Hello there, this is the OOC thread for A Love Restrained (A Pirate Story). The thread is in great need of people and if you think you would be interested I would love it if you could post here. I have already made the IC but this is where I need people to post there character sheets.

The time is 1803 on a small island country about 300 miles off the coast of Great Britain. Iridale isn't on any of the maps circulating through the known world, but this little monarchy ruled country could care less. Iridale is doing fine on there own and doesn't want anything to do with the wars and battles that wrack the rest of the world. But there secret existence couldn't stay safe long with the increasing amounts of pirates, and surly in 1780 a notorious pirate captain stumbled onto there little nation. The pirates terrorized the streets for a few days but the king of Iridale paid the pirates the weight of there ship in gold if they left and never uttered anything about of Iridale. The pirates eagerly agreed and took the money leaving and the King sighed thankful to the simple solution to such a problem.

Twenty three years have passed without so much of a word from the pirates but things were soon to change, the gold was long gone and the greedy captain felt the need for more. And so the pirates reappeared but Iridale had no gold for them and therefore the pirates attacked the helpless country. They murdered the King and Queen, burned down the castle and surrounding cities and murdered all in sight. Well not quite all, the adult Prince and Princess were taken aboard the pirates ship and held as hostage. The pirates leave determined to at least get some gold off selling the royalty at the slave markets in South America.

The remaining people are devastated without there monarchs, and in there desperation they seek help form Great Britain. The British agree, ready to rid the sees of pirates they set off on a chase. While back on the pirate ship the Princess finds something about her captor so familiar and though she regrets it starts to feel herself falling for him. Her older brother says nothing when she tells him of the familiarity caused by there captor and quickly dismiss it, hoping his sister won't remember and glad the captain isn't bringing up painful memories for his sister. Will the prince ever tell his sister why there captor seems so familiar? And what will happen when the redcoats catch up to the pirate ship? Will the princess risk the noose and stand beside the man shes in love with or go back to her needy people and see him hung right before her eyes?




Okay so I know that was a bit confusing but certain characters know more than others and I didn't want to let to much information go. When you apply tell what position you will be applying for and I will pm you your parts of the plot so you know whats going on. We need the Princess (23 years old), the Prince (older than the Princess), and crew members of the pirate ship(any age older than 16 and any gender).

My Character:
Name: Aidan Matthew Lewison
Age: 23
Position: Captain of Pirates
Appearance: Aidan is a tall man with a muscular body type a large broad face. He has curly black hair that comes down to his chin and large bright green eyes. He is usually seen wearing his blue trousers and black boots with a white shirt and his blue over coat, also a large cutlass hangs at his side.
Personality: Aidan seems like a cocky rash young man and though this is his natural persona he does try to think before acting, it just doesn't always work. He loves the sound of laughter and is jolly soul but can have a bit of a temper if you get on his nerves.
Short Bio: At the age of 15 Aidan was taken by some pirates and forced to work as a ship boy on there ship. However unlike most ship boys he progressed rapidly through the ranks and when the ships captain was killed in a battle with the Brits, Aidan became captain.

Name: Sahren
Age: 23
Position: Princess
Appearance: When barefoot, Sahren stands at only 5'4". Her body is lean from years of dance lessons, and also from the overall restrictions of being royalty. Her skin is flawless, and while not very tan, has a sunny glow to it at all times. Chestnut locks of hair fall in waves to her mid back, and hazel eyes peer out at the world from behind angled bangs. Her eyes perfectly portray how kind and caring the princess actually is.
Personality: Being the youngest child, and a girl, Sahren has always been looked out for by her brother and parents. This has made her incapable of doing certain things, since most have been done for her. She is also rather naive, and likes to believe the best in people. Sahren also has a very strong sense of loyalty, to her country and to her family. She is very kinda, caring, and considerate of other people. On the other hand, if she doesn't like you, then she will have no problem telling you.
Short Bio: Growing up as a princess was a very magical life for Sahren. She had anything she could ever desire... but always had a small empty aching in her heart that she could not explain. For the most part, her life was fairly boring, as ladies don't get to do much more than stand still and look pretty.
Now on the pirate ship, Sahren would give anything to go back to boring. Her parents are dead, and she is trapped on a boat with their killers. Thankfully her brother, who she puts all her trust and faith in, is on board with her.

Very good, now if only we could get someone to play her brother we can begin.

Name: Alexander
Age: 26
Position: Prince
Apperance: Alexander stands tall and proud at a hieght of 6 foot 3 with broad shoulders and a muscular lean body contributed to his training and fencing lessons. His hair is a sunny dirty blond. His shirt bangs slightly brush his honey hazel eyes. In apperance, he is truly a prince charming from tales. He wears the sophisticated attire given to him by his status and prefers to wear the warrior armor given to him on his passage to manhood. He as of yet had no need to use it.
Personality: He wears a smile easily and seems a charitable prince to his kinsmen. He is very protective over his sister and will risk life and limb to insure his safety. His sweet words and easily turn into a honey coated viper's tongue when tried. He has a quick wit which he must keep in check at times.
Short Bio: As the eldest child the responsibilites of the kingdom began to settle on his shoulders when he became a man. He was at the council when the pirates had first arrived and could never forget how ashamed he was that his father had given their needed gold and silver to the thieves. He would have rathered to fight them off their land. He had fancied a nobel from their court, but she now laid dead from the seige of the pirates.

Position:first mate. (if thats okay)
Appearance:Tall for a woman se stands at 5'10" but is very slender only weighing 135 pounds. Most men take her as a joke because she looks so delicate. but she is hardened from her years on the sea. she is tan with freckles across her nose and cheeks. she has long black hair she keeps braided or under a hat at all times. her eyes are a very dark brown and they can change to black and stormy just as the sea in an instant. she usually wears pants over a skirt because she can fight better in it.
Personality: quite but deadly. nifty with a blade and a bit short tempered at times. she is in no way a proper woman since she refuses to wear anything pink or frilly.
Short Bio: Born to a bar maid with no idea of who her father was she jumped n a ship poseing as a cabin boy at the age of 11 and never looked back. she grew up and ended up fleeing the ship after they found out she was not a boy. she later found Captian Aiden and stuck with it.

Just to let you know, Beany has gone away for a few days and won't be posting, the whole RP is on hold right now. But yeah, the lack of response will be due to that, not anything else. If you are still interested in joining you can look for a response sometime around the 10th.

Appearance:
Personality: Blake is a lively young man. He likes to talk to people. His favorite place on the ship is hanging on one of the side ropes connecting the crows nest to the side of the ship.
Short Bio: Blake has no memory of his parents, but when he was 13, he saw Aidan and became a powder monkey for his ship. Now older, Blake does as he pleases aboard the ship.
