(anybody know what's up with Idraes?)

Nathanial licked his lips. They felt so dry. He sunk heavily into the couch, wishing it could somehow swallow him.

"Screw--what up?" Nate asked trying to inconspicously slip the mug from the table to have a drink. He was still groggy and bleary-eyed. Not to mention nature was calling--and he wasnt sure he was ready to wobble past the creature that had tried to eat him earlier in the day. Too risky. And what was--Nianzu? Another vampire? Lovely. Just friggin great. He managed to slip the mug into his hand and took a sip of the now cold chocolate. Still--it quenched the dryness in his throat.

"Cameron promised to help me... Remember?" Lucy said, smiling wanly. "After... I almost..... I realized I couldn't live like that anymore... I can't... be a slave anymore. I've already hurt too many people." Lucy's voice was solem. Leaning back, she gave the groggy Nate some breathing room. He didn't seem comfortable around her, and honestly she couldn't blame him.

"Umm...Could I get anything for you? I'm the one who put you in this position... I should own up." Lucy said, laughing akwardly. Not having the sister here glaring a hole in her was a new experience. She must trust Nianzu alot to leave her brother with him.

Row smiled walking down the street to Blinda's house. He was higher than a kite. That hooka had pot in it and Madison hadn't told till he was stoned worse than a muslim woman in a bikini. (sad joke :[ ) Row knocked on the door then popped his head in. "Hellooo." He walked inside, smiling. "So how is everyone?" He walked over to Lucy and hugged her. "Hi Lucy." He turned to nate and was about to hug him but stoped half way. "Nevermind, you probably don't want a blood sucker's arms wraped around you. And you definately don't want the one that's bangin your sister to hug you." He plopped down next to him on the couch. "You two want some weed?" He asked, his eyes wide, looking at them.

Nate blinked at the vampires. He was so confused. Nate barely had time to move his feet before Rowanoak sat on them. He gave the man a narrowed scowl before repositioning himself as far away from the man as possible. Rowanoak was right about one thing--he would not have appreciated a hug. He scoffed when the weed was offered. Boy, his sister sure knew how to pick them.

"psh, yeah Lindy, this one's a real winner." He huffed under his breath. He awkwardly moved to his feet and caustiously (and a little awkwardly) moved past the vampires and into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. He had to resist an urge to groan contentedly once he'd finsihed his buisness. How long had that been held? Wasn't sure. Now what? He drank from the faucet some and moved back out into the hallway.

"So--Rowanoak, does my sister know you're an idiot or is that just our little secret?" Nate was clearly feeling better.

the best course of action Row?" Nianzu called from another room, where he'd been using Blinda's computer. "We are going to fight a battle soon. I for one would want my wits around me."

Lucy nearly jumped out of her skin when the other elder vampire came into the room. When it was just Nate and her, she had been able to relax. But now, the danger of discovery was back, although this time the smell was bringing back strong memories of her college campus. She'd attended for a few quarters, just enough time to get into trouble, and the nursing school.

"Sorry, I'll have to past." Lucy spoke quickly, shaking her head. Her wits needed to be about her; she was here with no Cameron to protect her and probably reeked of Debello. Though, admittedly one of the people who would have noticed was higher than a kite, the other one busy, and she had Nate's blood, and the reek of the hospital in her favor. Still, she couldn't help but worry. Dispite her fear of disovery, she couldn't help giggling at Nate's comment. For the thousand year difference in their ages, perhaps Blinda was the mature one in this relationship.

Row turned around, looking at Nate. "I am no Idiot! I'm an addict. Drugs and alcohol are my friends. You know, I got the whole post tramtic stress crap. So naturally, being immortal, drugs are sweet. No bad side effects. I mean, I might get a head ache from some bad crack but that's about it." He got up and walked into the office Blinda had set up. He leaned against the desk the computer was on. "Well Nianzu, when the cat is away the mice will play." He smiled. "I'll be fine for the fight, I'll be like water. Just flowing around the their attacks. Or letting the bullets pass through me." He grinned. "Your kitty is away too, so you gonna play? We could mix some LCD into some blood?"

Audrey ignored Row's calls but followed him as he left. He led her back to the house she had found Nadia at earlier, "Is this like a makeshift headquarters or soemthing?" Audrey shrugged and knocked on the door after a good five minutes of waiting. "Anybody in there?"

Nadia laughed at Blinda, "Don't worry hun, I can get you in to any club." She winked at her and raised her glass. She stopped smiling and looked at Blinda, "I'm sorry about this whole Row thing..." she let her sentence trail off letting it set in, "I didn't mean for it to happen, I hope we can all get passed it...someday."

(sorry, for the lateness, but i just gots me a new computer ^.^)

Row smiled, hearing knocking at the door. He walked out of the office and into the livingroom. He cleared his throat and tried out his best maid's voice. "Who is iiiit?"

Audrey was startled by the high pitch voice, must be Row. "Its...um..." she thought about her answer, "its your sister Row." She scratched the back of her head, wondering what his reaction would be.

