Biography:
I'm an English teacher and a Ph.D. student in literature. I read a lot. Lots and lots of fantasy, science-fiction, and, occasionally, some horror. I table-top roleplayed a lot in the past, primarily AD&D 2nd edition (and occasionally Shadowrun).

I'm kind of cynical about the current incarnation of Dungeons and Dragons. Although I own a lot of the 4th edition material, I... just... can't... enjoy it.

Roleplaying has stirred in me an intense love of fantasy literature. And so, I spend a lot of time reading, writing about, and writing sword and sorcery.

My favorite authors in this genre are the classic ones: Robert E. Howard, Fritz Leiber, Michael Moorcock, and Jack Vance.
