Love Ain't Easy ( )

Postby rayeine on Sat May 02, 2009 8:35 pm

Okay, I really, really need a roleplay. Right now. I'm up for a dramatic, arduous romance sort of thing. No gender limitations, but please be reasonably literate and keep the age range between 15 and 20.
If you have a plot, that's amazing and I congratulate you. If you don't have a plot, just ask to join and post a bio and we'll roll with that.
This can be a 1x1, a 1x2, or even a full-blown roleplay with lots of people. There will be no sign-up, just join in the thread itself very quickly. The more people join in the next ten minutes the better, because that's when I'd like to begin. Please be sure to check back at least a few times a week.
Thanks!

Name: Steve Sand
Age: 19
Appearance: Steve Sand

Steve dragged himself up the stairs to his apartment, and looked around the second story. The hippies getting drunk to the right of him were outside, as always, along with their crazy dog. Instead of joining them again, he went into his own apartment, Room #909, and threw his keys on the table. He set down his wallet and cell phone on the kitchen counter, then walked over to the couch to watch some T.V.

He grabbed the remote, and pressed the green powers button. The screen lit up, and a very odd movie came on. Two puppies sharing a plate of spaghetti, then slurping it up, there lips meeting mid-bite. I wish I could meet someone like that. Steve thought. He turned off the T.V., bored to death, and picked up his Ipod. He plugged it into the speakers, and turned on some nice, slow classical music. He sat back down on the couch and waited for something exciting to happen.

Haylee Madison, on the next floor up, was frustrated with her computer, her wall color, and her life.

The usually bubbly college student had woken up to find that all the ice cream she had thought was in her freezer was gone, that she no longer liked aubergine, that her Photoshop refused to open, and that there was a barking dog outside. Not only that, but her iPod was dead.
It was a decidedly bad day; however, that didn't stop Haylee from trying to make it better. She fell back onto the beanbag behind her. However, such was the girl's luck, she fell to the floor with a loud 'thud' which echoed through the floors below.

Seth Evans sighed as he lay on si soft bed. His hands combed through his jet black hair and lay if beside his laptop that was sitting on the ground running alone on its battery. It had a blank page was visible on the screen. He thought for a moment what to write about for his first project.
His jet black eyes looked up at the ceiling hearing a loud thud. "She probably fell again." Seth chuckled to himself before shutting off his lap top and going out of his room.
Soki: but what did my face do to you before?
ICry: Lol what? "but whats on my face? Whore?"
Soki: No, that''s not what I said -Lhfao-

Haylee groaned and sat up a minute later, feeling disoriented. She started to get up, and, thinking she heard something at the door, simply sat down again.
"It's open," Haylee called, and closed her eyes, putting her hand out to find the bean bag's actual location before pulling it over and putting her pounding head on it. Her usually bouncy dark auburn curls fell into waves around her face, and her lips pulled into a grimace from the pain.

Natalie laid in her bed peacefully. Her eyes were fully open and she was now taking in the bright sunlight. Her head felt heavy and she couldn't quite catch her breath. She arose from the bed moments later as a mummy would rise from it's tomb. She didn't know why she was looking forward to this day, but she was. Throwing her legs over the side of her large Queen sized bed, she yawned and stretched out her arms as if they were beautiful wings waiting to be used. She watched as her German Shepard, Harper, patroled the room. Natalie smiled signaling it was okay.

Steve got up from his couch, and went to the front door. Every time he had gone over to Haylee's house, something cool had happened, so he decided to go up there. He went up the stairs, after saying hello to the hippies, and knocked on the door. He patiently awaited her arrival.

"It's open," Haylee called again. "Oh, hey, Steve." she said, laughing at her awkward position on the floor. "Um...how's it going?" She beamed and tried to sit up, only to fall back again at the pain in her temples.
She was hardly in a dignified state today, but from the looks of it her crappy day had just gotten marginally better. Unless he was here about something stupid. She braced herself for a complaint, hoping it was just a social visit.

"Hey Haylee." Steve said calmly. "Just dropping by." He added smoothly. He looked around, but didn't see anyone on the couch or in the kitchen. He scanned the ground and saw her on the ground, in a very awkward position. "What are you doing down there?" He asked.

He walked over, and leaned down to help her up. He touched her hand, and pulled her up, hoping that was not too awkward.

"I fell." Haylee told him bluntly, taking his hand. The gesture didn't bother touchy-feely Haylee in the slightest, and she staggered to the bathroom to find something to dull the throbbing pain.
She took a couple of bubblegum pink pills, which took effect almost immediately, and made her way back into the other room.
"So, to what do I owe this visit?" she asked cordially, sitting on the couch, having at first checked to make sure the piece of furniture was actually there.

Haylee got up with ease, seeming totally fine with Steve 'holding' her hand, and then stepped into the restroom to take some medicine. He sat down on the couch, feeling right at home away from home.

She sat down next to him, and asked what he owed the visit. "Your fancy person talk confuses me, but I was just thinking about you, so I thought I might come over." Steve said. "Do you have plans?" Steve added.

Haylee laughed. "That was nice of you. I'm free today, did you want to do something?" she teased. "Nah, wanna go get some food?" She smiled at him and stood slowly, taking her old jeans and tee shirt into account. "I mean, like, in a little while." Haylee shot him a slightly embarrassed look. "I'm kinda in chill mode. Wasn't expecting to do anything fun."

She responded to his question with another question, "Do you want to do something?" That got him thinking. Something? What does she mean by something? Something sexual? Wait she's talking again. Steve thought, soon snapping back to reality. She stood up, and looked at her clothes.

"You like fine." Steve said, trying to be nice. She was insisting on changing, so she said in a little while. "I'm good with a little while." Steve said. "If you won't be long, could I just stay here?" Steve asked. He was looking fine on his account. He was wearing blue jeans and a white hoodie, his hair done fine. He had picked up his wallet, keys, and cell phone before leaving, in case he needed them.

Haylee laughed again. "Sure. Don't move, okay?" She vanished into her room and changed her old, ratty jeans out for new, tighter purple ones, and her relaxed, sleep tee shirt for a lime green asymmetrical rocker tee. It showed off her pretty shoulders, so Haylee grabbed a jacket just in case it got cold.
With that, she pulled on a pair of black ballet flats and stepped back out, her bouncy ringlets restored.
"Okay, where do you want to go? Or, you know, what did you want to do?"

Steve continued to site on the couch as Haylee went into her room to change into a cute outfit. She came back out a minute later, totally changed. She asked where he wanted to go, or what he wanted to do. "I'm good with whatever you want." Steve said, finally standing up after sitting on the couch for a long while.

"I could stay here and hang out if you want. Or we could go out." Haylee shrugged. "It's way more fun than being alone." She tossed him a playful wink and sat on the couch again, her arms around her knees.
Her cute neighbor had decided to show up unexpectedly. She didn't intend to pass up any opportunity.

Haylee sat back down on the couch, so Steve joined her. He probably looked pretty stupid, getting up then sitting right back down. Come on Steve! Think before you act Steve thought, scolding himself. He was always nervous in situations like this. She asked him what he wanted to do, stay here or go somewhere else, and he could never answer questions like that. "What's the right answer?" Steve said, trying to be as flirty as possible without giving away any bias toward either answer.

"The truth." Haylee shot back. When it came to playful, flirty banter, she always won. She lay back, stretching her long legs out in front of her and taking up much of the couch. She smirked at Steve.

"You really want the truth?" Steve asked, being seduced by Haylee's long, smooth, sexy legs. "We could stay here," Steve said. I have to find some reason though. "And watch some T.V." Steve added, trying not to sound too desperate.
