This is a closed roleplay between myself and Queenforaday

The nearly silent swishing of tree leaves rustling was all seventeen year old Zoe Lea Forest needed to cover the sound of the sliding glass door opening, leaving her plan off to a good start as she stepped out into her backyard, slowly closing the door behind her. Zoe pulled her navy blue cardigan tightly closed around her slender shoulders left bare by her white camisole. It wasn't so much as the cool autumn breeze the night brought, but the thrill of sneaking out to see her best friend, Chloe Kendall's brother, Connor that sent shivers of excitement down Zoe's spine. Was it a crime that she had been seeing Chloe's brother without telling her?

Heel, toe, heel, toe. Zoe silently made her way to the only thing separating the Forest and Kendall's back yards. It was a short fence, One The five foot two inch Zoe couldn't clear in one bound, but with a little upper arm strength, she could pull herself up and over with no trouble. Once Zoe was over the fence, she exhaled the breath she had been holding since she left her bedroom. Lifting a dainty hand polished with chipped blue paint to her face, she tucked a loose tendril of wavy chocolate hair behind an ear. Her dark eyes darted to the door, hoping she hadn't be caught. After a good two minutes of absolute silence, Zoe smiled a little. From there things would be easy, or at least she had hoped.

As she approached the glass doors to the Kendall's household, Zoe stopped and peeked into the door. She bit her lip. She couldn't see a thing. Zoe looked at her watch. It read 1:59 a.m. Connor should be there to let her in any minute now. She just hoped he hadn't forgotten.

Everything was silent in nineteen year old Connor Ryan Kendall's backyard, except for the autumn breeze flowing through the trees and the quiet hum of the pool heater. Connor was sitting in one of the lounge chairs, making sure he stayed out of the light, where no one could see him unless they took a second look. Soon, he heard the sound of feet hitting damp grass and a smile crept onto his face. He watched in utter silence as Zoe climbed over the short fence which separated their backyards. His eyes were on her the entire time, as she quickly darted for the glass back door and when she tucked a piece of her wavy chocolate brown hair behind her ear. Connor couldn't help but think about how breathtaking she was. Whenever he looked at her, he felt as though he should gather her up in his arms and kiss her. He wasn't sure how he ever made it through being just friends with her for so many years. Now, he couldn't wait for his family to go to bed, so he could sneak out and see her.

Finally, after several seconds, Zoe turned around and peered inside of the Kendall house. Once he was sure she wasn't going to be turning around, Connor slowly made his way towards her, hoping she wouldn't catch his reflection in the white moonlight that was hitting the patio door. As soon as he was right behind her, and slipped his fingers around her tiny waist. She felt so fragile and unreal under his grip, like if he held her or hugged her just a little hard, she would burst into a million tiny pieces. But her small, dainty stature is what he loved about her, along with the innocent air she had about her when she walked, talked or did pretty much anything. Holding onto her waist, he pulled her back a little and whispered into her ear.

"Miss me?"

Just as Zoe was starting to think Connor had forgotten about them meeting that night, she felt someone grab her by the waist. Zoe let out a sharp gasp. She was sure she had been caught until she heard the smooth, familiar voice.

"Miss me?"

Zoe closed her eyes and let her back press against him. She sighed in relief and turned around, slowly opening her eyes. Every time she saw him, she tried to make the best of it. It wasn't every day she got to be this way with Connor. Chloe always intercepted the two, leaving Zoe eager to see him the next time around. Tonight she was fortunate. Zoe chuckled softly and placed a hand along his jaw. "More and more every day." She bit her lip and let her deep brown eyes linger on him for a moment or two.

Zoe let her hand fall from his face and land on his chest. "Are you sure everyone's asleep?" She looked back towards the house into the glass doors, along with the windows that sat above it. She didn't see any lights on, but she always felt as if someone were watching them.

Zoe looked back at Connor and smiled, her brown eyes glimmering. "It's hard to believe we've actually managed to keep this under wraps for so long." She sighed. "It's romantic in a way, but it's also terribly troubling." Zoe ran a hand through Connor's hair and frowned. "I wonder if this was how Juliet felt?" She joked, grinning playfully.

