Heaven nodded at Melody's request and followed her down the hall being sure to keep low and soundless. With more strength Heaven would now be able to use some of her superior fighting skills along with her soldier training.As Melody busted through the door and took out the four men Heaven followed close behind still in silence as they walked through the surgical room Heaven picked up two huge meat cleavers.She didn't pay much attention to the lycan boy in the room as she walked pass him and continued to follow Melody.

Heaven's blood was rushing through her so fast, she could tell her adrenaline would be with her for the next few hours. She remembered this feeling from being out in the field when she was in the military, it made her feel alive and the wolf inside her thirst for it.This was the moment she had been waiting for and if they ever get out she knew she would owe her life to Melody.

Dim sat listening to what he said about the Nighthawks. He had only heard of the name Nighthawk, but he didn't know who they were or what they did. He felt a sense of fear settle in his stomach. The idea of what he explained to what they did made Dim start regretting his birth. He guessed he was lucky he hadn't heard of them before. Now that he had, he felt that this new family was whom he would remain with for a while. It seemed mcuh safer. He waved to the man. "I'm Adam, but I prefer the name Dim" he said, dropping his arm.

Sayo had been walking the halls when he saw Heaven and Melody sneaking their way into the surgical room. He grinned at the sight. <Finally... I will have a little bit of fun. It's been boring as of late.> he walked into the surgical room after them and leaned against the wall. "Hey. Where do you think you are going? Melody! I didn't think you would turn on us," he pouted with humor in his eyes and a jest on his lips.

Heaven felt her heart drop as she heard Sayo. She turned abruptly to face him and made sure she was between him and Melody. She knew Sayo for the past 6 months, he was never the one to torture her or anything but he was the one to bring her here in the first place. For the last 6 months he would visit her cell a solid every other day just to try to provoke her into attacking him or he would just stop by to see her after the torturing, probably to check if she was still alive. Heaven didn't understand why he did this but as far as she could tell he didn't either.Every time she asked him why he would bother coming to her cell he would just smirk and give a smart ass comment then walk away.

Heaven crouched into her fighting stance and said," Sayo, your going to have to kill me before I go back to my cell. We can go through you or around you...your choice." Heaven flipped one of the cleavers in the air and caught it ready for anything.

Veronica passed Rachel by and skulked about the rest of the compound until she walked in on Sayo, who, in turn, had walked in on Melody and one of the werewolf girls...what was her name again? Ah, it doesn't matter, thought Veronica.

As she approached, she heard the lycan say, "You're going to have to kill me before I go back to my cell."

"Hey, Sayo," Veronica interjected from behind him. "If you can't kill her for whatever reason, leave her to me. Otherwise, you should probably take her out quickly, lest I steal your prey."

Sayo smirked. "I thought you would know me better by now sweet heart," he said to Heaven before realizing they were not alone. He looked over. "No. I can handle this. It's fine. you know me, I like to play them." he smiled at her charmingly. "I can kill her, I just don't want to yet. I want to shake things up a little." He turned toward Heaven again and with his eyes looked at the door. He barely mouthed, 'run.'

Heaven didn't waste any time before she turned and ran out the door. On her way out she grabbed Melody and pushed her through the door along with Ali. Then Heaven shut the door and locked it with all the dead bolts, it was a heavy door made of thick metal.She knew how to pick her battles wisely and she knew she was not at full strength to take him on." He is playing with us, he will hunt us and kill us if we don't kill him. But we need to get out of here and fast."

Sayo smiled at Veronica innocently. "oops. They left. Now I get to hunt them," he smirked. "You don't mind do you? Things around here are pretty boring and scheduled. I will give them a head start before I start picking up their trail." he stood up straighter and stretched. "I am going to go select some weapons for the hunt, unless you have something else to say Sherry?" he smiled, flashing his pear white teeth Veronica's way.

Melody got out with Heaven and the other Lycan, My father will be so angry, but maybe when he finds out his daughter is turning his back on him, he'll turn over a new leaf. Or maybe not. We'll just have to see." She thought as she ran along side the Lycans.

When they were far enough away from the building she stopped to catch her breath, "Man, I thought I was in shape, but running a few miles wore me down. I need to exerise more."

