughed, "we have something I'm actually encouraged to fight. I suggest closing your eyes, kay Odyn?" Ion did not check to see that the younger one listened to him and instantly began splitting herself until there were about five of her, gazing eagarly from her to the demons. "You know what to do?" she asked them. They laughed back.

"Of course we do!"

Ion laughed with them. "Go on then!"

Without another word, the four dopplegangers charged forward, laughing and giggling as they went. Ion grinned and slid her hands over to her eyes, just as all four of her copies exploded in a burst of intense light. The burst lasted only a second, but it was enough to disorient the demons. Without warning, Ion charged forward herself, taking down both creatures with a hard roundhouse kick. She dusted her hands off once she was done, regarding Odyn casually.

"Finally awake, hmm?

Odyn was a little confused as he was told to close his eyes, purposefully keeping them open to see why he needed to close them, amused as he watched the four other Ion's attack the demons before the real Ion finished it off herself. He chuckled, giving her a small nod as she noticed that he was awake,
"Did I really sleep that late?" He asked, casually stepping aside as a demon had tried to creep up behind him - but the clatter of claws could still be heard against the deck.
He looked over his shoulder at the demon, before turning to face it. It swiped at him but he merely caught the claw that was thrown at him, turning himself into the Demon's body and elbowing it feircly, breaking a few rips before using a similar move he had used on Loki to trip the demon up, stopping the demon's movement as he broke it's neck.

He took a step back as he let the demon alone, yawning quietly. If fights were always like this, Odyn didn't think he'd have much trouble surviving on this ship. He looked over at Ion, wondering if she was still alright without his help. Maybe this attack would prove to the other pirates how useful he could be while on the ship.

"You missed breakfast," Ion replied by way of an explanation. "It was good, too." As she spoke, she mimicked Odyn's move on another demon and put her booted foot through it's skull while it was down. "You know, I'm starting to remember how much I liked going to the Falls. This is the fun part, but it'll get even prettier later." She watched with bright eyes as Odyn took down yet another demon. "Did you do a lot of fighting where you used to be? You seem very skilled..."

((Sorry, boys and girls. I was distracted with Arcanists all day. That along with the Superbowl.))

Kenshin stood blank as everyone pulled out their arms and open fired on the demons. Somehow he missed the whole fight. He walked up to the demon Ion took down. It was most definitely defeated. He felt a disturbance in the electric presence he made. His right hand charged up a ball of lightning. Without warning, Kenshin turned and threw the orb at a skeletal that climbed up on the port bow of the ship. The demon jolted for a moment, then fell down into the cloud sea. Another one made its way up to the deck, so Kenshin dashed to it. He made his left hand a fist and charged it up. When it connected with the skeletal's chest, a visible wave of lightning moved over every bone. It lost all feeling and collapsed where it stood. Kenshin shook his left hand in pain. "I wish I had some weapons," he muttered to himself. Kenshin slouched a bit, but stayed alert.

Odyn watched as Ion copied a move that he had used earlier, frowning slightly as he had missed breakfast. He had not eaten while on the ship, and would've rather liked something to eat.
"Can I get something to eat anytime soon?" He asked, wondering if there was anything left for him to at least nibble on. He then listened to her talking about how this was the fun part of going to the Falls. He smiled weakly, glad to hear that there was going to be more to come. He glanced at Kenshin as he joined the fight, he had not weapons either, but seemed to be coping just fine with his weird power. "I was created to fight," Odyn said in reply to Ion's question about his skill. "I'm a weapon for the government, created from the DNA of animals to make me 'The Perfect Soldier' - or that's what they wanted anyway. I've been fighting for as long as I can remember." He continued to explain.

Loki dropped his third demon of of the side of the ship and looked around, everything went errily quiet except for the thrum of the engine, everyone stood still, glancing around. They snapped to attnetion when Loki took control "Get that engine evened out!" he yelled, "We aren't clear yet and if we keep on going up we will suffocate!" this of course was un true, they had about another hour of climbing before the air became too thin, but it was good to over exagerate to keep his crew on their toes.

They scattered and soon the ring of fire had returned to its usual state as they powered forwards. He heard a thunk as something his the bottom of the ship. A few somethings, there was a horrible rip as something started clawing at the bottom. Eerie silence returned and then there was a loud crack. Loki grinned again "I want our best fighters attached to harnesses and thrown over, Odyn not you, Ion with me!" he grabbed a length of rop and secured it around his waist and then over his chest of furthur support. "We need to get them off of our base! Or they'll come in from beneath us, hop to it you maggots"

Odyn looked over at Loki as he barked more orders, confused as he called for the best fighters, but he was not allowed to go with them. He ran over to the captain as he secured himself with rope,
"Why can't I go Captain? Fighting is what I was made for, remember?!" He said, not wanting to be left behind because he was seen as a child, rather than the weapon that the others back at the lab saw him as. He glanced around at the others as they sorted themselves and the ship out, still unsure of why he was to stay behind.

