Very nice Keely. Approved. Start playing whenever.
Extinguish the lights of others, so that I may burn brighter.

I think it would be:
Creature type: Dragon
Class: Warrior Shaman (maybe?)
Modifier: Shapeshifter (since it doesn't actually seem to be a race in this case.)

There actually is a Modifer that could be shapeshifter. The morphing ability would probably be that. In the end though its still Magiclad's reign.

Shapeshifter is an accepted creature type as of the last creature type update. If any modifier applied, it would be changeling, allowing Keely's character to be all creature types and classes at once, but allowing her to look like what she would be copying partially. However, due to the fact that a shapeshifter copies the form of other creatures, its strength in a dragon form (at least in RP) would not be the same as a real dragon.

For example, if a Giant and a shapeshifter who has copied that giant's form had an armwrestling match, the genuine giant would win because he was born with that inherent strength. A shapeshifter's strength lies in its versatility. But my decision stands. Keely's character is fine.

I think I see the problem; syntax. all three categories are creature types on the cards, so it should be:
Race:
Class:
Modifer:

Actually, it should go:
Modifier:
Race:
Class:

For example, Gaddock Teeg is:
Legendary Creature - Kithkin Advisor.
Modifier: Legendary
Race: Kithkin
Class: Advisor

Goblin Rimerunner is:
Snow Creature - Goblin Warrior
Modifier: Snow
Race: Goblin
Class: Warrior

The modifier on a creature card precede the hyphen. Race and class proceed the hyphen.

legendary isn't a modifier though, all player characters are assumed legendary remember? modifiers are creature types liek mutant, vampire and that sort of thing, race is creature types like elf or goblin and Class is creature types like soldier and spellshaper.

Mutant, Vampire and that sort of thing are all creature types, thus can be assumed races. Hold on, let me make one more adjustment.

You're not getting the point, Soldier is not a race, it's a class soldier IS a creature type. Mutant is not a race, it's a modifier.

Your definitions and my definitions simply differ, friend Forge. As long as I can understand the character sheet, everything will be fine.

You know, when I made that character format I separated them into those three for a reason. for soem things you need race, class, and modifier as seperate things.

I know.

But please, stop trying to be the power behind the throne. I've made modifications to the sheet so that I may understand them better. All there is to it is as long as I understand who is what, I can call shots.

If you want it that way why not combine the three fields into one called creature type then?
EDIT: WHOA wait a second here, you put snow and legendary as modfiers? those are supertypes, a completely different thing from modifiers. a modifier is ONLY a creature type, never a supertype.

see on my system it would be
Race: Shapeshifter
Class: doppelganger (since this is actually more of a job than a race)
Modifier: none (or shapeshifter)

legendary is a supertype not a modifier
I still say just make one field and call it Creature type, then write it how you would on a card.

I was thinking, we need to decide where all the Planar portals are going to be
the one in dominaria shoudl obviously be in the Tolarian academy
I think for the others, Eiganjo Castle, Izzet Guildhall, and the Lumengrid

That works for those planes. For Shadowmoor/Lorwyn, I'm just gonna have Oona create the portals, or if one knows how to access a faerie ring, that will also serve as an inter-planar portal.
