Irish Wolf here again (damn I do seem to do a lot of these) and I'm here with another game for you to tease your mighty brains with. The general feel of this game is a modern town thrown into a fantasy world, which is in the middle of a war. The town will be fictional of course, even if a real one bares that same name. So lets start with the town and then move to the fantasy world, rules and character profiles.
There are many worlds or realities as one could call them, each separate but nearly the same. At one time, our earth and those other were once closely connect but as time passed, they grew apart, as the the inhabitants of planet Earth, have mostly forgotten about the existence of those other worlds. However, with all the fantasy writers, sparking minds across Earth, some of the other worlds, have gotten closer then they have in ages, close enough to tear open the void or cause anomalies to happen
Barrington, Vermont. Located in the Green Mountains near Camels Hump, mostly visited by hikers, campers, leaf peepers and skiers, this small town also plays host to a small environmental collage (upwards of about five hundred students). Most of the residents make their living running small farms, some sort of hunting and/or fishing supply, inns, teaching or renting rooms. Other then the Summersworth Environmental College, the town has two schools, an elementary school for k-5th grade and a middle school for 6-8th grade. The high schoolers are sent to a nearby regional school.
The world of Vesinia, world torn apart by violence and hate. Orcish warlords, leading vast hosts (massed orc tribes, gobin clans and bugbears) from the wilds lands and savage mountains have entered into a cabal with the vile humans, seeking to expand their power and the witch leaders of the subterranean dark elves, rallying under a plain black banner. Mustered against them is a weak and distrusting alliance of goodly men, noble high elves (and their lesser cousins) and stalwart dwarves. Time and time again, mistrust and general racism have splintered alliance armies, making them weak targets for the forces of the Black Banner.
Rules
1. Most fantasy races will be excepted but we're going standard fantasy, so High Elves are snobs that think themselves above everyone else, Dwarves are greedy drinkers, Humans are swing every which way, Orcs are ugly dumb buggers, ect ect ect.
2. No super godlike characters
3. No killing off other player's characters without permission or unless its agreed upon for a plot point.
4. Fantasy character will be coming from a recent Alliance defeat near a small High Elf village.
5. Please be a literate, I would like at least one (nice and meaty) paragraph per post.
6. Have fun.

Ten years ago, he left to attend college (where he got into more then a few fights and took up boxing) and later opened a gaming cafe in Boston with a few friends. He's part of the store was the food counter but he was able to pick up a lot of lingo from table top, pen and paper and computer gamers to at least get some respect. He plans to take stock of the family store, then sell the place.