Connor smiled down at Zoe, who's voice was soft and sweet as she spoke to him. He lightly wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pulling her into an embrace the moment she turned around. With one hand, he pushed a few tendrils of coffee brown hair out of her face. Connor felt something rise in his chest when she returned his embrace and touched his face and it made his smile grow even bigger. He nodded when she asked if everyone was asleep, loving the sound of her voice and not wanting to ruin the feeling he had by speaking. Zoe felt warm and comfortable against his chest, just like she always did. Pulling her in closer, Connor rested a hand on the small of her back and lightly rubbed it. Her hair smelt like apples, which he guessed was from some kind of shampoo, but he didn't care. He drank in the scent of her. He cringed slightly at her mentioning the elephant in the air of their relationship, the fact that no one knew they were actually an item.

"Zoe..." he said, in a quiet, soothing voice, "You know I want to wait for the right time to tell Chloe." He pulled away from her a little, but still keeping her close. "And don't go comparing us to Romeo and Juliet, it gives me a sense of foreboding that I don't exactly like."

He gave Zoe a small grin before pulling her back towards him and kissing her, without giving her a chance to say anything. Her lips were soft and warm on his and she tasted like mint toothpaste.

"So," he said, tracing her lips with one finger, "What should we do tonight?"

Zoe closed her hes and rested her head on Connor's chest as he spoke. The vibrations from his throat rumbled in her ear, giving Zoe a sense of comfort. She knew it was killing her inside to not tell Chloe about her and Connor's relationship, but she knew it would kill Chloe equally, if not worse, if she were to tell her. Zoe opened her eyes and looked back up at Connor.

Before she could make any comment about what he had said, Zoe was surprised with a soft, yet passionate kiss. She felt at peace with him. When his face moved away from hers, Zoe didn't move. She wanted to feel the sensation of that kiss forever and as of then, she could still feel it. When he spoke, Zoe chuckled softly, a light happy sound that came from the very depths of her heart and soul. Connor made her feel happy, she didn't want to hide that from anyone anymore. It was such a burden to keep everything secretive. With what time they were together, Zoe couldn't help but feel a little bit guilty. She felt as if she were betraying her best friend. Zoe didn't want to think of it that way. Connor was right; They had to keep things on the down low until the right time.

"So, What should we do tonight?"

Zoe smiled and blinked slowly, the moonlight danced off of Connor's features so beautifully. "I'm completely content with just snuggling with you under the moonlight, but with me going off to Wisconsin for the next three weeks, I want tonight to be a little bit different." Zoe bit her lip and gazed at Connor with her eyes wide. She looked so young, so naive. She wasn't going to be sweet little Zoe Lea Forest forever.

Zoe leaned up and kissed Connor's cheek. She brushed her lips along his jawline and sighed. "Connor, just how much do you love me?" she asked quietly, hoping she hadn't said the wrong thing.

Connor glanced away when she mentioned her leaving. She had told him about the trip months ago, but he couldn't help that he didn't want her to go. It was hard enough seeing her everyday around his house with his sister, but not being able to see her at all was going to be so much worse. He bent down a little when she leaned up to kiss his cheek, placing his hands back on her waist.

"Connor, how much do you love me?" Zoe asked him quietly, causing Connor to tilt his head and stare down at her for a moment before it clicked in his head what she was really asking. At first, he wasn't exactly sure what to say, but after a minute of looking at the hopeful, yet nervous look on Zoe's face, he gave her a soft smile and cupped her face in his hands.

"I love you more than anything else in the world, Zoe," he told her, staring deep into her light brown eyes, "You're the only girl I'll ever love." When she nodded, Connor knew what it meant. Slowly, he pulled away from her and gently took hold of her hand. Quietly, he opened the sliding glass door and the two of them slipped inside the Kendall house. After slowly making their way up the stairs, Connor stopped just as they entered his room and turned to Zoe.

"Are you sure?" he said, his voice barely a whisper, but she heard him anyways and nodded. Smiling, Connor peaked out his door to make sure no one was there then pulled Zoe into a light, passionate kiss, quietly closing the door behind them and disappearing into the darkness of his room.

Zoe had been looking forward to returning home for days, but now, she wasn't so sure she wanted to return. She sat in the back of her mother's SUV, a teddy bear sat in her lap. She clutched onto it like it would make her troubles disappear. A lump grew in her throat as they turned onto her street. Her stomach had been churning all morning. She wasn't ready for this. When she saw the house come into view, Zoe squeezed her eyes shut and hoped for everything to be a dream and she was still lying there in Connor's arms three weeks ago.

