RPGateway wants to feature YOUR artwork


We're doing things a little differently this time.
The theme for May is "Your Favorite RPGateway Admins or Mods!"
to kick off our "Monthly Featured Characters" series (hopefully).

The top three submissions will be featured on RPGateway's dA page. The first place winner will have his or her RPG character featured as the theme for next month's MFA (or MFC to be exact).

Deadline is May 25th

Every month, there will be a theme for you all to interpret and draw. It doesn't even have to be a sketch-- it could be a comic, animation, or photograph.

At the deadline, the top three submissions that reflect the theme the best and most creatively will be uploaded onto the RolePlayGateway deviantart gallery.

An example of the quality of entries we have received in past Monthly Featured contests can be found here.

RULES:

→ Please upload or link all images in this topic.
→ Submit as many entries as you wish.
→ Judges are yet to be decided but most likely will be the Artwork mods
→ Any ORIGINAL digital medium accepted (including scanned works, audio recording, etc).
→ If you choose to use works that were not created by you (such as photos, images, or graphics), please cite your sources accordingly.

Thanks everyone for the AWESOME turn out even though this MFA started a week later than usual. We loved every single entry (bewbs! ass-kickery! ), and the competition was really close this time.

What about mods or admins that don't have characters, how do we do them?

Feel free to send them a PM to ask how they would like their avatar or persona or specific RP character to be portrayed. Otherwise, it's okay if you make it up based on their avatar or signature or something. Even a cute comic parody would be nice!

In case anyone else is confused, "mods" are "moderators" like Jadeling and Skallagrim, and "admins" are "administrators" like Remaeus and Hilde.

I can't wait to see this Monthly Featured Character series start to get going with actual RPGateway users' characters. Maybe we can mix them up with themes too, like portraying them in a Halloween costume or something...

Aaaand, if anyone is interested in drawing me as an Artwork mod, I wouldn't mind if my avatar were portrayed in Gothic Lolita garb ; )

Lawl, this is so cheesy. Here be the four art mods, from left to right: moi, Ingrid (and your gothic lolita dress from hell!), Kasurin, and Yami-Dokuro. I was seriously going to put Yami in a dress to go a long with the gothic lolita theme but... YOU ESCAPED THIS TIME.
