Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

Well, if I was being completely honest with myself I would tell you that I'd challenged myself to fight the things meant to put me to sleep to see if I could do it. I didn't know how exactly I would do it, but I was determined. In the end I'm not sure how I did it. I think my will to stay awake was ...

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

Thanks for the ice cream, but it was actually recommended by my dentist not to have any. I didn't get knocked out. I was given a pill that was supposed to knock me out, but I guess I'm too good for that. It barely made me drowsy. They tried to knock me out by cranking me with laughing gas too, but t...

Re: SOF - Ask a Character Thread

Q:Can we all agree that Dastan, Crys, Sean, Ella, Kirsten, and any others I've forgotten to mention are a little obsessive? Evin: "Valcrest seems to do that to people. Obsession is a key feature to people's lives in Valcrest. They obsess about ideals, about people and places. I myself have sev...

Re: Intelligence of Emotions

Ethics is all about emotional responses. One can't be thinking ethically without thinking emotionally as well. I consider much of the discussions about ethics logical. Therefor, I think it stands to say that emotions can be logical.

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

It makes me happy to know that they don't want Jen to die. I was really afraid that all Jen would do was give me trouble or become a character like Evin's mother. :P Now, next to Evin, Ella was the character I wanted to see die the least. Next to her is Jen. I'm not going to make any promises about ...

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

I'm surprised that people have seen enough of Rick to have a real opinion on him. If anything, he is Lamya's puppet even if she doesn't actually do much to influence him in any way. Rita stays because of her Stalkholm syndrome. She doesn't want to end up like Hastings. And she also loves and believe...

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

*Enjoys own personal victory with getting the fan club to side with Lamya*

I think I've been told this already, but what does the fan club think of Lamya?

-edit-
And if you don't mind... Rita?

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

I know your joking. I just have an odd pastime of logicing my way through things.

Blackbird wrote:He chose to be stabbed, or stab himself

So you admit that Lamya didn't stab him? ;P

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

No it isn't. Luke told Lamya to stab herself whilst using his enlightenment. Lamya, being the type of person she was, decided she would do what was asked of her. She stabbed herself while embracing Luke. Luke could have done something to escape, but he didn't. Lamya's stab wound was a small pin pric...

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

If you asked Lamya, she'd probably say that Luke stabbed himself unintentionally while stabbing her.

Did you like Rita's interaction with Lamya? I told you that you were going to like it. Did you?

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

Oh, I like the bell idea! So, I've come down with a bad case of the writer's block. I decided that I was just going to wrap it all up and post what I've got. It isn't like I was going to write much more anyways. I only had one more scene in mind. Sadly, it will have to wait for another time (hopeful...

I know that this is a big undertaking and all, but I'm just curious if you are going to do the other two RPs that came before this.

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

Cicada bugs just make me think of hot places. I picture a desert as a hot place. That's the connection I was making. Your idea is better.

Yeah, I understand. I should have continued writing while we were writing that scene out so I could pretty much post it when we finished.

Re: Shadows of The Forgotten

I think you should do sounds of different animals for each city. I know you asked Trickster what she thought about Newhaven, but I have my own suggestion too... For almost everywhere. Blackpond: Sound of mice Newhaven: Pigeons or doves Wolfpack: ... a bear , or maybe a wolf I guess Desert: Those bug...