"Home sweet home." Came the voice of Denise Forest, Zoe's mother. Zoe took a deep breath and looked out the window. Her stomach sank when she saw Connor and Chloe emerge from their house. Zoe chewed on her lower lip and reached for the door handle. She took a deep breath, hand resting on the only thing keeping her from the Kendall's and what reality came with them. Zoe put on her best show smile and opened the door, slowly climbing out.

"Chloe." Zoe smiled and opened her arms wide to greet her best friend. Her eyes darted to Connor. A look of panic crossed her face, but was gone in a split second. she didn't want him to think something was wrong. something was wrong, but she couldn't tell him. Not with Chloe being there. She had to suck it up and keep to herself until things cooled off. Or got much more complicated.

"It does not take this long to drive to and from the airport.." complained seventeen year old Chloe Lynn Kendall, who was impatiently swaying back and forth on the Kendall's porch swing. The previous three weeks had been the most boring weeks of her life without having Zoe there to do anything with. Chloe had spent most of her free time at home or hanging out with Donovan, but she couldn't really complain about the last one. She had so much to tell her friend and could hardly wait one more second. The breeze was blowing tendrils of coffee brown hair into her face, causing her brother to laugh each time a new one fell in her face. Chloe shot a scowl in Connor's direction, who was staring at the end of the road. "What are you doing out here anyways?" she asked him, with the scowl still remaining on her face.

"She's mine friend too, you know," he said, taking out his cell phone and trying not to look as eager as he felt. The truth was, Connor was more anxious to see Zoe then his sister could ever be. He had spent most of his nights laying in his bed, replaying what had happened the night before she had left and wishing she was back in his bed, not out in Wisconsin. When Connor looked back up, he spotted the Forest's familiar silver SUV pulling up in their driveway. He watched as his sister sprang from the porch swing, nearly knocking it over on it's side and bounding across the yard that separated the two houses. As Zoe slipped out of the car, her eyes locked with his and he felt his heart rate instantly pick up. He thought he saw an odd look appear on her face, but it was gone the moment Chloe nearly tackled her to the ground. Connor slowly made his way down the steps and approached the two girls, who were now locked in a rather aggressive looking hug, mostly because Chloe seemed to refuse to let go. Sighing quietly to himself, Connor stuck his hands in his dark denim pockets.

"Oh my god," Chloe bellowed as she let go of Zoe, "I missed you soooo much! I have so many things to tell you, you'll never believe what happened!"

Zoe stumbled backwards a little as Chloe nearly knocked her right off her feet. She let out a soft chuckle and tried her best to seem pleasant. Wisconsin had been dull without anyone there over the age of twelve and under the age of thirty to keep her company. She needed interaction with people her age to stay alive, but now that she was back, all Zoe wanted to do was curl up in a ball in the corner of her room. Zoe embraced her friend. She was finally getting what she longed for these past weeks. Sane social interaction.

"Oh my god, I missed you soooo much! I have so many things to tell you, you'll never believe what happened!"

Zoe smiled and let out a chuckle. "I could only imagine with you." She pulled Chloe in for one last hug, sighing as she stepped back. "It's almost as if I've been gone for a year. It's so good to see you guys." Zoe looked at Connor, her smile a little more solemn. "Hey, Connor." Zoe wanted to kiss him right then. It was that small thread of sense that was keeping her from doing so. she could cope with just seeing him for now, but she needed to get him alone some time soon. She felt as if she had so much to say, but didn't know how to say it.

Zoe focused her attention back on Chloe. "Why don't you come over while I unpack and you can tell me all about what I missed." She Smiled wide. "Come on, it'll be the relaxing 'girl' time I so desperately need." Zoe grabbed Chloe's hand and the handle of her suitcase before starting for the Forest's front door. "It was great seeing you again, Connor." Zoe looked back over his shoulder at him. She wasn't sure if she were ready to face him just yet.

"Hello Zoe," Connor said, trying not to lock eyes with her because he was afraid that he would gather her in his arms and kiss her right on the spot, in front of Chloe and Zoe's mother. After running a hand through his hair, Connor gave the girls a small wave and headed back towards the house as they headed inside of Zoe's house, chattering away. He wasn't sure how much longer he could go without seeing her, but knew he would most likely have to wait until much later tonight. Sighing, he took one last look at Zoe and went back inside his house.

