The raindrops thumped on the window as I walked in apartment building, wet as ever. Do I always get wet when it's raining? It wasn't time to think about that. My black blond hair was dripping with water, some of my hair stuck to my cheeks and my bangs stuck to my forehead. My skin was feeling chilly, for the rain had poured all over my arms, legs, face and clothes. And my clothes made it feel even colder, they were wet, damp and stuck to my skin which showed every curve. With a sigh and dropped my bags and stumbled into the lobby. There, I saw a woman on the reception and walked up to her and asked her for my keys. The woman asked for my name. "Hailey, Hailey Banks." I answered and saw some other people walk in.



H A I L E Y

I smiled as Pheonix slammed the car door estatically, her eyes bright
and bold, though her eyes were often like that. I pushed a few strands of blond hair out
of my face studying the excited brunnete Pheonix, who clapped her hands together
as if she was praying. Her mouth opened in awe as she stared up at the large and lavished apartments, which was a big change from a small collage dorm. Being my cousin it was not odd to see us together, and it was obviouse we were related rather then together. We had
been together sense birth and I hoped it would remain that way as we started up our lives
and occupations in New York City.

" Wow! Isn't this just great, Leo?" Pheonix asked me in awe.

" It's something," I said lugging our suitcased through the door, though she quickly
took hers.

" Let me take it, I a not a baby," she mummbled under her breath, a smirk creasing over her
face.

Kaydee looked over at her brother who pulled into the parking lot. "Well this place is something else." Kody said. Kaydee laughed. "Sure is. Minus the rain." she said as she pulled up her hood and Kody did the same. He cut the engine and reached around and grabbed their suitcases and bags. He handed Kaydee hers. "Ready?" he asked. She nodded. He put the keys in his pocket and then got out stepping into the wet rain. Kaydee got out and went around the other side.

Both of them ran up to the door and opened it. Kaydee let out a sigh of relief and took her hood off. She looked at Kody with a smile. "Let's get the key and go." she said. He nodded and walked up to the counter.

I pushed a strand of my hair out of my face with a grunt as the woman handed me a pair of keys. "Thanks. The bellboy will take care of my luggage, and baggage right?" The woman nodded as an answer to my question. I turned around blinked. A lot of people weren't wet like me. And my feet felt so cold, since the water had squeezed into my shoes. With an uncomfortable sigh. I looked at two people coming in and heading towards the reception for the key. They looked like they were siblings. Aw, I wish I had a sibling. But, that wasn't possible. I realized, that I was waiting for them. I guess I could just wait, and say hi to them after they fetch the key.

The woman asked Kody for the names as Kaydee walked up beside him. "Kody and Kaydee Parker." Kody said. The woman looked at them for a moment before handing them their key. "Thanks." Kody said. Kaydee just smiled and walked after her brother. Kody sighed and leaned against the wall as they waited for the bellboy. Kaydee fumbled with the key as she smiled at Kody.
