Still playing with Vyre's mind, Keith saw Vyre's blade going for his guts again and his head trying to reach Keith's neck. This was something he couldn't fully evade so he tried to punch Vyre's head with his free arm while moving backwards to take his rapier off Vyre's shoulder. This would most likely result to Keith being hit by the waving swords if Vyre decided not to move backwards or be slightly injured if Vyre would try to evade Keith's punch. Also this may result to Keith falling down but hopefully not losing his weapon to his enemy.

Vyre growled again as he was hit in the head, but a fist wasn't too bad for now. He held on to the weapon in his shoulder with his vampiric strength determined to keep it in place. Soon as his slash had finished he held it off to the side and jumped forward in an attempt to tackle down Keith, deciding that if Keith was going to keep inside of his head he would have to use his own vampiric ability soon.

As Vyre was about to tackle Keith, Keith moved to the right still holding his rapier which was deep into Vyre's shoulder. He saw Vyre grabbing and holding the rapier tighter on his shoulder and, unfortunately, Vyre's strength was superior. If Keith couldn't take out his rapier he could at least cause more pain to Vyre by moving the rapier left and right while he was moving behind Vyre. At the same time with his free hand he tried to grapple Vyre's neck and try to strungle him. Their minds were still connected and Keith pressured himself to cause even more damage to Vyre's mind.

At the same time Keith was contacting Anya's mind. Doing this would really reduce his reflexes, but he had to tell her some things. "Anya." Keith's voice could be heard quietly and blurring now and then from the pressure of the fight. "Hah... Maybe this is the right time to talk to you. Weird time i chose... Though it may be my only chance, i won't last long." The connection faded for a second as Keith was avoiding Vyre's tackle. "Maybe... You won't believe me.. Maybe i am a liar like all the others... One thing i know for sure, i am the only one who doesn't want to hurt or use you for evil purposes... You know, you hold something of great power over there..." Again the connection faded as Keith was hitting Vyre's mind. "This thing you carry.. It is one family's death or life... MY family's death or life... And Vyre is one of the people who want to kill me. This also means kill the person who can cure me of my disease... And that person is you... I didn't know your parents but i know that they died trying to protect you..."......

Vyre growled in pain again, the mind tricks were becoming really annoying and lowered his reflexes. Soon he found himself being choked and decided to experiment with more vampiric forms of combat as his opponent was doing with the mind attacks. Suddenly Vyre called upon a very ancient vampiric ability, he suddenly turned into a large swarm of bats and flew about the room wildly, his consciousness split into the many little creatures that coated the air to make finding his mind much harder to target, if nearly impossible without the ability to hit hundreds of creatures at once. Every bat was still with his intelligence and will, making them almost equal to his real self in defending against the mind attacks. With his new form he began a different kind of attack, swarming down on Keith, biting and scratching at the opponent.

The fangs and little claws were larger then natural, but only up to an inch and a half. Still the swarm descended trying to cover every inch of him and break his focus. This was one of Vyres powers as an elder vampire, the new generation had fantastic bizarre abilities and Vyre was forced to use older kinds. Each bat would try to rake their teeth on Keith's skin. Being vampire bats their bites would not heal so quickly by simple regeneration. Each furry little creature tried to claw off the clothes to find skin to destroy. If one could get a good grip on his back they would try to continously burrow through flesh until they were forced off or into the man to tear his insides apart. A single bat remained impaled on the sword where Vyre's shoulder had once been.

((I use classic vampire mythology lol))

"Changing to offensive mode, aren't we Sir?" Thought Keith. "Let's see your body reconstructed when i kill a good amount of those." With a smile in his face he used his mind tricks again, easily mind commancing two of the bats to fly away, out of the window. Keith himself drew his sword from one of the little bats when suddenly they all begun attacking him. He was paralyzed in the beggining, trying to protect his face mainly. First of all he begun mind commanding them one by one to exit the building, though this was too slow. Overall he managed to take off 4 that way. With his sword waving he managed to kill, or at least wound deadly two of them before an idea came to his mind. "What if..." He thought... His natural regeneration was not helping a lot so he rolled at the ground, jumped and shiethed his sword quickly. With his right hand he grabbed and took off the curtains of the wall throwing them on as many bats as possible (most likely 10 - 15) and with his left hand he grabbed the other side of the curtain, closing those bats in a sack like thing. He tied it up and was about to wave it to make the free bats go away but one of them bit his hand and the sack slipped from his hand, going outside the window.

Meanwhile...

"...The pendant you have there has the ability to heal the decease my family, and me, have. Our enemies though want to to destroy it or to use it as a way to manipulate us. But, i didn't know that when i first saw you. I remembered it just a few seconds before. You know, if you care for your parents, if you care for my family's future, if you care for saving some innocent peoples' lives, i beg you to go and cure them. Leave. Seek protection. You know where my palace is. People will treat you well there. You will be both free and a savior, honored by many nobles and the hero of those children who will die of a treatable disease... Just.. Please..." The connection between them was cut suddenly. Only the echo of the word "Please..." remained there, being heard many times in Anya's brain before it faded....

Vyre's odd laugh echoes around the room, "impressively creative, most people just roll around in a panic." The bats still numbered greatly though and continued to weaken Keith's body with their assault. Each bite going deep as possible until they all backed off unanimously. They flew around the room for a moment collecting their entire consciousness when suddenly they began to disappear. They turned into a black smoke in mid flight, those within the improvised sacks leaked out as they turned simply into a gas.