Chloe talked all the way up to Zoe's room, telling her about the few parties she went to, about how bored she was and what had gone on at school. Once they were in her room, she made sure to shut the door behind them, then setting the bag she carried up on top of Zoe's bed and plopped down next to it.

"Okay, you can tell me all about Wisconsin and all the cute boys you met there in a minute," Chloe blurted out, a large smile of anticipation on her face, "I have something big to tell you, want to guess what it is?"

Zoe tried to focus in on what Chloe was telling her as they made their way to her room, but her thoughts kept drifting elsewhere. Zoe just couldn't get Connor out of her mind. She had to meet with him as soon as she could. It had been three weeks, three weeks she had gone from seeing either of the Kendall kids. Zoe wasn't too sure which one she missed more; Her best friend? Or the man she was completely in love with.

Zoe nearly tripped over the last step leading up to her room, she was so consumed in her thoughts. Zoe blamed it on her exhaustion and blew it off as it were nothing. Once they were inside Zoe's room, chloe closed the door, and started to dish.

"Okay, you can tell me all about Wisconsin and all the cute boys you met there in a minute."

Zoe scoffed and rolled her eyes, falling onto her bed, face down. "this is going to be good." Zoe teased sarcastically, her voice muffled by layers upon layers of bedding. Rolling onto her back, Zoe sighed. "I dunno, you helped rescue a kitten from a burning tree? Met the man of your dreams? Discovered the cure to the common cold?" Zoe looked over at Chloe and furrowed her eyebrows. "Help me out, I'm running out of guesses here." Zoe sat up and yawned heartily. "What is this big secret?" She asked, combing her fingers through her hair as she listened for her friend to spill the can of 'big secret' beans.

Chloe wiggled her eyebrows at Zoe, pausing a few more seconds to let the suspense build up until Zoe was giving her that please-tell-me-before-I-burst look. "Okay, ready?" she said, wiggling her eyebrows once more, "Donovan. Kissed. Me." She spaced out her words, trying to make it sound as dramatic as possible. Chloe let herself gently fall back on her friends bed, completely aware she had a big goofy grin on her face, but at the moment she couldn't care less. She had been holding in that secret for an entire week. At first, she had been tempted to tell Connor, but knowing him, he would have gone into macho-big-brother mode and wouldn't let Donovan anywhere near her. Chloe sat back up and smiled brightly at her friend, swinging her legs back and forth over the edge of Zoe's bed.

"Sooo," Chloe said, eyeing her best friend carefully, "Tell me all about the boys you met in Wisconsin, and don't you dare lie to me. I can totallyy tell you met someone!"

Zoe's jaw dropped. She looked at Chloe for a moment in total disbelief before throwing a pillow at her. "You never told me you and Donovan had a thing!" She scoffed. "I didn't even know you liked him! Did you let him? Did you kiss him back? Oh. My. God. Don't tell me you like him!?" Zoe gawked at Chloe, her mind completely blown by this new bit of information. "I dunno whether to be utterly shocked, or happy for you." Zoe smiled and shook her head. For a moment, it actually felt like old times, before her and Connor were secretly together. When Zoe could hang out with Chloe without it seeming a bit awkward, or in fear that she might find out.

Chloe must have caught that Zoe was thinking about someone, more specifically, a boy, because her next question hinted that she might just be able to read minds.

"Sooo, tell me all about the boys you met in Wisconsin, and don't you dare lie to me. I can totallyy tell you met someone!"

Zoe looked at her friend, a little confused at what she really just asked. In other words, Chloe knew Zoe was crushing on someone, she just didn't know it was her brother. Zoe blushed and swung her legs back and forth over the edge of her bed. She could lie and cover her and Connor by saying she did meet someone in Wisconsin that captured her heart. Why not? It's not like Chloe would know Zoe was lying. It would give Chloe a reason not to suspect anything between Zoe and Connor, although, Zoe felt as if the truth would soon be known.