Kenshin saw Captain Loki attach some rope to his waist and chest. Kenshin wanted to prove himself, so he ran near the captain. He grabbed another harness and wrapped it on his body just like Loki did. If the captain didn't approve, he'd tell him before he jumped. He kindly waited at Loki's side, looking at him for a signal or a hint. When Odyn asked the Captain about fighting down below, Kenshin kind of felt sorry, but saw both sides of the argument. Perhaps Loki thinks of Odyn as more than just a child. Maybe he's more like a son, or maybe he's more like a bartering chip. It was really hard for Kenshin to read the Captain, so he wasn't sure of anything but the former fact.

Loki stepped up to the side "Odyn, i need you to protect the deck whilst im below, do you understand?" he left the question open, hoping the boy would understand. He rolled his eyes and added "The skeletals arent dumb." he saw Kenshin attach himself to a harness and over looked the man, "This is it Kenshin, you die now and i wont bat an eyelid, you get through this and maybe I'll show you some respect... some." Loki winked and unsheathed his swords as he stepped up onto the thick wooden rail that ran around the deck, he jumped off, feeling the wind rip through his hair as he fell.

Odyn glanced at Kenshin as he was allowed to strap up and go below the ship, frowning slightly as he was told to look after the deck while the others fought below. He didn't particularly want to be left on the deck to fight, but if the Captain said it was best, then he wouldn't argue. He glanced at Kenshin as he was warned he could be facing his death here,
"You'll be find, with that weird power of yours..." Odyn said quietly, watching as Loki leapt off of the side. "Better get back then..." He said quietly, leaving Kenshin to dive off of the ship when he was ready. He gazed through the mist, looking out for any more of the demons that he was supposed to be looking out for.

((Curse the arrow keys! They made me go back and have to restart!))
Kenshin was scared at Loki's warning. However, he was determined to prove himself after a lackluster performance so far. He adjusted his harness as he heard Odyn encouraging him. Kenshin turned, but Odyn walked away before he could thank him. He grabbed the rails of the deck, took a breath, and dove off. His bun became undone in the rush of air, turning into more of a ponytail. When his rope became taut, he immediately fired a shot of electricity at a lonely skeletal. The creature lost feeling and let go, frying in the ring of fire that encompassed the ship. Kenshin then started building momentum by swinging back and forth. He put a charge in his feet and forward mule kicked another demon in the face. He would continue fighting as long as it took to earn some respect.

Loki gripped onto the bottom of his ship, using the holes the skeletals had dug. He watched Kenshin for a moment before adusting his positin, seeing a large demon still ripping at his ship, "Stop ripping holes in my ship!" he shouted, lunging at the skeletal he took its head off, then whirled out of the way of its falling body and lashing limbs. He let go of the ship and hung by its side for a few seconds before creating a swing and aiming a kick at another demon. A few more crew members were doig the same and he grinned a litte as he twisted, running along the side of the ship, holding the rope for support, he lunged at a flying Skeletal, straddling its back, it bucked and twisted, its claw reaching up and slicing through Loki's harness. Shit. Loki stood on its back and dodged a flailing limb which he promptly cut off, the demon screamed in pain and barrel rolled.

Loki stabbed the thing in the back, sheathed one cutlass and leapt from the back o the screaming demon, he slammed into the side of the ship, trying to find hand and foot holds as he slid down. He smiled, seeing a few demons below he dropped, holding out his swords he cut both demons heads off. Laying on his back looking up he was just about to fall through the cover of mist when he closed his eyes and transported himself back onto the ship. He swayed, sheathed his sword and began to shout "Get those maggots back on board!" the last of the demons were falling behind "I want full speed ahead and i dont need my crew members dangling behind my ship like decorations!"

Odyn had only been left alone for a few moments, though it didn't take long for the demons to realise that there was a small person alone on the deck while the other were rushing round below. An overly large demon stomped on deck, ignoring the fact that Loki had returned, a screech escaping it, making Odyn cover his ears during it's scream. He glanced at Loki, seeing that his priority at the moment was to get the others back onboard, and get the ship moving again. He guessed that this fight was his then, but fists alone wouldn't be sufficient.
"Captain, I'll bring them back..." Odyn said as he ran past, snatching Loki's swords from their sheaths. Surely Loki would understand enough to let him use them. He continued forward, adjusting his grip on the blades till it was just right for his technique. This was going to be an interesting battle - a boy against an overly large demon. Odyn was surprisingly confident though, not allowing the beast's size to get him down.

