Chris slept semi-peacefully until Ms. Haese called again for something and he went to get it for her before getting back in bed with his girlfriend.

Sophia woke up when she heard Chris coming back into bed. She opened her eyes and yawned, looking over at him. "Hey baby," she said.

Sighing, Chris shrugged. "Honestly?" He asked. "I'm nervous and I have no clue in hell what I'm doing or what is going to happen, but I am excited to learn. That is, as long as you're by my side." What had started out as just going out with this girl, like any other girl, turned into him wanting to kill himself if she ever left him. Whether he liked it or not, Sophia had become his everything.