Zoe sighed and stared down at her hands before looking back to Chloe. "His name is Keegan," She lied, biting her lip. Zoe never lied to Chloe before, and it felt just as bad as cheating. She couldn't come clean now though, salt had already been added to the wound. This was the point of no return. "Absolutely incredible personality, this guy has. He has incredible blue eyes that stand out like a sore thumb. Sandy blonde, short, but not too short hair. Somewhere around the height of six foot three, and an amazing, just amazing body." Zoe sighed dramatically and lied back on her bed."He's just all around dreamy and I just can't seem to get him out of my mind." Zoe's stomach churned. She couldn't get the feeling of lying to her best friend out of her head. Zoe looked at Chloe and huffed. "There, are you happy now?"

"I knew it!" Chloe screeched at her friend and laid back down next to her, listening to all of the little details Zoe was telling her. She added several overly exited 'Ohhs' and 'Oh my god's, and even a few giggles. Chloe was very glad to hear that Zoe had met someone, she was always telling her that if she didn't start dating or 'getting some practice in', she was going to die alone. She had always been the boy crazy one, always flirting and dating twenty-four-seven, though she never really slept around. As boy crazy as she was, Chloe was not that kind of girl, nor did she ever plan to be. Rolling onto her side, Chloe gave her best friend a huge hug. "Yes! I am perfectly happy, you have just fed the gossip monkey that has been on my back for the past. three. weeks."

After a moment, Chloe let Zoe go and rolled over onto her back, still smiling like a mad man when an idea clicked into her head.

"You should totally come over for dinner," she pleaded, "Mom is making chicken. And besides, we all completely missed you, even Connor, apparently. Dad said it even felt like they had shipped their third kid off to summer camp or something."

Zoe chuckled and rolled her eyes. She knew Chloe was always up for a little gossip. Besides, Chloe said herself she was happy for her to have found someone. If she only knew that the real person Zoe couldn't get off her mind was her brother, Chloe would go berserk.

Zoe sighed and stared up at her ceiling as the room went silent for a good minute or two. The silence seemed like too much to bear, but Chloe broke it by asking Zoe to dinner. She didn't even have to think of an answer for that one, but she acted as so so she could think of one thing that really stood out in Chloe's invitation. Connor had truly missed her. Zoe smiled and looked at Chloe. "Dinner sounds great, and chicken? I've been dying for some good chicken these past few days."

Actually, what Zoe really wanted at that moment was some beef jerky and lots of peanut butter. She could settle for chicken, besides, she could see Connor that way. She needed to get a few things off her chest, but she didn't exactly know how to explain them.

"So, what time do you think dinner will be at?" Zoe asked, her stomach growling.

Connor stabbed a piece of chicken and stuffed it in his mouth, mentally strangling his sister for inviting Zoe to dinner and then unknowingly forcing them to sit next to each other. It was hard enough knowing he would have to wait several more hours to see her, but it made it a thousand times harder to see her now and have to pretend like the last thing he wanted to do was get up, take her in his arms and kiss her. It didn't help when Chloe started talking, because once she got going, she never stopped. He was just about to tell her to shut her over-sized mouth, when she said something that almost made Connor choke on his food.

"Oh my god," Chloe said in between bites of string beans, "Zoe, tell them about the super-hot sandy blonde boy you spent time with while you were in Wisconsin!"

Connor instantly stiffened and dropped his fork onto his plate, making a very loud bang. He coughed and ran his fingers through his hair, trying to seem calm, while his insides felt like they were burning up. It was all he could do not to explode right there on the spot.

Zoe cursed Chloe for forcing Conner and her to sit together. It was awkward trying to act as if nothing was going on between them. Dinner was oddly quiet after the first five minutes. Well, except for on Chloe's part. She would talk for hours on end if she could. It saved Zoe sometimes, because she could carry on a conversation with Chloe without saying really much anything. The chicken was delicious and was much better than jerky or peanut butter.

"Oh my god, Zoe, tell them about the super-hot sandy blonde boy you spent time with while you were in Wisconsin!"

Zoe instantly froze. She stared in shock at Chloe. Did she really just mention the fake dream boy from Wisconsin? In front of Connor? Might as well announce it to the world. A clatter of silverware against a plate sounded and an awkward cough followed. Zoe knew it was Connor. She slowly chewed the food she had in her mouth and looked down at her plate, ashamed that she had lied to Chloe. Everything was blowing up in her face now and there was no was to put out the fuse. Zoe scooted her chair backwards and stood up. "Excuse me."