The demon screeched again at the sight of the charging boy, almost mocking the child at his attempts, before swiping at the boy who dared to try and slay him. The Demon seemed dumbfounded as Odyn merely jumped away to avoid the attack, using the swords he had stolen from Loki to hack at the arm, leaping up to tear it away from it's body to render the arm useless. Odyn stumbled as the demon screeched in agony, though held his ground. He couldn't let a scream stop him from killing the beast that was threatening the ship.

"Aye, aye, Cap'in!" Kenshin shouted as he observed Loki kicking and taking and teleporting back on deck. Kenshin just wondered how he would get up in time to hold on to something. He noticed Loki using claw holes to navigate, which Kenshin thought was clever. On the return from a swing, Kenshin hooked his fingers into a clawhole and began the strange rock climb. After a muscle-pumping minute of climbing, he grasped the rails of the deck. He grunted as he pulled himself over the top, looking as Odyn beat the crap out of a large demon. Kenshin thought Odyn had it handled, but felt sorry that Odyn wasn't being helped. Kenshin was tired of fighting. He needed energy to produce lightning, and he had little energy, so he could produce little electricity. He simply wrapped his arms in the nets, began deep breathing, and waited for Loki's demand to be met.

Ion heard the shout from above to come back on deck and even saw the rest of her crewmates retreating. But then again, no one ever expected her to be the first one out of the fight. She lingered for as long as she dared, showing demons the ship where the sky was and enjoying herself as they groped frantically for what they thought was safety and then fell into the mist. She quickly abandoned this (it could only be funny for so long, after all) and scrambled lithely after the last of them. In only a few seconds she flipped over the edge of the ship. She grinned exuberantly at where Kenshin, Odyn, and the boss were gathered.

"That was fun. Are there any more?"

Loki shouted after Odyn as the boy stole his swords "And if one attacks me what do you want me to do? Bite it to death! How dare you leave me unarmed! I hope that thing kills you!" he span, making sure everyone else was on deck he watched the boy slay the demon from the corner of his eye, he was good. Loki was pleased although he didnt let it show "Right you scandral return my swords and go below deck to get a mop and bucket!" he shouted at Odyn, "I want this deck spotless!" he wouldnt be soft on the boy just because he had put up a good fight.
Loki whirled "As for the rest of you, full steam ahead!" the ship gave a mighty jolt as the engine engadged.

Odyn's brow rose slightly as he heard the shouts of the captain, finishing off the over large demon and shoving it off deck before turning to face the captain. He wandered over to him, gingerly handing his swords back over,
"You were fine, sir. That one wouldn't have gone down without a couple of weapons, and my fists alone wouldn't have been enough." He explained, guessing that he could only explain why he had stolen them in the first place. "Plus, you had your glock too. You weren't unarmed." He added, pointing to the glock's holster before turning away to get the mop and bucket that he had told to get for cleaning the deck. So he would be made to do work if he didn't act in a way that Loki liked, that was fair enough in Odyn's eyes, though it could've also been a lesson for Loki, not to leave him unarmed, or he would take whatever other weapons are available.

Kenshin felt like he didn't have time to scale the nets, so he wrapped his arms around the nearest nets and held on for dear life. Hopefully, the Billion Falls would come soon. Either that or a good rest stop. Perhaps he could buy some weaponry at a mountaintop village. Like a nice sword that can send his electric currents, or a pistol--no, two-- that he can hide in his vest in case he's ambushed by someone, or even a... throwing star! The Japanese history show he watched had the most elegent shuriken, with four spokes like a classic one of the age they demonstrated. Maybe somewhat unorthodox, but he was a dreamer at heart. Why else would he choose an air pirate ship as his new home? He was destined for greatness at birth, like Odyn probably was. Being the son of two scientists working on Project: Odyn, he had to have some knowledge. That's the reason why he's hooked on the nets instead of climbing up and ducking in the nest like a dumb coward. Let's just see how long this will go on, he thought while tears were forced from his tightly-shut eyes.

Odyn felt like an idiot for a while as he wandered round below deck trying to find this mop and bucket that Loki wanted him to find. What on earth was a mop and bucket?! How was he supposed to find such items if he had no idea what they were? In the end, he found himself asking someone else where these were. He was directed to a small cupboard, where just a little pot like container was, with a thing that looked like a draining tool was at one end, with a pole attatched to a mess of material peices inside it.
"There's your tools, kid." The pirate said, pointing towards the mop and bucket, patting the boy on the shoulder with a chuckle before walking off, leaving Odyn to fill up the bucket with soapy water and reappear on deck with his cleaning equipment. What exactly he was supposed to do with them though, was a mystery to him.
