Should I post a profile for the Squire/Minstrel?

If you want to Sato. It's up to you. If you intend them to be around a lot then it's up to you. If they are just going to be an NPC then you don't need to really.

Hope its not too late to join, this roleplay looks like a lot of fun ^-^!

Name: Lisa Forge

Age: 20

Gender: female

Character to be Played: Citizen of Aiya/Thief

Appearance: Lisa is short at 5’4 with a petite, but curvy figure
(though you’d never know it from the slightly baggy raggedy clothes she wears). She has about medium length dirty blond hair that always has a slight curl to it. Her skin is a faint tan color from constant exposure to the sun, and has striking green hazel eyes. She finds it more convenient to wear male clothing, as it is easier to make quick escapes in, and is always wearing brown trousers, a ragged long sleeve white shirt and a patched up brown vest. She also carries a dagger in a holster on her hip. Lisa has a fairly lovely visage, and would be considered beautiful if not for the grim and dirt.

Personality: Calculating, sarcastic, and a bit jaded, Lisa has learned the hard way how to survive the streets of Aiya’s capital city. Forced to grow up before her time, Lisa often acts older than she really is. When dealing with the younger children of her group, she takes on a mothering role and is quite tender hearted, but she’s not afraid to do what it takes to survive on the tough, and often murderous streets. Intelligent, though highly uneducated, Lisa is as much a good leader as circumstances allow.

Background: Orphaned at the young age of four, Lisa has few memories of her parents, though she was told her father was a blacksmith. Starvation, poverty, and mistreatment became a daily sight for young Lisa’s eyes. Survival for an orphan anywhere in Aiya is extremely difficult, though slightly easier in the city. This is not due to any more generosity, but the fact that the population is more condensed, making it easier to steal. Lisa has always despised having to steal, but long since realized it was the only way to survive. Eventually, when she was seven, she was adopted into a sort of orphan gang, stealing as a group and sharing the spoils. Most of the children there are somewhere between twelve and twenty, though they have children in the group as young a five. Lisa mostly pickpockets from nobles or rich looking knights, and has become exceedingly good at it as she’s one of the major bread winners for the group. Like most citizens of Aiya, she hopes for a brighter future, but despairs over the possibility under such tyranny.

Name: Caluet 'Loot' Skittersson

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Position: Self-declared Squire of Sir Miles Elrik Roark, Self-declared Bard of the Southern Moor Province

Appearance: Having just come into a sudden and belated growth spurt, Loot is all arms and legs, knees and elbows. He has a round boyish face usually shining with glee or some other bright and cheerful emotion. Despite a rather squashed nose that seems to be genetic, Caluet (Or 'Loot' as he just prefers to be called) is a fairly good-looking fellow. His clothes are a mite too small for him. Medium build. Usually has not a sword strapped across his back, but a lyre or some other instrument.

Personality: Loot is energetic, and always seems to be running his mouth about something or other. His courage is boundless--but where this blends with foolhardy vigor is the question of the hour. Hums absently at times, disconnected melodies that just can't seem to make it out his mouth in a pleasant singing voice. Not easily deterred from conversation or from speaking altogether.

Background: The only son of Skitter the Blacksmith, Caluet couldn't even pretend growing up that he was interested in learning his single father's trade. It was apparent that Loot had a tendency for his mother's trade--a singer and a performer. Unfortunately, it was also made glaringly clear that he did not have her immediate talent. He was always small and scrawny for his age and therefore was promptly skipped over and not even considered for some sort of Squireship or apprenticeship in the realm of Knighthood. Despite wandering off to document the flight patterns of sparrows and to write a new song, Loot feels he should at least try to fit the social norm. When Sir Miles Elrik Roark saved the Southern Moor from the Firebreathers, the noble Knight was given a safe berth in the keep of the local manor. Jackpot! Loot made a new friend. MIles didn't talk much, ever, and there were terrible stories going on about his fury and what was really behind that scarf, but as usual Caluet didn't listen to them. He made (what he imagined) to be a fast friend, and can't wait to head out with the Knights on their adventure!

Other: Loot can't go five minutes without singing or humming something, and has no idea what the nature of this journey is. A few interesting bits about him--despite a lack of physical strength, he has razor sharp ears and eyesight. His acute sense of hearing helps him pick up drunken songs from the local taverns with just one listen, and his quick cursory abilities help him stay on his toes ahead of the game. Not a complete lunkhead.

Sato: Love the second character. And Kohananinja, it's not to late. I like the character and glad you found some way to incorporate another character into it. Welcome aboard and feel free to post in the IC.

Yay, now we have another character from Aiya! @ Sato: I'm so glad you decided to Loot out. He sounds like a very interesting and amusing character (not to mention your IC post about him just cracked me up).

I'm actually surprised that no one's applied to be a spy from Ilena yet, it's a pretty important role considering that it wasn't even mentioned on the default list.

I think Loot will be interesting. He has the ability to mimick voices well, hear things, etc. He might make a good spy when the Knights get to Ayia. Also--there might be other reasons Roark is keeping him around. idk yet. This is all very exciting.