Zoe felt sick to her stomach. How would she explain this to Connor? Everything was getting so complicated lately, Zoe hurried to the bathroom and made sure to lock the door. She sank down to her knees in front of the toilet and dinner repeated itself in rewind.

When she returned, Zoe was pale. She felt terrible. "I-I need to go home, I'm sorry." Zoe looked at Connor. . She could tell he was upset. She shot him a quick 'I-can-explain' look before apologizing again. "Dinner was great Mrs. Kendall, I'm sorry I have to leave in the middle of it." Zoe quickly cleaned her plate and left. How would she explain this to Connor later?

Connor silently leaned against the wall of Zoe's house, impatiently waiting for her to come outside. It was nearly one in the morning and he had texted her ten minutes ago. He wanted to yell at her, and demand to know why she cheated on him. Connor had a very hard time believing what his sister had said, but he couldn't help it. Zoe never lied to Chloe about anything. Well, anything other than his and Zoe's relationship. When he heard noise coming from inside the house, Connor made sure to stay out of view and in the dark. Slowly, the sliding door was opened and Zoe emerged. Before she could head towards his house, he grabbed her by the arm and turned him towards her, a look of anger on his face as he stared into her eyes.

"What the fucking hell, Zoe?" he said, trying his best to keep his voice down, "Is there something you want to explain to me? Maybe why you screwed around with some guy in fucking Wisconsin?"

Zoe fiddled around with her hair in the small mirror above her vanity. She was nervous to go see Connor. After what happened tonight at dinner, she was downright scared. A buzz came from Zoe's pocket. She looked at it. It was from Connor. She inhaled deeply and sighed, looking solemnly at the reflection in the mirror before standing up. She must have paced the room for several minutes before she got up enough courage to face Connor.

Quietly, Zoe slipped from her bedroom, being careful not to step on the squeaky edges of the stairs. Her bare feet padded across the cool tile of the Forest's kitchen to where a pair of black flats rested by the sliding glass door. Zoe slipped them on and reached for the cool metal handle.

When she was outside, Zoe was hit by a gust of wind that sent chills through her body. She turned to head for the Kendall's house, but someone grabbed her arm.

"What the fucking hell, Zoe? Is there something you want to explain to me? Maybe why you screwed around with some guy in fucking Wisconsin?"

Zoe reluctantly looked at Connor. "Connor, look, please don't get mad, it's not what you think." Zoe knew something like this would happen. This was what she deserved for lying to her best friend. She wasn't proud of lying, but just by the hurt look on Connor's face, Zoe was glad that it wasn't true. Zoe looked pleadingly into Connor's eyes which she could see were filled with anger. "Please, hear me out, you have to understand," Oh god, Zoe knew the way she was dragging this out was killing Connor, but she was just buying herself time. She didn't want to face what she had in store just yet. Stalling was the only way she saw fit. "I would never, ever do something like that to you. Please, trust me." She shook her head and bit her lower lip to keep from loosing control of her emotions. "There is no super-hot sandy blonde boy from Wisconsin, that was just a lie to keep Chloe off my back. Connor, I don't know how you're going to react to this, but please, don't get upset," She tried to avoid his eyes, but she could feel his gaze on her. Zoe's cheeks went hot and she suddenly felt dizzy. "Connor I'm," Zoe felt her throat restrict. Her voice cracked and her vision started to blur with tears. "I'm pregnant."

Connor felt like he couldn't breathe, like all the air had been knocked out of his lungs by those three little words that he was replaying over and over in his head.

"Connor, I'm pregnant."

He couldn't believe it, he didn't want to believe it. There was no way he could have gotten her pregnant, they used protection. His mind flashed backed to all of those sex-ed classes he took throughout his school years, and each teacher specifically said that condoms didn't always work, but he never believed them. How could they not work? They were made for a certain purpose, and if they didn't work for that purpose, then what good were they? All he could do is stare at Zoe, who was standing there, crying. Part of him wanted to hold her and tell her everything would be okay, but for some reason he couldn't make himself move towards her. Instead, he sat on the closest patio chair and put his elbows on his knees, then rest his head in his hands. After several minutes of silence, Connor roughly ran his fingers through his hair and stared up at Zoe, completely unsure about what to say.

"Zoe, I.." he said, but then stopped himself and took a deep breath, "I don't know what I'm supposed to say.. This wasn't supposed to happen.."
