A little stat fun:

Marked took 7 days to reach 170 posts.
Marked 2 has taken 17 days to reach 170 posts.

So this RP is going a little slower than the last one, but actually we've got more players than that one did and everyone's been regular.

The real stat to beat is for longevity. Marked 1 lasted for 548 posts, the last post being made 145 days after the first. (It was crawling along by the end and had a couple of hiatus periods.)

Let's see if we can break that! :) Make it last longer, and see if we can get to 500 posts in a shorter time.

true i started a maximum ride on the 1st of july and im happy to say it is still going and still remaining on the front page of the books and lit section booyah!!! *ahem*

I enjoyed the first three books in the Max Ride series very much. After that, I think James Patterson had his co-authors write it. The writing style was completely different and tasteless compared to the others. The fourth SUCKED (it was only about global warming and failed to follow a plot. it was just like GLOBALWARMINGISEVILANDLET'STHROWINAROBOTMANTHATMAKESNOSENSE. YEAAAAAAAHHHHH) the fifth was only slightly better and the sixth was ehhhhhhh. Haven't read the last one yet if it came out already, but my hopes are low. It's one of those series that should have ended when it was originally set to, after the first three.

Maximum Ride is about 6 kids genetically altered to be 98% human and 2% avian DNA giving them wings and other powers. They escape from baddies trying to use them for evil in a quest to save the world and stuff.

[edit] I've read Maximum Ride...It slowly went downhill after the first few books, which were totally amazing I might add. Patterson lost his touch there.

maximum ride was a good series, but ya, i think patterson lost his touch a smidge.

Jac is at school and dante is in her own world. Time skip is a go whenever you feel ready.

Excellent. Just me who's not heard of Maximum Ride then. *feels like a monkey* I'm sure I've heard of James Patterson though...

Alrighty we'll try to bring things along to the time-skip soon. Everyone try their best to create as much character interraction as possible, just so your own character doesn't end up in limbo too often. So far everyone's doing very well. :]