The cloud was still heavily dispersed and was hard to pinpoint in the room. Suddenly it began to streak through the air at Keith from different angles, aiming to get into his body. The smoke would try to leak in through his mouth,nose,ears, the wounds in his skin, any opening possible it would try for. If enough of it got into him, he would suffocate or rot within seconds as it got into his system.

((and I thought it was Anya's blood not pendant you needed? I dunno lol))

Keith has begun to be afraid. His enemy was too powerfull to defeat. "I'll fight till the last moment." He thought. Grabbing the other curtain he tried to create wind so that he would blow away that poisonous gas thing. At the same time he was running towards a closed window, his body was full of bites so he couldn't run as fast as when he was fully healthy. When he reached the closed window he smashed the window's glass in two small places so that the wind from outside would flow faster, most likely blowing away all of Vyre's poisonous gas. Taking off one more curtain from the walls Keith begun assisting by continually waving the poisonous gas away. "Gas... Air.. THINK KEITH!!!" Looking around he saw one of those small lamps with oil. Still waving with his one hand he lit the small lamp and torched one of his curtains. "No oxygen, no gas can spread." He thought....

Vyre's form was slowed by the wind indeed, but with it's sentience it was still pulling itself towards him. It lay across the ground where the outside wind had less effect so that it could pull itself forward. He would have arched a brow at the attempt to remove oxygen in the air with fire had he a face, because the window was still open and no flaming curtain would be able to destroy a roomful of oxygen with an open window. Vyre was thankful the mansion was constructed mostly of stone and marble and would not burn if that curtain got too out of hand.

Vyre refused to let up on his smoky assault, instead the gas in the room pulled closer together, becoming heavier and more dense as not to be blown away so easily, only slowed as it approached from a multitude of directions. Smoke started to creep up to the window from the outside, where the bats Keith had thrown out and made fly away were returning to add to the form and approaching through the window behind Keith now.

"Ok, time to use my mind seriously." Keith thought. He forced himself to run as fast as his injured body allowed him, breaking all the windows of the room and taking as many curtains as he could carry, leaving those near the space heater untouched and closing those that were open near it. Then he threw the burning curtain together with the others near the space heater, increasing the heat of that spot by a lot, while cold air was coming from the other way of the room. According to what Keith have learned on Physics, gases of all kinds should follow the heat. The heat is going upwards when there is also a cold source nearby. "Cold goes down, hot goes up.. Right..." This would most likely force Vyre's poisonous gas to go upwards, stick on the roof and then slowly move away from Keith. If Vyre stayed in that form for too long while on the roof his body would most likely be decomposed. If he tried to return to his normal form he would fall from a fairly big distance.

Vyre laughed a bit, his voice echoing through the room. He was impressed with his creativity to survive the situation. He actually rose purposefully to the ceiling above, it was high up for sure but a vampire could take three times the fall. His voice echoed out again in an ancient vampiric language, he didn't know if Keith but kept talking under teh assumption he could. "Did you know rats spread the black plague? It was lethal, and you didn't even have to be bitten by one." If Keith knew about the elder vampires, rats were a popular form of transformation at times. There was another form he was prepared to use as well if necessary to finish this fight.

Suddenly the smoke started pulling together and rats...tons of rats began to descend downward with gravity above Keith. It was an easy fall for them, and they would immedietly attempt to swarm upon him and bite and gnaw even more. Following the same strategy as the bats they would try to go in through wide enough wounds to crawl under his skin and finish him off.

((Lol this is an interesting fight, your using science i'm using vampire mythology, the kind from back before anime started giving them magic and shit. Is it just me or has everyone else ditched us cuz koh's not responding to my PM's lol))

"Hahaha, the worse move you could do...." Keith said, trying to laugh but he felt his wounds killing him so he stopped. "You forget that you get both the advantages and disadvantages of your forms. And you know what rats fear a lot? Fire!" Keith begun grabbing some of the burning curtains and throwing them around the mice, traping them inside a flaming circle. Even if Vyre was controlling them still in the eyes of a mouse being surrounded by fire would create panic to the whole group. Most likely some of the mice would try to run through the fires, be engulfed in them and spread the fire to the rest of their group. But this may not work as they were supposed to have a small part of Vyre's logic. If any of the mice escaped from the circle or wasn't trapped in it Keith would cover them with a nice fire. After being sure that all the mice are trapped Keith would try to mind control one of those, making it catch fire and run to the others...

(Hehehe, i can't use magic according to Ko's first post. Which means that i have to use my mind and mind control. And yes, we are the only one left in this RP. So, to end this, the plan was that i die and Ko kills you. At least as far as i know... Which means that i will die eventually, i just want to find a "heroic" way to die. xD)

Vyre chuckled again, he had expected that since he had a flaming curtain this entire time but it accomplished something else. Suddenly they returned to their smoky form around him this time it didn't bother wasting time trying to infect him. Even as it began to rise again from the heat Vyre moved into an almost cheating form of combat.

He would form without his legs and sometimes without his left arm suddenly behind Keith who was busy with the curtain. With a quick slash he returned to smoke and was gone. within half a second he re-appeared in front this time and slashed upwards before dispersing again. The smoke was still rising so he had only a few moments left, forming to the side with another hard slash using all his vampiric strength. Finally he formed a foot or three in the air and slashed downward as he landed on his feet fully formed, thrusting forward as the slash completed in attempt to stab right through Keith's heart.

((Sure after all this the little girl kills me -.- how the hell do you make a sequel off that? lol, ah well I still have my brother, and Sicily in this place to carry on my will bwahahaha. Though if she doesnt show up for that ima try and write an epilogue and make a sequel on a different site probly.))