Blinda felt anger swell inside her chest for a moment at Nadia's mention of Rowan. She managed to conceal it--well for the most part. She must have gripped the glass in her hand a little too tightly--because it burst into what seemed to be millions of tiny fragments and dissappeared. The only proof that it had been there was the now spilled champagne. Hurriedly, Blinda pushed her anger under. Self-control; she reminded herself stubbornly.

"im so sorry, Nadia! i guess i just--don't know my own strength yet. I thought i was being gentle!" Blinda babbled nervously. She swept what seemed to be a pile of sand into her hand (something she assumed had been the glass only moments before) and hastily dumped it into the trash. "I promise i'll replace it later." She was sure to avoid the subject of Rowan again.

Nathanial lightly slapped the palm of his hand to his forehead. What did Lindy see in this Rowan guy anyway? Did she know he had drug problems? (though...she MUST know he's a moster--so maybe the drug thing would be even easier to handle.) Boy, what a mess, Lindy, Nate thought bitterly eyeing Rowan with distain. He nearly jumped out of his skin when someone knocked on the door. Ignoring Rowan's idiodic reply was somewhat relaxing for him.

Rowan's sister huh? Well--what's one more vampire in the house--right? Boldly (and still with some minor wobbling) Nathanial decended the stairs and opened the door. He leaned in the doorframe, looking a little rumpled, his dark hair sticking up from sleeping on it.
"What do you want?" Nate grumbled, before pausing to look. The girl in front of him was heartbreakingly beautiful--and somehow..familiar. Must look like one of the models in the magazines under my bed...Nate thought with a tinge of shame. His cheeks reddened a little--standing out against his almost ghostly pale cheeks.
"I mean uh--well--can i help you?" Nate tried again, green eyes slightly flustered.

Audrey let her hair fall to one shoulder and smiled at the man who had opened the door, "Hi I'm Audrey. Would it be alright if I came in?" Audrey laughed playfully as she watched his cheeks redden, "Lets get you to a chair or something you seem like your out of it." Audrey walked up to him and placed her hand on the small of his back leading him to the couch. She gently lowered him to the couch and sat next to him. She looked around the room and saw Row, "Hey Row, its nice to finally meet you. Sorry for letting myself in but this guy just did not look like he should be standing at all." She smiled again. Her niceness was catching herself off guard.

Nadia looked down at the water, guess bringing up Row is a bad idea..."So Blinda..." she searched for something to talk about, "What color bridesmaid dresses do you want to have at the wedding?" Nadia smiled big taking another sip of her drink, "and don't worry about the glass, I got plenty."

Cameron heard a new voice out in the living room and stroked Elizabeth's hair, "We should go see whats going on out there." He stood up and offered his hand to her, "You ready, I think Row came back." He smiled at her, he hadn't been this happy in a long time.

Row's eye brows conturted in cunfusion. Sister? Which sister. He had a few. Some of he wasn't on the best of terms with. "Which one?" He asked worry in his voice. He saw Nate open the door and reached out, trying to stop him. But it was only Audrey. "Oh! That's more pleasant than who I thought..." Images of his angry, Brazilian ,step-sister flashed in his mind. He shuttered slightly.

He raised his head and waved politly to her. "Hello Audrey, It's a pleasure to finally meet you and welcome you into my family." He groaned mentally. The drugs were wearing off. Maybe he should have a early bachelor party.

Elizabeth nodded then got up off the bed. Maybe she could talk to Row about all this. She walked to the door then stopped. She heard Row say Audrey's name, she strained her ears harder, he was talking to her. Audrey was out there, and Row was welcoming her into the family. She bit her lip. She didn't want to fight with Audrey again. Plus, If Audrey did anything to to her, Row would go balistic. Sister or not, no one disrespected his mother infront of him.

Nathanial allowed himself to be led back to the couch by the beautiful young vampire. He was smitten immidiately--and he was acutely aware of it. She was so lovely. And surprisingly gentle. Not at all as frightening as the other vampires he'd come across--especially not nearly as frightening as Lucy. And since she was related to Rowan--he was all the more surprised by how kind and gentile she was. He had to resist an urge to rest his head on her shoulder. Instead--he sat next to her rigidly, awkwardly, his hands clasped in his lap to be sure they wouldn't wander by accident. He wanted to reach out and touch her. To hold her. He swallowed dryly and allowed himself to reach for the water bottle on the table. He took a sip and replaced it, eyes never leaving the blonde. His ears seemed to sing with her name as Rowan addressed her--Audrey. Beautiful. A small sigh escaped his lips.

Blinda gave a small lopsided smile.
"Red--of course." Blinda said with a smile. "I won't have my bridesmaids looking drab--sexy all the way." She laughed, eyes lighting up. "And by bridesmaids--i mean--well you, Nadia. You're all i've got really." Sad but true she thought. "And of course--Serina if i ever see her again..."

She slipped back into the tub with Nadia.