The spy is an interesting bit. I was hoping to touch on that by dropping hints that Roark has had some dealings with the Ayians later on. Haha. This will be a good thread. I can feel it in mah bones.

That would be interesting. Also, I'll add the spies into the main page. I've had a PM over possible spaces and characters left so maybe, if that user wants to join, they will chose an agent. ^_^

Ha ha, an experienced thief vs. a paranoid lad. xDD This could either get very amusing or very frustrating for my character.

I'm hoping for the former ^-^. I'm trying to think what she'd do if Alex actually caught her in the act...It'd actually be kind of funny (for Lisa anyways, not so much Alex -.-)

Is it ok to assume her has a small coin purse in one of his pockets or something? The bag might be tempting, but Lisa's experienced, and wouldn't be stupid enough to actually go for his bag. More a go for the change while he's focusing his attention on the bag sort of strategy you know.

Heya! I'm preparing to create an agent character for Ilena. I figured that a female agent would be more likely, as female are usually not thought of much in a culture like Aiya's. She recently got a job as a kitchen worker, so a door is open for a view of the princess-and this would be reported soon as she got a chance, which is why it is unknown to the King of Ilena and the knights. I'll post her bio as soon as I get it fully typed out. Thanks for letting me join, Criminal, I look forward to roleplaying with you. ^-^

That's fine Kohana. I think it's safe to assume that he'd have a small coin purse. Especially if he's a thief ^_^.

Hmmm, well I wouldn't mind having a small coin purse she can steal, I'm just a little worried as to how the events would go. I honestly wouldn't past it Alexander to not notice losing some change, especially since Lisa's pretty good at what she does. xP So as long as there is at least a small reason as to how he would notice this, I don't mind at all.

My original idea involved rocks, lots of rocks. Including a bunch stuffed up in his pocket instead of money. xDD (From the very beginning I'd imagined Alex to keep his money in his left boot. He's a re-used character so he has these sort of details handy.) But honestly, I don't mind simply going with the flow.

XD Well I'm definitely interested to see how this all plays out! Especially with Saken's and my characters. I mean her's is that awesomely creepy character that seems to like his sister, because he knows they aren't blood related. But Jazz thinks they are!!! She would never like Shane in that way, so it will be interesting later on in the roleplay if something like that happens.

For now, the Kings will stay NPC and anyone that wants to use them at one point to move the plot forward, or for their own little plot, let me know and you can use them in the the post. They're free for anyone to use ^_^.

Also, I'm going to wait for replies to my posts from Irish Wolf and Saken before making my next post which will probably wrap up the night and then go into the next morning, I think. Depends on their posts, we'll just wait and see. I'm loving the posts so far though so keep up the good work!

Kohana, since your character was tired, I assumed that Alexander would have enough strength to keep her from running. If that's too big of an assumption and you're not alright with it, tell me and I'll revise my post right away.

So, I've got another agent wanting to join, so that will give us two agents. ^_^.

I'm enjoying all the posts right now, though before I can post for the Knights again, I'm waiting to see what Irish Wolf replies to from my reply to his question and then I will reply to ethreal, Sato, Arlight and him. Also, just waiting for Saken to reply to my last post, which she is working on, and then I will post again for Ayia. On that post I'll most likely be wrapping it up for the night, so Kohana and Lunar might want to start discussing how to end the day eventually.

I'll be doing the same for Ilena as well, so they can start travelling and also so Ayia isn't ahead in time of Ilena. I'll post ending them both and starting the the next day for both in the same post rather than having different times ^_^.

Appearance:Rough looking man who appears in his early 30’s. His hair is a dark brown and held back in a pony tail, with a reasonably well kept beard. Across much of his upper body are a collection of scars from a number of near fatal experiences throughout his long career of

Personality: Cautious and weary with newcomers Alex often comes off as unfriendly at first, yet with closer friends that he has come to trust he becomes a very loyal and steadfast guardian, willing to do anything for their safety.

Background: Born a wide-eyed farm boy Alex spent his entire life idolizing the knights and soldiers of Illena. Once he came of age and eagerly joined the army he soon discovered he hated the loss and bloodshed, yet just the same he had a knack for combat. After a number of years attempting to return to his old life he signed on as a caravan guard with a traveling merchant. After the caravan was attacked he found himself the sole surviving bodyguard and soon rose in stature, eventually drawing the attention of the royal guard. Serving for three years he eventually requested reassignment, wishing to play a more active role in the defense of Illena. Sent out to infiltrate Ayia Alex now aids all who would subvert the tyrant king.

Other: Healing(magic): Most wounds that are not immediately fatal can be healed if he drops into a coma-like state. In this state he is completely blind to the outside world and rapidly burns up energy. He also carries a supply of jerky and dried fruit on his person at all times.

Weapons: A pair of foot long sword breakers and a large collection of assorted knives hidden about his person.

Hmmmm, right now I'm thinking of posting with Demetrius watching the pickpocket and knight from the shadows. If anyone pulls steel he'll jump in, and otherwise he'll let them both go off to do whatever and he'll stop by a bar to talk to one of his contacts. Think that would work? (Lisa, Alex, what you guys think?)

If anyone else has a place they think it would be good for me to jump in I'm open.
