Re: The Future of Gaming?

You should probably dread to think what influence games like League of Legends will have on corrupt coperate executives. Imagine, a game where you can only play a limited field of its full range (the Champions in the game) and have to pay for more. That is League of Legends presently, but you can pu...

Re: Grassroots 2012: Crucible (Sign-up & OOC)

Certainly seems that way. We haven't even got shit talking in the OOC thread.

This is unreasonable and unheard of!

Re: The Future of Gaming?

I expect the right to access my game if I've paid for it. If World of Warcraft was purely an online thing, fine, I'd accept that. But you put down what, 60 dollars for the initial CD? I just paid for a product, and to deny me access to it means I have paid for a worthless piece of plastic. It's an ...

Re: How does this site work???????????

Woah, well now. You're already joined to the site, but if you want to join an RP all you have to do is submit a character. Go into a roleplay that interests you, look for the character tab, and click it. Then there should be a list of characters in the RP, and a submission form beneath it. I don't k...

Re: Wolves: Dead or Alive?

A bigger more savage version of a household pet? O'course it makes a good villain. Wolves are easy to play diversely, from vicious, murderous savages to kind, benevolent, peaceful and noble.

But they're animals. :X

What makes you the happiest in RP's?

Self-explanatory, especially if you've been in the other RP. Let's get this ball rolling. In the Multiverse, I love it when people take canon ideas and add unique new spins on them, rather than just rehashing or copying something else. I love it when a good plot comes together, when my players are s...

Re: Tab Feature will kill this site.

I'm suggesting an idle comment, that maybe the tab feature has made the number of poor quality RP's more noticeable.

But then I don't really get to have an opinion, since I only RP in one spot.

Re: The Meeting of Spirits

Another was dead. The empty dreamspace held a somber mood as the four remaining spirits stood about. "Well..." mumbled Geoffry. He looked dishevelled and nervous, his normally neat state mussed up and disturbed. Even his badges were an angles, rather than neatly pinned in a row. It looked ...

Re: Tab Feature will kill this site.

Many roleplays suffer from a sudden influx of players who rapidly lose interest.

Also Sturgeon's Law. 90% of everything is bad. Not to say 90% of roleplays are bad, just 90% of them will fail.

Re: Samson's Suicide Squad

They were woken up at five o'clock, forced into clothes and onto the chopper. There were quite a few of them now, from Ruskie to Rescha. Only Kamala wasn't with them. And Samson looked utterly furious. He was in sunglasses, probably to hide the sheer anger that was hidden in them. The flight was two...

Re: What makes you the most cross in RPs?

As a GM, when I make a plot I need to know you are interested. Putting off a scene because you don't feel like it gives me the wrong impression. It makes me not care about your character or your plot. I generally try to give each person a moment in the limelight. It just doesn't feel worth it if I d...

Samson's Suicide Squad

"These are a list of recruits we have selected to be a part of the new 'Suicide Squad'," the general said, watching from behind his desk. Lieutenant Samson was looking ill as he scanned the list. "Sir, with all due respect sir, my names on this list." "That's right, Samson. ...

Re: What makes you the most cross in RPs?

I always get bugged by people who try to crash in on fights that they have no place. I mean, I get if you want to stop the bad guy and stuff, but sometimes fights are just way over your head. Or people who start fights for stupid reasons and people who bring in other characters to fight for their ch...

Re: The Meeting of Spirits

The atmosphere was tense. Sha'arish was dead and there was no denying suspicions were high. Still, in one corner the smug-snake Orochi sat, arms folded, watching the other spirits who were already at each others throats. Well, at least two of them were. "You bastard!" snapped Geoff at the ...

Re: What makes you the most cross in RPs?

What's that? You want to take a canon concept, original characters and make an RP out of it? Well, you had better hope its something people don't hate. I want to start a saiyan-esque roleplay in the Multiverse, in which powered characters (not neccesarily saiyans) start off weak then get exponential...
