Heh, yeah. Most of you've probably never even heard of me (Though it would be nice to bump into a few people who do), so you didn't miss me... but I'm back! I still don't have internet under normal circumstances, but I may be on more now that I can steal my mother's blackberry to get on.

My first order of business in returning is to announce that I'm holding a contest... I actually have been for a month now, but... Lets just say that I didn't make much progress with getting people to participate. Essentially, I need ideas for the main character's left arm prosthetic in my comic, and I'm willing to do a sketch for the person whose idea I use, or the best one if I can't find one that fits.

The only criteria for the arm are that it has to be in a steampunk/clockwork style, be simple to draw, and not look too boring (I've been trying to think of a good one for two or so years now and the one I have (While it's evolved over time) still looks kinda bland and awkward). Mostly, I need how it looks more than how it works since the inner workings are part of the "endgame" of the story, so to speak.

The submission can be drawn or written out, and there doesn't need to be a great amount of quality in it (Since not everyone can draw or write well), as long as it conveys your idea well. Oh! And multiple submissions are allowed, so don't feel a need to cram everything into one design.

Lastly: The due date. Since this has already been going so long, I can't extend the deadline any longer than I have... I've already hat to three times for various reasons. Saturday at 15:00 Central Time, the winner will be decided and I'll contact them about the whole prize situation.

Unfortunately, the links to your characters do not let me see them. -pouts- I rather like prostetics, they are fun to draw. I suggest using the limbs of an insect for a reference, they work quite well as machines, really. And then, you can add little things to it, pistons, shiny lights, and something quirky that goes along with your character. If you have another link to the character needing the prostetic or have an image you can post here or even a written description of it, I would love to participate in the contest. <3