"Yeah, I've got something to say. A silver-tipped harpoon gun makes for a particularly painful kill, I'd recommend it. Unless you can't aim it, then I'd sacrifice pain and see if we've got a Soviet semi-automatic carbine lying around here. But hey, these are just recommendations, if you know something better, then by all means go for it."

Veronica had to say, she admired Sayo's style. Things had been getting pretty boring here as of late. She just hoped he didn't kill the runaways on the spot, that way he could drag them back to be tortured by anyone who wanted a piece.

Heaven growled as she noticed Ali was bleeding," We can't stop now, we need to get to town." She knew that with him bleeding it would just make it so much easier to find them.Heaven turned to Melody,"Can you keep going? I think there is a town just a mile out."She forgot how humans get so tired quickly.

Sayo smiled at Veronica,"Silver-tipped harpoon gun? Not bad I might try it." He uncrossed his arms and started toward the door he had walked through back inside the main building." I think I will start the hunt once they get in town, who knows we might find more lycans..."He made his way out of the room and down the hall thinking of all the ways he could hunt them and take them down. He wanted to use a method that he could embrace the hunt instead of a one shot kill type, he was going to have fun with this hunt.

Veronica smirked evilly as Sayo suggested tracking the lycans all the way to town. She wouldn't have thought of that, being more comfortable in the compound, but it was an efficient plan to say the least. "Sounds good," she said, flashing him the thumbs-up. Though she didn't like people in general, she could respect intelligent planning. "Call me when you're ready, unless you don't want me tagging along. Well, I'm going to go dissect somebody. You're welcome to join," she offered. He went one way, and she went the other, towards the cells in search of a victim.

Sayo smiled and said," I'll call you for the hunt and as for the dissecting? That's all you honey, just don't take to long. I might leave without you." He continued to walk down the hall until he reached the weapons room. Inside he grabbed a black bag and started to fill it with various weapons and tools.He took his time whistling as he outlined the walls that held weapons examining each one carefully.He walked slowly devising a plan on how he would use each weapon.

"Oh, don't worry. I'll be ready when you are," said Veronica--she wouldn't be object to leaving for the hunt with a half-dissected lycan still strapped to the table, with pins and knifes stuck into him and no anesthesia.

Once she was in the cell block, she picked a cell at random and dug through her pockets until she found a tranquilizer syringe. She stuck it into the lycan, who stopped thrashing and lay still. Then, she opened up the cell and dragged her victim down to the surgery room, where she rudely awakened him with a deep abdominal incision. "Morning, sleepyhead!" she laughed as she carved. "...Let's see, what shall I do with you...well, my uncle Bart did write me saying that he needed a kidney transplant..."

Her next words were lost in a sea of terrified, agonized screams.

Melody nodded, "Yes, I've been trained all my life for fighting and running at the right times. I can make it." She said though wondering what they were going to do about the male Lycan.

He was injured and it was obvious that he couldn't run another mile with out blacking out.

She looked at Heavan, wondering if she had any ideas.

Jericho looked at Brooklyn briefly, before averting his gaze, " I'd rather not talk about it," He said, that line of thought bringing up bad memories. He turned to the others trying to take the attention off of him. "So Old man, I'm geussing you've had you're fair share of run ins with them, due to you welcoming attitude earlier." He said, trying to take the attention off of him, smiling to disarm any hostility.

A high alarm rung throughout the entire Nighthawk facility. In the ear peices of every hawk except Melody's, her father's voice was heard:
"Hawks. Round up. Open the cells. Open the doors. Open everything. Let them out. When you're done, return to command and see me. I have something important I wish to tell you. and then you can deal with my little daughter the traitor." A beep, and then radio silence. Silence and static. Simple, and usual.

Saul looked up at Jericho with a solemn look, "My name's Saul Avansche. Not old man. I've met with those nighthawks more than a few times. All I can say is that every year they get bigger, faster, stronger.... they'll never stop until each and every one of them are dead. All of them are family you know... they see outsiders as possible traitors. Thing is, I don't trust their blood. They're all psycho. Nuts. And damn efficiant. You see them, don't try to be a hero, just run. You'll be dead before you change. That is unless they want you alive. Then you'll wish they'd kill you..." Saul said as his face seemed to turn whiter with every word.
